1801  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy BTC at one exchange, sell it more expensive at another? on: June 20, 2017, 05:39:53 AM
arbitrage trading is difficult to make a profit and there are already explains this also the issue of transaction fee and trading fee especially bitcoin transactions that use expensive fees and long confirmation. if you want to do it you have to be really careful when managing bitcoin. I've tried it and the result is a big zero I did not get the profit I imagined before.
1802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need to rethink the way we look at 1 BTC value... on: June 20, 2017, 05:27:37 AM
OK, so now when a newbie looks at 1 BTC says: " I will never be able to own that! Too expensive!" - yes because people are willing to have 1 coin but how about if we make people understand that even owning 0.01 BTC can bring good wealth to their lives in the near future... I mean yeah it's great to own 1 BTC or more but that doesn't mean it's not great owning 0.1 BTC right?
1 btc is indeed expensive for the newbie it's true it will be hard to get it and accept the fact . with minimal experience about bitcoin not even use capital and just earn for free bitcoin. I'm sure after they have a lot of experience for example trading "1 btc too expensive" will disappear and they will say "0.01 btc very cheap". I think they don't mean to say 0.1 btc is not great it's just 1 btc is more than 0.1 btc.
1803  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Meraup Bitcoin Dari Signature Campaign ~ Post Dapat Bitcoin ~ Penjelasan dll on: June 19, 2017, 04:46:39 AM
1804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $8 fee? for a $73 transaction? Really what the fuc is going on? on: June 19, 2017, 04:36:13 AM
confirmation is only 1 hour is fast so you have to add the amount of fee. if you don't want it there's customize option or you don't choose regular in form transactiekosten choose a lowers although it will take longer for the estimated confirmation. maybe for transactions it would be better to choose altcoin like eth or doge and you have to use multi wallet like coinbase to send eth.
1805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are we going with cryptocurrency? on: June 19, 2017, 04:21:03 AM
There are a lot of people knew about crypto currencies especially bitcoin, the number of people that aware of bitcoin has been up very fast, most of my friends knew about bitcoin but not all of them want to used bitcoin, because they always heard the bad news about bitcoin so they thought that bitcoin is a criminal coin, we still need to increase the bitcoin popularity so everyone aware of bitcoin potential, if everyone had the same vision bitcoin could be become big and useful

maybe it is just a difference in the crowd or something else but i have never heard anyone (in real life) say they think bitcoin is "criminal coin". they may not fully understand it or make a lot of mistakes thinking blockchain.info is the only way to use bitcoin like how paypal is the only way to use paypal money but the mentality of "bitcoin is for criminals" died a long time ago.
maybe those who call bitcoin are criminal coin due an anonymous bitcoin system. maybe they reading some article about bitcoin to be a tool to fund terrorist acts because I've seen such articles.
1806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real life usage of bitcoin on: June 19, 2017, 04:05:26 AM
Certainly contribution of bitcoin in life has a role that is very helpful to its users in various countries.
And there is not set limitation in the use of bitcoin, whether rich or poor young or old age has the same opportunity to earn income from bitcoin.
According to their ability and knowledge on how to get bitcoin.

There are no such restrictions even when using a centralized currency.
Bitcoin is now hard to use in real life. In many countries, there is simply no way to buy goods with bitcoin. But I hope that this situation will change in the near future
in fact currently most of the people do not have much more knowledge about bitcoin and therefore they are  not investing their money here. I am sure that when they will get knowledge about bitcoin and will become confident they will start using bitcoin and then the local shopkeepers will become confident to start accepting bitcoin for shopping  and for so many other purposes, we just need to wait for some more time.
yes in fact bitcoin is not yet so much popular, and still there are a lot of areas where people even did not hear the name of bitcoin, I think the main reason can only be that still bitcoin is not so much popular in most of the area. and when it will become popular then we can expect that they will take interest in bitcoin and when the number of users of bitcoin will increase then it will become possible that people there will also start using bitcoin in their real life.
not only local shops but also factories as manufacturers of goods to be able to gain knowledge about bitcoin. probably price fluctuations and long transaction confirmations are also the reason shop owners who know about bitcoin don't receive as payment.
1808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's still really hard to use bitcoin as a regular currency on: June 18, 2017, 04:40:44 AM
Bitcoin has not been designated as a regular currency. It was designed to mimic gold, that is, more a store of value and for big transactions. Usage as regular currency is an accident. Also Bitcoin is too precious to be used as a currency, it is like using gold to pay stuff.

But if you want, there are credit cards that accept Bitcoin, if you want to use it as a currency.
Exactly, we must treat Bitcoin like an investment instead of wanting it to be a currency we can use digitally. Maybe in the future we can use altcoins with fast transactions and low fees as a currency instead, but seeing how Bitcoin is right now, high fees, slow transactions, I don't think Bitcoin can be a used regularly.

Even I rarely touch my BTC because of the hideous fees. Angry
of the articles I read bitcoin created because the bank system is too profitable to their side and seems closed. and it's now like an investment because every year bitcoin continues to grow make users will think twice about using it that's difficult to use as a regular currency and how bitcoin transactions are now a problem.
1809  Local / Trading dan Spekulasi / Re: [DISKUSI] Harga Bitcoin on: June 17, 2017, 04:56:42 AM

1810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin for Retirement on: June 17, 2017, 04:44:37 AM
I am living in a still-considered as a third world country which kinda suit me because the standard of living here is still low and we can easily afford all the necessities of life and even some luxuries here and there. Money here goes a long, long way at least compared to developed countries like USA or Japan for that matter.

It is then good to retire here most especially if you have the money in your purse. Now, I am planning to set aide even just 1 Bitcoin as part of my retirement plan...of course it is just part of the mix as I am also into cacao/mango/coconut farming which can also serve me well when I am retired.

Do you think 1 Bitcoin can be good for retirement...let's say 20 years from now?

If you currently have it now, don't just set it aside for your retirement. If I were you I'd be trading cryptos and earn a decent income in return.

With bitcoin's volatility in value, there is actually no assurance that a couple of decades from now, bitcoin will still be the same high-valued asset that we have now.

I think it would be more prudent to invest in land or business, less risky business if you want.
it's true. bitcoin is too risky to be a retirement savings even though many say bitcoin the longer it will grow longer but we really don't know what happens in the future. at least as long as you are still productive and can still work you must make more money because 1 bitcoin is too small.
1811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It cost me $2 + 12 hours to send $25 in BTC now on: June 17, 2017, 04:33:09 AM
indeed many are turning to eth because of the smaller transaction fee but that's my opinion has been a long  that's happen but in fact bitcoin is still widely used especially for large-value transactions. for the transaction itself eth already take over bitcoin but as number one of cryptocurrency bitcoin still far standing above eth.
1812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ether surpass Bitcoin?? on: June 17, 2017, 04:10:50 AM
for transactions and development eth is better for now than bitcoin but eth still needs a lot of things to surpass bitcoin. from the price that I think the distance is still far away and overall bitcoin is still good for investors.
1813  Economy / Speculation / Re: price getting down on: June 16, 2017, 03:45:37 AM
Some bitcoin holders will panic with the decline in bitcoin prices that should not be necessary. Bitcoin price decline is a good moment to buy it  and we know the price of bitcoin by 2015 if compared to 2017 what percentage increase it's very profitable.
1814  Economy / Speculation / Re: No need to panic guys! Here's why... on: June 16, 2017, 03:35:41 AM
Falling bitcoin prices is currently very reasonable for me, after the price rises very high in a very reasonable time reasonable if a little correction, nothing to worry about, do not panic

Bitcoin value to arise will take a lot of time by now. Lowering of btc were too sudden, but this is why bitcoin is  unstable the market is moving and altcoins were in thread ,i just hope also it will not lower to $1000 for it will take a long run before it arise like it did last month.
that's why the fluctuating bitcoin where the price can rise and fall at any time. instead of when bitcoin goes down it's our chance to invest by buying and holding bitcoin you just need to be patient. compare bitcoin prices in 2015 and bitcoin prices are now very much different.
1815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: June 16, 2017, 03:27:51 AM
What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked

I don't think so it will make the real money or fiat disappear. Government has the control to cash and they can reproduce it any time they want. But bitcoin, it is decentralized and there's no way for the government to re-product and it has a supply limit of 21 million so when it reached to that supply, there will be no way for it to supply and produce again.
If Bitcoin gets manipulated and someone found a method to build as much coins within the whole Blockchain of Bitcoin then there would be a disruption in the whole Bitcoin network. Nobody would want to use Bitcoin because Bitcoins code would be broken and the people that invested money into will lose their money. I am pretty sure that Bitcoin can make regular money disappear.

if it's true and that manipulates has a lot of bitcoin and regular money disappears. cryptocurrency also will not be useful because if you want to use cryptocurrency you have to convert it to fiat while fiat disappears?. It does not make any sense. I don't think cryptocurrency can make real money disappear even though they are both currencies but they are very different.
1816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What goods have you got from bitcoin results? on: June 16, 2017, 03:17:20 AM
the price of the refrigerator and the price of the car is so different you have to have lots of ways to earn bitcoin. I only buy things that are important for me to simplify my activities like washing machine and smartphone.
1817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: big transaction fee in Bitcoin , really down the future of btc ? on: June 15, 2017, 05:06:09 AM
not just a big fee but also the length of the transaction confirmation even if using the default fee. some users also complained about it and hoped there was an opportunity to repair the chain block network and increase the block size. but this may be proportional to the profit for user due to the rise in bitcoin prices.
1818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: June 15, 2017, 04:45:21 AM
What is the safest way to keep bitcoins.

Taken dangers like hacking, losing in to account!
I use a wallet that has double security to store btc like google authenticator or two-factor authentication. actually to secure your account it depends on yourself carefully when receiving emails that link your wallet account because of the possibility of phishing.
1819  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do people create more than one BTC wallet ? on: June 15, 2017, 04:34:27 AM
Why do people create more than one BTC wallet ? What are the benefits of it ?
because each wallet has its own advantages there are those who have more security there is also wallet with a small transaction fee. actually there are different goals such as to facilitate in managing their bitcoin and there is a purpose to store their bitcoin if one of the btc wallet in the hack.
1820  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: A new website for wallet ... on: June 15, 2017, 04:29:00 AM
We really need bitcoin wallet with a new system and a small fee, I appreciate your efforts to make the wallet, but honestly I'm not sure about your wallet and website, can anyone convince me to trust the website?
the site was not wearing GTLD domains making users reduce their trust. because the site is still new to prove the site is safe.and convincing it take a long time at least when they have many users the possibility the site is trusted.
