1821  Other / Meta / Re: What happened with user fbeyvgnobo? on: January 04, 2023, 04:16:56 AM
Maybe it's just a glitch?
It has some glitches. I saw many times but can not explain what they were. Only can recall that sometimes it shows a user was removed from DT2 but actually he was not removed. The reliable source is loyce.club but I think he update the list after every one week.

After days of trying to solve this puzzle, I give up Smiley

So, as a sum-up:
- The Pharmacist became The Sceptical Chemyst, while previously being named, for a short while, as fbeyvgnobo
- The Pharmacist does not exist anymore
- fbeyvgnobo still exists.

Does anyone know how this is possible? (Or, in case I understood everything wrong, can someone explain the entire situation to me?)
Wait is it related?
I read somewhere a newbie account took the name The scaptical Chemyst when TP wanted it. Obviously Theymos had to change the username of that newbie before giving it to TP. Something might happen in this transition period.
1822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys bet on sports or casinos more? on: January 04, 2023, 04:05:06 AM
I very rarely bet on sports. I bet more on casino games, and lately slots more than anything else. I hadn't played slots for years and I see that there is a great variety of them to enjoy.
You should be playing Candy crush and Temple run games 🤣. What part of these games do you enjoy? The background music? I used to love Mario although that was a skilled game not like the slots available on the casinos.

By any chance are you a woman/girl? 😉

To be honest roulette is addictive, knowing that I am going to lose I used to be triggered to chase the lose.
1823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 04, 2023, 03:57:06 AM
Brentford are quickly becoming our bogey team, although we've been awful all season. I didn't catch the game unfortunately, but it sounds like we've been absolutely awful since the world cup, just as we were before it.
We showed some performance against Aston Villa in the first match after World cup. Nunez's miss chances did not look that important because in the match we always was ahead. But the last two matches obviously were different. It makes me angry.

I am still hooked because of the position on the pool. If it was like the World cup prediction pool, leading from the bottom part of the pool then I would give up to follow the season anymore and scheduled my time for CL only, wast of time. But anyway, I enjoyed Utd match. I had a 3 - 0 to win for them and when Rashford scored the third goal, I was like don't score anymore boys, pass the balls to each others and spend rest of the 10 minutes maximum including the extra time.

In the Arsenal vs Newcastle match I was stupid not to change it to a draw. I had 1 - 1 in mind but since whenever I pick a draw which I hardly do, I find myself picked the wrong leg so I gave the advantage to the home team. Regret.

If there are 2 Yellow Cap winners in a given Round, they both win the prize.
For Round 18, both mole0815 and jayce each win a 2 mbtc Free Bet  Smiley
Free Bets have been credited 💰 Good Luck!
Thanks a lot J, that's another generous act by Sportsbet and you Cheesy

So officially last round was my first yellow cap
That was generous from Sportsbet as always.
I am yet to have a cap. The last one was sometimes in the last season although I did not claim that free bet LOL.

Apparently your Spanish ass, didn’t get the memo or something. The Canadians sure did!
I am sure you are not Cryptohunter aka CH. Your level seems higher than him. You are not nullius or are you? May be you changed the style and formatting of your posts. What mission do you have? Apparently what do you gain?

1827  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion - to Founders and Admins, Create a ChildBoard "Games in Blockchain" on: January 03, 2023, 03:27:25 AM
We already have! Announcements (Altcoins) is the board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0

Yeah, my point is about Real Games in Blockchain, i believe this is bigger, and create a ChildBoard about that, as mining, will be great to forum.
It's very simple, if the game is on Bitcoin then Gambling board and if it's altcoin chain then as I said above, it goes to altcoin section.
1828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 03, 2023, 03:21:29 AM
This was a perfect example of the game were possession gets you nothing, [...] fast players up front to catch Liverpool high line, very simple and very effective against this Liverpool.
It's an easy tactic against Liverpool. Few days ago someone were saying something that Liverpool defense is poor and they know it that's why they are always into score more but it eventually create counter attack situations. Liverpool concede goals. The number of opportunity Nunez gets if he can capitalize even half of them then opponents will be in pressure. Game plan changes. But like you said, it seems we are cursed now.

This season I think for them is already over in the Premier League so whatever happens happens.
At least CL qualification is not over but the way we are progressing, who knows may be next year I will have to watch CL without Liverpool.

We can start small as trust builds we can do large amount this will ensure both parties interests.
A scammer will first trade (for example) $50, $100, $200 or even $1000 first few days. They will build a good relation with you. One day you will send large amount of money for example $10k. You will not hear any response from them anymore. I think having a mentality of building trust for both parties are very risky for trading online.

I will always, suggest to use escrow service when you are trading crypto currency online. There will be some fees but it's worth for the safety.
1831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys bet on sports or casinos more? on: January 03, 2023, 02:57:09 AM
I personally bet on sports 95% of the time because you can actually make money on it.
99.99% in sports. Very occasionally on Roulette. The slots games, I have no idea how to play and why people play. Instead of playing the slot games, I am happy to play Candy Crash LOL

I can't understand why people would waste their crypto on casinos where the odds and algorithms are stacked against you.
End of the day, it's computer program. They programmed it to make them money.

I just need to find a trustworthy sportsbook who will not only accept the bet but pay me too.
My recommendation is : Stake, sportsbet.io, fortuneJack.com

I've heard and read too many horror stories.
If you're breaking their rules you will have a horror story so avoid breaking their rules, I highly recommend Betcoin.ag to get the best experience.
I think for Horror stories I will only blame the users. Reputable sportsbook are paying their users as long as the use is fair. I have a long history of gambling but I never faced any such horror story.
1832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Multisig 2 of 3 recovery question on: January 03, 2023, 02:44:38 AM
What happens if somehow I totally lose access to one of these seedphrases/elements, zpub included (even the common one).
Let's say Bob, Alice and Diana are the 3 owner of the 3 key. Both have their seed-phrase which are private to them and the muster public key is known to all. If Diana lose her seed-phase. Bob and Alice can move the funds. Bob and Alice had public master key of Diana.

Quote
Let's say I somehow end up in a situation where I will have access to only two seedphrases, are these enough to create a 2 of 2 multisig that has similar properties or will that 3rd element still be needed?
When I read it I get two angles to answer.
1. Diana lost her seed-phrase and everything. But bob and Alice have her Public Master key. This is not a problem as we already discussed
2. Bob and Alice both lost Diana's Public Master Key (Unlikely, isn't it?). Bob and Alice, none can restore the 2 of 3 wallet because it will ask Diana's Public Master Key. The wallet is not accessible anymore.

Quote
Are 2 out of 3 seeds enough to generate that same address tree if I try to use them to make a 2 out of 2 setup?
2 out of 3 setup, and 2 out of 2 setup are two different setup for two different wallet.

1833  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does someone get bitcoin in the first place on: January 03, 2023, 02:24:33 AM
You already got few suggestions.
Truth is you can buy bitcoin online from anyone. But you have to make sure that you are not getting scammed. There are scammers around. Whenever you are buying bitcoin, always use escrow. Escrow as escrow agency or individuals. I don't have much idea about the exiting agencies but there are many users on the forum who will be happy to offer you their service for cheap cost.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2439910.0
The above you will find a list of them.

The best way to buy bitcoin is to find people who live in your local. In your county if bitcoin does not have a legal issue then meet people on Facebook and invite them to meet you in person to buy sell bitcoin with you. Don't go for large sum at the beginning and do these things in public place for your safety.
1834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 02, 2023, 08:15:09 PM
About Darwin Nuņez, unusual, he miss all and the only one who make the goal its disowned, its that time when you dont know how but cant make a goal.
May be Nunez needs to work harder, hardly missing one or two is fine but when it becomes a habit then you are sending negative spirit to rest of the team. Team mates will lose confidence and they will hesitate to deliver the ball. The whole Liverpool unit needs to improve if they don't want to lose more matches.

What difference does it make, from which side to look at it? The forum rules clearly define plagiarism as text without acknowledgment of the source. Everything else is subjective reflections and does not apply to the very essence of plagiarism on the forum.
You yourself gave your answer when you said everything else is subjective. Remember the forum rules are not official. The mods do not agree with something do not mean it's wrong. Your case was not black and white, it does not matter who brought it in front of us. It was a gray practice (mods were not clearly instructed that why you got the pass) but anyway let's not pull it from the past and continue off-topic. It's gone far from the present.

Let the new year bring you happy and prosperous life brother.

Don't you find it hypocritical that in my trust you write to me that I'm a whore, and in the comments you put a handshake emoticon and call me brother?
Don't you think you pushed it too hard. You could be nice and ask it nicely. I did not even check what I wrote on your trust page (I don't need to check too) when I was making my last post. You guys really need to stop pushing hard to check feedback page and your trust list all the time. Having a place in DT and having a lot of green feedback does not make you any better than everyone else. Bare in mind, there are many people who never cared for all these things, if we did then with the years in the community many of us could have over 100+ green feedback and a long list of DT inclusion. That's not why you are in the forum.

Let's not address you as my brother. You are just a name around the corner. I hope it makes you feel a bit better. It was obviously a hypocrisy.
1836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 02, 2023, 07:40:39 PM
Disappointing result from Liverpool. Opening match of the year and we lost against Brentford and with two goals difference.

In the last match if there were no own goals then we would lose against Leicester. When Tottenham lost the match other day, we had a very good chance to close the gap but we wasted it again. Now it looks like top 4 will be harder for us. Good thing is still there are many matches to go but if we do not fix our problems then we are going to lose more matches. Nothing is going right with us at the moment.

Today's tips I have sent extra thoughtful because from now on I want to win regularly.
0 - 2 for Liverpool was not a bad choice but it's a good start to win regularly 😉
Average Joe tip: I like to avid overthinking 😂. I always do my worst when take too much mental pressure for selecting my picks.

And Ratimov, although I know his pasts, does have useful posts and topics imho, so unignoring him should be a plus.
Yes he does. Everyone have their mistakes. A second/third chance makes them better.

The fact that some offended person (who did not have the courage to write from his main account) accused me of plagiarism does not mean that I was given another chance. Plagiarism with all the right links? - wow, this is a sensation. It is a pity (for the accuser and all those who supported him), not one plagiarism could be found. Some people try to present the events that happened as the fact that after the accusation, I began to write only my own lyrics. But this is a lie.
9 and 6 are look alike. It depends on which side you are looking at. It's a past, let us learn to forget it and move on. Let the new year bring you happy and prosperous life brother. Happy new year. 🤝
1838  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: January 01, 2023, 06:41:16 PM
We would love to hear feedback from all bitcointalk members!
A genuine gambler will not look for bonus or any sorts of promotions. They will only look for the limit they have. If you have higher limit and allow them to stake high then you will find many gamblers registering with you.

But consider that you have enough bankroll to pay the winners when they win big. For new registrations, if you have registration bonus like 150% of deposit or 200% of deposit with some wagering requirement, then anyone will like it. However don't make it like maximum $100 or $200 LOL. Deposit x and get x bonus without any higher cap. Have a decent wagering requirement to project your business. If I was a gambling company owner then I would focus on deposit bonus more than anything else.

Nice, although you had an oddly small list  Grin
It's been long years I am here but I never felt any anger, hate towards anyone except once or twice. If you check my feedback leaving activity you will see the same. Even my reporting status (right now it's only 17) will give you a good idea.

This an open space, people will make mistakes, none of us are their babysitter. But when anything is too wrong and obvious case of wrongdoing only then we are may be losing our patience. We have our agreements and disagreements but we all have one identity, one common thing which is Bitcoin. I am happy to be a part of the biggest idea of the century and I will love to see many more people are joining us in the future to build an army of Bitcoin supporters.

August 2022
Aug 8. BitcoinGirl.Club vs JollyGood drama.
It was started from Bitlucy case, but there's a heat between BitcoinGirl.Club and JollyGood since they have different opinion about it. First BitcoinGirl.Club leave red tag to JollyGood and then JollyGood leave red tag to BitcoinGirl.Club, since BitcoinGirl.Club think he doesn't deserve to get red tag, he open a thread to ask to the communities. However the result is JollyGood revised his feedback from negative to neutral while BitcoinGirl.Club still stand with his negative feedback.

Nice collection Helena Yu so there's never a boring month on bitcointalk Smiley
It never will be LOL
The feedback was given in wrong time but unfortunately that was the time when I noticed it too. If it's hard to justify then anyone can look at the feedback on the user starmyc. We had some PM conversation and it was clear that justice was not severed to starmyc. JollyGood was taking the advantage of the situation with the red tag he left. He even did not pay the guy for the work. Eventually starmyc decided to leave the forum and focus on the things he is good at. He is now a successful software engineer as far as I understand from the PMs he sent me.

The kind of things JollyGood does on the forum is obviously not good for the growth of the community as well as for individual members who are still working to establish a position in the community. Talking about it here will be off-topic so we better skip details.
