i have free electricity and 5,000.00 $. is it worth to buy asic miners??
now i mine with nvidea cards through nice hash. i like it but i can afford to buy asic. i pay nothing for electricity where i live. they take fixed money of 300 EGP monthly. around 15 $ fixed no matter how much i consume.
if i buy asic miners, when will i get initial deposit?
btw, i have air conditioner with as low as 14 c.
You are lucky if you are just having free electricity in your place. If you already know how to mine then you should try, I think you can gain also, but if you think that if you are not gaining at all then you can stop. Try the GPU rig but 1st you should also research about it and also about ASIC miners who among the two are much better. |

First of I am a BTC HODLER and I am happy it is breaking it's ATH every other day. But is it really good for future of BTC?
As a currency and day to to day usage BTC price needs to be stable. For regular market to adopt this as a currency the price needs to to stable. Is it not? If BTC fluctuates so much within just few days how can some business adopt this? For example if they fix a price for a product for $400 equivalent to btc then tomorrow the price can be $600 or $200. Will this sudden price rise/ drop not affect the market adoption?

If there's a product that we need to buy in bitcoin price then we needs to think of the price of bitcoin and not on how much we converted it. Maybe if the product is .000001 btc then that will remain .000001 btc. I think we can do that but still hard to adopt by every business because we need a stable amount of bitcoin before we used it in every businesses. That is really the main reason why they hard to accept bitcoin as payment here in our country because of its unstable price. |

Bittrex allowed the theft of Approx 18K USD from my account. Have had NO response from Bittrex for 2 days. Used 2x verification...still not safe. Get your $$$ out now.
I have experienced the exactly opposite of them :/ They won't process the withdrawals unless you have passed certain verification including your phone.They send a reply after every login attempt.Did you get those mail details ? Like suggested above,please update the thread with appropriate details. You should stop using it if that is not safe. I think they are doing to gain profit from the others that cannot passed with their verification. Well, I don't know exactly what they are want from you with that verification but if that is true stop using it and cash out all your money of transfer as soon as possible. |

Not all airdrops are legit, so be careful joining some Airdrops especially if they wants to get your private key. You need to report that immediately, those are scammers. I think most safer are Bounties and Mining. |

Here in our country, banks accepting bitcoin but automatically converted into fiat when we encash or paying bills online. Maybe it is also depend on a country where we are. But if you are saying that saving bitcoin in the bank? They are not accepting it since they don't have system that can save bitcoin.

Now I have a question I'd like to ask. Is Bitcoin going to get to the point where it is too big to fail? The government bailed out Wall Street to avoid a financial collapse. Can Bitcoin gain the same status as Wall Street? The market cap is steadily increasing making it a big player in the game and I'm looking forward to where it is headed.

Nope, bitcoin will never be too big to fail. I think it will be impossible to happen, most investors now have their own bitcoins and they are continue buying that's why as you can see we already have all time highest amount of bitcoin price right now. And hoping that it will continue by the end of the year. |

A question of panic selling was already discussed on this forum a billion times. But whats bad here? If you are sure that the price will grow back then you can just buy some BTC in better rates. The more dangerous will be the situation when someone is buying BTC while being afraid of loosing some profits despite the fact that pump has already happened (I'm calling it a panic buying). Thats seems like a straight way to lose money and make a bubble.
Panic buying and selling are both not good, because that action is not thinking first before they do it, they just buying and selling if they just want. Because we all know the reason is that they just want to gain more profit using bitcoin. |

I think even if India will ban bitcoin in the near future, it will not affect bitcoin price. Even if bitcoin price will decrease for sure it will increase again just like what happen the last time they said China banned bitcoin. Bitcoin is just getting increase its value because of coming fork and people are investing more just to getting more benefits of getting free fork coins..

Maybe try to wait until bitcoin price goes down a little bit and then you can buy some bitcoin for you to invest in a long term, so you can gain more profit if you will wait for the price to fall down and invest all your $2400 into bitcoin. After I've already done my duties and responsibilities with my Family, that's the time that I can do my job, earning bitcoin in campaign or social media campaign. Sometimes when my son is at the school that is also the time when I am not that busy since I am just waiting for him to finish his study before we go home. I am considering transfering my bitcoins from coinbase to electrum wallet. My question is, what happens if Electrum suddenly shuts down and their servers go offline? Will I be able to access my coins using another wallet or will they be lost?
Once Electrum wallet shut down, you will not able to access your account and you will not able to get back your coins permanently, but do you really think Electrum wallet will totally shut down in the future? Well, if you don't have trust with your wallet, try to en cash it and deposit it into the bank. |
