1823  Economy / Services / Re: I need a Ip x to weather y at time z query! 10 BTC bounty on: May 10, 2012, 03:51:52 PM
Hi,

I have about 4 days of chat data (roughly 70 chats a day), along with the chatter's IP addresses.

I need a script or program to tell me what the weather was like at the location of the IP, at the time of the chat.

The script must look-up the location of the IP using a Geo location database, then take that location and look-up the weather at the time of chat.

I do not want the script to make a lot of queries as it may get blocked from submitting further queries, but 50 queries at a time should be OK.

The data is available in:
HTML
XML
XLS
CSV

FTFY

Now its much easier to read!
1824  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New application ***www.fiveminutecoin.com*** on: May 10, 2012, 01:03:03 PM
Whenever I wait 5 minutes, and then click on "CLICK HERE TO GET SOME COINS...", I'm unable to type my adress into the textbox. I've tried it in a few browsers, I simply can't click on the textbox.

i'm guessing the part that says WaitSeconds should actually tell me how many seconds are left, not just say WaitSeconds.

I tried it many times.. and IT DOES show the seconds left!!

Sounds like you may have some issues with different browsers. It did display wait x seconds for me though.
1825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Where are my coins? on: May 09, 2012, 04:12:00 PM
This usually happens when you make a transaction but don't include any transaction fee. Sometimes you get lucky, other times no miners decide to include it in a block so it doesn't get confirmed.

Best thing to do is instead of sending without transaction fee, just pay a 1 satoshi fee. You'll usually still get your transaction confirmed by doing that (most of the time anyways).
1826  Economy / Marketplace / Re: GLBSE DOWN !? on: May 09, 2012, 02:26:26 PM
Get GLBSE on the GLBSE so we can pay for a dedicated server Grin

It actually used to be on it but its gone now, wonder if people still get their dividends.

I suppose I'd have no problem storing my 120 PB of data on this web hosting account?

Looks like you owe him a million sand dollars, which is roughly worth $3,000,000.

They're apparently worth more than I thought.

I have to retract my bid of 2BTC. It was made almost a month ago, no longer want the domain + there have been changes in BTC price since then.

I wonder has anybody paid the 20BTC signup fee yet. I bet everyone that uses it using the free BETA accounts.

http://zipconf.com

This will be the solution for 0 confirmation transactions. This service will only work with exchanges at the moment, but its only a matter of time before BitPay or coinDL use a similar system to protect them from double-spends.
1834  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Intel HD Graphics on: May 03, 2012, 03:52:21 PM
LOL, you may be the first person to estimate even less than I would have.

It only has 16 stream processors, and the 5830 has 1600 stream processors.

My CPU has 64 stream processors (or can do 64 parallel computations) and I only get ~7Mhash, I'd be surprised if the Intel HD got over 5 Mhash.
1835  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Intel HD Graphics on: May 03, 2012, 10:29:23 AM
Here is my best guess:
2. Intel HD Graphics = 3-10 mhash

That seems a bit optimistic IMO. I'm guessing it would be around 500khash.

1837  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin-Central - why don't people use this exchange?? on: May 03, 2012, 09:23:52 AM
Change banks... If your bank charges you for free stuff and you let them do it, that tells me more about you than about your bank.
I lived in several european countries for the last 6 years, and consequently have bank accounts in all of them, and the only time I get to pay fees is if I go the bank and send it trough the cashier. All transfers made using internet banking services(which all banks have) are free.

Your bank doesn't charge you anything? My bank does, Mt Gox's bank in Poland does as well, also aurumxchange's bank...

1839  Economy / Marketplace / Re: CoinURL.com: shorten links and earn Bitcoins on: May 02, 2012, 02:00:30 PM
Wow. A big improvement.

You should also allow advertiser to pay per thousands impressions, rather than pay per day, and also pay publishers per thousand impressions too, its much easier to work with like that. With the current system, if I pay 1BTC how do I know how many views I'll get?
1840  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Bitcoin Block explorer & Currency Statistics on: May 02, 2012, 01:51:38 PM
Life is so much harder without blockchain.info
* Blazr prays it comes back online soon
