Die etablierten alten werden immer weiter abgehaengt (Poloniex #32, Bittrex #24), neue Exchanges wollen Binance die Krone wegnehmen. KuCoin hingegen ist auf einem aehnlichen trading volume wir Poloniex, RightBTC macht ungefaehr das Doppelte in trading volumes (#18 und damit groesser als Bittrex).
Wie haetten wir es denn gerne?

Why do you even bother to post your "rumours" if you can't even give any proof? Looking back at the past, we will need some "stability period" with prices staying more or less constant for a couple of month before even thinking about another bull run. |

Schöne Übersicht, aber du schreibst es j selbst schon dass man es nicht 1:1 vergleichen kann. Was mich mal interessieren würde: Was ist denn der Unterschied der ganzen Exchange-Tokens? Bei Binance kann man ja die Gebühren reduzieren durch die Token und ab und wann burnen sie auch welche. Haben Kucoin, Huobi & co ähnliche Funktionen? Gibt es auch Token die "Dividende" ausschütten? Oder wie handhaben das andere Exchanges? |

The thing that makes ETH very popular is supported by hundreds of tokens, if the token performance keeps improving like EOS then automatically usage of ETH also keep increasing and this makes ETH marketcap will continue to strengthen and can become number # 1 and beat bitcoin.
Possible yes. And bitcoin started out just like ethereum a couple of years back so we wouldn't know years from now if btc popularity will cease or slow down and eth will be able to catch up but one thing is that it's not impossible. But BTC was the first crypto in town, there was nothing comparable before, so it's not fair to say ETH doesn't exist that long yet, but in the future it can gain. Between the two I think it depends how the transaction scalability plays out. ETH has advantages on the smart contract/token side, BTX (still) on the popularity side. If they both can manage to enable a large amount of transactions per second then ETH will surpass BTC at some point. Nobody knows if another third competitor will make the race though... |

That's a very poor hand-waving excuse given Dash is dropping more "massively" than many other coins in its peer group.
Is it really? All Alts are down a lot and I don't see Dash more down than other coins like Monero (which you seem to support according to your sig, so I take your anti-Dash post with a grain of salt, but thanks for your point of view anyway ) |

ich hab mal eine allgemeine frage zu den vielen verschiedenen masternode projekten. es gibt projekte (BTDX, MTNC, HC,...) bei denen man mit der coineigenen wallet eine masternode betreiben kann und es gibt projekte (ALQO, XMN, ...) wo man einen vps benötigt. wo von hängt das eigentlich ab, dass einige masternodes über die wallet und andere nur über vps laufen? mich interessieren nur masternode projekte, die mit der eigenen wallet betrieben werden können - deshalb würde ich den unterschied gerne wissen wollen, da ALQO sehr interessent klingt, aber meines wissens nur über vps läuft  Ist nicht das Hauptproblem, dass du eine statische IP brauchst? (Das war zumindest mein Grund für VPS) Oder ist das bei ALQO wirklich so, dass es nicht au dem wallet läuft? |

Tell you what, man. I really doubt in 99.9% of coins and assets named here but really sure that if you hold your doges for 10 months or so you will have a possibility to earn at least 50% in BTC for invested sum. Doubt that doge will ever reach 1$, barely, and do not know how much in fiat BTC will be, but you will have your 50% profit in BTC for sure. Just Hodl.
I also doubt DOGE will ever reach $1, however you are right: investing now in the bear market might not be that bad. Wait for a pump (which will come sooner or later in a coin like DOGE) and you can make a profit. (Just not predictable when and how much) |

I think we can make a lot of money regardless of where the market goes, but to get rich with crypto, the only way is to trade, because we can find the crypto with the highest fall rate by going to the Gainers and Losers section of Coinmarketcap, finding cryptos with the most drop rate and invest in it, hold at least 1 month for profit. Because trading will make us rich.
short-term trading like you propose is a zero-sum game. If you gain some profit, somebody else will lose it! I don't think trading is a way to get rich, maybe for a small minority, but not for the big crowd. Better invest in some promising projects, set yourself a price target, and sell if this target is reached. In a way similar to stocks, but of course crypto has higher volatility and risk |

Well, in 2017 it did a 70x bull run, which was just unsustainable.
The current correction still puts the market cap over 25x the start of last year, which is phenomenal returns.
I feel that once Blockchain becomes more mainstream, with larger working products that are adopted on a day to day basis by regular people, we will see a large hike then.l
We are currently 15x higher in the total market cap compared to the beginning of last year. However, the number of coins and tokens also has increased by a lot (factor 2.6, from 617 to >1600 from beginning of 2017 to now) I still think we have entered a bear-cycle now, which means prices go down, speculators leave, fewer new projects are started and projects without real innovation die so that the real innovations can build up for some time to cause another bull run. If this is true we probably have to wait for a few years before the bull returns... |

No it's not DEX, it is crypto wallet with many interesting features - decentralized exchange, ICO investing and pooling, portfolio tracking, fiat gateway, and others.
Sounds like an interesting project! So if it's a wallet, I assume you hold your own private keys? Is there a list of coins it will support? |

No Bull Run in 2018?
If no bull run this year, then maybe a lot of people will call it scam, maybe it is the end of btc, maybe a lot of investor will become frustrated. All of that maybe's is just speculation if no bull run this year. Scam if there is no bull run? what? As somebody who was here 2014 and 2015 I'm afraid we need definitely a year without bullrun, maybe even 2. Only when all the short term speculators are out, only then the price will be low enough for a new bubble to develop. Ofcourse, technological advances and increased acceptance and usage of crypto is also needed... |

What are your targets to take profit?
The target is HODL Honestly, I am not planning to think about selling in the next months unless we see another bubble with ATH. Quite possible that we soon go down again, but the bottom will be somewhere |

Danke für das Update Versteh ich das also richtig, dass es unmöglich ist mit der neuen Version eine Überweisung an eine alte Adresse zu machen (oder umgekehrt)? Kommt dann eine Fehlermeldung? Mir ginge es eher darum dass nicht irgendwie BTX im Nirvana (bzw auf der falschen Adresse) landen koennen durch die Adressaenderung. Ethereum Blockchain is still heavily charged : at this specific moment you have to set GAS price to 60 Gwei in Metamask to have a transaction confirmed within reasonable time delays.
I am really very worried about this Ethereum Blockchain congestion, hope it will get resolved ...
