Project YuTübopolis

Project YuTübopolis is delighted to announce the largest crowdfunding campaign in the history of mankind, poised to eclipse the $150,000,000 raised by The DAO by 66%, namely $250,000,000 (for those who struggle with performing percentages), as we spring forward on an inevitable path toward fruition and manifestation come summer.

Round 1 of our ICO (Initial Crowdsale Offering) is available here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1801101.0 - [🅰NN] 🅸🅲🅾 YuTü.Co.in: First Crypto-commodity 💱 Catering to YouTube 📷 Creators.

In conjunction with BitcoinTalk, a parallel crowdfunding campaign will be on Indiegogo, managed by a team of experts versed in the platform, conducting a blitzkrieg toward the vast YouTube space in getting its users onboard. Ergo, PAQs are currently cheap to the BitcoinTalk community compared to later as more and more of them will be ongoingly snatched up.

Trading of yAłtcoin shares (yaltz) will commence no later than the third week of June 2017, just prior to VidCon (June 21-24). Translated: One's not investing in a non-profit entity where funds will be tied up till September - at the earliest (if you get the drift).

Select details of subsequent funding rounds via procuring discounted PAQs are as follows:

In the same vein that the iconic fast-food hamburger chain White Castle brilliantly adopted the negative connotation ofttimes associated with their square-shaped greasy delights, viz. sliders, marketing them as such counter to why aficionados referred to them as such the next morning (if you get the drift), Project YuTübopołis employs the usage of "GAWdiose" (GAWdiose endeavors; GAWdiose plans; etc.; think: GAW) and "YTC-Sox" (our exchange; rhymes with Mt Gox), quasi-embracing oppose to ignoring adversities renown in the cryptocurrency space.

The purpose of this thread is to bring attention to Project YuTübopolis' $250,000,000 ($250M; USD) ICO currently underway, the largest crowdfunding attempt in history, predominantly showcasing in this OP our GAWdiose plans, leaving the finer details viewable on our other thread, but still welcoming questions and concerns discussions [and well wishes].

18042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the people creates a lot of alt coins? on: June 28, 2014, 10:52:24 PM
That's one question I don't understand
I see there are thousands of alternative coins and most of them are forgotten or just not being used anymore.

Any logic reason?

I believe most are developed while in a pump-and-dump stat-o'-mind. But, that doesn't need to be the case. Soon, new alts will break out outta said mindset and will be able to preform under their own merits. Some will perform better than others based on their fan base or how heavily they're promoted (sometimes both). A lesser know entity backing an alt could easily out-perform a well-known entity backing their coin, again depending on the mindset of their respective dedicated fan base, coupled with marketing. Apologies for stating the same thing twice, but it was worth repeating.

I see alt-coins obscurely named after animals, colors, memes, etc.. pre-mined, mega coins mined per minute or less, unlimited or hundreds of billions market cap (mined, not value), based on some Z-17, et al. algorithms, going the way of the dinosaurs.

Don't get me wrong, with everything currently wrong with the alt coin space we're experiencing, a lot of leg work was already done to glean valuable information from so that future alts would have a better chance of surviving and bettering humanity on some level.

Hey, Josh. Couple quick questions. Have you anywhere disclosed your identity on this forum? If so, PM the info/link. If not, no problem. I was just curious with this regard. BTW, your reviews look great hence desiring more info.

I have a mega project in mind that I'm fully dedicating my efforts toward. It consist of a niche that should have no problem getting 1M plus new users outta the gate, all wanting part of the newly created alts catered specifically to said niche, with a high percentage of them seeking out other alts not part of this niche, not to mention being introduced to Bitcoin for the first time. If it sounds grandiose, it's because it's.

I'm not telling you this in hopes of having you do work on commissions or the like, nor seeking a discount, albeit that's not off the table, for I'm not talking a few alts, or a dozen alts, etc., but a hundred outta the gate--for starters.

That said, payment wouldn't be a problem. In fact, I'm presenting at the next conference and should have no problem obtaining VC. The only caveat is that the VC may already have an alt dev. in mind, but depending on your history, et al. I would be in position to influence in this regard.

Apologize for being vague, but would have no problem with discussing with you what I have in mind if you're so inclined.

I look forward to your reply/PM.

Gleb is not my real name.

Perhaps, I'm missing something, like maybe I should've paid membership dues somewhere to become a bona fide member of the alt-coin clan.

Who among the alt-coin community are considered an authority on the subject?

ha ha - this is topic telling for a number of sociological reasons.

My questions are legit, if that's what you're somehow implying.

I've seen the media write Alt Coin and alt coin and alt-coin, among others, hence asking for clarity. Akin to us getting a hard-on when we see Bitcoin written as Bit Coin, et al, thus asking again, what's considered proper form?

Thank you in advance.

I might as well ask more questions while waiting for replies.

Quote
Feather Coin – Feathercoin
Abbreviation: FTC
Algorithm: SCRYPT
Date Founded: 4/16/2013
Total Coins: 336 Million
Confirm Per Transaction:
Re-Target Time:
Block Time: 2.5 Minutes
Block Reward: 200 Coins
Diff Adjustment

Using the above alt as an example (honestly, not affiliated with this or any other alt coin), does the 200 coins reward half down the road like with Bitcoin's algorithm? If so, when? Four years? Number of blocks?

If a person wanted to create a whole series of themed alt coins with all having the exact same algorithm, would SCRYPT be the way to go?

Is having a 'Total Coins' count above 100M practical?
18047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Alt Coin N00b asking questions. on: June 28, 2014, 03:59:38 AM
First Question: Is this thread in the correct sub section to seek answers to questions pertaining to Alt Coins?

Second Question: Is it Alt Coin or AltCoin or some other? Seeking the proper terminology.

Safely assume I'm a seasoned Bitcoiner and that Gleb Gamow is not my real name.

Edit: I promise the questions will be more thought-provocative as time goes on.

EDIT: I'm putting this here for easy recovery: Always with the negative waves trolliarty.

I love that quote, just gleaned it from some other.
