It is like optimizing software. Why not spend a little effort and make it go ten times faster? Why not spend some resources on converting 10 times more people from the same stream of interested people and of course add to that stream of interested people. 3 million NXT compared to whatever amount we have already spent on dev is a pretty small percentage. James
I will publish some numbers like: article: 2-5.000 Nxt graphic (poster, infographic): 5.000 Nxt Review: 1-10.000 Nxt Game Tournament: 10-18.000 Nxt ... in the marketing topic to discuss about them and to get to the real numbers. But 3 Millions sound like a good number

I would suggest marketing "commitee" +- : Salsacz (campaigns, viral marketing, media, people, universities... "organizing" all what is in Media topic) - Bitcointalk, all other forums NiftyNikel (people) - nextcoin Uniqueorn (people) - nextcoin Utopianfuture (articles, people, science world) - Bitcointalk Pinarello (communication with Nxt users) - forums.nxtcrypto, Bitcointalk opticalcarrier (scienceworld?) ? Joefox (texts) - wiki, Bitcointalk ? Anon136 (science world) ? Klee (belongs to the dev commitee) But give me a couple of hours, I will publish a very long post in the marketing topic about my plans for the next 2 weeks and next month (so the others can discuss them and make my plans => our plans). Let's take this serious

Site owners were already rewarded.
When? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Few days ago. 50, 30, 20 kNXT were sent. you mean utilities category? NEWSThe last chance to claim unclaimed coins is over. We have ~13M coins left and they'll be spent for rewards, bounties and development. Now we are running a reward program. I ask the community to post here links (with short description and link to BTT profile) to projects/persons that helped to promote Nxt. Only projects launched before the 3rd of Jan can apply. There will be several categories, BCNext will choose 3 best participants from each category. I'll contact project owners via BTT personal message to get Nxt account ids for reward payments. The 1st place will receive 50'000, 2nd - 30'000 and 3rd - 20'000 NXT. Categories: - Exchanges - Faucets - Giveaways - Utilities (blockchain explorer or http://nxtra.org/nodes/, for example) - Videos - Articles - Bug reports - Tech support - Public nodes deployment - Clients Please, mark project/person names with bold blue font. We r supposed to complete the list within 24 hours starting from now.

Still don't know whether to invest in this. I like the idea of it, but I don't think the program is easy enough to run for less technically minded people. Also there's no media buzz about it, when will it start to take off?
Litecoin is known as the silver of Bitcoins gold. Doge is mentioned due to it's meme popularity. What about NXT?
Basically I'm asking why should I buy some NXT?
we have | Nxt marketing & promotion thread: http://bit.ly/1cTp0iw so the last buzz: Ron Finberg: Digital Currencies 2.0: Meet NXT, the ‘Next’ Ripple (Digital Currency Magnates)

Come-from-Beyond, please ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) my paper: BCNext paid a team of core developers to help him with the client and create some functionalities like decentralized exchanges. One member of the core development team Come-from-Beyond was paid by BCNext to work on Nxt from December 2013 till April 2014. Come-from-Beyond is a 34 years old programmer from Belarus. On January 2014 joined Jen-Luc a core team as a non-paid programmer. May I know how many core developers exist? BCNext paid your team - so how many people are in your "team"? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Klee's guys r supposed to work on the core too. Jean-Luc knows the details. PS: I work since October (started with client part), also u can add that I live in Minsk, it's the capital of Belarus. thank you, So I could also add some pictures ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) but rather not ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.belarus.by%2Frelimages%2F000554_102195.jpg&t=663&c=mzGNnx7qHrr8Pg)

vintagetrex: it would we nice if you bought Nxt by DGEX, price would go up and more people would join Nxt and the snowball would be bigger and bigger.
Hahaha dude you understand. Look, theres innovations that could be made that could have a network built around them, but right now I don't see those being planned. I think Nxt network isn't bad: https://mapsengine.google.com/map/u/0/edit?mid=zDbwNrja6dlY.kwTCMrAWqtAQ(= very old data)
