1821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins to hold during a bear market? on: August 09, 2021, 04:27:28 PM
Bear market is a great opportunity to invest, when bear market comes i only invest in some well known altcoins, it doesn't matter if it is new or old altcoins as long as it is proven and tested i will buy it and hold till bullish market back and sell them to get profit. There are some new altcoins that has a potential and there are also proven  and tested altcoins and they are now easier to pick because they are listed on some crypto currency tracking platforms.

The technique to make money in crypto is very simple, invest in bear market and sell in bull market. Actually, the number of investment here are huge, you can choose among different altcoins and just hold it for a while as when bitcoin dump, it will eventually recover and when that happen, altcoins will also follow the same trend.
1822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the bulls back? on: August 06, 2021, 08:32:14 PM
yes it does look like that, the bulls are back, but I'm sure the market will not immediately go up drastically, but gradually, slowly it will rise over time, hopefully the crypto market price will touch the new ATH, before the end of the year

In my opinion, the bulls did not go anywhere, so they no need to come back. The declines that took place were a normal correction. This is a very healthy reaction of the market before the next gains. I'm sure ATH will be achieved this year. Hopefully the price will jump high enough to break the magic barrier of $100k.
Looks like the market is slowly getting back to a more bullish movement, well, let's say the bulls did not go away, but the correction that we saw was a heavy one, so let's see if it's still going to make a new ATH this year, IMO the current ATH is already high to surpass in just a very short period of time.
1823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 06, 2021, 02:57:06 PM
Yeah that is what I am probably most excited about, seeing what Zach Lavine can do with a legitimate roster around him.  If he can't get them to a decent playoff seed then it will show he is not the super star that some ( or he ) believes that he is or is becoming.  To actually win a championship we would still need another super star, but this is certainly a good start for him.  I have to imagine if he plays well this year he will be offered a max contract..but we shall see.
He is even trying to showcase what he is capable of in Olympics. Just recently, USA won and Zach Lavine's steals was on the spotlight for turning the game over.
I think he got 2-3 steals + airplane dunks on that game against Australia.

Yeah I guess to an extent he is, but the Olympics aren't near the competition that the actual NBA is.  If we are being honest most of these teams would lose to the better teams in the NBA pretty handedly.  Lavine is going to need to step it up in the regular season NBA games to show that he is more than just a scorer but a consistent scorer, leader, defender etc.  Now that he has a legitimate team around him I very excited to see how he deals with having a bunch of other solid players around him.

I just want to share this picture that was shared in our Facebook GC.

ctto-

This Lakers lineup is better than the starting 5 of the current team USA, if this Laker team will play, they can easily win the championship and will never give France a chance to even close in the scoring. Would you agree with my statement here?
1824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Accumulating small odds or choosing one or two big odds on: August 06, 2021, 02:17:52 PM
I'm not too good in predicting with accumulated odds I rather go for a straight win and it's pays off most of the times. I gamble only 10% of my monthly income and decipline myself enough not to exceed it unless I have won extra income on my bet then I can go as far withrawing a certain percentage then increase my stake for that month.

I think 10% of monthly income going to gambling is rather on the high side except for you gambling is a source of income and not totally fun or you are doing it as investment. Usually 10% is should go for things as important to live, like savings, health, rent, feeding but not gambling but when you see your gambling habit as investment, that can be cool then.

Well 10% is huge if your salary is enough and you have many bills or debts to pay off but actually for some gamblers who already set their finance to different things well I think that 10% is enough for them to lose since that money is for their own entertainment. Maybe we have separate opinion towards this but actually this exist already, I know others can't afford even the lowest but my suggestion if there money is not enough for daily living maybe they should set aside their gambling vices since this one could wrecked them.

You are right, the gambler needs to have a breakdown of his expenses for gambling. Financial management in gambling is very important so that we can control the conditions of defeat and can also calculate the amount of income. Everyone must have managed it well, although there are still some who don't pay attention to what percentage they have to bet.

Breakdown of expenses? That doesn't sound interesting because, at the end of the day, you are just recording your expenses, how about your income, don't you have any income in gambling? if the answer is no, then I think one should not continue to gamble anymore. For me, it should be treated as an income statement wheren income less expenses = profit(loss).
1825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol on: August 06, 2021, 01:58:03 PM
Canelo Alvarez is only in his prime now, it's not good to doubt him as he is very strong and he can defeat anyone who will be in front of him. These boxers have faced him and will face him and lack of experience so they can't beat a more experienced and stronger fighter.

Canelo should pick a fighter that has almost beat him, and I think in any of his fights, triple G is always inserted in the discussion.

That was a draw, maybe you call that almost but Canelo won in the rematch, so that fight is over.

Gennadiy Golovkin has not fought this year yet, but if he will be given a chance for a Trilogy, then I guess it will be interesting and we will see the fans from both sides supporting their favorite fighter.

Back to the topic, I guess this is just one of the fighters that he will dominate.
1826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most Bullish Altcoin of the moment on: August 06, 2021, 12:19:15 PM
The price of most altcoins are all depends on BTC so If we are bullish in any specific altcoin like for example X-coin has too many good updates and then btc crash hard most coins including this xcoins will become bearish so I think we have to remain bullish in both btc and altcoins despite this price fluctuates almost every day.

As always, that trend has not been broken yet, gone are the days that bitcoin will dump and altcoins will pump, with the advent of the stablecoins, bitcoin and altcoins are now likely moving the same trend but it's always bitcoin who are leading the movement.
1827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Benefited from AME Token? on: August 06, 2021, 11:00:18 AM
Say has done research on Ame. currently they are doing Staking program with high APY of more than 200%. besides launching the Amekart platform for now. in terms of market now it's pretty good. but unfortunately those in this forum get negative trust. I don't understand what this problem is, but what is clear is that if we invest and it turns out that they are not fundamentally good enough to consider it first

Staking is very good. After all, this allows you to keep the price, and provide opportunities for growth.
But what if the project doesn't list on new platforms? I don’t mind accepting that they cannot list on Binance, but there are many other major exchanges that could be listed on, but they don’t. For nivetsors, this is a bad sign.

Most of the successful project now will make sure their project is listed in Binance, it's like when you are not listed in that exhange, you are out of business. Look at the top 10 in the https://coinmarketcap.com/, all of them are listed in Binance, that's how big the influence of Binance to the market.
1828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: (Olympics Boxing) Carlo Paalam vs Ryomei Tanaka on: August 06, 2021, 10:17:59 AM
Still no betting odds until now.

Why are they listing this game when they can't provide the odds?

The fight will start in less than 2 hours,  it should be up by now.

if you want to try the new bookie here betja , they already have the odds for paalam vs yafai. some known bookies unfortunately haven't listed this yet.

i dont think they will run away this early if you are in doubt of their credibility. they are just starting to make a name, so they won't ruin their reputation this early. we can see that the PH bet is the underdog in this match.
He's the underdog but already beat the world champion and prove that he deserve to be on the gold medal match. I'm waiting for other betting site to offer this bet, I'll place my bet to Carlo despite of the odds because I know, this will be the second gold for the Philippines, he's the only hope now for the gold. Whatever the result, Carlo Paalam already have a good reputation in world boxing, he can go for more because he's still young.

There's a draw but I would not bet on the Draw as I want to see the winner of this competition. Carlo Paalam is probably the remaining active athlete now that has a big chance of bagging a gold medal, he did well in his past fights, so let's expect that he will give everything he has to get a big chance of winning the gold.

The odds still has not change, he is still an underdog, so it's a great news for the Filipino boxer backers.
1829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: August 06, 2021, 05:25:34 AM
Actually, looking at the sporting events that the United States is participating in, they still have a lot of opportunities to catch up with China. Today their gold medal difference is only 4. If I'm not mistaken the United States still has a lot of finals and a few qualifiers. There are still 20 more games for the United States, this is more than China. Maybe you look the schedule for AS and China

Very difficult to make a prediction now. China has a chance to win some more golds in boxing, wrestling, diving and karate. Also the gold medal match for table tennis (men's) is today. On the other hand, the US will have an upper hand in golf, basketball, volleyball and some of the track and field items. It looks as if US have more gold medal competitions, but the gap is still significant (34 vs 30). That said, this is an outstanding performance from China, who were not even in the top-2 favorites when sportsbooks published their initial odds.

That's correct, China is not the favorite but may I know what's the odds for China to be in the top 1?

I'm sure the odds are so attractive, but of course, since in the past, the USA is always the favorite so only a few would bet on China to win. If China will top, that's a big achievement and a statement to the world that they can also be the number one in sports.
1830  Economy / Speculation / Re: At last at last, bitcoin increase more than $41,000 on: August 05, 2021, 04:50:17 PM
The price did increase amazingly, but what's happening on recent market today has gone towards downtrend.
This was projected last week if we won't sustain until $45k it would go back below $40k down to $30k before we will experience another ATH going back to $50k or higher.
Many people hope for better on btc, so another projections for next week that recovery will be happening. Let's wait on that situation and that's sounds exciting for all of us.

Another good news, and we will see bitcoin rising again. So for those believers, better buy while you can. Because once it starts to rally again, you will regret saying you should have bought. But right now, it is showing that the support above 30k is quite strong because few weeks ago, a lot are predicting that btc will go down to even 20k. But the opposite happens.

bitcoin has a lot of support lately as seen on the web: https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/treasuries/
there you can follow the latest bitcoin developments. So we're getting ready to hit the pump button, maybe breaking above $45,000 this week.

That's too optimistic, but I don't really think it will happen since bitcoin has not hit $45k for more than 2 months already, if that is good news, then we had already seen a good pump that will make bitcoin break the big walls. Look at bitcoin now, it still struggles to stay at $40k.
1831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 05, 2021, 03:55:31 PM
They have also Marc Gasol, another big men who has experienced as well, and a threat to the outside. He didn't get a good exposure last season, but I'm sure Vogel will insert him if needed as we have seen in the playoffs against the Suns as he hit crucial 3. They let go of Caruso, but added Ariza to play the defense for them against shooting guards of the opposing team.
Thanks for the reminder. I forgot about Marc Gasol.
So yeah, they are really filled with Giants.  Grin
In terms of speed, I think Westbrook and Schroder will be ideal for it and they were teammates, right? Did Schroder reach WB when he was still at OKC?
But the only problem is, Schroder turned down the $84M extension. Which means? He doesn't like playing with WB? Or is it Lebron?
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/dennis-schroder-is-running-out-of-options-on-free-agent-market-after-turning-down-an-84-million-extension/
Where would this dude fall? What team does have the cap to fill for him?

He will be out with the Lakers, he was only there to prove his value and I think he will be able to land a good team. I'm not sure what teams really need a good point guard, but as of today's standard, PG is now bigger while Schroder is short, so a team would only give him a max contract if they sees him like CP3 and Trae Young.

And there's a rumor, maybe he would fit with the Knicks.

The Los Angeles Lakers have a lot of moving parts in NBA free agency, with a number of their main rotation pieces being free agents this summer. The biggest name among those is point guard Dennis Schroder who refused a contract extension to experience free agency for the first time in his career.

1833  Economy / Speculation / Re: Institutional buyers are not backing down. More Pump? on: August 05, 2021, 01:23:12 PM
I think institutional buyers (and possibly central banks) are buying Dogecoin  Grin Grin Grin

No, not gonna happen, only Elon buys Dogecoin. lol...

If the Central bank will buy crypto, we would know as they will make it public, it's our right to know, but since they did not announce it yet, then let us not assume that they will buy bitcoin.

Institutional buyers that we are referring to here are private businesses or institutions, the central bank is own by the state, so it's public.
1834  Economy / Speculation / Re: [UPDATE] Bangladesh maybe accept Bitcoin, Bangladesh bank mail to CID on: August 05, 2021, 12:51:34 PM
There's no need to explain, a just government would know the real purpose of bitcoin and will not generalize the use of bitcoin as for illegal activities only. Regulation will result in adoption, and if this country wants to regulate bitcoin, people should be happy as it will create opportunity, not only for job but also for businesses even worldwide.

A kind of adoption that we all wish for.
1835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Benefited from AME Token? on: August 05, 2021, 12:30:37 PM

Still, I am holding a few AME coins, Dont knows what will happen. But I will be fine if it hit $0 or a new all-time high.
You just probably took it from participating on their bounty. This token looked good and became popular so fast.
But I don't know what await on the heads for this token. Well, wish you good by holding it.
Some hunters may still believe if the price can be pumped again as the price of ame was not yet pumped since last year. that means if there will always possibility for ame to be pumped to the moon again. The hunters didn't wanna sell their tokens at the cheap price.
If it can be more valuable and why not? Except those who have been moving it to the better project
AME maybe have a good volume already but it lacks community support.

it did not pump during the bull run, so we can't expect it will pump in a usual market situation, of course, unless there's a major development.
I know AME raise a good amount during the crowd sale, so they should keep finding ways to list this project in Binance as that would certainly result in an automatic pump.
1836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the bulls back? on: August 04, 2021, 01:12:32 PM
What the heck is happening  Shocked? The market looks to greenish today im currently seeing some big green candles on BTC and other coins charts, are the bulls back or what?
Well if market is green we can say it's bullish again and when the market is red we will say the bear market is happening. For me I am not affected of the color anytime color may change, I am always looking at the price and the volume in a week or months you can always put basis on the volume of buyers in particular coin in one month not in one day.
Bullish or bearish movement is a market reaction that would last a longer period of time, if it's not, then it's safe to call it price volatility. However, people think that when the market dump, it's bearish, and if it pumps it's bullish, that's why hype happened and people got into FOMO.
1837  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go down below $20,000. on: August 04, 2021, 12:58:13 PM
Looks like what happened in 2018 is happening again this year, if it's the same scenario then we can expect a long bear run for the market. Bitcoin dropping below $30k creates panic, altcoins are dumping as well so what can we expect that bitcoin has already fallen below $30k now?

Will we see the same scenario in 2018 or it will be different this time?

The scenario of today is different from yesterday, so don't worry and keep saving your crypto coins for our next halving that's coming anytime this year. Avoid FUD to hinder your plans in life, there's nothing good it provide to you but anxieties and worries.
Bitcoin market is always an unpredictable thing, specially when it attempts to rise then suddenly goes down. That made us uncomfortable right? Well of course that's a human feeling that we should overcome, so just be calm and easy before glorious day comes over us.

It's sure different but we might see the same bear market that we experience for a long period of time before, it's unpredictable but there's a pattern that we can follow. That's why I don't really think so bullish now, instead, every time the price dump, I'll always secure my assets by converting it to stable coins.
1838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRX to $1? on: August 03, 2021, 09:39:16 PM
Although TRX is growing very slowly, but this altcoin has a very definite potential and purpose, so many people make TRX an investment both in the long and short term, and I think TRX has a great chance to reach $1 this year because the crypto market has started to recover.
Well I think there is a chance for trx to reach 1$ this year but I think it is a small chance trx price is 0.06$ so I think it needs a couple of years to reach 1$, but if there is some development or new positive updates together with the rising of the Bitcoin price I still believe that there is a small chance for trx to 1$ this year
The current price is already $0.06384, how can you say there's a small chance for this coin to reach $0.06?
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/tron/

$1 is a big target as that is more than x10 of the current price, and it could only happen when another bull run will come, but there's no assurance since TRX does not reach $1 during the last bull run.
1839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins to hold during a bear market? on: August 03, 2021, 01:02:12 PM
During a bear market i think the best think for us to buy is just keep stick with top altcoins, so it will be more safe for us. When we stick with top coins it will be very low risk compared to another alts with small marketcap. Right now, eth is the best because there will be big upgrade (london fork) it gonna make eth price rise so rapidly.

Holding a coin in a bear market is a bad idea unless you are sure that it's the lowest price you think, you should not hold altcoins, try to convert it to stable coin and just start buying when the price is really cheap that way, you'll gain more profit once the bull run will come again. I learn my lesson in the past, I hold altcoins and though they have potential, it still made me panic as they dump like more than 50% of the value I bought them.
1840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most Bullish Altcoin of the moment on: August 03, 2021, 12:37:28 PM
Looks like the bullish market turns out a bull trap only.

The market now is dumping, bitcoin has dumped below $40k and it has a 2% dump today.
Usually, when a dump like this happens, it will be followed by another dump, so it's time to relax now, wait and see how low bitcoin will go.

Don't panic guys, this is normal, volatility at its best.
