181  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: March 03, 2017, 12:39:24 PM
I think we've had this discussion before, but it was a while back.  I personally prefer a shotgun for home defense (and investigating issues on my property be they human, sub-human, or animal), but one can have both.

In this case, it was a struggle to get the family member to have anything at all.  The anti-gun propaganda strongly effects a lot of people.  A small firearm is a good first step and I hope that once the shame and guilt of being a gun owner subsides there will be upgrades in the mix.  Additionally, the people who need guns the most tend to be those who are the least physically capable of dealing with their operation because the scumbags who are a threat target them specifically.

The primary load I choose for my shotgun(s) are 00-buck and slugs.  This in case I need to defend against bears or engine blocks.  I personally don't have much of an issue with the recoil but everyone is built differently.

Camera technology is increasing rapidly.  I just put some effort into hooking everything into zoneminder.  There is a fair chance that by the time an attacker and I meet I will have been watching them for 15 minutes or so and will have selected the proper mix of weapons, but this is due to the layout of my property as much as anything.

Sounds good! You've clearly thought plenty about these things and have a firm grasp on the subject. Also, I agree, baby steps are better than no steps at all.

If we did discuss this before, I may even have completely changed direction since then! I don't remember exactly when I decided that a shotgun was the best fit for my home defense needs. I did change pistol calibers at one point in my journey.

I just wanted to add my two cents (probably more for the audience's benefit than yours).
For the protection of their property and the territory, home or something like that, really shotgun fit better the rest of the weapons. Of course this is the last degree of self-defense. More would not hurt to do surveillance. But to carry a gun on the street already does not seem normal. There are other ways to protect yourself. While it is true on the street more risk to the life, than at home.
You ever shot a shotgun? I am sure that there. Home-defense aimed at preventing a robbery, and not the destruction of your home. Besides injuries from a shotgun causing more serious injuries and can lead to death. I don't consider the shotgun an acceptable weapon for self-defense of habitation.

pornography is invented by the jews to poison a society against itself, the chinese wisely wish to preserve the moral character and traditions of their nature, good for them
Do not confuse Chinese people and the Chinese government. There really is a Communist government in which there are 70-80 year old men with the mentality of the 50s. In the days of their youth it was. I am sure that with time everything will fall into place.
183  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is meant by Third eye? Does it really open? on: March 02, 2017, 12:56:22 PM
My third eye opens on a daily basis. Mostly in the morning, shortly after waking up. It seems my third eye secretes some sort of brown substance with a penetrative smell. Am I ascending into a higher dimension?
If you consider that eyes are on the head where the person thinks that I was even afraid to imagine what you think when you see my third eye. You probably thought this subject when I wrote this post.
184  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 100% water-powered car on: March 02, 2017, 12:52:33 PM
really? can send the link to me Huh?
but how can there can transfer to the power to let the car move?Huh?

This is a fairly old story. Is proven that it is not possible to build the engine on this technology. The amount of energy to split water into hydrogen and oxygen exceeds the energy which in this case stands out. All the videos on the Internet is fake order to lure unsuspecting citizens money.

But we also need to stay updated about events/news in every second of our lives now.

Most of the recent jobs are demanding people like that. If you are not aware of the recent news you can easily become ignorant/obsolete in a matter of seconds.

That's not different with the kids tbh.

No more time left to play with friends, riding a bike or playing basketball. If you want to enter a good college, you have to work your ass off. And an ipad is the fastest way to do so. (that's if unless your father is rich ofc)

Playing stupid shit on your ipad is definitely moronic on the other hand. Go walk on the street instead of doing so. It is healthier.
It is healthier only if you live near the forest. In the cities the air is that it is not known that it is better to stay at home or close to home. You have seen what is happening on the streets of Beijing?
186  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Isn't Islam a religion of hate and violence, not peace and love? on: March 01, 2017, 03:22:49 PM
Any religion teach people to do good things not bad.. is human being only not the religion
How did you feel about the fact that in Muslim countries women are stoned to death or thieves cut off their hands or are forced to walk in a burqa? And there are many such examples.
187  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump Is Damaging Press Freedom in the U.S. and Abroad on: February 27, 2017, 03:23:37 PM
The MSM has completely discredited themselves to the majority of Americans and the world. There is a reason why they have a historically low approval rating. They went 100% in the tank for Hillary and lost big time. They are still in war mode and they need to realize that they need to come back to reality. They lost. Move on, or they risk completely discrediting themselves.

You can't blame Trump for attempting to strike back against they completely biased, globalist stooges.

Actually, this problem should be approached comprehensively. I wouldn't deny an interest in the victory of Trump, but at the same time we should not exaggerate the Russian track. I think that Russia probably has an impact on the environment than Trump himself. In any case, Russia is and always will be an enemy of America.
188  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nazi New World Order on: February 27, 2017, 03:16:12 PM
I'm not sure that all media is controlled by anti-Semites. In fact, the world's finances are controlled by Jews, on the contrary, and where there is money and media. Whatever quarrel with Israel the Americans is not beneficial because it is their main ally in the middle East.
189  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The end of Western civilization on: February 26, 2017, 06:27:09 PM
But I do Muslims resemble locusts. They crowd settled in all civilized countries and begin to impose their own rules. They do not work and just live on benefits and also children each year give birth.

191  Local / Новости / Re: Китайские майнеры Bitcoin перебираются в провиl on: February 25, 2017, 03:23:16 PM
Есть хороший способ воровать электроэнергию под высоковольтными линиями. Этот способ уже был опробован на севере России. Думаю могут появиться последователи только не китайские, а русские.
192  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term OIL on: February 25, 2017, 03:16:50 PM
OPEC's pledges to stick to allocations might not have that much impact, if the US boosts output.
The price seems to be dropping now.
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-global-oil-idUSKBN163059

Why should Americans reduce oil prices if they want to sell their oil? I think that the decline in oil prices may occur if you remove the sanctions against Iran, but Trump obviously doesn't want it.
193  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: February 24, 2017, 04:15:28 PM
Today bitcoin is a very serious situation. Many countries have already banned cryptocurrency. But we still hope that bitcoin will take a leading position in the financial world. While there is no international recognition, it will be seen.
btw which countries that forbid the use bitcoin? I think the government began to fear about the potential bitcoin Lol
but it will not make bitcoin be dead. bitcoin development will continue to run
In fact, a total ban of bitcoins almost anywhere in the world. As a rule there is a ban for all banks to maintain payments in bitcoin. The problem is that the authorities do not consider bitcoin a currency and therefore can't apply the real punishment.

С такими советами которые он дает - какая разница где он пишет, все равно его читать только время зря тратить  Wink
Жаль что его нельзя забанить везде. Такие типы распространяют идеи властей с целью проверить реакцию общества. Это не просто идиот. Надеюсь в России до этого не дойдет, а страничку он может и новую создать.
195  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Dangerous country on: February 22, 2017, 12:24:58 PM
I've never been to Japan, but I really want. This is one of the most expensive countries and therefore I can't afford a trip to this country. However, I don't quite agree with you that the Japanese do not eat that in Europe and the United States is unacceptable. They eat dolphins and whales. For this reason, there is very often skirmishes with the green party.

Hmm.... ever heard of an European country called Iceland? Whale meat was one of the staple foods in their diet. Even now, they hunt whales and eat them (although on a reduced scale). Faroe Islands is another country where you will get dishes made out of whale meat in the restaurants. The Norwegians also used to eat whale meat, but they no longer do.

Whale hunting is now already being banned around the globe due to the scarce number of whales and they are considered endangered species. Unlike other sea creatures they can just make one offspring for how many years and by killing one whale will stop the whole generation of whale offsprings. If whale hunting will not be stopped then soon whale will be extinct. We can now see that Iceland and other countries are now regulating whale hunting in order to preserve them.
As far as I know, the Japanese have not joined the ban of whaling. I feel sorry for these animals. They are pretty smart. Hunting them reminds me of the hunt for the wild tribes in the Amazon or in Australia. I saw the horrible footage of the killing of the Japanese dolphins. The males closed females, and rushed to the harpoons. It seems to me that hunters are not people, they are animals and so they, too, can hunt.
196  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why bitcoins illegal ???? on: February 22, 2017, 12:17:40 PM
Yeah. That's why the states do not like bitcoin. Because they can not get tax from the money earned with bitcoin. Only when they are converted into cash and transferred to the bank account.

But in the future we can use bitcoin without converting it to money. Then they will not be able to follow in any way.

Even if you use Bitcoins directly (for supermarket purchases, utility bills, buying gasoline.etc), it can be taxed. The government can just ask the retail chain to impose a surcharge on the Bitcoin payments. So if you are paying with BTC, there will be a 2% or 3% surcharge, and this amount will go to the government as tax.
In any case, the 2-3% is less than to pay the taxes in full. I am sure that the government while turning a blind eye is not the use of bitcoins because the volume of use as not affect the economy. While using bitcoins is profitable only to the exchangers.
197  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do you think Trumps supporters still love him? on: February 22, 2017, 12:11:12 PM
The really desperate people is the one who hate Trump, they lost so much...................

The problem is that they never expected Trump to win (or Hitlery to lose). Trump's victory came as a shock (especially his victories in the blue leaning states such as Wisconsin and Michigan) to these people and they are unable to fathom it even now. But that is what happens with the elections. There can only be one winner.
It seems to me that those who voted did not expect that he will win. Not all share his views. Now part of his voters regret that he won. This is evidenced by the steadily increasing number of dissatisfied with his policy. And all the scandals surrounding his entourage and Russia?
