1821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BetBit Casino Gone? on: July 23, 2020, 04:29:56 PM
This is very disadvantageous, joining a gambling site that you found elsewhere and not on this forum, because all the reviews, feedback  and reports are all here in Bitcointalk some of the gambling sites promoted on social medias are coming from affiliate of that gambling site and not really independent reviews.
I will not try to play gambling, which does not have ANN on this forum because we don't know if their site is good.
Besides that, we don't know about their reputation among the other new or old gambling sites, so that can lead us to get scam by them.
But I think some people will try to join the gambling site out there because they are curious about the site, and they want to test the site to find out if that site is real.
If that so, they need to realize that they can get scam anytime, and they need to set a limit of the money to be used for playing gambling.
It is difficult for someone to try a gambling site that doesn't have any ANN thread in this forum because most gambling sites with an ANN thread are legitimate and safe to play. But sometimes the curiosity of other people will drive them up to try a gambling site. Even they hasn't read any feedback and its reputation just for them to play.

i remember there is a saying curiosity killed the cat . its like we gonna get loose for our curiosity . its bad and we should limit it but i know there are gamblers that cant help it  . they can try but they should choose the gambling site that pass the criteria above . having an ann thread is not the key factor here because there are casinos that still failed at the end  . its not bad to put links on social medias but we should present the site properly so that itl be more believable for the gamblers that will try it
1822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Rise of DeFi — A Temporary Threat to Major Coins? on: July 23, 2020, 01:22:15 PM
this defi is so hyped now . people keeps on talking with that anywhere and thats the start of curiousity of others that are new to it and they start checking it out . they stop buying thier main coins for a while which causes for the price to go down but as soon as they got used to defi , they will start crawling back again on the originals. thats only a classic move by the investors , they will keep doing it as long as there are new discoveries on the crypto world .
1823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin doesn't reach $500K in 3 years.... on: July 23, 2020, 12:52:21 PM
within three years it means 2020 is still covered in his prediction and 2020 isnt over yet.  dont judge the guy too early , what if price jumps this year ? mcafee is going to be the one that will laugh on us and we are the ones that will eat  our junk .

if ever btc fail to increase that much , id still forgive him due to the corona issue that strike this year because if not corona the price could succesfully pump now .
1824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in Ripple? on: July 23, 2020, 07:46:46 AM

did ripple lie to ask if we believed on it or not  ? they arent so yes i believe on them and i dont care if they are centralized or semi but what important is thier use case  .

i find them useful for transfering heavy coin fast enough and less costy  . others have been doing this trick if they struggle on thier primary coin   . that should be the reason why ripple is still growing stronger despite of other people labeled them as one of those ugly coins .
1825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop kill project? on: July 23, 2020, 07:08:10 AM

this does depend . majority of the airdrops and bounties have a coin that does not listed yet  . how can you say that airdrop hunters and bounty hunters sell thier coin , where would they sell that coin ?  if the other scenario happen like when the coin already listed  . it depends on the situation too , theyl prolly sell when the value of the coin is way too much upon they got it but if not then why the fck they would sell  .  some users joined more than the reward but they also care about the project and wont do anything bad for thier supported project
1826  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any other Pilnko casinos? on: July 23, 2020, 06:35:41 AM
is that your review site and your promoting it ? dont be shy and tell the truth  , and no one will get hurt .  just kidding  . yours or not , why the site only have  3 casino that have plinko's ? thats too less  . you can add bitvest.io on the list   .

the site have thier plinko game which is unique compare to others because you can modify your prize not unlike to others that your prize are usually fixed   .  stake.com has thier own plinko game too and you can add it as well  .
1827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BetKing sponsors kenya football , is it a publicity stunt ? on: July 23, 2020, 06:05:54 AM
so am i right that betking has a bad record before  . i almost forgot it because it was long time ago but there could be some bits left in my head on why i can still remember it whenever i heard thier name  . the said amount is huge but we shouldnt wonder if where did they got that money  , the money can came from thier bad deeds   .  if they havent cleared thier name before they can still look bad  . recieving a cash that came from stealing sounds not aprorpriate , if im the sport manager ill not accept this deal  .
1828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Working for 4 to 6 or 12 weeks even 6 month's, ending up unsatisfied on: July 22, 2020, 11:40:06 PM
That is the truth about bounties these days. Receiving peanuts are pretty much the normal payment for the efforts that bounty hunters are doing. The standard has changed a lot overtime and different from the greatest years of bounty hunting and with ICO. As ICO starts to drop, bounties have dropped too because it's the sole resource. If you feel unsatisfied with it, don't exert effort in joining one if you have already the idea how much you will be receiving thus, there is a chance you receive nothing.

how many times that happen that most bounties didnt pay well ? people should already learn from thier past experience because hearing the same complaints over and over again is not funny anymore  but its annoying too  .

and why continue working if your not satisfied  ? id better stop and look for more worth it than continue working effortlesly because that is still the same .  youl only ended up wasting time  .
1829  Economy / Speculation / Re: TA indicates a bull run is coming on: July 22, 2020, 11:09:54 PM
Thats why i never trust TA given by random people here in forum.

Great! I'm glad you've learnt the first lesson of trading and investing: never trust a random person on the internet.
Best of luck!
^ Definitely right, because everyone can provide by our own TA just simple plot a graph and compare to the previous price as your indicator. Personal TA is just like your own opinion that based on your own idea. However, everyone can do that if they are really want to, that is why random TA form random people are always doubtful for us because we have different ideas and opinions. Nevertheless, even how many TA was there but my mindset towards in bitcoin prediction price is the same, always hoping that the price will always to the moon.

no not all . only legit traders can do that  . look at me , im not a trader and i cant do a t.a but its possible for me to get info from others and get a graph online and share it with here  .  we cant trust anyone because they can be acting and only want to miss lead us for thier own good  . better if we trust people that have known to provide legit t.a's   . i like your mindset but its not possible for btc to always rise or moon  .  its not bad if it will be stable or experience a pump for a few times
1830  Economy / Economics / Re: Korea proposes 20% tax on crypto trading starting 2021 on: July 22, 2020, 10:31:02 PM
It's been a long time coming but it looks like they're finally here. Crypto taxes in South Korea.
Took them long enough. Honestly they don't look that bad. it's better than the capital gains threat that was being thrown around for a while.
20% on gains, minimum threshold is $2k/year, filed under income tax, starting October 2021.

https://thenews.asia/korean-crypto-tax-amendment-sent-for-review/
I see this as both a win and a lose for people. Now there are methods to do this that could make it better, but if the government is taxing bitcoin (or generally crypto trading) that is a way of saying "we see crypto and we agree that you should use it and trade it and we support you" because they are taxing it and when a government taxes something they are making it very legit, you can do whatever you want in crypto world in Korea and you will not face governmental backlash.

This is the good part obviously, the bad part is, if they do not charge it yearly, that means you could make a trade, profit, pay taxes, and when you do another one you lose and you do not pay taxes and now you are in trouble, so it has to be yearly and has a set date beforehand in order for people to prepare themselves for it.

for me its better if we can remmit our tax earlier than a year like monthly or weekly , in that way it wont be too heavy for us to pay just like what we did on our other payments  .

there is no bad side with this , only good because crypto are now going to be supported plus crypto users can do something good with thier money in the form of taxes instead of using those money for other useless things that arent beneficial to thier country/economy  .
1831  Economy / Economics / Re: Business / private sector is dead on: July 22, 2020, 09:47:09 PM
If you were referring to big businesses, they were actually not dead and it is somehow impossible to just happen that instant because owners of big businesses are really that rich people already.

If you were referring to small businesses, well I think possibly some or most of them are dead due to the reason that owners did not come up on earning anything during quarantine and they were the ones that is directly affected on the temporary closing that turns out to be permanent because of the quarantine.

small and big business are in the same situation now so why call small business dead ? just because they earn small   ?  but they also know how to save and for sure they have a savings now that help them sustain thier living  .

calling business are dead seems bad to my ears but it would be better if we call them temporary close for now not unless you guys believe that this covid virus are going to be permanent thing in the future and on the current situation  .
1832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest in any cryptocurrencies! on: July 22, 2020, 08:48:50 AM
whats the difference ? earning a crypto the other way around and investing on crypto in the hopes of getting rich are i think the same .

both have goals to hodl and to sell  . the small difference could be complaints because people think that think crypto are get rich scheme will find them selve complain alot while normal earners do complain to sometimes   . lastly your title is a bit missleading   . i thought you are just another basher that hate cryptocurrencies  .
1833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to Sell LEDU on Dcoin!! Fake Volume? on: July 22, 2020, 06:34:14 AM
Explain? What other explanation than, Dcoin is an example of a shit exchange, and exchanges like that are known to leverage highly on trading bots; that is the explanation which I can muster up. If you look more closely and maybe you are someone who might have traded on P2PB2B, you will understand they are same. So I think you will have to look for another exchange the token is listed on and if there is none then try as much as possible to sell; this is also the reason I do not trust most projects listing on exchanges like that one.

how can he possibly sell it if the coin isnt listed else where aside from dcoin  . no one will accept the coin at any cost   . thats also the reason why he ended up on there  .  its okay if he got the coins for free but investing on a kind of these coins are sick  .  id rather buy coins if they are listed on more than one exchange but only to the exchange that is well known or to the ones that  i know   .  the coin ledu and its exchange is definetly new to my eyes so its no surprise that sh8t can always happen to them
1834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "Poker Tournaments" are reopening little by little. on: July 22, 2020, 06:04:10 AM
For too long quarantine and lockdown have taken place, the government must indeed have the courage to take tough decisions by reopening
a companies, shops, malls, cafes, airports and casinos. If this is not done it will be difficult to recovery the economy, there is indeed a risk of
spreading the virus with this policy. But the spread of the corona virus can be minimized by strict rules regarding health protocols. So I am
happy with the news that the poker tournament will reopen little by little, this will make the economy slowly recover.

The government will try hard to prevent spreading the virus to the people, and they will ask every business owner to follow the rules, and they need to think about the people's safety. Sooner or later, the economy will recover, and at that time, the business will have the time to gain trust for their customer, so the customer will not be afraid to go to their place. That is already happening in the gambling industry. Some local casinos in some countries are trying to reopen the business again. Once the vaccine for the virus can found, that will help many people, and they will not have to worry if they want to go to the public area.

government cant stop the virus by himself  but its us people that can do that if we observe proper hygene  . government and its official can only give rules and we must obey that all  because its for our own good  too .

trust for our business isnt related on the virus because youl already trusted if your costumers already knew you and use your service before   . as soon as virus dissapear people will return to live in a normal and expect that business wil be healthy again   .
1835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any successful bounty projects since 2018? on: July 22, 2020, 05:02:08 AM
Since the beginning of 2018 is there any successful ICO projects that give bounty hunters good rewards and yet refused to dump om exchanges?is there any website available to track past succesful bounties since 2018? please drop a few list if you have any

Only one on my radar and that the project Oikos they are still on their IEO and yet they are already listed in the market, this is probably one of the big projects of 2020, it's really hard to find a gem now and those who participated in bounty hunting and invested here are lucky but it's not yet late to invest now.

oh oikos i think i already heard of that but i didnt knew that they are good  . i dont usually look on the coments but i can only scan bounty names  . some stuck on my head and some arent  .  you said oikos is a kind of ieo but the guy was looking for ico  . ieo and ico are kinda different   . you cant say that people who participated here are lucky but you wont know what if they are only pro and know how to look a good project  . its not luck based after all but knowledge have an advantage here
1836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Allegedly Coinbase prevented 1,000 customers From Sending Funds to the Hackers on: July 22, 2020, 03:28:24 AM
this sounds impossible  . with the number of accounts hacked , how will they collect all those address and how can they be able to block sending those funds to that address  . never experienced it to any wallet that i use but they only say that transaction are ireversible and they dont have any control to the funds once you sent it   .  maybe coinbase only give a warning on their page or on thier wallet upon you open it  . thats still fine atleast they are concern compare to other wallet providers out there  .
1837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ask]; Start betting on horse racing gambling. on: July 22, 2020, 02:58:28 AM
Horse racing betting is very popular here in our country there are a lot of off track betting station and you can watch the races in cable television, many people are hooked on this kind of gambling because it's exciting to watch and if you are betting offtrack and in track you will have a lot of tipster, you need to be long time bettor of horse racing and keep track of horses performance, for you to continuously win here.

continously win sounds verry promising  . i wonder why horse racing dont get enough popularity over basketball , baseball , cricket and other more famous sports in the betting section  .

on our local cable tv show there are one channel that telecast horse race  . maybe we can use it to conduct a local betting just for fun because people here on my place are not yet involved in online crypto bettting  but im curious on the so called tipster ,  is that mean games are fixed  ?
1838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope this helps new crypto investors, do not hesitate to read on: July 21, 2020, 05:24:55 PM
If I just have to sum it up for one general rule of thumb, its just to tell you not to invest in any altcoin at all but only BTC.

you can never go wrong with investing only in BTC no matter how little this investment you have as long as its BTC, you will profit from it.

what about those who complain that invest on btc too ? i thought you can profit from btc no matter what ? some cant profit on btc but they can profit on other coins , its only a matter of timing and some luck .

its not good to promote btc alone because alts will become useless  if no one will invest on it but alts are useful too and profitable too
1839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal and Mastercard are very close to integrate crypto’s payments!!! on: July 21, 2020, 08:27:32 AM
maybe we are just one step closer to adoption. However, it might takes as expected, I don't think just because these two big companies decided to jump on the crypto bandwagon we will see an immediate effect, it should not be the case. I agree that we need to look at how the fee are going to be set here, it will be another burden specially for crypto enthusiast.

not close but adoption is there already although we people arent contented with it because adoption for crypto are only under the 80 percent level  . we want over than that and this could be the time that we are waiting for  . of course effect arent imediate because people are going to be  skeptical at first but since the partnership came from trusted brands , it wont take a long time for the people to adjust and embrace this new tandem  . fees would be modified as well because people get used to the less to no fees at all offered by  mastercard and paypal
1840  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic situation declining and famous celebs not paying workers on: July 21, 2020, 07:57:06 AM
That is the problem, if you are actually not making money, that doesn't mean you do not have to pay neither.
Yes, it may sound true but there are things that could be  done to this like helping  each other like cutting salary into which the owner can afford to give. If the owner really does not want to do give the salary to their employee then better to hold first their service render. It is also hard to pay them when the owner has no income at all and no funds to pay for it.
You're right, mate. They have to have a talk first that things are not going well because of the pandemic and their business might not be able to pay them like before. I'm sure their employees will understand the cut in salary because they are well aware of the situation. The most important thing is that they paid their employees. But this is most likely applicable to small businesses.

For those big names, on the other hand, owned by celebrities and not paying up, I don't think their employees deserve that. They should give them their salary because their the ones behind the production of the products that made them rich. Besides, probably that's not the only source of income they have. They're rich because of their profession and not their business alone so they can afford to pay their employees which are in big need in this trying time.

most celebrities that i know dont have a profesion but till the date they joined hollywood or showbizness they start to earn and save up eventually they invest and own a business . they also have a savings in the bank so its impossible that they cant pay   . they can sell thier stuffs too that they dont use alot or already excess like jewelries  , cars , gadgets  .  there so many ways and they cant do alibi's with that  .  paying little by litte is also alright than no payments at all  but as long as they pay on the exact given date
