181  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pasino.com Provably Fair Seeding Event for Fortune Wheel on: May 11, 2022, 10:05:54 PM
I suggest OP do away with the hashes thing as the main point in promoting his casino and just concentrate on the features and what they can offer to the community he should simplify it he already got a copper account it just means he is serious about promoting his project here, hope he can log in and address these questions and concerns.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LUNA & ANC Biggest Scam in Binance Exchange on: May 11, 2022, 03:24:54 PM
OP is not doing research he is barking at the wrong tree, is Binance the only exchange where you can find Luna it's still listed in over 100 exchanges, so why blame Binance alone check Google for a reason why Luna is crashing it takes time to delist a coin, so it's for everybody's good to always do their research and always check the news on the coins that they are investing, what happens to Luna is unexpected but there's a valid reason for it.

184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just lost my job, new yorker here, what to do next? on: May 11, 2022, 01:28:43 PM
Dont want to sell my 2k worth of both dogecoin (25 cent avg) and shiba inu xxxx3750 (avg), invested 3k in loopring (2.07 avg), doing uber eats to survive, waiting for unemployment, living in a tent by bryant park, how can I make money off NFT's? Any other economical gig I can do???

Thanks....this Lad is severly struggling, covid made my job go out of business, 5K left in savings.

Unfortunately, the market is down now, don't rely on making a living out of Cryptocurrency, there's a lot of uncertainty, I'm sure you already read or hear this, only invest money that you can afford to buy, you're already not in a stable job so don't look for projects to invest anymore, just make sure that you are healthy in this trying times, or all that you've got will vanish we are still in a pandemic, just keep looking for a day time job, I'm sure with your skills and persistence you will find one.
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 08, 2022, 11:56:56 PM

We don't know that for sure and that's another speculation that Donaire has some plans to lure him and eventually take him out of the picture, honestly I can't really think that Donaire would do such thing to his co-Filipino boxer.

It's really unfortunate to Casimero because he did faced many complications towards this supposed fight against Butler but for the 2nd time he still didn't make it and worse he has been stripped of his belt.

It's never on Donaire's reputation to harm his fellow fighter's reputation or boxing career in fact he back out in a planned fight with Casimero because things are getting nasty and personal, this is not how he fights he wants to be in a professional level, he is a role model for Filipino boxer and he wants a continuation of Filipino legacy in the world of boxing.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoins did you have (All time in your protofilo) on: May 08, 2022, 11:34:27 PM
If we talk about our protofilo for all time. The coins we held during all time we in crypto.

Then these were my holdings:

1. Eth (Still holding)
2. Avax (Still holding)
3. SOL (Still holding)
4. Mana (Still holding with regret)
5. Netvrk (Still holding with regret)

Also I sold some other coins like - Sand token. Crypto.com, Bnb, Cake, Ogn, Ada

Surprised to see BNB, CRO, and Cake on coins that you dumped these three are still in my portfolio and will always be there, they have proven their worth in the market for so many years and these three are innovative, their platform are always updated to suit the community needs, Crypto.com is also a good coin, their marketing is top-notch not many projects in the Crypto space can sponsor huge events like UFC, you need to consider these coins.
187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler turns 60 pence bet into £157,865.59 on: May 08, 2022, 11:14:06 PM
Being lucky, it is always possible . But i hope he didn't spent too much money in it before he achieved this record because mostly gambler that i know they become successful but the amount what they spent before winning is higher than what amount of rewards they received afterwards, wherein, after how many attempts. and that is because of addiction.

Imagine how hard this game, it's literally a game of luck . Cheesy

What I'm sure of a gambler before he developed insight and an analytical mind on the games will have to spend a lot of money but once he established and become consistent in his analysis there will always be a chance of winning or not losing a lot, of course, he spends a lot of money but there's a possibility that he can do it again if he analyzes it correctly again and luck on his side, luck goes to the gambler who knows his game.
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 08, 2022, 10:59:44 PM

This is one of the basic rules that I use when gambling. Immediately after any significant winnings I leave the casino. But according to my statistics, even this rule does not allow me to get rich by gambling. This approach allows you to spend money somewhere else and enjoy it rather than lose every last cent and leave the casino with nothing.

I am also doing the same it's hard to do when you are starting out, quitting at the right time or before you lose money and your mind, but once you established control and the habit, things will be easy and you enjoy the game, you only play with money that you can afford to lose, although the hardest thing is quitting when you are winning, quitting when you are losing is easy for me.
189  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Formerlychucks.net becomes first major social platform to accept Bitcoin. on: May 08, 2022, 09:45:55 PM

And yeah I agree, many won't get the name but I don't think this social media platform is mainstream oriented as this is how they described themselves "Formerly Chuck's goal is to be a privacy centered platform that allows people to communicate through posting, messaging, and streaming"

They have a targeted market which is the Cryptocurrency community but the name should be associated with Cryptocurrency where the community can easily relate and not from memes, and they should not offer upgrades and plans they can show ads when they are just starting out once they take off that would be the time to offer options to upgrade.
I'm not comfortable on social media sites where members are not equal on the features of the site but since this is privacy-centered I wish them success.
190  Economy / Gambling / Re: I miss the old OnChain gambling on: May 08, 2022, 09:33:39 PM
Onchain gambling is gone, it was one of the first ways to gamble our bitcoins... The casinos used to be totally anonymous, to the point where you don't have to create an account on the casino to place a bet. And that was what I call freedom.

I did not reach this kind of game I was late here, and the format and the trend are what are we've seeing right now, it must be really good in the olden days because we all want anonymity in our playing session

Quote
Those engines were provably fair, and the max wins were up to 100BTC in lucky bit (in that time BTC was at $500 approx) but still huge.

If a player knows what will be the price of Bitcoin 8 years from then he would have played a lot just to get more Bitcoin

Quote
The new casinos are crazy with their KYC rules and customer support. They hold users' money as if they were the owners of the money, and you can find all the same slots games bringing a lack of original and probably fair games.

That's true there's one casino here that just opened and ask for a phone verification when you are signing up and it received a lot of bad feedback from the community, the KYC is now required when the casino thinks your account is suspicious

Quote
Maybe regulation brings us to the current situation, but in the past was funnier, fair, and legit. And that's why I miss the old onchain gambling.

Do you remember those old casinos, and what are your thoughts about the current gaming sites compared with the old ones?

I wish e have something like that today so we new players can enjoy that game and appreciate it too but we all know casinos wants to protect their interest that is why they have a new system in place.
191  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: May 08, 2022, 03:09:24 PM
~snip

Of course, but so far it looked like things were going more towards abandoning the business than growing it. At this point, there are positive signals from users, so hopefully better times are ahead for Bitvest.
When the owner itself is not showing the interest then what is the point of users being positive about the future of the gambling sites. Did he made any announcement in this thread? When I looked at his post history I don't see anything related to the business in the recent days.
We cannot tell that's because he is not posting here his business is not doing well if you check the stat and the interface and the chat widget everything are all good, Bidvest is a big proof that if you are an old casino and well known one, even if you are not active in your thread things will still be good as long as there are no complaints coming or posted here.
We should stop hoping that he will do a campaign here he is not even buying ads anymore here in Bitcointalk.
192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: May 08, 2022, 02:38:20 PM
It is already banned, and I am sure concerned citizens will report a site if they happen to know of any online cockfight operating in the PH jurisdiction. Let's just hope that the action of the authority regarding the reported cases is prompt.
It's for sure that there will be people that will report those operations to the authority as it's already banned by the government. As it's directed for a closure effective immediately, the authorities have acted on it.
And the business that has been affected by this ban, they've responded promptly and ordered an immediate closure. That's good for them and hopefully they won't break that action they've done and will still fully comply to the said order.
I hope so but I'm not sure if people will stop their activity of gambling cockfighting because they have been used to playing it for a long time. In addition, there may also be offline cockfighting bets in their neighborhood and no one knows about it. That would certainly make it difficult for the authorities to arrest or interrogate people who bet or were caught. But hopefully people will also be aware of the ban from the government.

We have weekly backyard cockfighting here on our farm, of course, it's illegal but it's our folk's tradition, and besides its on limited hours you cannot lose a lot of money here because you can do it at a specific time because they are afraid of getting raid and no young people are allowed to bet, but online sabong or cockfighting is very different even children can bet and hide it to the parents, it escalates to something worse and as the president says the country is losing their moral values.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Dogecoin become the new BTC? on: May 08, 2022, 02:23:39 PM
Is it possible that dogecoin can beat BTC after Elon musk takes over Twitter? Imagine if Dogecoin is well accepted throughout the world then BTC wouldn't this makes Dogecoin the new coin? This might sound too crazy to dream about but that Elon musk guy can make anything possible.

That's something we should not allow a meme coin overtaking the original Cryptocurrency, Ethereum was a big threat to Bitcoin dominance and I guess still is but the community is moving to support Bitcoin because it's the real decentralized and deflationary coin, Elon Musk will try to do that because he now owns Twitter but the community is strong enough to counter that.
Bitcoin will still remain the number one cryptocurrency in the market for many years to come.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: step.app on: May 08, 2022, 01:34:41 PM
I have seen a lot of step or running apps now and I got curious about it, I will try this application and try to invest a little I think this app will be the next hype. I think you can buy AVAX through exchange or try to use Sideshift.ai to exchange your any cryptocurrency you have to AVAX.

It's on a huge hype people are talking about this new trend, I remember just last year we only have 2 or three play to earn projects now it has become additional category in the Coinmarketcap, but not all trends are profitable and worth investing in
I am into 6 Play to earn projects and I still have not made a profit I'm down 60% on this PVE and looking to cut my losses if the market improves, but it's been a long wait, I'm getting very impatient but I have to extend my patient I still believe that I can exist with profit.
So be careful when investing in a project that looks like a new trend.
195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: May 08, 2022, 11:54:48 AM
This is the first I've seen something like this during my long time participating in a boxing poll here

Quote
George Kambosos vs Devin Haney
George Kambosos   - 13 (50%)
Devin Haney   - 13 (50%)
Total Voters: 26

It's still over a month but will this stay the community is divided on who is the favorite come fight night and if we see something similar like this on bookies it's going to be a very interesting fight.
My sentimental favorite is Kambosos but Haney is preferable to win if I will go technical details on the style of both fighters.

This is one of the rare predictions here and you can expect that this is not a one-sided fight like we used to see because both of those guys are strong and power punchers that can surprise everyone with their boxing skills and it will be an unforgettable performance and hope that no one will get injured just before the fight because we all expected a total clash in the middle of the ring without hesitations. If that's the case, then the fight won't gonna reach the official's score cards.

Well recently almost all of us voted for Canelo to win the match against Bivol, but obviously we have not the results and it was an upset.

But in this poll, community is divided, although Haney is the favorite, yet many thinks that Kambosos will win because of his recent performance against Teo Lopez. So we will see then, if Kambosos is the underdog as per bookies will pull another upset win.
The Canelo - Bivol fight changes our perception it goes on the preparation of the fighter, on this fight, there will be no heavy favorite only a slight favorite, although I like Haney's chances but after what I've seen in Canelo fight, upsets can happen especially
if the fighter is a champion, undefeated and dedicated.
I followed Kambosos page and you should all see how he trained for his up-and-coming fight he is so serious in his fight against Haney, how can you not like this guy.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am curious about bounties on: May 08, 2022, 09:55:50 AM
I am looking to try out a bounty campaign using signature but I don't see anyone worth my time right now, I do have a question about this, does it make more sense to promote projects that are already trading over those that are not listed on exchange yet?

When I was into signature bounty I prioritize bounties where the token is already tradeable in the market if there aren't any and there's no good signature campaign to join I just take my time and wait for the better ones.

The worse is campaigning on a project that turns out to be a scam or a project where you receive your share after many months when the token has already lost its value.
A signature bounty campaign is like a box of chocolate you never know what you're going to get.
197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: May 08, 2022, 08:45:45 AM
I never expect the outcome of the fight. It seems to me that Canelo has an off-night. Not to make excuses though, Bivol is really good and not overrated. But something is missing on Canelo, timing is off, didn't see the punch out put and was never in the fight from the first round.

I don't think a boxer as great as Canelo can't have an off night he's been doing this for many years already, it's just that Bivol has a counter on his every move do a replay, and check every Canelo move, he is trying to bait Bivol just like he did on so many of his fight, but Bivol has a different game plan, Canelo has given Bivol a lot of body shots so many of these are blocks, and this frustrate him.
Golovkin will have insight on this fight when they fought, I have doubt now if Canelo will take Golovkin immediately he will have to take other middleweight fighters to get his confidence back.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: May 08, 2022, 04:46:44 AM
Wow, this is a huge upset it's almost a complete shut out I have 8 4 rounds in favor of Bivol, Bivol totally dominated him he frustrate Canelo a lot by blocking his punches and going toe to toe against Canelo, I wonder if the GGG fight will still push through, hats off to Bivol he prepares really for this fight.
Glad that all the judges play it fairly not because Canelo is a huge superstar.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler turns 60 pence bet into £157,865.59 on: May 07, 2022, 11:32:52 PM
some people are calling this hit lucky, but it's not possible for him to be lucky, the guy must be someone who analyzes the games very well, he didn't choose games at random and won, I don't believe he would have done that and if he had done it random selection of games without doing any analysis of the game he would not have hit the games and won the bet, at least I say that because I like to make multi bets and from what I see in multi bets there is no such thing as luck, the person needs to analyze the games and choose the games that have the highest chance of hitting to be in the multi bet. congrats to this guy who hit all these games

Then it's possible that he can hit another jackpot again if he has great analysis and insight he can do it over and over again he can be a god of gambling if he can repeat that peat again, I believe luck also has a factor on his winning, I hope they interview the guy so we can have an insight on how he won that jackpot.
200  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mistake I made till now investing on crypto projects. on: May 07, 2022, 10:14:20 PM
Very informative post a newcomer getting some new messages from your post.just want to say before investing we should make justify.

This post was actually for newcomers who invest blindly ignoring many facts. Many of them came from the stock and forex market and they think this is the same here too. There are so many things that need to keep in mind when investing in a crypto project and I think I have mentioned most of them. If you face anything new which is not mentioned in the OP then mention it will add the end of my post.

Not only for newcomers there are still people in the Crypto space with years of experience still fall into poor projects because of not checking on what's on you've posted, I think you covered everything, sometimes we forgot the basics because of the hype we become blinded by the hype and FOMO we know there's a risk but we prefer to proceed to hope to make a profit and exit until we realize that it's too late to exit and we become bagholders of useless tokens.
