1801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one makes sense on: November 15, 2019, 01:12:15 PM
Which one should come first? better to get through bounty before ICO/IEO fund raising or better to run bounty while fundraising is ongoing... Suggestion need
I think its better to run a bounty at same time run also a fundraising campaign, in order to maximized the project's exposure and choose an ICO first, and second was IEO for the listing preparation but just choose a better exchange platform to run and IEO to unleashed the projects full potentials in the short term and may drive it for the long run.

1802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Prove that you shouldn't rely on icobench and others on: November 15, 2019, 12:58:29 PM
This is a warning to all newbies that seek help from ico rating websites when they are looking for projects to invest money on..

Facts
- You have good money to pay? you will get good rating on the platform, this is the way of ico rating websites
- Good projects can get bad rating on them, and that doesn't mean they are bad project..

For example, you must have been hearing about how successful gowithmi project was right? check out the rating on icobench using the link below.

https://icobench.com/ico/gowithmi

The score is 3.3 where as projects that have better rating turned scam as well, all i am saying is its better to rely more on your own research and not rating.
That's true and your observation is correct. if you want to invest in any ICO's don't just solely rely on those so called ICO rating website. some of it is not worthy to trust, I was personally experience it on the one project that i was participated during an ICO. it was mark that "team was KYC already" that's why its getting high ratings but it turns into an exit scam. for the better lets try our own instinct accompanied with our own knowledge i think it maybe more positive in results.
1803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Central Bank Cryptocurrencies Are Pointless, Says Ex-Federal Reserve Chairman on: November 14, 2019, 11:33:20 AM
I think it's not pointless if the Central Banks are creating cryptocurrencies that base in Blockchain, Maybe it can be helpful to drive adoption since cryptocurrencies was promoted by the government itself. The innovation that started by cryptocurrencies will be published if every countries in the world will make there own Blockchain base cryptocurrency the governance is not an issue here maybe it was centralized or decentralized form.
1804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt-coins with practical use on: November 14, 2019, 11:18:58 AM
ETH, Monero, Siacoin, IOTA, Golem, ripple are some of the well known coins which have a practical use. PERL coin came up with a good practice, the coin became opacity coin. What are the remaining alt-coins which have practical usage?
Don't forget to add Stellar's (XLM), for more faster payment solution and lesser fees, also COTI for Universal Payment Solution, I think many more altcoins has also a practical use case its just need a little bit study for its primary function to determined if it was applicable with our own uses.
1805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Joseph Lubin Optimistic about Ethereum to work with China's crypto on: November 13, 2019, 02:58:02 PM
Joseph Lubin, the author of Consensys is idealistic about grasping the Chinese crypto ecosystem as he is confident that China’s Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) will allow the interoperability with open blockchains which would likewise incorporate Ethereum.

In his meeting with Forbes Joseph expressed that he is cheerful to interoperate with it once CBEC opens itself to the open blockchain, however, he likewise utilizes ‘’I don’t know’’ which shows a shortage of conviction in the announcement made

‘’I assume it is going to be exactly what Chinese leadership thinks is most beneficial to the Chinese leadership. Hopefully, that’s also open and we can interoperate with it, but I don’t know.’’

Source: TheCoinRepublic

If that's the case Ethereum will be the next big thing aside from its number 2 current position base on market cap. I was a little bit exited about these chinese cryptocurrency CBDC. on how it was function as a cryptocurrency, is it fast, or how it will react to the existing crypto market, is it a kind of a stablecoin, too many question that needs to be answer that's why its worth to watch the development of these chinese cryptocurrency.
1806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think the Bounty program is over? on: November 13, 2019, 02:46:38 PM
I don't think the Bounty program is over.
Of course, the ICO market has died a lot, but I think the Bounty program will continue until a new marketing plan is released.
Or if there is a new marketing plan that I don't know about, please let me know.
Bounty campaigns is not yet over but it was change a lot comparing before, Most of the new projects nowadays are not even raised its soft cap to continue the project and also pay the bounty hunters, aside from that reality bounty campaigns today are creating a new norms that often disadvantageous to all bounty hunters, But some campaigns are still worthy to promote in order to gain some few bucks but overall bounty campaigns are not reliable and profitable anymore.
1807  Other / Meta / Re: Open letter to bounty managers on: November 11, 2019, 12:49:15 PM
Bounty managers you are responsible for flooding this forum with too many posts, either good or spamming, why? because its ridiculous saying bounty hunters must post 15 posts per week

1. Its not every time we will have something to contribute on.
Most times i come on here i only see old posts that i have no interest in at all but due to meeting up with required bounty posts i will be forced to complete them, some posts are so useless or repetitive that you won't want to say a thing

2. This is another way to reduce spammers, few bounty managers i knew of will only request 7 to 10 posts per week which i feel its more than enough, moreover we have too many scam projects in this space already so not every bounty projects have guarantee

Bounty managers please try to adjust
I agree with you in some point, but i think if the post was useful and informative it will be not consider a spam, But instead it will help the forum more alive and competitive  since it will possibly trigger more interest from other forum users too ,maybe its a bounty participants or just a plain forum users that searching for the informative and sensible content.
1808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose which altcoin will you buy? on: November 11, 2019, 12:03:50 PM
Hello

Recently I started looking into new projects as I have some free time and I'm wondering what do you guys look at when you are deciding which altcoin to buy and hold.

Do you know any projects that you believe has a bright future?

I hear a lot of people complaining that they bought coins that were either dead in a few weeks or the project was pointless. I would like to avoid such situations.

Thank you in advance.
Base on my opinion, if we speak about which coin we should buy and hold, for me that's a complicated thing since most of the people here are often recommend those coins/tokens that they will holding also, in that case i believe that It would be useful if you will be the one to make a decision od which coin or token that you will hold for a long term. But just choose those platform that has already a tract record. base on the top 10 list on CoinmarketCap.
1809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is worth to invest in dogecoin? on: November 10, 2019, 09:42:36 AM
Well!! Did you know? Dogecoin has gained a lot of popularity in the crypto space, as a lot of experts like Elon musk, vitalik, and john McAfee have shown love and support for dogecoin.

On the other hand, experts predict that dogecoin price will rise high in the upcoming years.

What's your take on dogecoin?
I think dogecoin has already showing a lot of potentials, and because its an old coin already i believe that it has already a fundamental effect of its users, holders and supporters, Doge was showing resiliency during the last bearish period that's why i believe that in the coming years Dogecoin will be exalted like those of the so called crypto royalties. that's why its worthy to invest.
1810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Saving for a House! on: November 10, 2019, 09:17:26 AM
We are saving for a house down payment of 40K.  I don't want to leave it in the bank as there is a old judgement they can take any time so i want to store it in crypto as we grow it over the next 6 months.  Is a stable coin the best option?  Thoughts?
I have a little doubt about this? " i want to store it in crypto as we grow it over the next 6 months" I think 40K is not safe in crypto since you didn't know what could be happen during that period its very risky to gamble since that money was intended for down payment for a house! and if you want to grow it, stablecoin is not the good option since stablecoin will not fluctuate much its just stay in its value. But for other purpose just to store it in decentralized way, stablecoin is suitable for that but don't expect any high returns.

1814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Low allocation bounty pools pays easily? on: November 09, 2019, 03:23:20 PM
After reading few posts about how successful ferrum network bounty was i detect that the actual amount of the total bounty allocation is just around 45k and i think to myself maybe this was the reason why it become easy for the team to pay hunters?

It seems that bounties with not very large allocations are better because there is a high chance of getting paid over those bounties with 1million pool? am i right or wrong
I agree as i experience it also, mostly of those low allocation bounties was paid earlier compare to those larger allocation bounties i don't know whats the real reason behind it. or maybe because its just a small amount and cannot do any negative effects on the project as a whole and i hope that it would be more equal in terms of bounty allocation in regards to the bounty duration.
1815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward?? on: November 09, 2019, 02:58:29 PM
So far this year , a lot of scams have occurred in the crypto sphere ranging from projects scamming investors and as well as projects not paying hunters for their works.

What do you think can be done to counter this ill manner behaviors that has been painting cryptocurency bad?
There's no way to counter these kind of problem, As we see today it keeps repeated people are not learned by the experience of others thats why its better to move on to avoid stress and until next time it should be more cautious when dealing investment like ICO's or invest instead on IEO's but choose those exchange that has already a trustworthy records.
1816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Monkey BTCM on: November 08, 2019, 09:21:32 AM
I don't mean to judge any project base on its cover! But i think the cryptocurrency industry today was already full by those so called toxic pump and dump projects! As we all know that the proliferation of those so called depletionary tokens with no clear purpose or no use case  i think those projects are already flooded in the market .BTW Bitcoin Monkey sounds  funny kind of project and its using Ethereum's ERC20 token.
1817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How i keep my private keys safe without hardware wallet on: November 08, 2019, 09:08:47 AM
This is how i keep my private keys safe since i can't afford to buy a hardware wallet.
1. A complete new harddisk
I bought a new harddisk and install window 7 on it and copy all my private keys in there, i don't bother to leave this harddisk in the pc, after the copy is completed i remove the harddisk and keep it.

2.My Recording book
I have a long hard shelled book that i use for keeping records of all the airdrops and bounties i promoted because sometimes i used to forget easily so i write down my recovery seeds in this book as well

3. Flash Drive
I have a good 8gig flash drive as well that i use to copy software and files from one pc to another so i format this flash drive and copy my private keys and recovery seeds in it.

At first no one knew i am into crypto stuffs and secondly i don't share my room with anyone cos i am living alone, those who have people around them with face problems like friends going behind your back checking through your stuffs or even stealing your things, hardware wallet is still the best though.
I'm keeping my private key in a piece of small notebook alongside with all my password seeds and phrases of all the platforms exchange that i have interact with, No more rituals just a plain written piece of paper, with a waterproof cover its just small that even fit in my wallet.
1818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CMC and coingecko on: November 07, 2019, 11:48:14 AM
CMC and coingecko both very useful for us, i used to use both however i am confused why many coins and tokens not listing in CMC but listing in coingecko, not only coins and tokens but also many exchanges, is this because coingecko become more popular than CMC, or for something else.
I Agree that both CMC and CoinGecko are very useful in terms of data gathering and insights, But i think those issue's and accusation that surfaced about CMC that it was promoting scam projects, for the right price should put into consideration, that's why don't just rely those data that supplied by those platforms just compare it to other sources to make it more appropriate and secure.
1819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Withdraw your funds from the top 10 Exchange now !!! on: November 07, 2019, 11:40:57 AM
this is a warning !!!
Top 10 big exchanges is the next target hackers !!!
good luck, and be careful Smiley

Thanks for your concern but i think those in the top 10 crypto exchange are already know this! that anytime they will be targeted by those hackers that's why most of them are already vigilant about these issues and keep upgrading its security system, if they were hacked because of its own negligence that was there own fault.
1820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you sell a million dollars bag of crypto? Would you trust exchanges? on: November 06, 2019, 02:33:59 PM
Just wondering if I want to sell significant amount of crypto, where can I do it ? By significant I mean $250,000+ of crypto.Would you trust Binance / okex / huobi to return their money to you , and how law can protect us from being scammed?
Wow! that's huge bag of cryptocurrency holdings, Imagine it was amounting $250K+ dollars plus, I think you can trust Binance in terms of exchanging that amount but be sure that you already submit your KYC requirements because that amount was already huge and if you are not submit any KYC its in danger to get complication while withdrawing it.
