There are many others options, i would never, ever meet in person.

You really need to be able to trust the person, if you live in the same country you can use bank transfer to send the funds, also they could send you a paypal Gift payment (with strictly no mention of bitcoin or any message), start with low ammount, have the seller send you the cash first, then build up trust.

Obviously, as a seller you need to build up a trust rating. 

You can do that here, by offering services and delivering them, like you see on my profile i have a +8 rating for many transaction.
There are websites like Bitrated again to prove who you are and make you more trustworthy.

Then you can join groups, channels and make friends with people who are also trusted and who could vouch for you.

In this day and age and with the price of bitcoin, meeting someone to do a Bitcoin trade is asking for trouble.

BITTREX is by far the best and safest place to trade Bitcoin and altcoins.

I used to solely trade on Poloniex, mainly due to high volume, but this year they have been shady, i had 2 very "strange" things happen to big margins trades i have, when i went to close them, well in profits and they turned into loosing trades (id closed hundreds of trades the same way before this).  Happened twice in a row back in April and ever since, i have not been back  to Poloniex and never will, they never reply to support tickets now (i have highest ranking account) they can not be trusted.

Bittrex on the other hand, very easy to contact i have one of the top guys on my skype contacts, spoke with them on skype when i have needed to regarding my account and never had anything "unusual" happen when i have been trading there.   

So please take my professional advice and try and avoid Poloniex at all costs.

Then you have facebook groups and probably the most popular right now, Telegram groups.  

I have been in Crypto nearly fours years, been in several paid group to help learn how to train, but no one or nothing beats the service i joined this year. The owner of website, is one of the best traders in Crypto, period. He explains his "signals" in well thought out you tube videos, often over 45mins in length, has everything in "one place" and is highly regarded in the cryptocurrency trading world.

I would be absolutely over the moon if Paypal accepted Bitcoin payments.

Paypal stand to gain a lot of attention from accepting Bitcoin and gain more and more customers (every business wants this). Many people all over the world have trouble selling Bitcoin once they have it, they also have problems with banks and such, thats why we seen the rise of those horrible "western unions" and the likes.


If Paypal would allow people to deposit bitcoin and get cash, i see this as a huge boost for both Bitcoin and Paypal.

When you buy Bitcoin, you can gain and loose value, by simply holding it, so its it most certainly a investment, but not straight up gambling, as if you simply hold bitcoin, you will always have the bitcoin.

But often you will then go on to buy a Altcoin, which is speculating on a digital token.  Speculating to accumulate more Bitcoin, which in itself is gambling.
There are certain things in Crypto trading you can do to help you take a massive chunk of "Risk" out of the equation.   I have been in Crypto nearly 4 years and been in a lot of groups free and paid, seen many traders come and go and im in the best position ever.

The first opportunity for most to try the game will be when the team here launch Pre-Alpha of the new version, this is scheduled to be released in November, in the UK November the 5th is a very Big date "Guy Fawkes" so that would be a perfect day to release pre alpha...  (but im just speculating).

China are the. Biggest fudders in Crypto this latest BS bam "x" had little impact,  they can only cry wolf so many times.

You know what happens after they say they ban it, they have a army of people buying the dip, make no mistake China wants as much Bitcoin as it can get.

Really good idea Febo, i guess it would require some kind of script to auto post to such channels, but i doubt they can be used with each other, as Telegram works different to Slack (for example).
