1821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO for September on: September 28, 2017, 02:32:21 PM
Change raised 47,128 ETH, I think this ICO will succeed, maybe this could be your choice to invest in ico, currently still have 10% bonus, so do not miss Smiley

I believe that successfully ico, which collects relatively quickly hardcap. It is unlikely that change refers to such examples

Reaching the hardcap quickly is by no means the only sign of a succesful ICO, and a succesful ICO is by no means the guarantee of a succesul coin. I spoke with some of the Change devs and their plans will just continue as planned, only a little bit slower. I believe they'll raise 50.000ETH by the end, which is about 15 million dollars. That's a great accomplishment. Sure, Centra got a lot more, but mostly because they paid Floyd to endorse the product. Sooner or later the investors will realise celebs don't know what they're talking about and they'll sell their coins, just like they did with Stox, and just like every single celebrity endorsed coin. Change is backed by real investors, people who know the market, people who helped build the market, not just people who got paid a ton of money to post an instagram picture (not saying Centra is necessarily a bad investment, but a lot of smart people see celebrity endorsements as a last resort to boost popularity)
1822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract - ARTEMINE ICO NOW LIVE on: September 28, 2017, 12:41:31 PM
how many artemine tokens already are purchased? wanna know is there already more than mne tokens total supply?
and how long till ico ends? is there couple weeks, right?

The ICO runs until october 14th I believe, and if you look at their etherscan they got 566.000MNE, so there will be around 30.000.000 ART mined over the course of 60 years (majority invested on day 1 when 100MNE was 10.000ART, the days after that a reasonable amount invested as well)
1823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: September 28, 2017, 11:54:20 AM
As a platform Binance is really kicking ass, they're constantly adding new coins and they keep the market updated.
1824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coin do you Trust the MOST? on: September 28, 2017, 11:51:04 AM
I trust most of my investments, which are:
BTC
WTC
NEO
SONM
CHANGE (ICO)
DATUM (ICO)

I also have money in Artemine (ICO) and Dimecoin. Artemine is a great product but the devs need to do a lot more marketing and act a lot more professional. Dime is basically the cheapest coin I could find so I thought I'd invest 50$ in them. I was able to buy almost 20 million of them, now we wait for a small peak or a listing on a good exchange and I'm happy lol
1825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Stox - Prediction market platform | Token sale has ended on: September 28, 2017, 11:48:11 AM
Finally price going up, it's still below the ico price but I think it's a good sign Grin

The team needed to prove themselves. They can't just pay Floyd a few millions STX and expect their brand to take off. I'm glad they're showing us they're taking it serious again
1826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x-1000x coin? on: September 28, 2017, 11:47:13 AM
That's nonsense. In the real world 90% of startups die within their first few years.

Is that true? That shocked me actually. Is there a way to count the 'age' and 'expiration date'? For common startup, not a token

Actually I believe that number is false, I thought it was 60%. There's also a vastly greater difference in internet startups and other startups like a bakery or a clothing store.
1827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]Artemine- First Self Mining Smart Contract 2.0 - ICO LIVE - 400% BONUS on: September 28, 2017, 11:45:23 AM
The concept is really great , But you have real problem here , I have bought Minereum to but Artemine with it but after I did some math I resold my Minereum , I didn''t know that it would be over 60 years ( I know my fault for not reading the whole thing ) , But once I found out it is 60 years I lost interest , Now why would anyone by $1000 to he/she would take them back over 60 years even if the price of Artmine doubled hmm even if it X 10 why would I pay 1000 now to take it over the next 60 years 10,000 even if the price X10 it is totally not worth it (Specially in crypto world ) , I did not put in the other factors too !! Like what is the chances that this project will still existing not for 60 years but  for even the next 10 years ! . I did not mention that until this moment there is no real uses for the coin Artemine ! but I am sure development team promised for a lot of uses in the future .   That project would have been great if the mining was over a span of 6 or 12 months max .

This is weird, so we will receive our tokens after 60 years ??   no way, i think there is misunderstanding.

We participated on this project to receive our tokens directly, after 60 years no one assure himself to be in this world.

Artemine is a self mining coin, which means it gets mined by your own address over a period of 60 years. Lets say you have bought 21900 artemine. This means over the period of 60 years, 365 days a year, you'll get exactly 1 arte on your address a day. Now, if the devs choose to let MNE and Art work together, both projects could prove very lucrative. Imagine paying your monthly World App fee with Arte, or investing 20 Arte a month in the Lottery, or buying an Arte genesis address with Mne, ...
1828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Change - The First Decentralysed Crypto Bank [ICO September 16th] on: September 28, 2017, 10:08:17 AM
Nothing new - this project is just second Estonian-grounded project simply extending ideas of previous Estonian digital Polybius bank, which first proposed idea of blending banking services with financial marketplace. The slight difference is that Polybius team was shy to mention cryptos in conjuction to banking services, but these guys dare to do it.
As far as it concerns crypto accounts and crypto-nominated debit cards - there are hundreds of such start-ups and even well-established companies like MonacoCard, Coinsbank, UQUID etc.

Economic model is also weak - in WP they promise to distribute only 10% of annual income to tokens holders and try to sell only 40% of token supply for near 50mln. For instance, Polybius bank engaged to distribute 20% of annual income for all tokens, from which 93% are sold to public. Thus from financial perspective Polybius token is 17x more attractive then CAG.

Given these considerations I restrain to participate in this ICO and not recommend anybody to engage in it.

that's quite a misinterpretation of numbers, i'm afraid.
https://medium.com/@CryptoJudgemnt/comparing-cryptobanks-tenx-monaco-change-polybius-tokencard-bankera-54345c04c6a7

This article just compares team, fees and some other basic elements.
Team actually is better in Change, then in other project , it is good moment.
But financing finacial project, you need also to deep inside token model. And here Change sucks.
You could simply find out actual 17x difference in expected returns between Polybius and Change in favour of first one. It seems Change team is too greedy!

As far as it concerns 'Polybius is scam' - but most of them is soft scam! For instance MonacoCard: they get on ICO near $25mlns, but it is already known that they launched crypto-card leveraging third-party WaveCrest solution. It costs them nearly $300/$400thnd. + 2mln for marketing, and rest of money was pocketed-out.
So no doubt Change will obtain EMI licence and be able to launch product - they openly stated in wp that will use third-party solution for card-issuance, see page 25. The question is that $4/$5mln is enough even taking into account thier innovative API for other fintech, so asking investors for $50mln is soft scam too.

Where do you get the x17 difference in ROI? Also, Change isn't greedy, there's a lot more money needed to accomplish what they want to do. Change offers a larger number of services than Polybius, which means they have a larger change of adoption, AND they'll need more money to actually install those services.

Let him be lol, more activity in the Artemine thread means higher chance of success IMO
1830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Antshares/ NEO [NEO] on: September 28, 2017, 09:27:27 AM

Korea has a lot of buying power...

source: https://twitter.com/clarkism101/status/912960371434115073

people don't realise the effect of a korean exchange, this is fantastic!
Yes it's not like people all around the world can buy it on bitrex or some other exchange, it needs to be Korean one...

Don't know whether you're being sarcastic or not, so I assume you are. If the whole world was able to buy on Bittrex without any problems, it would be the only exchange. More exchanges, more overall value, more money to investors
1831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Change - The First Decentralysed Crypto Bank [ICO September 16th] on: September 28, 2017, 09:24:36 AM
CAG rocks, they raise so much money in short time, I think they will raise 100k ETH eventually, let us see.

I hope so they will get succeed to raise more than 100k ETH still 19 days left to invest into this ICO. This is life changer project investors has chance to make big profit in future when the service will start working.

They're not gonna get over 60.000 ETH, they're barely getting 1000 ETH a day. Hopefully they can continue their plans with 140.000 eth less than what they planned on raising

still enough time they will get hard cap
with the funds they managed to collect almost 95% before hard cap, I'm sure they will continue the project very well

Dude I'm not saying its gonna be a problem or something, but look at their website, 47.222 ETH, that's including presales. If they get to 50.000 ETH it'll be a miracle as now they're barely getting 100 ETH a day. Demand isn't suddenly going to pick up now, so I hope they have a plan for this kind of situation. Raising only 25% of the ideal amount is bound to have some effects on their schedule.
1832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: September 28, 2017, 09:17:07 AM
Wow, look at the price.... Van you imagine what will happen if there will be new tech.
Price only increased 10%  since yesterday. Nothing much to say "wow" because the price still under ICO (-56%)

Who need to correct who?

*ICO was 0.12ct per sonm...so it is only -2ct now per sonm....

*there's no dividend in this project, you will get a share of computing power that are sold on sonm marketplace. (True)

*Bittrex will hit october-december (i know they are working on this, spoke to a couple of people from sonm, and this is number 1 thing october)

AND yes there will be something new...ARCH will be there soon, imo max 2 days ;-)

If we get Sonm on Bittrex, prices won't stop until we reach 0.5$, maybe even ATH

1835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WaltonChain WTC on: September 27, 2017, 08:42:06 PM
WTC has had a heck of a run over the past week. When is the genesis block? Trading volume is increasing along with the price, I wish I had some spare powder for this one.

Yeah bought at 2$ during the last rally and doubled down when it hit .65$ and now I'm thinking we could see 10$ in a month or two!

while I don't think this is necessarily out of the realm of possibility when you factor in the quality of project + the incentive of masternodes, I think this current pump has to do with October 18th speculation in China.  Most of the Chinese coins pumped over the past 24-48 hrs, and there is a thought that the ICO ban may be lifted after the Chinese elections.  If that doesn't happen, the market could react in a nasty way.

Walton's a great long term buy regardless tho.

Is the election really going to effect anything?  The government is trying to regulate ICO's not ban them, I think it's inevitable the temporary ban will be lifted and legitimate ICO's will be welcome to open for business.  The government is trying to crack down on fraud and will make the industry stronger as a whole, I've been bullish on this ICO ban news since I heard it...

I mean the current outlook as far as I know is that China has banned ICOs completely.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/chinese-bitcoin-tycoon-advocates-central-banks-decision-to-ban-icos-in-china

They've been kind of flip floppy on whether they will open it back up with regulation or not, and to me that seems more like an IDEA until we actually see them do that.  They're a communist government, so I don't look at it as a given that ICOs will be back in the near future with regulation.

My understanding is that there is this idea that they are taking this hard line on cryptos because it has a political impact that will no longer be relevant once the elections are over, thus they might chill out.

I'm a Walton holder though and I'm just playing Devils advocate to the $10 by end of October argument.  So China stuff aside, we still have the bitcoin hard fork coming up around November 1st.  If they try to paint that in the media like it's a "civil war" like they did for the BCH fork this past summer, I personally think BTC will tank.  When BTC tanks usually everything else does.  Not to mention, Ethereum could potentially fork as well, and these are things I still believe have negative connotations to the general public (even though they REALLY aren't even that bad, it's damn near like free money IMO).

If those forks bring FUD, the whole market will start bleeding, and Walton won't be safe from that...nothing will though for the most part.

Its good some of us play Devils advocate. Allthough I firmly believe 10$ in October is possible, it'll all depend on the outcome of the next couple of weeks in China. Like you said, everything could tank if the Chinese decide to really put the brakes on Cryptos
1836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: red pulse ICO worth it? on: September 27, 2017, 08:17:33 PM
why is neo rising so much? can someone post me a link to the news causing this? i can't find anything relating to any change? Checked there twitter, nothing?

read this thread dude. It's a combo of growing overall trust in the market, less FUD, a new China listing, rumors of a poloniex listing, red pulse ICO coming october 8th, ...

i read the thread, but i can't find any news articles anywhere to back up any of these claims so it's all heresay so far. If a new china listing than why isn't it on the neo website, twitter, facebook or any of the crypto news channels?

Its a korean exchange. Even without that one, NEO still has a lot going for it.
1837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WaltonChain WTC on: September 27, 2017, 08:16:09 PM
$10 by the end of October
$100 by Summer 2018.

Conservative Estimate.  Grin

Very possible, this could easily reach NEO's potential as both coins are equally innovative and strong.

I'm sorry if this had been asked already. I hold some amount of SNM in my ether wallet and if I start trading in binance, store my SNM there, will I be able to collect percentage of the dividends just like storing NEO where we can receive GAS in binance?

Cheesy  With all due respect man, we're no where CLOSE realizing a profit share from SONM to even be worried about that right now.  You'd be hard pressed to get a reliable answer regarding this right now

Indeed, we'll get dividends when the Sonm Network is live

Do you know how much % of the profit is given to the token holders

no idea man
