Pretty incredible how Chris is managing stratis team. Making constant updates and huge milestone. Microsoft, Azure, Unity, Anonimity..just wow. Best investment i had ever .
+100 Not just saying this and i do have other CryptoCurrency Investments. But in these early stages, i have never seen a Team with such Fantastic ideas, bring them to life so quickly and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Also, anyone, can get on board, its easy to join the Slack chat and unless you go full Troll, you will always be Welcome in the Family of fellow Stratis investors, who in turn are always happy to help anyone there, with anything, have had help for all kinds. Not to mention the CEO is often there to answer peoples questions. I could not be happier and my avg buy price is close to 8k, i have the vision to see where we will be in a year from now and its x5 from here easily, x10 x20 would honestly, not be a surprise. |

I see fud and I don't get really why folk think Stratis was low or in a bad place, just because the coin lost some of its value? Development takes time, doing it right is not a simple task. Nicolas's ability to deliver so much quality code in short bursts is impeccable and unusual and I don't think he is going anywhere anytime soon, the full node is of high interest to him. Sigwo reacted really fast to the FutureDrift window and fixed it in a matter of days.
I inherited a monolithic code base that took Nicolas over 4 years to develop and within 2 month I got it to work on stratis and completed the POS algorithm and consensus and I am not going anywhere either. Our (developer)CEO is really on top of things with stirring the ship he has a fantastic vision, forward looking, inspiring motivation he knows how to listen (which is very important) and he never sleeps. I strongly believe the Stratis team is passionate about what we do and here to deliver all kind of good stuff.

You know you have a WINNING Coin when the Trolls come out in force, who by the way, get added instantly to the Ignore list.
I plead for everyone here, who believes in Stratis to do the same, dont feed the trolls simply ignore them.
Lets get a few things straight here.
1- PRICE it went up quite hard and fast, obviously it had to come down and it has, but not too bad. Many other alts in crypto are fearing far worse and STRATIS is still well above ICO price, cant say that about hardly another other ICO in the last 6 months.
Also The ongoing and relentless work by the SOLID and i can not stress this enough ROCK SOLID STRATIS Team, is never ending. Work continues, more plans and ideas are being thought of daily and worked upon, Chris has a great vision for this coin and if anyone here has watched the videos/interviews you will understand that this great vision will come to light in the near future.
STRATIS is one of very few genuine projects to be found, time will prove this even further. There is a lot of confidence in the Slack chat, being spoken by Chris and his core team and its easy to see why, they have a fantastic project and know how to bring STRATIS to the Big Time.

Well done! Can't wait for April to come. January is looking HOT! UNITY integration. A fantastic slack members posted on Reddit about how useful Stratis sidechains will be for UNITY. What is particularly interesting about Unity for game developers is that they can write code once, and have it work for many different platforms with some small tweaks. So the base of the game code can be used for Android, iOS, Windows, Xbox... without rewriting the whole thing.
So that is the promise of "Unity". When you add the blockchain integration through a plugin, you make it possible for a cross platform game to use the blockchain for: (1) buying in game currency (2) conducting a trading/auction system for in game items that can't be counterfeited (3) micro transactions (4) payment between players (5) in game gambling.
Now, the problem is that if you use a normal blockchain, you are bound to their choices for block time and block size, and other such parameters. For example, the bitcoin blockchain with it's 10 minute block time would be inapproriate for microtransactions. A mobile game addict trying to purchase more gems does not want to wait 10 minutes or more for that purchase to clear.
So using a custom side chain on stratis gives the game developers the flexibility to decide the parameters, but they don't have to take on as much development as would be needed to make their own blockchain. instead, Stratis unity plugin will give them some easy to use methods for using a stratis side chain. This is important because a game developer probably has very different skills than a blockchain developer.

IMPORTANT: STAKING AND CHECKING TRANSACTION BLOATHello my Beautiful Stratis Stakers, this ones for you! Especially those of you with a really big sac of $STRAT i have just learned a new and very much needed skill when it comes to POS wallets. So i want to make sure people here know how to do the following. Basically, when you receive stake rewards it creates a transaction, most likely split into two, you can check this easily on the Block explorer page and see. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/strat/1- enter one of your Stratis addresses, click search. At the bottom of the results, you will see Staked with a number of transactions. EG: 60. Now if you have big wallets this can cause a problem. You really do not want these transaction to get close to 1,000 this is when things get bad , clunky, bloated, slow, blocked up, for your wallet address. There is a way to easily "rest" transactions Think of it like a disk clean up on your computer. You simply do this.1- open wallet 2- go to coin control ( settings, option, display > show coin control) 3- Now go to send in your wallet and at the top you will see INPUT (which opens coin control) Then you will see down the left hand side first column with a number in brackets EG: (66) (but most likely much higher) 4 - You simply tick one of these boxes. copy the address for the ticked box. Note down the amount of coins in that address also. EG: 50,250 And click OK takes you back to send. 5- Simply paste in a wallet address. total = Full Amount EG: 50,250 6- click send. Now this is where the "Magic" happens . When you go back to coin control (Click Input) You will see the number in brackets will be super low EG (2) So you have now "cleaned" your transactions. Also, you will notice your wallet is like brand new again. So in summary, send all coins to yourself for each address. Do this every time transaction go over 700 , never letting it get to close to 1,000. ......................................................... this is exactly what i done to clean my wallet transactions up and it worked perfect.

1- Open Bittrex account. 2- make sure to add 2FA !!!!! 3- generate BTC (bitcoin) despoti address. 4- send Bitcoin to that address. 5- wait around 30-60mins for BTC to confirm (be spendable) 6- go to Stratis Market > https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-STRAT7- Buy stratis. 8- download the latest stratis wallet for your OS (window or Max and i think even Linux) 9 - Go to Wallet and generate a STRATIS Withdraw address. 10 - Transfer Stratis from Bittrex to wallet and stake. 11- give yourself a pat on the back, you are now a true Stratis Believer. |
