1801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever caught yourself thinking Bitcoin is AMAZING? on: May 16, 2016, 03:42:50 PM
Yes, but need to control myself as it is quite addictive and you can spend far too much time entwined in the whole crypto world, I have found myself becoming obsessed at times with trading and so on, but yes it is amazing Smiley
1802  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaigns !! on: May 16, 2016, 03:39:07 PM
A quick search and you will find a thread maintained by Mitchełł and is a great resource, it is updated regularly.

Good luck.
1803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone have plan to make income on bitcoins :) on: May 16, 2016, 06:37:01 AM
Not really thinking of anything in terms of setting up a busiess or anything along those lines as I just wouldn't have the time.  Altcoin trading could be a source of income but is quite risky.
1804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will transaction fees be like once no more BTC can be mined? on: May 15, 2016, 06:24:58 PM
Well thats a question to be handled over the next generations as i doubt we will be alive by 2140 thats when the mine of bitcoin should be over, but sure there is a concern since no more coins, what the miners will get to keep bitcoin security,or what will happen if the hash stop protects bitcoin what would be the next step?
I still hold hope for some kind of technology that will allow us to still be here.  I would think it would be a whole new world at that point and bitcoin should finally be the currency of choice, fees would they be enough for miners to keep on mining? who knows, would be nice to have a time machine to have a quick look.
1805  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: WorldOfHash.com - Crypto Mining Farm Game. on: May 13, 2016, 02:38:13 PM
Are you offering any kind of incentive for people to trial your site? like a giveaway to the first 10 / 100 people etc otherwise it will be hard to get people into an unproven site, just a thought.
1806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bernie Sanders on bitcoin?? on: May 13, 2016, 02:35:36 PM
We finally got a response from Bernie about Bitcoin/crypto, sounds like he doesn't give a damn or cares to understand it

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9joMslOVKQ&t=23m45s
Still amazes me how presidents need to be above a crazy ages I mean how old is Sanders? 80? and Trump 70? wouldn't it make more sense to have someone who is younger and a bit hungry with new ideas etc,
1807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I never spent any savings on Bitcoin and I'm not broke on: May 13, 2016, 11:46:42 AM
A risky business putting all of your savings into anything, bitcoin however probably has the most potential for some kind of profit especially if you were able to buy in a few years ago and even now is still a good point of entry as long term we will rise (hopefully)
1808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest Loss Ever. on: May 13, 2016, 09:26:45 AM
In a single traditional bet 0.2 but if we are talking about trading altcoins which is kind of gambling i a way then that's another story Smiley
1809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Launch of the FIRST DAO - Ethereum on: May 12, 2016, 04:41:22 PM
Time for the price increase is approaching, I would expect a last minute rush from those waiting on the sidelines to see how it progressed before investing.

This could be something very special.
1810  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: May 12, 2016, 04:36:37 PM
It is already kind of an international currency, a couple of countries have acknowledged it as such.  For it to be a true officially accepted currently I don't think we will see that anytime soon as the governments have no control of it as they do currently with their fiat.
1811  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit to shut down May 24! Withdraw your funds! on: May 12, 2016, 04:26:02 PM
You just never know, they are one of those exchanges that you expect to go at any time but will probably be one of the last ones standing.
1812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Theymos: “Bitcoins Belonging to Satoshi Should Be Destroyed” on: May 12, 2016, 01:09:35 PM
I think that these coins and everyone's coins should be left as they are, if people want to store them away for 20 years then they should have that choice.
1813  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs to move to POS. Thoughts? on: May 10, 2016, 12:25:12 PM
I don't think POS is the way to go for bitcoin, there are plenty and I mean plenty of altcoins out there that love their POS but for bitcoin I don't think it would do it much good.
1814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth bubble is about to pop on: May 10, 2016, 10:30:26 AM
This whole DAO thing could be massive or it could be a flash in the pan, I'm hoping for massive and it would be a shame to miss out when you can get in early.
1815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: New Altcoin exchange EmpireX.ch on: May 10, 2016, 06:46:48 AM
Good luck, I wish you success and hope you do not become a madhouse that Yobit has become and simply add everything that comes out.
1816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not use USB sticks for long term storage! Its not safe! on: May 09, 2016, 11:21:50 AM
I didn't realise the lifespan would be as short as ten years.  I did read about some kind of DNA storage being looked into, I would imagine this would have quite a long lifespan, until then I suppose old school paper is the way to go!
1817  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit on the process to become the next cryptsy? on: May 06, 2016, 01:56:08 PM
I think this is just the way they operate, it's to be expected from Yobit although I have seen quite a lot of complaints recently more than usual.

If in doubt, get out.
1818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] PALCOIN [PAL] Rare and scarce on: May 06, 2016, 11:57:53 AM
Think I'll be skipping lunch on the 7th.
1819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There is no life in Gambling can you accept this....?? on: May 06, 2016, 11:54:08 AM
It is a dangerous game gambling, it can take control and take you out.  Only a few can really make a living out of it and they would be skill players like Poker and so on but in general I have never had much luck with gambling although fun it needs to be treated as fun and not taken too seriously.
1820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Swiss Town Begins Accepting Bitcoin for Public Services on: May 06, 2016, 07:10:22 AM
The Swiss can do this because the country has a stable currency where Bitcoin is not a real challenger. In contrary to the Euro for example. The acceptance of Bitcoin could lead to loss of trust on the next Euro crisis. For that reason, I predict that we will not see such officially Bitcoin acceptance services in European countries outside Switzerland.
I would have to agree with you, because the Euro is present in so many countries some countries will find it difficult to be as welcoming as the Swiss have.

The UK I am hoping will move in a similar direction as they are presently not completely against the idea of bitcoin.
