1821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar world cup Final Predictions on: December 17, 2022, 04:50:45 PM
Several fans expected with Argentina ability to win World Cup comparison with Spain in the World Cup 2010 era where get beaten at first match and later success lead as the winner. Actually, Argentina have the same way with Spain success win World Cup tittle in 2010 because first game loss from Saudi Arabia and later won two matches in group stages.

I have personally seen Argentina attempt to fail in the group stage of two World Cups but come out strongly to a group of 16, the first one in 2018, they couldn't make it to the final, and here is another one now but this time they successfully make it out of the group stage and would be having their final match tomorrow. Perhaps the World Cup of 2022 will be different since Messi would be having his final moments with Argentina, and I hope he really makes it as his final dream.

Quote
I don't sure with all myth have coming true, looking with France success destroy myth about defense national team can't qualify from group stage but France as the first national team from World Cup 2002 until 2018 can lead not only from group stage but also have achievement until final stage, one step closer with France get second time in a row with World Cup trophy.

I believe the recent World Cup has given France a lot of confidence going into tomorrow's match. France's matches weren't as difficult as people had expected, perhaps because of their group or because they were simply favorites. If Argentina loses tomorrow, it will favor Mbape, who will go down in history as the only player to have won two consecutive World Cups for France.
1822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 17, 2022, 03:54:22 PM
That's right, events on the ground are unpredictable. Argentina and France both have chances to win, the match will be difficult for both. We will watch Croatia vs Morocco in soon, we can enjoy today's match to watch because they will fight for third place. It will be an interesting match, both teams are equally strong.
Very hard to predict which team that will be winning the game. Im feeling so headache to pick one from both caused by bookies gave almost similar odds. There are no huge gaps with the odds between croatia and morocco. Both have a very good odds at this moment. I have decided to pick croatia over morocco caused by croatia has more experience compared with morocco. Remember that in the last world cup croatia able to be qualified for the final but that's very sad to say that if croatia got defeated by france at final.
I think that croatia more capable compared with morocco to winning this game. There are many people have been waiting for another match from the world cup and we will almost reach the end of world cup.

Initially, I thought the Morocco match against Croatia would be very hard to decide, both teams ball possession was not quite different with just a fair margin but after the first half, I am skeptical if the Morocco I once knew will be able to win the third place because after both teams scored their early goals, Croatia change its game and now doesn't want to give Morocco a single chance, Croatia defensive players know how to communicate and the forward are very skilled in pass accuracy, I have this feeling that Croatia will win this match with 3 goals to 1 by the end of the day.
1823  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ? on: December 16, 2022, 03:47:37 PM
It's easier said than done, and I'm surprised you didn't include a health bill or insurance. A job that pays $3,000 per month is not a joke, it will require your strength, mind, brain, and focus, and as a result, you will be stressed out at the end of the day, and stress upon stress weakens the body, probably causing breakdown and endangering your health, I believe good health is a good wealth, and it should be included.

Now, your estimates depend on where you live. I can survive on $500 in food, but if I buy everything I need for cooking, I will save even more. However, you cannot expect someone living in a well developed country in a city to survive on $500 per month, I doubt if it will last a month.

Well, I actually thought about adding health bill/insurance cost but withdrew. The reason was very simple: we consider to be young at that age range and if we don't execise and take care of our body, we won't survive any job because nowadays the competition is fierce. But back to my calculation, even you add this extra cost, let's say $100 per month, $1,000 can also be saved.

An average guy that has a genotype AA will want to work his ass off to get that $3k per month job but unfortunately, you can't survive that way here in Nigeria because you will one way or the other suffer mosquitoes bite, I personally speak from experience. There is no month that goes by without treating Malaria, not because I'm careless, I take the necessary precaution, fleet my room but you know, a single bite of mosquito has enough plasmodium to break you down. What am I saying, not all exercise can make you healthy, there are some things you cannot avoid and should be taken into consideration if you want to talk about reality.
1824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 16, 2022, 03:23:46 PM
Yes, the Barcelona legend has won various titles. Now Messi is on track to claim the crown for best player at this year's World Cup after his stunning form and victory in the final would cap his main ambition of winning the World Cup to cap a truly extraordinary career. If Messi wins the championship and also the individual title at the biggest tournament, then he is the most phenomenal footballer in the universe.
Now Argentina really has to fight for the World Cup title that is in sight. At the moment individual achievements are less important than the achievements of the Argentine team, so I think Messi will put aside his personal achievements as much as possible to help Argentina win the title.

I think Messi has been neutral so far in this world cup and I think despite being the highest goal scorer for Argentina, only Griezmann come close to second with assists after Messi, he is versatile judging from all the effort he made to help Julian Alvarez in the last match. The goal is to make his name for this Trophy in honor of Argentina, and I hope the referee doesn't act like the one that handles the game against Croatia.

Quote
So far, Argentina's performance has been very good. They didn't reach the final as smoothly as France, but Argentina has proven itself in the final. Beating France will never be easy, but I'm sure Messi and company will do their best. The chances are the same, but I really hope Messi can close his fight in this World Cup with a title.

The shuffle after the round of 16 didn't favour Argentina but despite the bumpy road, they come true and this will serve as a strong hand for them by the time they meet with France, the match between Morocco and  France wasn't that interesting when compared to Argentina with Croatia, I think we know the winner of the World cup already.
1825  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ? on: December 15, 2022, 05:43:53 PM
If you are in twenties or early thirties and remain single, earn $3,000 after tax per month, you will probably save $1,000 if you, let's say, spend $500 to $800 on rental, a guest bedroom in a shared house/apartment, $500 on food, $50  on utilities, $150 on phone/internet bills, $400 on commuting costs or gas/maintainance if you have a used car, $200 on occasional entertainment or others. This $1,000 savings will allow you to invest or place a house down payment when time is ripe. Is this possible based on where you live ?

It's easier said than done, and I'm surprised you didn't include a health bill or insurance. A job that pays $3,000 per month is not a joke, it will require your strength, mind, brain, and focus, and as a result, you will be stressed out at the end of the day, and stress upon stress weakens the body, probably causing breakdown and endangering your health, I believe good health is a good wealth, and it should be included.

1826  Economy / Economics / Re: Only one way to save people now on: December 15, 2022, 05:21:32 PM
The solution is Simple leave fiat banks and go crypto.
Until there is no Fiat eur or GBP Stable coins we can use as central reserve Stable currency USDT.

Goverment and Banks failed so leave them and let them sink in their own mess what they created.

To be honest, crypto is not the only way to go about the economic downfall, banks owned by organizations and governments have consistently failed the people, crypto has also benefited the people significantly, but it does have some drawbacks.
Just look at the entire crypto market, do you think the world will cope in that manner? I mean, waking up and seeing that the $100 you were planning to use to buy a launch has lost half its value due to minor news that occurred in just a few hours; believe me, the economy would be worse than it is now. Bitcoin was intended to be a peer-to-peer electronic or, perhaps more accurately, digital asset that would be good against inflation but would not necessarily be widely adopted as a monetary currency.
1827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FTX drama stressing people for no reason | How to stay neutral on: December 15, 2022, 04:40:12 PM
What contributed to the Youtube negativity was that the majority of them were all affected and I think the fight was between the Influencers and retailers due to some altcoins SBF invested in and the ones they bought and left on the exchanges, what even makes it worse is that most of the Twitter and Youtube influencers got affected because there life savings where wipe away from their balance in the FTX exit exchange, remember FTX got them with huge bonuses and they all felt for it
They were busy shilling for the FTX exchange, they keep pilling up the bonus but greed didn't allow them to withdraw them and when the exchange becomes insolvent overnight, they all became sleepless with the bear market. One bitcoin remains one, all this market winter doesn't change the narrative of bitcoin.
1828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too many chickens own BTC. Don't be a chicken, HODL! BE A LION. on: December 15, 2022, 04:21:31 PM
This is the real issue BTC is facing. Chickens get afraid and sell even if they lose their money. They don't even understand how crypto works.

I've never sold a satoshi since 2013. I know BTC will rise back and one day will hit the 100k and beyond. In a way I'm glad this is happening, more strong hands and less chickens. HODL! Hoping to buy more if it gets down to 10k.

Haven't even heard about FTX until now lol. This shows how panicked I am Grin

1 BTC = 1 BTC. That's all you need to know. Less drama, live longer.

The day this post was published, the price of bitcoin fell as low as $15,000. This wasn't a flash crash, but rather FUD that caused many traders to sell their positions and close them. Today, the price of bitcoin is trading at around $17,000. This represents a 2-k profit for traders with large amounts of capital, such as margin and futures traders. I am aware that there is much to gain from holding bitcoin for an extended period of time while ignoring fears, doubts, and uncertainty, but trust me when I say that a skilled trader would rather profit from market trends than hold.

And again, if I had the guts to hold onto Bitcoin from 2013, by this point I would have a solid understanding of how the markets operate and would sell at a price around $60k, see what happened, and then buy it back, or sell half and buy it back to have more bitcoin.
1829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Physical Bitcoin Shop in Port Harcourt (Nigeria) on: December 15, 2022, 03:52:56 PM
Was having a walk around Port Harcourt Yesterday if I can see something I can get for myself as a birthday present when I came across a Bitcoin shop by the roadside, out of curiosity I walked inside the shop, and ask if they sell  and buy Bitcoin which they said yes..
I ask for rate and they said #712 per 1$ which is lower than what I usually buy online, I said okay I want to buy 1000$ which they calculated it to be a total of 720,000.000 in my local currency.
An account was given to me which was a personal accounts, I then asked why the account don't have the business name, they said it was because of the regulation in the country to avoid story that touches.

It's great to see another physical merchant around PH, I believe this will save many people who dislike selling bitcoin online, as well as people who come across WhatsApp vendors who turn out to be scammers. I hope merchants take precautions as well, because while holding and conducting bitcoin business in public may draw a lot of attention, it may also draw the attention of armed robbers or thieves in the neighborhood especially if they don't have security personnel.

What I don't understand is the rate they sold bitcoin for you, most of the physical vendors would sell at high prices considering the risk they are taking and buy at lower prices, currently dollar to Naira is traded around #750/$ but you were able to buy at a cheap rate or are they doing some kind of discount sales especially now that we have December at the corner.

By a score of two, Argentina scored against Croatia. I Am astonished and shocked that Argentina scored Croatia after picking Croatia to win consecutively. The fact that their opening goal was a penalty gave them a leg up to score a good goal, which they accomplished. Although I don't like Messi or Argentina after what happened to Portugal, I prayed and hoped for Croatia to score in the second half to tie the score. This world cup is one of the finest ones I've ever watched, full of entertaining and challenging to forecast.
I also placed my bet on Croatia. But it looks like Argentina really excel in this match. Croatia lost the ball more often in this match. maybe the mentality of the Croatian players was a little disturbed after the goal from the penalty in the first half. now is the 67th minute and the score is still 2-0 with the advantage of Argentina.

I am not sure what gave you confidence to place your bet on Croatia despite that both of them won Quarterfinals with penalties that favored them but I think it was easy to choose between Argentina and Croatia because naturally, Argentina is a full package team that are hungry for this World Cup, they have the strongest defense, forwards with the most speed and midfielder with good attacking.

Just 8 minutes to go till end of the match and Croatia is still struggling to make a goal, with this little time, it will be very difficult for them to equalize 3 goals, looking forward to see Argentina in the Final.
1832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why every casino got bad habits? on: December 13, 2022, 08:08:33 PM
How do you define bad? I think that is subjective to players or users. I can choose a casino and become their loyal player without making a change for whole year as long as they don’t disappoint or deprive me of their services, it is also possible at the same time that another player from the same casino can choose the same but may encounter one or two problems that is sometimes above their power and it may be as a result of the player trying to outplay their terms and conditions.

You made mention of withdrawal delays, I think these are process manually and the reason why I think these may occur can be as a result of either the technical team in charge run into issues or the player has been flag suspicious if they don’t see transparency in the history of all his bets. These can result when they suspect a player doing dubious things on their casino.
1833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Two Gambling Stories on: December 13, 2022, 11:19:15 AM
It's really justifiable that the girl would get some of the winnings of his boyfriend because it is her money to begin with. If it weren't for her fund, then the guy won't probably win that kind of amount. It's also a form of token of appreciation for her if ever the guy will give her some wholeheartedly. It shouldn't even be an issue if they are really comfortable with one another and wants each other to be successful in the future together.

Money matters should really be talked upon. Agreement not only verbally, but written with the presence of a lawyer is essential most especially if the amount involved is big and you can't afford to lose it. Money can be a source of greediness so we should always be careful on who we will trust.

The relationship was built on money, not love, and that is exactly what both of them demonstrated, but the lady displayed more greed on her own side. I thought sometimes relationships do lead to marriage if the couples succeed, which can be done through understanding, but this situation begs for separation, however, my stand remains the same, she can't decide what the guy must give her, even if the guy used her money in the first place. What if the guy loses the bet in the first place? She wouldn't have the authority to ask the guy to double the money, and even if a jury is supposed to rule on this case, the guy will win.
1834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: turned gambler after investing in BTC or investor turned gambler? on: December 13, 2022, 11:01:10 AM
Which one has a high possibility of happening, a gamer eventually becomes a gambler or an investor turns into a gambler?
But first, answer the poll which are you. Are you a gambler that become an investor or an investor that turned into a gambler?

I go for the two options!
A gamer can become a responsible gambler for the sake of passion, time spent, and the joy of winning, but this is dependent on how the boy handles it from the start. The same goes for bitcoin investors, the bitcoin orientation you receive from the start determines whether you will remain true investors or have gambling in your gene. I'm not sure why people are afraid of gamers these days turning into addicted gamblers, I remember hanging out as a kid at a gaming house with my friends for fun, betting against each other, and my parents didn't see the big picture of us becoming gamblers at the end of the day, but today parents are afraid that their children will become gamblers.
1835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would be an ideal KYC solution? on: December 13, 2022, 10:23:40 AM
Fortunately I will say that a casino verification is something that will determine or attest that this person is credible and also part of the platform by 4 ft documentation to the platform but some people do not like to accept some verification of kyc in a platform because I find it very difficult to verify why it is something that protect you from having a miss found in your account
KYC is good most time to verify the identities of users and need to be less for requirements. Some casinos asking for KYC do have another purposes for this which is why many gamblers do not like to use a KYC casinos. I can see that some of the verification is to ensure the users identities so that there will be less complains from users a out account problem or difficulties.

I'm going to quote both of you for shitposting and spamming the thread with your never-ending 1xbit signature. Did 1xbit tell you to tell people that an Identify account would aid in the identification of people's funds? That is deceptive, and please refrain from disseminating false information. What happened to the emails and mobile numbers they all requested? I believe the same 1xbit has that option, as well as an ID number for each player/user.

KYC is a choice, and I will continue to refuse it. Only if you know how the mini war that has been going on with Binance and some users on Twitter space these few days, you would not want anyone to know your identity because they will come after you both online and offline, you must not trust anyone with your documents.
1836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would be an ideal KYC solution? on: December 12, 2022, 04:58:43 PM
KYC is a never-ending debate, but we all know what we want in this space, no KYC is a freedom you can't buy from anyone, it is an indispensable element for users regardless of the casino's benefits. Money laundering in casinos can be reduced by limiting the number of withdrawals unless the casino does so and uses the players as the victims.

Just a few hours ago, Cointracker users emails were leaked due to some carelessness on the team's part, and the users are angry and want to sue the company for allowing their data to be exposed, the same scenario can happen to Casino if it has not already happened, nobody can properly save your documents the way you do, and the moment they are uploaded to the internet, that is the end of your privacy.
1837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar world cup Final Predictions on: December 12, 2022, 04:39:55 PM
1. Argentina vs Croatia
2. France Vs Morocco
Argentina can win this game and France can win second.  Because if you compare the FIFA ranking, Argentina is much stronger than Croatia and France is much stronger than Morocco.  However, this semi-final place is spread in the minds of the audience. You must comment on who will win and lose.  Because this game will be a bone-to-bone fight that the audience is waiting for.  Since Argentina has the best star in the world, Croatia does not have that strong star.  However, Argentina is far ahead in this respect.
Yes Argentina and France two teams are much stronger than those Morocco and Croatia but still we can't guarantee for Argentina and France final because we have already seen many amazing things happened in this year world cup like Argentina lost to Saudi Arabia in 1st match despite being strong team. We can only hold our forecast as a guess but we can never guarantee anything

I know anything things like this do happen, nobody expected Argentina to lose to Saudi Arabia in Round 1 but you know it was the beginning and they believed that there was still hope for them which really happened at the end of the day, the Saudi Arabia that were jubilating that day, where are they currently? they didn't make it to the round of 16 and Argentina did and not just that alone, they are going for their semi-final tomorrow.

The Croatia you are rooting for won just a single match out of 5 matches they have played, if not that Saudi Arabia was eliminated, their drawn matches of single points wouldn't bring them here, I believe it will take Argentina 45 minutes to see their stand in this tournament.
1838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambing Halal or Haram According to Jewish Or Christian Faith? on: December 12, 2022, 03:55:12 PM
I know that this is very silly and religious question but I think that this should be Discussed.
According to me, As I am Muslim, Gambling is Haram and there are very reasons behind this. And also I do not much about another religions. But if someone has knowledge about that if Gambling is allowed or prohibited in Jewish or Christ Faith. And I think many people have many mind sets.
I do not want to hurt someone's feeling by talking about Religious Comments.

Well, according to Islam, gambling disassociates people from Allah's way. For instance, when a gambler is determined to play and the time for prayer comes, he wouldn't want to stand up even when it is time for prayers, which is why it is prohibited. However, I believe that gambling was different in the past compared to how it is now. I'm not trying to modernize Muslims, I just think that their practices were different.

I'm a fan of the sport, it will only take me a few minutes to place my bets with a bookmaker following after analysis. After that, whatever happens, is out of my control, and I don't believe it will have an impact on my salat or prayers. Qatar hosted the World Cup this year despite the fact that they are an Islamic nation, even though they are aware that it will encourage gambling, it should be seen as entertainment rather than a sin.
1839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 12, 2022, 10:53:00 AM
many people predict that Argentina can win this year and I don't dismiss it, the big advantage for Messi is that the Argentina squad is very evenly distributed in every line so that it makes an advantage for him to achieve big ambitions for himself in football, namely to win the world cup.

Argentina is talented with a diverse group of players who are all determined to play alongside Messi one day, and since Messi is also determined to give his country its last world cup, that makes them twice as determined. You should notice how protective the squad is around Messi both on and off the field, possibly because they know he is always an assist for every player in the team.

Quote
if we look at Messi's game statistics, he wasn't very good in the match, it was all caused by his old age, but this team is very solid and has good players on all fronts.
I'm sure it will be a sweet goodbye for Messi to leave the world of football, he deserves it.

As the greatest player of all time, I believe his statistics in this World Cup have improved from 7 to 9 to 8 points with an average of 8, which is still not bad. However, Mbape is currently ahead of him, so I'm not sure if he will win the golden boot.
1840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar world cup Final Predictions on: December 12, 2022, 10:20:47 AM
I don't know how Morocco will play their next game. But I can imagine that Morocco will not perform very well in the next match. Morocco team is strong. After that I doubt that Morocco team has played well in almost every match. But in the next match.  I am really worried about how he will play. I like the game of the goalkeeper of the Morocco team very much.

Bounou, Morocco's goalkeeper, is unquestionably good, from the way he handled the pressure from Pepe, Ronaldo, and Bruno Fernandez in the few minutes to the end of the match, Portugal got it wrong in their formation, which is why they couldn't penetrate their defensive system even with small chances, but with what they pulled off that day, I'm a bit skeptical for Morocco against France, the forward three men of France like Mbape, Dembele, and Griezman are the type that doesn't let go of opportunity and with how they've played all this time, it wasn't by penalty but fair wining of goals, I really doubt if Morocco will win this semi-final match.
