CoinCollect:

Muhammad had 12 wives in total, 9 of which still alive at his death and all of which married to him. Inform yourself better about your religion!

That's history, not religion

And CoinCollect, are you serious? You posted in Arabic? HAHAHA
1824  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Muslim BS on: September 26, 2014, 12:14:55 AM
we have Strict law when it comes about rapping.

Damn it, what about Lowkey?
1825  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Muslim BS on: September 26, 2014, 12:11:20 AM
CoinCollect, CoinCollect... how to explain this to you?... Under Sharia, not rational even if majority muslim countries - like Malaysia, Indonesia and so, you will need 4 male witnesses to prove rape. Otherwise the woman will be confessing to had extra-marital sex and things will turn ugly... to her.

The 4 witnesses thing came after Aisha, Muhammad's baby-bride, when she was about 13 got lost and was picked by a 15 yo boy and spent the night with him. 3 guys saw it and start talking about the horned prophet, so he came up with 4 witnesses... I wonder if 100 guys saw Aisha with the boy, maybe it would take 101 witnesses or so.
Just cross the Hadeeth with Quran... it turns so clear how much of "as we go" Islam was made of. And there's nothing "holy" to it, Allah knows nothing Muhammad himself didn't knew.
And what to say about the 4 wives limit, when Muhammad had 9 and Allah conveniently made an exception to him. So he kept his 9, the rest only 4...

Do you have a source for that story?

I never read anything like it when I took my religious studies class about two years ago
1826  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sexual objectification of women, what the hell is this? on: September 25, 2014, 11:57:19 PM
Why do people say stupid shit like "Oh, females suffer from the persecution complex!"?

Excuse me.

Women can't:
1) Drive in Saudi Arabia.
2) Vote in Saudi Arabia and the Vatican.
3) Testify in cases of adultery (ie rape) in Yemen.
4) Get an abortion in various parts of the world, including Ecuador (unless if they are an "idiot")
5) Get justice if they get raped. On the contrary, they get blamed for it in places like Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
6) Leave their house without their husband's permission in Yemen.
7) Get "power" degrees (ie degrees in the STEM fields) in various countries around the world.
8 ) Get justice if they were assaulted by an athlete in America.
9) Get justice if they were victims of a gang rape in India.
10) Get justice if they were trafficked to work in the sex trade industry in a foreign country. On the contrary, the US usually deports those who try to seek help, making the situation even worse.

Women are:
1) Still treated like sex objects by the mainstream media.
2) Still underrepresented in science and politics.
3) Still being told what to wear- whether it is through burqa ban laws or compulsory hijab laws.
4) Still forced to marry against their will in various parts of the world.

When was the last time any feminist group screamed and cried to defend their muslim sisters and their rights in public?
Instead you find that $20 bad designed bitgirl's website to be too offensive. "OMG! They used "The"! Can you believe it? "The!" OMG OMG!!!!!!"

Then you would point to how amazingly positive for the cause of women a million $$ website like kink.com is great for the female image, backed by the endorsement of multiple big names in the media on their front page. Not saying "you" as in "The You" posting on bitcointalk" but all people (women and men) sharing that way of thinking.

Hypocrite much?

How am I a hypocrite for criticizing the objectification of women?

Would you like it if there was a picture of you up there, going "How much for the Wilikon?"

You're changing the topic by bringing up kink.com

Trust me. If the picture of The Wilikon was on that website they would lose money.

Regarding kink.com, your reaction is remarkable. The use of "The" is more important, defining what a sexual object a woman can be on a website (made by one dude it seems) none of us heard of than how the women on kink.com are paid to be used at (living urinal pretty much). A website and a location in San Fran, developed and maintained with a budget of hundreds of thousands a year by a full staff.

I thought the main subject of this thread was how women's image as sexual objects was reprehensible.  I do not deny that fact. I was merely pointing to other more famous, bigger money making websites, defended by many feminists as a victory for the image of women, and promoted by the main stream media, on their homepage. How am I changing the topic?

Have you ever visited kink.com? Some women are so flexible they make Mr. Fantastic's sphincter playing with a bowling ball cries with envy...

So, you're implying that because kink.com does it, it's okay in this case? If that was your counter statement (kink.com did it too), it has no relevance in particular to what we're discussing here.

"Sexual objectification of women" - does this mean that men want to fuck women ?

No, objectification is defined as "the seeing and/or treating a person as an object.". Your miserable attempt at trying to justify it by claiming it's biological is disturbing. I'm a man who does not see women like property, so your comparison to castigating a Labrador Retriever for fetching sticks is an abusive analogy.

By spamming us through blockchain transactions, CryptcoMiner is back. But now, it's called Laxotrade.

False WHOIS information as the address belongs to no one. Be careful.

It says that it's registered at 15-22 NEW INN YARD, LONDON, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, EC2A 3EA. However, after further evaluation, I have concluded that this is false. A simple search proved that the address belongs to PROSPERA NOVA LTD, and not to Laxo Trade Ltd as listed. In fact, Laxo Trade Ltd does not seem to have a physical location at all! The address 15-22 NEW INN YARD, LONDON, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, EC2A 3EA seems to be used by major HYIP schemes with different names.

You guys are so lucky that Karl Marx was an atheist. You wouldn't know the evils of the adulterous association of church and state otherwise.

Man still doesn't recognize the evils of bank and state and the atheistic materialism that underlies that system of enslavement.

Atheistic materialism? You mean like the church refusing to pay taxes?

1835  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: September 25, 2014, 07:53:35 PM
Islam supports slavery, Christianity doesn't.

All Abrahamic religions were just fine with slavery.

You may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you.  You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land.  You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance.  You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way.  (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)

If you buy a Hebrew slave, he is to serve for only six years.  Set him free in the seventh year, and he will owe you nothing for his freedom.  If he was single when he became your slave and then married afterward, only he will go free in the seventh year.  But if he was married before he became a slave, then his wife will be freed with him.  If his master gave him a wife while he was a slave, and they had sons or daughters, then the man will be free in the seventh year, but his wife and children will still belong to his master.  But the slave may plainly declare, 'I love my master, my wife, and my children.  I would rather not go free.'  If he does this, his master must present him before God.  Then his master must take him to the door and publicly pierce his ear with an awl.  After that, the slave will belong to his master forever.  (Exodus 21:2-6 NLT)

When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are.  If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again.  But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her.  And if the slave girl's owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter.  If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife.  If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment.  (Exodus 21:7-11 NLT)

1837  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Atheism BS on: September 25, 2014, 07:47:54 PM
If you simply remember that atheism is a religion, and Karl Marx's version is simply a branch of the religion of atheism, everything fits into place like it should.

Smiley

Atheism existed long before Karl Marx

.....
Actually, that would be Christianity.

Don't forget the near extermination of the Natives, the Crusades, the Inquisitions, the mass burning of libraries, books, atheists, and "blasphemous" churches
You've really made a lot of pretty wild statements.  Maybe you should substantiate those with some actual facts?  Just tossing around phrases does not support an argument.

Psalms 137:9 - "Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks"
Real life - "[The Spaniards] took [Native] babies from their mothers' breasts, grabbing them by their feet and smashing their heads against rocks."

The rest is all common knowledge.
The assertion you made was as follows:

Assertion by other party:
This is true. Islam is by far the most violent religion that the world has ever experienced. Even their teachings advocate violence while other religions preach peach and understanding of others

Your response:
Actually, that would be Christianity.

Don't forget the near extermination of the Natives, the Crusades, the Inquisitions, the mass burning of libraries, books, atheists, and "blasphemous" churches

Anecdotal evidence does not prove, or even buttress, your assertion.

No other religion comes close to a 100 million people genocide
