1821  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the general issues/problems do traders or investors usually face during on: January 25, 2020, 05:42:16 AM
It will always be volatility.

When people introduce new investors in the market, they will usually say that it would punp and give them new profit. As some new investors know about volatility, most of them doesn't. They usually are caught off-guard by how volatile the market is. As new investors, they do not kniw what to do as the price drops so they sell them.
1822  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whales keep getting richer and richer while everybody else is losing... on: January 25, 2020, 04:39:37 AM
I like this, we all want to make money while sleeping or having a pillow. Good for those who are rich who doesn't need to work but for like me and the others we need to strive for the best to secure our future. For the whales they're always making money in this game most of the time.

And you believe that a rich person will not work?

A lot of people will not believe that even if the rich people themselves. There is no way that you will earn money without having a job. Investing and waiting for a profit in time? That is job, holding a stock, that is a job. I heard in the past that there is no way that a person can earn money without having a job, legal or illegal.
1823  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to read trading charts? on: January 25, 2020, 03:10:03 AM
I am not good with it, to be honest, but I can suggest you this site.

https://www.tradeciety.com/the-basics-of-chart-reading/

I asked my friend about the candles they are talking about in the past since I am so left out when they talk about the price charts in the past. At that time we usually hang out and they would have this conversation where they would talk about the movements at the chart and they have this name for that. They just laughed at me and suggested this site to read for a start. I have some photos of the patterns of the candlestick chart, the same as Renko charts and point and figure charts.

1824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: January 25, 2020, 12:52:33 AM
Ex- Alliance now Team Liquid vs. Alliance?

I would go with Team Liquid.

Nikobaby is a good carry but as a team, Liquid is a solid one. They made a lot of mistakes though so I can't positively say that I would side with this team. Maybe I can wait for some tips from the OP to see what he thinks about this matchup.
1825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 24, 2020, 10:23:47 AM
No more team Leberon or Team Giannis?
They are going back to the old thing?

NBA cannot think of something new by now? Maybe we should start suggesting some styles for the All-Star next time.  Cheesy
What a roster for the West. Those are monsters that needs to be separated.
That's the final that was just announced recently. The West sure is an all star hype roster and it's less than a month now til' we see the match. I guess the bookies are getting ready for this match now. Everybody will be betting for the West, who's with the East here?

I think I will also go with the West roster.

I don't need to explain myself since everyone here would be also siding with me with this pick. I love Giannis, still a fan of him but this is all star so, I will go with the West. Speaking of West, what is happening with him lately? Heard Bron will be helping him get into Lakers?
1826  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoins - What will happens to BTC on: January 24, 2020, 09:03:43 AM
To be honest, it is too hard to predict the future, but one thing for sure that whatever happens to bitcoin the technology behind the Bitcoin the blockchain will be developed widely. And bitcoin perhaps will remain as its own way. Some people believe that someday in future bitcoin will be accepted and adopted widely as a currency, however there are no signs that this might come true.

You're right, It's kinda hard to predict the future, but there's some estimation said that bitcoin will be more developed in the future and the value of it will increase slightly during the years which it will be so good for people who hold bitcoin for now because they will make a huge profit by that time. Plus, bitcoin can be the 1st cryptocurrency and also the first currency that will be used instead of fat in the future, which it's probably will happen.

I think the reason why it is very hard to predict the future of bitcoin whether it is bad or not because there are still a lot of issues have been going on about countries that are still against bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, that is why there are still few people who started to adopt and buy bitcoin. But if every countries started to adopt and buys bitcoin no doubt that bitcoin will have a great future.
We cannot still predict what will happen to bitcoin in the future because of the regulations in many countries. There are government who are in favor but there are also government who do not have plan to accept it. As long as there are people whi willing to use bitcoin in their daily lives, then it will create a domino effect where different types of people will become interested to use it.

We can predict what may happen.

You see, Bitcoin may not be that big in the future but I did not say that its price will just fall down, it may stay as it is or pump its way uo to new ATHs. Though the technology of it, the Blockchain technology will be developed and will be used a lot. It will not always be cryptocurrencies, Blockchain will be useful in a lot of ways in the future.
1827  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency usage will boost economy or make it worst ? on: January 24, 2020, 03:23:32 AM
As my concern cryptocurrency is good indicator for stable economy,I read many articles against the cryptocurremcy and some in favor of cryptocurrency. When i personally make a comparision i found that cryptocurrency is helpful boosting the economy.Government still in misconception that cryptocurrency will encourage the illegal activities but government dont think positive about the cryptocurreny. If government legalize the cryptocurrency and sign contract with vendors will generate more revenue than fiat and generated money will be used for the betterment of economy.
Crytocurrency won't bring a fully boost economy if this will not be totally accepted by the government and still a substitute for fiat. I know how potential crypto is and this is the reason why some big companies prefer to accept crypto even if the government still in doubt with crypto usage.

I think it would in a way.

Not just in a way of big companies but as for the people. They might not accept Bitcoin but still, people can trade online. They can't stop it. For the people, they could use it to trade and earn some money for themselves.
1828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is stopping the US Government from outright BANNING Bitcoin? on: January 24, 2020, 02:31:37 AM
To be exact, nothing can stop Bitcoin.

As Bitcoin is decentralized, no one can stop it. They may ban the use of it but I don't think that will stop people from accessing their Bitcoins through their Bitcoin wallet. I think they are also wanting their people to get more way to earn money, that would also mean higher economic status.
1829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Selling milk tea for Bitcoin on: January 24, 2020, 01:36:20 AM
Promos if they use Bitcoin as a payment method would be really great.

Your customers would be intrigued to what Bitcoin is. Usually young people wants to buy milk tea, I think it is a trend for them. That would make them curious what Bitcoin is, some already know what it is but do not want to use Bitcoin as a payment method. I tried putting a QR code on my mother's sari sari store, some recognized it some don't but still, no one used it as a payment method.
1830  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A good advice for every traders. on: January 24, 2020, 12:48:27 AM
Even when your trading logic is solid, and based on watching other successful people, following the logic is the hardest part. It's simply not that easy, emotions get in the way.
Being emotional is not a good thing in trading but we should trade with good senses and overcome greed in trading. We decide to trade then will have to follow the rules as well. We saw so many successful people in the trading journey but we can’t trust them all just make proper research while trusting any trading person even if he is the most successful trader but trade only with your own knowledge.

I think investors already know this.

New investors should be wary of this. As cryptocurrencies are very volatile, we should not be calm on the pump, hence we should be ready to what might happen in the future. You know, the best thing that an investor can do is read and read and read. Knowledge can help you a lot, it could make anyone rich to be honest.
1831  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: January 23, 2020, 12:21:30 PM
I've been holding bitcoins since 2012. I sometimes sell some to buy something I need. But I prefer to hold on as long as I can.

You already missed the best price but that is fine.

As long as Bitcoin stays as it is, I don't think there would be no problem holding them. I don't think you should hold it as you can since that is like forcing yourself to hold it despite the best chances to sell them. Better wait for a good price since you held it for almost 8 years now, the price of it in the past is so low so better grab the chance if you can. Other cryptocurrencies is also an option so try them too.
1832  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the ways i can cash out Bitcoin in another country? on: January 23, 2020, 11:18:37 AM
I think you will be having a hard time.

There are a lot of countries that do not accept Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies. Maybe you can check other exchanges in your place that might be able to help you. Also, you could just use exchanges in your place and make a cash out in your country through your ATM or another mobile wallet, that would be easy and you are ready, don't need to pose that as a problem when you are already in that country.
1833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 23, 2020, 10:07:05 AM

Bro, that 4th quarter.

He is on fire on the 4th quarter. His teamates knows whats up and focussed their offense to him. Damn, back to back points, not just twos but also threes. He really is something, not a fan of him in the past but I think I would follow him from now on. It is just sad that he might not play every game

Same here, not a fan yet since he hasn't proved anything in the NBA, but definitely one of my favorite rookies, It's just sad he had a bad start with an injury in the NBA. This kid is a legit superstar, if you haven't heard of him before, he was a college superstar who had so much hype because of his explosiveness regardless of how much he weighs.
Anyway, I hope he'll have full recovery so we could see his full potential in the NBA.

I heard him first as an expected rookie superstar, I did not research him but seeing him in this game, he would really be a superstar.

It is just bad that the first news I read about him is about his injury. This team would be giving him enough time to recover and that also means lower time in the court. I know a lot of people are expecting something from him so he better focus on himself with his recovery.
1834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 23, 2020, 08:25:51 AM

For those who are following along Zion currently only has 2 points 3 rebounds and he might not play much more
https://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/4395628/zion-williamson
Yep, he had bad start, first 3 quarters only 5 points and then in last quarter 17 points , 4/4 for 3 pts in that period. If he wasn't on restricted minutes he would score way more. I might be wrong, but it  seems to me like he lost a bit of weight. That would definitely be a good thing for him, to reduce chance for injuries.

He actually had a good NBA debut. 22 pts 7Reb 3 Ast in 18 Minutes. That is already a good conversion for a man who had been out for a couple of months. He will surely improve his stats as the season progress. Sadly, they did not get the win but they showed a good 4th quarter game.

1835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's in the game, after all? on: January 23, 2020, 07:47:28 AM
There are a lot of gamblers out there gambling so they can earn a good amount of money. But don't you think we can avoid these losses and just spend our time gambling? There are a lot of games on the App Store where you can gamble with other players online without using your real money. Any game you want, it's your call

That makes another interesting observation

We can play with other players (online or otherwise) for hours but without any financial incentive (I remember playing different card games in my childhood with my friends through whole days). That means we still get something out of it. On the other hand, we don't get a lot of pleasure from a game like dice or tossing a coin if we play on our own without anything at stake unless we are counting the odds or something to that tune (but in that case it stops being a game for us, just a task to do)

All in all, it basically means that the feeling of pleasure is not the primary emotion here, with the implication being that there is something else involved which is causing that feeling of satisfaction and entertainment as a result. So what is it, a sense of victory, which is not possible without the implied possibility of a defeat? As it is the defeat that can only make a victory real, genuine and worth it (read, worth our money)

It is not the money that interest them but them being competitive.

I know a card game we call in our country "pusoy dos". We usually bet small amount of money and have fun. I think 14 or 16 years later, I found that there is an online game of it and tried it. I always lose and that made me stay in that game until now. Never thought that there are a lot of good players of it online.
1836  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries testing digital assets in 2020 on: January 23, 2020, 05:46:10 AM
Adoption and the realization of many countries about the potential of crypto currency should make a big impact in the crypto society. Like China, which is a big communist country, surely their own crypto currency would be known far and wide. Countries are trying no to be left out in this kind of innovation that might be the key for the future.

I think that depends on the country.

Its been years since cryptocurrencies, mainly Bitcoin is legalized in our country. Until now, Bitcoin is not that popular in our country, despite the legalization. So I think this depends on the people of that country.
1837  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoins - What will happens to BTC on: January 23, 2020, 02:28:32 AM
Under this thread, I see many people only talking about bitcoin and its future, but the thing is actually more than bitcoin itself. There is a technology backing bitcoin and other components. This is called blockchain and if the big companies can utilize this, bitcoin's future will be even brighter than ever. We need to see this before discussing about bitcoin only. On the other hand, bitcoin is the most important asset ever existed in the market anyways. So whatever happens to it will affect the general crypto market as well clearly.

I agree.

Bitcoin may still be popular in the future but I think the technology behind it will be too. This technology could be developed and be used to a lot of things unlike Bitcoin where it is just for a payment method and usually being held by investors.
1838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin moves like Gold? on: January 23, 2020, 12:49:22 AM
Bitcoin's value and gold's value are really different because as we can see the bitcoin's value is lower than the gold. If you have a pieces of gold and sell it to the market  you can earn a lot of money depending on its karat while if you have bitcoins, you can earn a lot of money depending on its price in the market like for example this month in which you can earn a little money but enough for your daily needs.

What do you mean?

Bitcoin now has a higher price than Gold right now. Gold is sold in kilo so if we will be talking about a kilo, obviously Gold would be expensive but if we talk about the price of Bitcoin and Gold, Bitcoin is more expensive. Karat just talks about the purity of gold. You said that you can earn a lot of money from gold, which could be the same about Bitcoin if you will be selling it. If you really want to compare these two, buy 1 Bitcoin and 1 ounce of Gold, sell them in a period of time. Bitcoin has a lot of risks to hold but still, a lot of people earned from it by trading it not selling it directly.
1839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the right way to teach them? on: January 22, 2020, 12:13:02 PM
All I can say is Good luck to you and to your team. Satoshi created this revolutionary open source platform for us and that too for free. Now its our job to spread satoshi message of decentralization to those who don't know.

Can we just spread how efficient it is in is way?

I mean, there are a lot of good payment methods in their opinion and you might not know that some of those are common to them. Satoshi created something that secludes us to centralization, it is a great way to introduce it to them in a way that we are not forcing it to them but giving them new choices they can use.
1840  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You CANNOT trade successfully without RISK-MANAGEMENT on: January 22, 2020, 11:18:48 AM
Of course we must handle Trading Like a handle Business, as businsessman you must doing research the market, potential and maximize your strategy to get maximal profit, also don't forget to learning any skill, pemikiran, reading chart, also reading news.
Calculate any economyc issue is a good option too, like trump and iran right now, its give effect to real market.

I don't see any effect on Iran and Trump.

I mean, the "WWIII" is just an overstatement and I don't think it would be really that easy to just start like that. Iran dropped missiles in Iraq, the price did not drop at that point. In terms of risk management, people should really aware of how much they are spending or using in trading and investing. It is repetitive as it is but we should not invest what we can't afford.
