181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with china connection ! on: August 17, 2017, 12:04:25 AM
You think that every Chinese coin will be big and get pumped?

He probably thinks in this way, but this is so incorrect. Yes, Chinese like manipulative price movements, yet they don't like every Chinese or Assian coin. They pick special ones which are fitting best in their purpose.

182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why owning 1 BTC becomes harder everyday??? on: August 16, 2017, 11:20:22 PM
Wow, bitcoin price is increasing everyday at lightening speed!

Are you not afraid someday 1 bitcoin will become currency for the rich dudes?

I know we all want to buy and save more bitcoins in pieces, but the way bitcoin price is going are we really going to keep up?

Edit: I'm talking about owning BTC1 or BTC2... I know people can buy satoshis and save in their wallets.

What do you think, guys?

There are many reasons behind this to happen. The demand to bitcoin is the natural reason of the sharp price rise. Another thing is that there is manipulative price actions done by the bitcoin whales. They can make bitcoin go up anytime they want.

I fear that it will be impossible to own 1 bitcoin in the near future, if we're talking about buying it with fiat currency.

BoXXoB, May I know if I was accepted to the signature bounty campaign?  Smiley
184  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should you HODL btc beyond 3500$ ? on: August 05, 2017, 05:36:30 PM
The question is not easy to explain but has got intutive message. Would you sell your BTC @ 3500$ and wait for btc to come back @ 2800$ and buy again back with some profit?

www.preev.com

What are your Plans and how you will execute them?

It's totally up to you investment strategy. If you're a real long term investor, $3500 does not mean anything for you. You should aim for $10,000 at least to implement an exit plan.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you plan to quit the altcoin world? on: August 02, 2017, 07:00:51 PM
Have you ever thought about quitting this completely? My friend just bought some Monero and BTC and he said NO! Screw the altcoin guys! I'll work and relax and check back yearly. Cool dude. Needless to say he made more than 90% of daily traders in the year
No I do not have any plan to quit for altcoin trading , this altcoins give much higher profit than trading btc to Fiat as long as I am still earning profit in altcoin I don't see any reason for me to quit. I'm Holding few altcoin right now and waiting for the pump hopefully this year.

I will never leave altcoin world. I'm planning to diversify my capital into different altcoins together with bitcoin. This way will be more safe.
186  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I educate myself on bitcoin for investing? on: August 01, 2017, 12:08:47 AM

Bitcointalk is a fantastic source for news and updates on investing in cryptocurrency in general. Admitedly there is plenty of misinformation and rubbish posted too, but with time and practice you can tell what is real and helpful from crap.

Rather than everythin, I strongly believe that observing the hard fork situation and taking lessons from the action would be the best education for a beginner cryptocurrency trader. This happens once in a while only.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Emergency on: July 31, 2017, 11:02:11 PM
All of exchanges that i am using, closed their bitcoin wallet for deposit and withdrawal. Some of them want to take my BTC and give me BCC instead. This is certainty and they said on news.

BCC's value is 0.1 BTC at now.

Which exchanges are doing that? I don't think any services announced they are replacing BTC with BCC.

I believe some exchanges (Kraken, Bitfinex, several Chinese exchanges) will be crediting BCC to BTC holders in addition to there BTC holdings, and may open markets for the new coin. But from everything I've read (and aside from the regular counterparty risk you always have to be careful with), all the exchanges are either ignoring BCC or giving it to their users on top of their current holdings.

I am using 7 exchanges right now.
Yes, Yobit replaced my almost 1.65 BTC with BCC. do you say yobit did scam me?

I don't want this incident happen to me tomorrow on other exchanges. i should exchanges my BTC very fast to LTC or ETH. am i right?

Nobody replaces your BTC with BCC. I've never heard this from anybody else in the forum. If they support BCC, they provide you BCC in 1:1 ratio of the BTC you hold there. Nobody replaced your BTC by turning them into BCC automatically.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain (FULL) on: July 31, 2017, 10:33:11 PM
Where the first time dimcoin can be traded when ICO ends ?

most of the time, the devs cannot confirm on WHEN their coin will be listed on exchanges, it is up to the exchange admins if they want to list the coin and when they will list it. so we just have to wait for the announcement about it

What do you think is better: listing  on exchanges when there is something real - or immediately after ISO. IF immediately after ISO - the price will definitely be dumped ... And will investors benefit from this? Better -  beta release first  - and then - exchanges.
I think it is always better to get on exchanges naturally rather than paying to get listed.

I think, we can start to talk about exchange only after ICO will be finished, it's to early for listing.
Sure that we will see DIMCOIN on Livecoin and Bittrex.

I'm not interested in livecoin exchange web site. What is the source for Bittrex? If we see dimcoin on bittrex, I'm gonna buy some more. Coins locate d on bittrex generally perform much better than others.
189  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: July 31, 2017, 09:31:02 PM
yes. Bitcoin can reduce a little unemployment. From which doesnt produce to be produces.
I think most of the unemployment is in underdeveloped countries and I think suh countires do not have any idea about bitoin therefore I think it is difficult to reduce unemplyoemt thorugh bitcoin.

I disagree with you. You can simply check Spain, Portugal and Greece to see how high unemployment rate they currently have. They're normally not considered as underdeveloped countries. I think bitcoin directly causes unemployment, because some people quit their job since they have better income with bitcoin.

191  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: July 31, 2017, 06:37:15 PM
Bitcoin will slowly and gradually be start accepted across globally and many more countries will follow the Japan to start legalizing and accepting it . This will help the country economy, growth and job employment too as many youngsters can do full time job in bitcoin or related to it.
I think the reason why these few countries accepted Bitcoin as their currency is that they wanted to take that first step in embracing the Digital Technology. They are also aware of what will come in the future. Therefore they already implemented this to their country as soon as possible, to become a well developed country when it comes to digital economic status.

Japan, South Korea and Australia are the good countries in terms of bitcoin embracing. This is a snowball. More countires accept it, more global bitcoin becomes.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Building an alt portfolio on: July 31, 2017, 05:54:47 PM
I think you should add Waves to your list.
Waves has a potential to replace Eth.  Smiley
Even if it doesn't, WAVES is healthy competition. Also STRATIS is good. Also look into UBIQ, BITBAY, LBRY, and LISK

Waves doesn't have to replace ethereum, I believe. If waves can be able to compete with ethereum, this will make its price x100 easily. Stratis is also promising as you mentioned. Lisk, I would say maybe. Etc can be bought for long term additionally.
193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum ?, on: July 31, 2017, 12:52:26 AM
Bitcoin and ethereum is both good investment and for sure if you have that two altcoins and you hold that for few years you can earn a lot of profit . Investing in bitcoin and ethereum is a good option. Dont choose only one its better to invest in this two coin . Two heads are better than one thats what other people said. But it depends to you what coin do you think gives you high profit in the future.
I agree with you . Having both is a good action, we can get security when one of the coins has decreased in price. We can also have the opportunity to benefit from bitcoin and etherum, both of which are the most popular digital currencies today.

Yeah, in the exchange it's no good to have only one type coins. If we only hold bitcoin, we miss the benefits of ethereum. While we hold only ethereum, we miss the good things from bitcoin. That's why we need to create a balance between different coins to have the stability for our capital.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Spectiv: DECENTRALIZED VIRTUAL REALITY | ATTENTION MARKETS TOKEN 🎥 on: July 30, 2017, 11:27:41 PM
Guys, I have a question for the crowdsale of Spectiv VR project. When is the exact date of the start of the ICO? They had said that they postponed the ICO and they would decide the exact date later on, hadn't they?

Then the web site is counting it down, saying 14 days left to start. What is the correct information for the date? Thank you. I want to participate.
195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value prediction end of July on: July 29, 2017, 11:51:36 PM
bitcoin could not get above 2900 usd. it seems like a double top formation if you look at the charts. i am expection another dump to 2200s before 1 august. we will see what is next then.
The resistance line ($3000) and support line (under $2000) of Bitcoin are very strong and not easy break them. With the news BIP91 helps Bitcoin avoid the fork in August 1st make the price of Bitcoin recovery very fast after crash from $1800 to $2900 lol! But if in next time BIP91 lock-in failure, what will happen?

It should be about 2700 dollars at the end of july, I guess. I don't think it can exceed the resistance line located at 3000 dollars.
196  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: July 29, 2017, 11:18:41 PM
Bitcoin will never die! It is here to stay and it already changed the world. Not only the internet. I dream of a future were the price of USD is measured in BTC. Not the other way around.

If this is the dead phase of bitcoin then what if we be alive? Do we see $50,000 before 2018?

These rumors will never stop and the holders will never care about them.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: DENT Bounty Program on: July 26, 2017, 11:33:15 PM
I want to ask manager ,what if i made more than 50 post since the day i joined in this campaign and then suddenly some of my old post maybe last years post were deleted.

If you check the spreadsheet, we are manually checking the post, if you made 50 post through out the campaign then you need not to worry. But if you failed to then that would be a problem Wink.  If you back read, I already stated that we are aware of the pruning so we are not relying on the initial and last post but we are more strict now since we are not counting post that are considered burst post (posting less than 6 min. after your last post)

So it is not nice surprise for me.. I wrote more than 50 posts - around 52-53.. i'm not sure. But as i was checking my history, around 4-5 posts was posted 4-5 minutes after my last post Sad Is it mean that i'm out?
I understand that rules are rules, but who and when said that burst post is " posting less than 6 min. after your last post " ?
Why not 4 minutes?
And why it was not announced at the beginning? (i mean information about this 6 min spread)

Mate are you reading what's written by the manager? Why you make stressed out yourself? The manager said as long as you made 50 or more posts, you're good to be eligible. Don't panic if you somehow completed 50 or 50+ posts during the bounty period.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Spectiv: DECENTRALIZED VIRTUAL REALITY | ATTENTION MARKETS TOKEN 🎥 on: July 25, 2017, 05:13:49 PM
Will there be another ICO for the Specs token or we will only be able to buy them on the Spectiv platform?

What do you mean another ico? The ico has not started yet, and it will be possibly on mid september 2017 as far as I know. We will buy tokens during spectiv VR ico.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you all think about Waves coin? on: July 25, 2017, 04:08:44 PM
Where you will see waves coin in another 1 year from now or is it worth to hold for long term?
waves is better than tokens. Waves is cryptocurrency. It has own network. Waves can also create smart contract like etherium. I think waves is copy of etherium. It will be the next etherium in the near future. The tokens can be exchanged via dex, dex is decenteralized exchanger via waves wallet. You don't have to register to exchanger to convert your tokens or bitcoin with waves. Seem promising in the future.

Waves has too many problems and they couldn't fix those problems. For example some projects making their ico with waves, but waves does not even have a ethereum gateway.

I don't hold waves anymore.
200  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: July 25, 2017, 03:53:53 PM
crypto exchanges are even worse though
Why it is a worse? Kindly I would suggest you explain the things here that people can get easily. So first of all I will tell you that. Crypto exchanges are why hard and worse for people just because high fees on that. But bitcoin is improving that side that's why they are working on SegWit2x services that they will provide you fast transaction and less fees.

Crypto exchanges are worse because:
They get hacked.
They get "hacked" by their owners.
They evaporate with all your funds.
You have no guarantee for your deposits by a third party.
They change fees that rival banks.
They manipulate and halt trading when they desire.

I personally don't like conventional banking system, they exploit us very much but what you said is true. Crypto exchanges are even worse than conventional banks. Our assets are all under danger.
