Money can indeed solve many problems but money will not always be the answer to everything, the proof is that what Man United offered to De Jong was not able to shake his stance. Most likely if Casemiro gets certainty (about his contract extension at Madrid) then surely he will reject the offer from Man United. Because glazers family didn't spend a dime on the team yet, and that is why they suck so much, when a team is being that cheap, I doubt that they would be not spending at all for years and then suddenly end up spending more for Casemiro, he is not a superstar you go out of your way to get if you can.

Casimero already is a fulfilled player who has upto five champions league title and 3 laliga titles. He has played consistent football for many years and I can say that he is fulfil. There are some players who would be as fulfilled as Casemiro and would consider to retire but then he is getting a fresh start to his career in a new club, new country, higher pay.
Infact the whole thing is a win win situation both for Casemiro and RM, and Manchester United. Let the deal happen and everyone would be happy.

Next season, there is a possibility that Modric and Kroos will transfer or retire. If they also sell Casemiro, they will lose 3 midfielders. Maybe even 4 if Ceballos does not sign with Real Madrid again. Of course, this might be a move to replace the MCK trio with VTC as Valverde-Tchouameni-Camavinga. Bellingham is a good addition to the new trio. The rumor about Real Madrid wanting Bellingham has been mentioned quite a lot so it seems carry merit to the whole setup. Blanco can stay on the reserve list or can be loaned instead of completely selling him off.

Man Utd best shot at getting a decent new midfielder and perhaps a relatively cheap one was with Adrien Rabiot, but now that the deal is off, Man Utd have no other choice but to look elsewhere for other prospective options. Signing 3 to 4 players in the remaining time of the transfer window which is only counting today is not an easy thing.
on the other hand, they also really like the difficulty of which part they have to add because in almost all lines of their performance there are many things that need to be improved.
I think the homework for Ten Hag at the moment is huge and hopefully he can get through this and bring United better.
