I suggest you use port forwarding to get more connections then 8. This will decrease latency to the netwerk and thus the amount of orphans mined.
How can I do this?

Dude, The Cpu does other things for your computer also. Just running the command reduces your hashrate.
Ah I see. Well if my client is mining, should I be seeing stuff under transactions? Also it says it's only connected to 7-8 active connections, is that enough?

Yeah so I've tried to start mining on your pool, but the problem is that finding the url and port for LTC is damn near impossible. Either you've hidden it incredibly or it just isn't listed.
EDIT: Oh I've found it, the url is listed on the setup page (stratum+tcp://multipool.in) and the ports are in the chart at the top right, why not just make it simple and list them on the home page rather than making people go on a search for them?
I will add them to the homepage. Thanks for the suggestion Thanks, even better would be something like "Point your miners to the following URLs: LTC stratum+tcp://multipool.in:3334 ... and so on, so people can directly copy that line to their miners.

Uhhh, not sure if I'm doing this right. I have the shortcut on my desktop with the target set as
D:\YAC\yacoin-qt.exe -gen -addnode=82.211.30.212 -addnode=76.115.8.101 -addnode=192.168.1.237 -addnode=54.217.249.235 -addnode=54.217.249.230 -addnode=54.217.249.229 -addnode=54.217.249.139 -addnode=54.217.249.230
When I use the shortcut it opens and the client is still synchronizing blocks, but when I go to the console and type gethashespersec I get a number between 40000 and 140000 for a few minutes, then it goes to 0. What am I doing wrong? I'm not getting anything under transactions.
EDIT: Uhm, so the blockchain has been synchronized, and I'm getting hashes, but there's nothing under transactions.... am I just unlucky?

I think the most important part is having something unique. While Litecoin may not have been the first scrypt coin (I believe there may have been one other before it), it is the most popular scrypt coin by far, so in essence its "unique" aspect is being scrypt.
From there, what does your coin bring? What new addition or feature is included that makes it different from Bitcoin or Litecoin? Sure, your coin may be adopted and somewhat successful short-term without a unique addition, but if you hope to make a long-lasting altcoin, you should include something original.

You going to give more info than that? You haven't said anything about the transaction...

Scammer forum? Nope...but I will!
Clue4
DO NOT TRUST CLUE 4!
Eternally, a piece of shit. Rot in hell you fuck.
Clue4 has already been identified as a piece-of-shit scammer before ( here's a scammer list). While I'd like to hope that this scumbag loses everything, the sad fact is that he's probably made plenty from trusting people such as yourself.

And you would be surprised how many people might actually NEED that time to test their miners. I always see the same thing at EVERY coin release, the coin comes out, people start mining it and a couple thousand blocks in people start asking "how do I solo mine, I have never been able to figure out solo mining for any coin" or "this is my first time mining a coin, how do I set this up". This is my main concern, I want everyone to have the same equal chance to start earning rewards at the same time (even if they need help getting set-up).
Could you explain how to solo mine? I've never been able to get it running before.

Dude, you and your pre-mining friends just had 10 posts removed from the alt coin forum for spamming mincoin, users are calling you out and you got caught red handed planning and slandering people on BTC-E and your own scam-exchange. I think people can draw their own conclusions about your 'coin' and the people behind it.
Don't lump me in with the trolls just posting crap to make MNC, I didn't do that. What I'm doing is lumping *YOU* in with the idiot trolls who repost bullshit about Mincoin when you seem to know nothing. So post relevant facts or shut that ugly mouth of yours. Bud, I'm not even posting anything about mincoin. I really don't care about it. All I'm posting is that you (along with a few others) are being paid by mxcnow.com to promote MNC on this forum.

WARNING: The site posted by the OP has been paying people to spam posts on this forum to promote mincoin.
The scumbags I've seen that have been paid by the site are DigitalCurrencyConsultant, thundertoe, and manface, though I'm sure there are more.

Agreed x1000 (or, you know, people could stop making a new coin every day).

For some reason I'm getting bursts of accepted shares. Like I'll get nothing for 30 seconds then like 4-8 will be accept at the same second.

Getting "pool 0 JSON stratum auth failed: (null)" with cgminer. I've double checked the info in the config.

Hey all, I appreciate you all letting me know when you have issues. I'm aware of the disconnects, there's been a DDoS against the pool for almost 24 hours at this point. I'm working with my provider to mitigate as much as possible, within budget. I apologize for the aggravation disconnects can cause. I will be out of town this weekend, and won't be online as much. I will be checking email regularly ( contact@featherpool.com), and trying to get in on IRC when I can, so please feel free to contact me there. I will return on Wednesday, May 8th. I will be working on the server as time permits, and I look forward to getting things running smoothly. Thanks for mining on featherpool! Oh - one more thing. I've been asked several times in IRC what my motivation behind running this pool is. I want to learn more about how cryptocoin pooled mining works, so I set up a pool. I'm footing the bill for the server myself, as I enjoy learning new things, and it's quite rewarding when a system as complex as a mining pool works. As I stated in the original post, the pool is a 0% fee. It may, at some point, switch to a low fee (perhaps 1%), but for now I have no plans of adding a fee. If I do, I will let everyone know in advance (at least 1 week notice). I want to thank the miners on the pool who have opted to donate a portion of their mining to the pool, as every little bit helps pay for the server. Thanks for all your work. I'll pledge to up my donation from my usual 1% to 3% for a week when you fix the issues (if that's incentive for you )
