you got hype man, dominate? that's the thing I would disagree with because there's a lot of big guys in the NBA now that are better than him.

I mean, he just have to prove that he isn't just a hype, he haven't played a single game in this season yet, now is his chance to prove it.

I can't wait to see Zion straight up dominate the NBA this season. I hope he comes on today and kicks it off positively. I think he will hit the ground running and probably score over 10 points in his first game. The pelicans are a lucky team to have this kid on their team, he is an absolute monster. He is going to mark his debut with a win! At least, in my opinion. This guy reminds me of young Lebron tearing it up in his first couple seasons with Cleveland. Maybe, he is even better.

We don't know. A lot of people are pumped up with Zion's debut, they are all waiting for this since the start of the season. We saw some moves in the pre season but after that, nothing. We still can't compare these two players right now since we don't have that much stat to compare to. Either way, Zion is said to be one of that players who play the least games in a season.

Hm, this article  got me confused, how could Jazz give Derrick Favors and Dante Exum for Kevin Love since those 2 guys already left Jazz ( Favors to Pelicans for two second-round picks in order to give Jazz more cap space and  Exum for Jordan Clarkson)?

Anyone else interested to see how will Victor Oladipo  look after big break due injury? He is supposed to come back soon, on January 29th (  supposedly the same day as Zion Williamson).

I am really excited to see Oladipo back. I actually missed him a lot. 
Pacers is 28-16 without him. They are doing great, what more when he is around.
The chemistry might get a little whack in the start but I am betting they will still remember how they do it when he was there.

Zion on the other hand had so much weight in his shoulders. It might become an obstacle if he could not carry it.
He needs a lot of support from the young team.
I bet we will be flowing with news and articles about him even from just his debut.

Utah would be a bit different because they already have Conley and also sort of Clarkson, I know he is SG normally but he played a lot of PG minutes when Conley was gone which is why I think Utah would probably not get Rose.

Utah already have clarkson, and at this state now, he is better than Rose, or his contribution fit to the Jazz.
Many teams Rose played after the bulls and he end up transferring to another team, that means he is not back to his old self and teams wants more of him.

It's hard for DRose to adjust again especially with his minutes, He already have a good space for Piston and looking for Jazz's rotations
it will be another adjustment if they will going to acquire DRose. Having Conley and Clarkson those minutes needs to be balanced they
can't have another one and be productive after.

Damn thanks for that, for some weird reason i thought i saw him coming back on January 29th. Woke up hour and half early before works to see that game live. It was worth it, Zion showed why he was 1st pick !

Yep, he had bad start, first 3 quarters only 5 points and then in last quarter 17 points , 4/4 for 3 pts in that period. If he wasn't on restricted minutes he would score way more. I might be wrong, but it  seems to me like he lost a bit of weight. That would definitely be a good thing for him, to reduce chance for injuries.

Pacers were doing great without him, but just imagine how stronger and more dangerous will they be if Dipo can plat at previous level. I think most important thing is how will him and Brogdon work together, but I think it won't be an issue as Brogdon is a team player.

He actually had a good NBA debut. 22 pts 7Reb 3 Ast in 18 Minutes. That is already a good conversion for a man who had been out for a couple of months. He will surely improve his stats as the season progress. Sadly, they did not get the win but they showed a good 4th quarter game.

For me that is one hell of a good start. This kid is something else.
His shoulders are really big and he might carry a lot with those.
Just looking at how ecstatic the crowd was when he shoots the ball. They want something from him. Playoffs maybe? Not this year but maybe next.
Who knows? It is still possible if they could get a good run.
But I am seeing they are taking care of him. The lead was not that much against the Spurs but they let him rest.

Lonzo Ball will be gaining higher stats after this. Alley-oops, three pointers getting open shots because of Zion penetrating the paint.
A streak is a must if they want a spot for the playoffs.

He really is something, not a fan of him in the past but I think I would follow him from now on. It is just sad that he might not play every game

Same here, not a fan yet since he hasn't proved anything in the NBA, but definitely one of my favorite rookies, It's just sad he had a bad start with an injury in the NBA. This kid is a legit superstar, if you haven't heard of him before, he was a college superstar who had so much hype because of his explosiveness regardless of how much he weighs.
Anyway, I hope he'll have full recovery so we could see his full potential in the NBA.

I think the hype for this overall first pick isn't a joke and he proved it on a restricted minutes with 17points in the fourth quarter. Though his team lost to the Spurs but this made a good impression on Williamson's career.

22 points 7 rebounds and 3 assist not bad for his first appearance, This kid really have a good space from this league I agree that partnering with Ball he can jumped expect to see a lots of alley-oops from this team, though chances of having some adjustment between him and Ingram as they both need to touch the ball more often.

I heard him first as an expected rookie superstar, I did not research him but seeing him in this game, he would really be a superstar.

It is just bad that the first news I read about him is about his injury. This team would be giving him enough time to recover and that also means lower time in the court. I know a lot of people are expecting something from him so he better focus on himself with his recovery.

Young Lakers core + Zion? Man, that seems really promising, even though they played only one match together. It's a shame that we had to wait for him that long but on the other side i think that he will make it up to us for the next 15 years.

What a game to make a debut after coming back from knee injury. He kept his composure and scored some good and sweet 3 pointers. Out of 22 , 17 came from that quarter...wow what an impact. Though they lost it but Williamson getting back will boost Pelicans from hereon.

 I am really scared for Zion after this performence. Maybe this was just an outlier and he normally doesn't play like this, maybe dude will just play more of a charles barkley type of game where he is just grabbing rebounds and scoring dunks? I mean we all can see that he can shoot threes now, however just because of this game doesn't mean he has talents like curry to shoot threes, nobody should increase their expectations of him so suddenly after just one game. Sure he will be a good player as long as he stays healthy but I am also scared dude will be expected to be a great scorer from everywhere of the court.
