1821  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What could be the future of Indian Crypto Traders and Investors on: August 31, 2022, 02:21:35 PM
Hi

After Wazirx been scrutinized by ED (Enforcement Directorate ) , another exchange which has been raided by ED is Coinswitch Kuber

https://www.businesstoday.in/crypto/story/ed-raids-5-premises-linked-to-crypto-exchange-coinswitch-kuber-including-ceos-residence-345606-2022-08-26

Q1) What could be the future of Indian Crypto Traders and Investors

India has imposed highest taxation on cryptocurrencies and has restricted it to be used as a legal tender.
While we can say that crypto trading is now legal in India, the high taxation is still a burden for many.
The Indian crypto community is very big as many big investors are investing in crypto.
So the support towards crypto from India is massive but at the same time the Indians have to fight this war against the government towards better crypto regulations.

Quote
Q2) Are all these exchanges involved in Money Laundering or some kind of illicit Activities

Most of the exchanges are involved in money laundering. Not only exchanges but many famous people and celebs are also involved in money laundering.
So that's something that nobody can do anything about. This is why they say not to hold your funds on exchanges at first place.
Holding crypto in a non-custodial wallet or a hardware wallet is the way to go.

Quote

If you are so bothered about that then stop using leveraged trading at first place. This is how exchanges operate and it's normal.
Once our funds are liquidated it becomes the exchanges' property. There's nothing we can do about it.

Quote
Q4) Does these exchanges working without any license or legal approvals

I think they must be having a license to run an exchange because without a license and approval it's very hard to keep the exchange running.
The authorities would have banned the exchange long ago if it wouldn't have a valid license.

Quote
Q5) Are other existing exchanges fall under the same category

Most Indian exchanges are having valid licenses and are operating from India but because of the strict regulations they are planning to shift outside India.

Quote
Q6) Is it the  time for people to switch to peer to peer

Yes, peer to peer is the best thing probably but the major hassle is to make sure the peer is a genuine person.
People get into trouble if the source of money being sent or received is from an illegal source.
1822  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Know the right crypto project to invest in on: August 31, 2022, 01:46:12 PM
Considering rate at which hundreds of cryptocurrencies are flooding the blockhain space it seems digital currency is taking over the fiat. But the question now is how does one get to know the right crypto project to invest in?

As you said with so many crypto projects flooding in, it is really hard to choose the right projects to invest in.
But we don't have to look at new projects to choose as they are indeed risky. We already have established projects that we can choose to invest in.
Although they would have a big marketcap already but they are really potential and it would be a wise decision to choose existing projects to invest in.
There are many good projects such as Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Fantom, Polkadot, Binance etc...
Bitcoin is always the safest bet and even a newbie should consider investing in bitcoin to play safe.
1823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin versus Banks on: August 31, 2022, 01:37:21 PM
I would say "Simple and deep". Banks are obviously centralized but the reason why I hate banks is because they make us suffer to access our own money.
They lay unfair charges on us to use our own money. For example if we make too many withdrawals then they levy charges on us.
While bitcoin on the other hand is peer to peer which is the best thing I like about it.
It doesn't levy any extra charges on us and to be honest the pros are way too much when compared to banks.
Yet the banks and the governments hate bitcoin and stick up to issues like more power consumption for mining while they don't consider the disaster done while mining gold and also the industrial hazards.
I guess things will take time to be in favor of bitcoin.

I believe, in our lifetime, banks will remain the main financial institution that will take care of our money.
We can't avoid them, unless, you have other options that can stick to cash or crypto, which is actually hard these days.
At some point, we need the services from our bank. So even if the advantages between bitcoin vs banks are clear,
still we can't disregard the role of banks in our financial aspect of life. Just enjoy the benefits of knowing bitcoin or crypto.
As banking industry is seeing the role of crypto in today's generation, they may soon innovate their services and improve on how they treat their customers.

To be honest, the only advantage of having banks is that it is widespread around the country and this enables us to make the payments easily.
But this is something that can be done with crypto too but the fact that governments restrict it is the only reason why global adoption of crypto is still lacking.
If crypto becomes widespread just like the banks then most of the people will prefer making transactions in crypto than banking platforms.

1825  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mastering the market movement is what aid profits and not the price. on: August 29, 2022, 03:59:30 PM
As a day trader or a passive trader, most are confused about how to make the best out of the market, and many will always complain of losses during a bear market, meanwhile with the right mastery one can make massive profits in the bear market and this goes further to clarify the fact that market conditions do not have much to.do with your profit maximizing but proper market mastering is what gives profits in whatever market.

Yes ofcourse that is true because we can see that there are traders who make huge gains by shorting their assets.
So this shows that how profits can be made in a falling market as well as a growing market.
It all depends from person to person and not everybody can make profits in a falling market.
1826  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right time to invest on: August 29, 2022, 02:35:30 PM
As a newbie one finds it difficult to know the right time to invest. I really want to know if I can actually invest into Bitcoin at this moment.

As a newbie the first thing you should do is look for coins which have huge marketcap and currently the best coins are bitcoin and ethereum.
Currently bitcoin is in a dump and near to it's last bottom price in this dump and so yeah this is definitely a good time to enter the market and take your position.
Don't go for low cap coins as they are risky and highly volatile. Save your capital and invest in bitcoin and keep monitoring until you gain confidence over the months.
Newbies need to know Bitcoin volatility and how it works. So the more you know before investing, the more you can benefit later. And there is no alternative to Bitcoin for investment.
If you have a small amount of money I would say with having the risk you can hold some altcoins. Among them are ether, BNB, metic and sol. These are very good projects for investment. As the bitcoin price reduce to $20k it is the proper time to invest.

Altcoins are more volatile in nature than bitcoin and so investing in any altcoin would be more risky than investing in bitcoin.
So if the individual is a newbie to crypto trading then investing in bitcoin should be the best thing to do.
We keep getting more opportunities in trading and so it is more beneficial to know the crypto market works in the beginning rather than diving in directly into altcoins.

1828  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bottom For Bitcoin? on: August 28, 2022, 04:12:38 PM
What do you think will be the bottom for Bitcoin, from which it will begin to recover? Another question is whether now is the best time to invest or whether waiting for more dump is advisable.

After the dump the bottom was around $17k for bitcoin as it didn't go lower than that range.
Since then it started growing slowly in price and crossed $24k few times but due to recent negative news in the market it has fallen back below $20k.
Now it's time to wait and watch whether bitcoin will be able to hold at $17k which I think it will or will it dump further below that point.
Most probably bitcoin will hold strong and may be $17k would be the bottom for bitcoin.
1829  Economy / Gambling / Re: Some Crazy Fun Facts About Casinos And Gambling You Might Not Know. on: August 28, 2022, 04:05:42 PM
Wow, those are some really good facts on gambling. I liked the sandwich one but I wonder if it's true or not.
Also, the fifth one is great. Getting yourself excluded from a casino is not something that every casino would provide.
Ohio is doing a good thing by enabling the gambler to use this feature to overcome gambling addiction.
If every casino includes this program at their place gambling addiction could drastically decrease with a decrease in revenue as well though.
1830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Gambling sites don't offer betting on bitcoin price ? on: August 28, 2022, 03:56:16 PM
Gambling sites mostly involve to play games and earn money. There are exchanges if you want to bet on coin prices.
Trading is similar to gambling where you just have to make the right bet on the coin to earn money. I think there's only freebitco.in that allows us to place bets on cryptocurrencies.
Apart from freebitco.in you can also try betting on bitcoin price on binance which is an exchange. You can try the battle option on binance.
You would have to either go long or short and start your battle and if the price moves in your direction then you win otherwise you lose.
You can also try options trading on binance itself if you want to bet on shorter time frames.
1831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this the Extreme of Gambling Addiction? on: August 28, 2022, 03:34:46 PM
I think that this has nothing to do with gambling addiction because this is something that any thief or scammer would do.
They look for opportunities to rob people. May be those thieves are gamblers who have lost all their money and are now robbing others to gamble more.
But this will again make them thieves rather than gambling addicts. Criminals and addict should not be mixed.
1832  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A little profit for $17k+ buyers on: August 28, 2022, 02:56:00 PM
Seeing the current dump it seems that bitcoin made an honest try to spike up in price but was failed due to negative impacts on it.
Currently bitcoin is below $20k and is struggling to go back above the $21k range. But if we look at the other side this is a good opportunity buy some BTC.
The last bottom was around $17k and if things go well then may be bitcoin won't fall below that.
Buying in this range might be a good deal considering that the ATH was at $69k.
1833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The September effect on: August 28, 2022, 02:50:45 PM
Well September hasn't even started yet and we can see bitcoin decline in price. Who knows what's gonna happen next.
It's not necessary that it's because of the month but there are certain things happening that act as a catalyst towards the price decline.
I guess it would be best to HODL and wait for bitcoin to bottom out completely. I guess we will have to wait until the end of the year to see if things are going in a positive direction or not.
1834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Having losses? Or people are not going the right way on: August 27, 2022, 04:34:41 PM
OP is right. With every bear market, bitcoin has come out to be even stronger and it has survived all the dumps.
This makes bitcoin the most trusted cryptocurrency. It creates a new ATH every time and with the current bear market we can expect the same.
The chances of bitcoin reaching the $100k target is getting closer with every ATH.
1835  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin do $19k again before a bull market? on: August 27, 2022, 04:28:36 PM
I usually don't bother my self about BTC price but always keep update with news. But yet I decided to take a look at the price chart, then I saw that BTC price has broke the support for $20,700, the direction of the market has turned bearish and the next support should be seen in the $18k / $19k  area. There may be a continuous downward movement this weekend. Trade with mindfulness and add a stop loss in all trades.
If it happens that Bitcoin goes down to $18 or 19k, that will be the last time it will go that low this year, what do you guys think about this (Bitcoin experts in the forum)?

I really don't know why but I have ready quite a few times recently that experts are expecting bitcoin price to fall further.
So the current sentiments are pointing a downward trend which again means that yes bitcoin price will go below $19k again.
But I hope the downward trend ends soon and we see the above $50k range again.
1836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who Would You Likely Sign Up Under In Casinos on: August 27, 2022, 04:14:08 PM
Out of all the options above, the review sites seems more sensible to me because it provides way more information about that particular site than any other option.
All the other options may provide details about what the site is about but review sites provide most of the information about the site such as bonus, promotions, features and games on that site etc...
But at the same time we must make sure that the site is genuine and not a paid one.

Decided to give it a try:
snip

I guess I got lucky here with 3 Golden Tickets! And enough RPs for cashing out! All in all, I am satisfied. Smiley

Wow, these results are pretty amazing. More than 10k sats and more than 10k RP.
This is definitely worth it for 680 WoF spins. I wish I had the same luck as yours but waiting for so much time to accumulate 680 spins would be a tough task for me.
Any plans on what are you going to do with those 10k sats ?
1838  Local / India / Re: Best crypto exchange in India with low fees on: August 26, 2022, 04:53:18 PM
There are many crypto exchange platforms available in india but with my personal experience Wazrix is the best crypto exchange platform with easy and effective interface.

Wazirx "WAS" one of the best exchanges until few months back but currently it is not so great in my opinion.
It is not allowing any INR deposits currently and is encouraging only P2P transactions which is a hassle if you want to trade with bigger amounts.
WazirX is also being investigated on some kind of fraud case involved with money laundering.
So while these issues persist I wouldn't recommend WazirX to anyone. In fact there is no good crypto exchange in India for now.
1839  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Biggest Wins with lowest risks in Casino History on: August 26, 2022, 04:46:51 PM
I think the title is a little misleading because it is not exactly the lowest risks. Although these users might have won such huge amounts on those bet amounts but may be the total amount they risked of the win would have been greater.
For example I am placing 1000 bets with each a bet amount of $2 and won $20000 in a bet.
People will say I risked $2 and won $20000 but in real my risk was $2000 instead.
I also think the same because the above wins are not for 1x bets but hundreds of bets that have been played without duration during the game to get the jackpot. Many risk warnings have been missed because details about risks are not explained in the contents of the post. But the important point is that it doesn't matter how low or high each bet is because anyone has the opportunity to get a high jackpot and potentially even enter the top 5 list of the highest wins, but don't forget the risk of losing high capital without us knowing the real facts of the highest winnings above.

Following these important opinions, then, it means that if it is possible to place bets on a slot machine like this, when does this type of promotion exist? Well, making 1000 bets with 2usd is something that seems very smart to me because you are covering the losses completely and it is impossible for those 1000 bets to lose all of them, I wonder if you change your bet to 4usd then it will be much more money than you would be winning.

But I have a doubt, if bets are made with these patterns, will the site not see this strange behavior? because it is very similar to the behavior of an intelligent bot.

If a player has 3 thousand dollars and he wants to spend it and it doesn't matter if he loses it, if he splits it in 3 days, playing exactly the same, isn't he considered suspicious? A player following his emotions the game will make him change his bet to be more than 1 dollar Is it just creating a situation that can arise, sometimes casinos can take these behaviors to track players and possibly ban them?

It does not seem possible to be honest, that is a very large number of bets from just that amount. There has to be some condition of the need to continue playing until the house has some chance to recover from the bonus or advantage given. It is just a idiosyncrasy of this industry to make sure the house simple does not ever loose on an average of deals.

I think it is possible to place that many bets but it would eventually turn out to be a loss for us.
Since the house edge is on the casino's side more than 50% of the bets we make will turn out to be a loss.
Even if we win few big wins but the overall loss will still be higher in normal circumstances and hence the casino will remain in profit most of the times.
This is how casinos stay in profit otherwise most of the casinos would have been shut by now.
1840  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: August 26, 2022, 04:28:00 PM
I do not think that I have ever bought lottery tickets before. Maybe I did it for fun back in the day, I am not entirely sure about it, but I usually never buy it at all. You get it by gambling anyway, so I gamble anyway and I get it. This isn't just regular weekly neither, you get golden tickets as well which goes for lambo which is of course a small chance but it is good to have. What people do not realize that if you combined the weekly lotteries and the 10 prizes they give away, that is usually nearly as much as the lambo when you combine it all.

I mean over a quarter bitcoin per week, 1 bitcoin per month, which is about 6 months per 6 months which is lambo time. Right now that is 120k, but there were times when it was more. So, I assume it is not really that far off.

I have the same logic in my mind because for me it doesn't make any sense to buy lottery tickets when you are getting it free of cost.
People have won lottery with just a single digit number and people haven't won't anything despite holding more than 50k lottery tickets.
So it doesn't really make any sense to buy lottery tickets unless you have some spare load of money which you can spend lavishly.
