Just because they are stupid AND desperate...

They're so desperate for something to change and push the world in the right direction and so tired of the establishment that they would take anything that seems a bit different.

That's a very valid sentiment and one that Donny is riding in an expert manner.

That's why it's hard to have much respect for the democrats for propping up a tired zombie as his rival. Anyone else with a little spark and some originality would've creamed him.

Recent article on CNN went forward and was asking why do you think Trumps base / his supporters still support him even after all the controversies that he's went through within his campaign and his presidency.

I'm going to start off and say that Trumps supporters love him based on the simple fact that he gets shit down and he's fulfilling the promises that he made to them, this is something that they believed in and they wanted. They wanted change and that's what he's giving them. Trump is the grenade that the middle class is throwing into Washington and they're going to see change, immense change.

Here's the article by the way - http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/19/opinions/why-trump-supporters-love-him-not-the-media-stanley/index.html

Well the people that support trumps has always love trump when he was a business man and you can't easily trust someone with that attitude i think trump payed them Cheesy or they just don't know where to love but to trump only but to the good part of trump he always mark his word to the people that supports him and his one tough guy and people don't really think his a corrupt guy because he has a business and he won't get money from the people in the United States
I'm not from America so can't say anything about the bad Trump the good or the case of the Americans and let them decide. I will say that the fact that he was a businessman does not mean that it does not need the money.

I think the problem here is about ''normalization''. Trump has 40 years of public exposure as ''the middleman billionaire'', and people relate to that. When someone asks him how did he get his view on something and he answers ''I saw it in the news'', it feels natural, and with the resentment towards politicians going around, it's even funny to have a President behaving like that.
Plus, it's a matter of politically correctly news broadcasting about a politically unfair person. It's far easier to capture people if you can answer every question with ''the media are crooked'' and they can't just answer, ''you're the moron here''.

Trump supporters and voters mostly was protest voters.
They voted against political establishment, so Trump was perfect choice for them.
They lost faith and trust in traditional politicians and wanted radical change.
Trump was obvious choice.
They also don't trust traditional media or institutions and believe everything Trump says.
So, of course that they still love him.
It's question how long long they will have faith in Trump?

Evidence to the contrary.

But what if such actions Trump on the contrary will lead to even worse results? It seems to me that in politics such as Trump can only hurt. He is a businessman and does not understand that politics is not business and one spoken word can have consequences in a few years.

Evidence to the contrary.

All other republican candidates...

And Donald had nothing that any of the others had, the alleged 'ear of the people'. He was so out there compared to any of the others that it's almost as if they were in separate contests.

Hillary was no different to any of the other Republicans with the addition of a ton of baggage.

Even is that something is a big fatty billionaire lying so much it seems like he wants to establish a new Guinness record... Or maybe he's dumb as fuck, difficult to know if he pretends or if he's really stupid.

Trump is a businessman and he is shrewd. He knows how to create jobs, while making profit for the American corporations. I don't think he can be any worse than the disaster called Barack Hussein Obama.

trump promise to his supporters that he will bring terrorism to an end in united states of America and immediately close and band some Muslim countries from entry united states of America as he promised during his campaign will ever make his supporter to love him. Trump is in God agenda and that is what is important to me.

The really desperate people is the one who hate Trump, they lost so much...................

The problem is that they never expected Trump to win (or Hitlery to lose). Trump's victory came as a shock (especially his victories in the blue leaning states such as Wisconsin and Michigan) to these people and they are unable to fathom it even now. But that is what happens with the elections. There can only be one winner.

It seems to me that those who voted did not expect that he will win. Not all share his views. Now part of his voters regret that he won. This is evidenced by the steadily increasing number of dissatisfied with his policy. And all the scandals surrounding his entourage and Russia?

That's why it is wrong to vote for a 3rd party such as the Libertarian candidate.

Well i agree. These supporters were with trump from the beginning and there's pretty much no reason for them not to support him because he's exactly doing what he promised them during the campaign period. The controversies that surround trump today should have been expected the moment he won the presidency. And i think we'll be seeing a lot more of this, judging by how he thinks and the decisions he makes and also i expect his followers would cheer for every one of those decisions

LOL, yeah.  It's like nobody expected him to win, but then when he did win, nobody expected him to actually fulfill his promises.  Because politicians don't.

I don't know how we can expect change for the better with such a sharp policy change. Generally very bad to live in an era of change. It seems to me that if Trump really will fulfill all what he promised that America will cease to exist as the world leader, and this in turn will lead to the weakening economy and growing discontent among the population.

I'm not American and did not vote for Trump. But I respect him for what he is trying to fulfill his promises. This is now a rarity. Another thing is that I don't agree that his ideas are somehow unable to improve the lives of ordinary Americans. Rather the opposite, but it's up to the Americans.
