1821  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Nasdaq and NYSE on: November 27, 2018, 07:16:20 PM
This is setting the pace for ETF approval, one thing I am sure of is that ETF approval is close by, all these companies and names are influential and have huge lobbying power, they are laying the infrastructure for this to happen 2019 could surely be the year, my main fear is just price suppression by these people
1822  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything is an investment-change my mind on: November 27, 2018, 07:11:26 PM
I do like all the points raised but there is a poison distribution in statistics and if you calculate the probability of Government defaulting on the bond payment, Earthquake happening in an area and precious metal prices tanking they are very low. NO risk, No reward and this is why I always for active managing your investment so as to adjust to the present reality
1823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Roger Ver & Craig Wright effect on: November 27, 2018, 07:05:11 PM
Am I being paranoid or Roger Ver and Craig Wright dumping BTC to support their projects? BCH (ABC) and BCH (SV) are up on rather impressive volumes lately.

I just have a feeling both of them will come out of this losers. I don't see how both projects succeed long term, the person I pity most is Jihan because he has more to lose than to win. This is a game of ego and that is all, people overestimate the treat of Craig until he make the vulnerabilities in SegWit open I won't rate him as a person
1824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin? on: November 27, 2018, 06:56:05 PM
Why would you even conceive the idea that this is game over for Bitcoin, when you see BAKKT and other ETFs lining up to get into the game. I think it is time people need to some listening to Mainstream media because they are all against BTC. Do you thing BAKKT team are stupid people to want to get into a dead end, for me the game is just starting, the question is are you ready
1825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The situation with IRAN on: November 27, 2018, 06:53:13 PM
Personally I don't like mixing politics with Crypto especially Bitcoin,  but I think Iranians people too need to look at the mirror and ask themselves some fundamental questions, this issue is not peculiar with Iran alone becaause there are some people behind the scene benefiting greatly from this, I am talking about Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Argentina and some of these countries in dire financial mess. For me you can only help yourselves thanks God for internet that has made information this readily available prepare for your future and that of your children because some people I talked to about BTC still believe it to be a scam
1826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think of the ICO trend of 2019, if ICO is replaced by STO? on: November 23, 2018, 09:41:53 AM
2018 it is said that the year that the ICO took the throne, but besides it exposed a lot of negative aspects. With SEC and China trying to suppress ICOs, the STO has come as a safe choice.Do you think that in 2019, ICO will be replaced by STO?
Lol Another name for ICO.Can you tell me the differecens between STO and ICO? But this is not my first time to see someone that created a similar thread like this one. There was a lot of icos are trying to replece the word of ICO with TGE, STO and many more. But basically they are the same.  Just curious about the legal view of STO.

I think I agree with you, the reason why all these names are popping up is because of the insincerity of most people behind the project, in STO can the developers be voted out and do they still have 100% control of the fund, when I joined the space there use to be an Escrow account when the ICO money stays and will be released  until the developers fulfill certain conditions all is out of water now and that is why we are see abuse in the space. The main thing is to stick to best practices the better for everyone involved
1827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency can be the next frontier in retirement investing on: November 23, 2018, 09:36:40 AM
Cryptocurrency should have been a suitable asset for retirement investing but the issue is the volatility for now, until we start to see steady and continue growth I don't see people betting their live savings on it for now, and this is an advice to everyone with the way the market behave this year will still need something aside Crypto to keep the soul and body together
1828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Aura: the future of decentralized exchanges on: November 23, 2018, 08:27:56 AM
Are you serious, please stop call Idex a decentralised exchange, is it not the same IDEX that started blocking some IPs from certain countries. I think it is just a market word to market the exchange and nothing more. I have not seen any decentralised exchange in the space it only exit in theory and not in practice
1829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New Way For Scammers. - save your money ! on: November 23, 2018, 08:21:38 AM
The thing I don't understand why people fall for things like this, do they think Crypto is a father Christmas land. Why would someone be giving out free $120 to people even Vitalik is not doing so. I think people get scammed because they are greedy and looking for free money but forget that there is nothing free out there, someone must pay the price
1830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH continues to lose value (road down to $50?) on: November 23, 2018, 08:14:33 AM
I won't debate the price going to $50 it may even go lower, but the surprise thing is that where are those people defending the price of Ethereum when the prices was $1000+ and can't buy when the price is $120 what an irony. I have said it Ethereum is a great idea but has many baggage that would prevent to to scale, so could be the fore runner to other great projects to come
1831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: More altcoins produced the more Bitcoin or even ETH will go down on: November 23, 2018, 08:05:02 AM
In my own opinion, the more altcoins and erc20 tokens being released everyday in market, the more it affects Bitcoin or even Ethereum's price to go down.Since the volume of investors should be instead investing on btc and eth are now divided to altcoins. What do you think?

I think you are wrong here, what push the market  price up is the demand, if the demand for Crypto assets keep increasing then expect the price to move up, the increase in Altcoins is a plus to BTC, because we can argue that they have push the prices of BTC up from the 2015 to the current period because BTC was around $200-$400 then
1832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SEC has given a last warning on ICOs on: November 23, 2018, 08:02:27 AM
There are two ways to see this, to be sincere of what use are 99% of these tokens, why do I need to hold a token after collecting my money and the tokens end up having no user as we are seeing these days and no value.

The only thing I see here is that SEC is not giving out a clear decisive statement of how to go about ICO and not to get wrought of the government, what would happen is projects moving out of US and to a more conducive regions to set up their projects.
1833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dont panic ! small marketcap = big profit after pumps. speculation ! on: November 21, 2018, 03:04:01 PM
I have been thinking about the market situation, I think there are many things some of these projects can do by start offering people part of the company instead of just these useless tokens that have no usecase, this could stop the dump in the token price because you see more than the present market situation but a big company in making. I know most of these projects are relying on BTC and Ethereum prices to pick so has for them to regain their value but I can tell you most of these projects are not coming back, we need to learn from history
1834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How does the team prevent the price of the tokens from falling? on: November 21, 2018, 02:59:25 PM
There are many ways team goes about this, the could embark on marketing campaign to generate interest in their tokens, also they could employ the services of market maker to help drive up the price and also do buy back of their own tokens, Some team employ all these 3 tactics to get desired results
1835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ADA have the chance to hit $50 in the next five years? on: November 21, 2018, 02:56:11 PM
Do you think ADA can hit $50 in five years, how about $100? I doubt it can hit $100 but I believe it is possible to hit up to $30 in 3 years and $50 in 5 years when bull run start to introduce himself next year. What do you think its maximum value in five years time?

Can you justify why the price should be at least $50, people never learn. IMO the probability of ADA value being Zero is higher than it been valued  $5 not to talk of $50. The project is good but looking at the infighting within the space and the History of Charles Hoskinson with projects you will think twice
1836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethreum bounce back ? on: November 21, 2018, 02:53:05 PM
I don't know what Vitalik have to say about this. I think Ethereum will reverse when most of the ICO money find its way back to the market but I truly can't see it hit $1000, reason being that there are many competing platforms now in the space like RSK, EOS, NEO, ADA and co and developers must have learnt their lessons that this is not sustainable putting all there eggs in one basket so expect the monopoly Ethereum has on the ICOs market to end
1837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH continues to lose value (road down to $50?) on: November 21, 2018, 02:48:04 PM
a while back i created the ETH, road down to $50?, i had to close it due to being spammed to oblivion. but many in that topic disagreed with price even going down to $200!

now we are closer to $100 and the dump continues.

when do you think $50 is going to happen?

Those that I pity most now are the ICO developers that failed to hedge themselves and hold on to Ether. I think some of them it is because of greed, they are stupid to think the price will continue to grow without any correction and this stupid mistake is likely going to bring the project down because no money to support the project long term expect something drastic happen to the price of Ether and reverse this trend
1838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Consider HODLing NEXO. on: November 21, 2018, 02:45:00 PM
What I like about the NEXO team is that they very much understand that for their model to work they need to get SEC onboard and never try to deceive themselves like other lending platforms like Salt but I still need to wait for their first dividend payment and see how much it worth. Anything like 15 to 25%ROI will be very good
1839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: -=let's tell the good news about crypto=- on: November 20, 2018, 09:53:22 AM
Where are the dump and the smart money that entered the space almost this time last year gone, why are people confortable buying BTC at 10k and above and can't afford to hold on to it at $5k, this rely baffles me. We have seen a new low this year and people still feel we have not hit the bottom. I think the goodnews is that speculators are getting out of the space and true believers are now entering the market
1840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash is gone? on: November 20, 2018, 09:49:44 AM
I don't know what is going through the mind of Roger Ver, JIhan and Craig now, what is the use of this fork, the price of the two coins is less than the value of BCash before the split, this is just an ego fight and has nothing to do with making the project better. Both with time will be proved fools because they have just signed the death warrant of their babies
