It seems keeping Harry Maguire on the bench finally paid off, Manchester United's defense looks solid tonight, no mistakes, well organized and the team showed good spirit and team work today. Fofana to Chelsea seems likely to happen after the player met with Brendan Rodgers. I like Fofana, I think he's got big potential, but at the same time it seems that Chelsea is willing to pay around 80 million pounds to get him.
It might be that I'm just getting old and am used to much lower numbers - but it seems like crazy money for a player that still isn't among the best defenders - and might never actually become one.
That said - Chelsea needs a good CB and he's among the best in the league that are available for transfer. It's just too much money - but that's the overall state of the market.
Fofana's abilities must have caught the eyes of Tuchel so much to want to sign him for a whopping sum of £80 m. It now looks likely that Leicester City are open to selling him this summer as he was left out of their team selection during the weekend. Manchester city had it tough today against Newcastle. Teams that were not doing too well are making impressive games very well now. It is not easy for Newcastle to play a draw game. Many teams are ready to play tough game with Manchester City.
I think Manchester City had same issue as Chelsea. After getting a goal in the first 5mins of the first half they felt it was a walk over match and went to relax but to their surprise Newcastle United were so determined and didn't lose focus and pushed harder and got three goals. Haaland looked locked out in the first half but his performance in the second half was different and much better and he was able to get a goal and Man city got away with a draw. They should learn from this game and improve their weak points. |

Well actually Arsenal was pretty much ready since last season. They had a rough start last season and barely make it out to the 5th spot. Halfway through last season, they kept on winning especially against another top team although they choked on some games afterward but they were pretty good already since last season especially now with their new striker Arteta is gradually building a formidable squad, 3 wins in a role is really something to be excited about. The recent additions to the team has changed their game and given them this outstanding form. Arsenal might get chance in the champions league again if they can maintain the rythm and consistently giving their best in every game this season. |

Right now, Real Madrid combination is excellent with Ancelotti is also doing amazing job currently he is one of the best coach in the world with his experience and skills he can manage any team unite into best which he has already done here now most chances they will keep their 100% record in this season and won against Celta Vigo.
But, Barcelona with heavy investments and having few quality players still looking for their best right now they are going to face Real Sociedad which is not easy game for them, but we can expect something better than their first game which they play against Rayo Vallecano and ended in goalless draw.

Real Keen to see how they progress in the premier league, backing Joe Aribo. I'm more concerned over him as I demand and want more from him off and during National Nigerian game's and during clubs side's.
Unlike previous transfer window, Nigerian players were highly rated this window as many were moved to higher clubs. Today Leicester City will be playing Southampton and the battle in the midfield will be piloted by Nigerians (Joe Aribo vs Ndidi). It's quite interesting to see the Nigerian players begining to get the attention that they deserve and this will make them setup since they now realized they have a high chance of getting interest from higher clubs if they perform well and indirectly this will also improve the Nigeria squad and we can win trophy when local tournament are been played. Wilfried Ndidi is a top class player but lately his been prone to injury real quick and that sucks for both club side at Nigeria at most when you needs his service. Joe Aribo came to limelight recently but he has been focused and chasing growth just as it should be. Yeah they lock down today during the noon hour and I hope to see a goal once more from Aribo. Dortmund - Bremen game was really shocking. I placed a bet on Dortmund to win and I was relieved after seeing the score as 2-0. But in the last moments, there was a miracle happening. Bremen scored three goals in only a few minutes and suddenly won 3-2. Everything happened so fast that I couldn't even react properly to this.
The Bundesliga is always full of surprises but this is absolutely unacceptable for Dortmund. It looks like the defensive issues still exist.

I didn't watch the game but judging from the scoreline and the come back I will assume Bremen lost their focus in the game and probably made silly mistakes in the game which resulted to giving away all 3 goals to the losing side and losing all three points. |

I have fear and I have doubt in this new season. With the way the season started it can be right to day that Manchester City will be the champions again. It is always difficult to bit Manchester City when they are leading with only 1 point and now Liverpool has already lost 4points to clubs that are not big. It will be a difficult season for Klopp and his boys this time around. For Manchester United, maybe Liverpool can be their first win if they apply same energy they used in preseason now that their Martial is back.
I can't say Manchester City will win the league now, the league is still at the early stages. Manchester city are on top of their game now but it's possible that they might drop in form along the way or hit stumbling block along the way to injuries, anything can happen in the league, in the middle of the season we will see who maintains top form and who drops. Manchester city will be contenders but it is too early to predict City to win the league. |

Was very impressed to see Antonio Conte twerk his team formation ( 3-4-3) against Chelsea to accommodate Richarlison to combine with his front three Harry Kane, Son Heung Min and Dejan Kuluvsenski in a 4-2-1-1 or let's say 4-2-3-1 with Richarlison spearheading his attack and Harry Kane just behind him, it shows Tottenham have given Conte the rotation he craves for and also exciting to know that the four front men can play Together, and I like seeing Lucas moura more on the right wing back. Would like to see the new formation this weekend against wolves.
Conte's tactics have been crucial to their team's good performance. His switching in tactics and formations makes the team unpredictable to their opponents and gives opportunity to field Richarlison to combine with Harry Kane, Son, and Dejan Kuluvsenski making it more difficult for the opposition defenders to stop their attack. Lucas Moura is also a good attacker who can add pace to their attack and an attacking option for Tottenham. |

Manchester United is now weak in forward, midfield and defense. The interaction between the players is not good. I think most of the team players are selfish. Due to this, they are not able to play well as a team. Midfield and forward players do not have a good relationship. They are making a lot of mistakes in the match. And the most important thing is that their defense is very weak. A win against a team like Liverpool with a weak defense is almost impossible. I think United should have played a full defensive game in this match and should have drawn the match.
The problem in the club is way beyond communication between players, why are we ignoring the fact that most of this players in the Manchester United team are not good enough, the available players are not reliable and they need new signings and until they bring in suitable signings same issues will be talked about week in, week out. The club needs to sign new players to improve the squad. |

Manchester United are so desperate to get new players, a lot of names have been linked to Manchester United and I heard the deal for Rabiot has been called off and Casemiro emerging as the preferred alternative which to me is very unlikely to happen. Casemiro seems happy at Real Madrid and is not looking to switch club now besides I don't see what Manchester United will bring to the table that will be enough to convince him to join them.

'the independet' reports that manchester united is up for sale. the club is said to already have three consortiums that could bid for the club. will the issue bring more turmoil before the match against liverpool...  Hopefully, it won't bring more problems but many are demanding from fans that the Glazers should sell him because Manchester United are in his hands unable to solve the problem, especially in the transfer market which is not good. Looks Diego Simeone prefer choose Morata-Felix as forward when Atletico Madrid success defeated Getafe 0-3 last week, but Griezman play as substitutes success give one goals for Atletico Madrid. I think next match try with third forward and give chance with Griezman play on first minutes become good choose, Griezman-Morata-Felix I think they can play together at the early minutes without have put one of them on bench. Felix could play as left winger side and use Griezman as second striker under Alvaro Moratta as central forward, but will loss one midfielder position if keep use third forward on the same time. Next match Atletico Madrid against with Villareal, will Diego Simeone use third forward or keep the same formation with Morata-Felix as forward.
It is often seen that managers try different options in formation and squad rotation at early stages of the season so probably Diego Simeon is also doing the same. Morata and Joao Felix seem to have that chemistry playing together which was noticed earlier in the game against Getafe. Playing all three attackers together could be risky because of injuries. I think its better to play two and one coming from the bench as a substitute. |

Gabriel Jesus of Arsenal showed how brilliant he is in their last game against Leicester,but one little concern they might have is their second choice striker Nketiah,the player might want to live after Mikel Arteta promised him first team,it seems as if he is now choosing Gabriel Jesus over him.In the game at Emirate stadium last Saturday,I saw a sign of frustration on the player's face when the camera flashed on him.I believe he must be frustrated at the lack of minutes at the Emirates.Now there are now concerns over his stay,because they both scored seven goals at the pre-season,showing that the player is also inform.It is yet to be seen whether the player might want to live or not.But I hope he stays.
Gabriel Jesus who happens the first Brazilian to net 4 goals in a single game in the premier league against Watford last season is outstanding in his form this season. He's the most chosen attacking striker in fantasy football and he's also one for the favorites of Mikel Arteta. Gabriel Jesus makes an excellent debut for the gunners and seems not to be on bench anytime soon, but for sure Nketiah wouldn't have a regular playing time after all, he's not better than Jesus which all eyes is on him. Nketiah will stay definitely but Gabriel Jesus presence would hinder him not to see regular playing time in the club. Gabriel Jesus performance so far has been outstanding being the first Brazilian to score four goals in a premier league game is an excellent start for him. His brilliant form and fine start to the league for Arsenal has attracted lots of attention and recognition to Jesus. Hopefully we will continue to see this form for a long time. Eddie will also get time when the FA cup competition starts and will also come up as substitute for Gabriel Jesus in some of the EPL games. |

It is my opinion that right now the best part of Roma is their attack, and I believe they should invest more players into that part of the game. On the other hand, it is also true that if there is no supply from the midfield, it is going to be difficult for them to attack with coordination. As far as the supply was concerned in the last match, I do not think there was any problem with it. One of the only things I found to be problematic was their finishing lineup. My opinion is that they should try the formation once more in order to see if it works. Due to the fact that there was an adequate supply of midfield players.
Roma are playing well and much better this season, Jose Mourinho's impact in the team is beginning to show off, they have a good attacking group and their midfield is also good because they were able to get the ball across to the attackers in their last game but I noticed their finishes wasn't so good, Dybala and Zaniolo missed a lot of chances in the which they have to work on cause missing too many chances like that can cost them losing games. |
