1841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where is a good place to play slots? on: September 14, 2018, 02:25:55 PM
Looking for an online casino to play slots? Will be nice to offer some kind of high roller bonus?

are you looking for a cryptocasino or a fiat casino?
there are hundreds of fiat casinos that offer slots, the only thing that they are not provably fair
and you have to rely on the operators of the casino and the licensing bodies not to cheat you out of your money
if you want to try some exclusive cryptocasino slots , try crypto-games.net  or bitvest.io
they both offer unique and very addictive slot games that are provably fair and you can verify the results of every roll
1842  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-09-12] Bitcoin Dominance Eyes 60% as Ethereum Price Flounders on: September 14, 2018, 01:55:37 PM
Remember how in the last year Ethereum fans were anticipating "the Flippening" - a scenario when ETH marketcap surpasses Bitcoin marketcap. For a few days a lot of people seriously believed in this possibility, but now, a bit more than 1 year after, crypto community seriously discusses how Ethereum is going to die soon. Everyone should take this as a lesson of how a common sentiment is never a good indicator of the future and how volatile and experimental the world of cryptocurrencies is.

it just started for ETH, the troubles I mean
they have announced the block reward cut to 2 eth per block instead of 3
also there are ASICS to mine ETH hitting the market very soon (unless they are just waporware, but it is highly unlikely since its Bitmain's child and they do not copulate around)
so flippening was just fappening and can soon be real rippening for Vitalik's creation
1843  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-09-13] Bitcoin Price Should Stabilize Near $5,000: Allianz Chief Economist on: September 14, 2018, 01:21:36 PM
It is not terribly common for a mainstream economist to say something good about bitcoin in the period of its downtrend, but Mohamad El-Erian once again made an exception.

Cryptocurrency’s Not Going Away

The Allianz chief economic advisor said in an interview that cryptocurrencies are not dead, though they may be overvalued. He specifically mentioned bitcoin as an asset whose buy value should be circa $5,000, a sentiment he had already shared in June. In his latest statements, El-Erian added that unnecessary speculations had led to the previous bullish action, causing an unwarranted buying frenzy.

Continue reading >> https://www.ccn.com/bitcoin-price-should-stabilize-near-5000-allianze-chief-economist/

Saying that cryptocurrencies are not dead is saying something good? I think that the views of El-Erian are not as pessimistic as those of other economists, but they are pessimistic all the same. It all depends on how you word his views. An author could give it a pessimistic spin by saying 'further drop in price predicted before stabilization'.

they are more optimistic than pessimistic
pessimistic would be "bitcoin being a ponzi and scam not worth anything, sell it now!"
these words coming from a banker and your classic old school economist are a good indicator of the potential
and that the banking system realised the futility of the attempts to dismiss the phenomenon like an annoying fly
not reacting long time to any predictions be it bullish or bearish, the market will decide the price (or those clever and rich enough to be able to manipulate it)
bitcoin is here to stay,period.
1844  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-09-11] Stern Professor Says Bitcoin Will Hit Zero After 70 Percent Drop on: September 14, 2018, 12:59:07 PM
stoped reading after ... actually, no read it
this professor has as much credibility in this area as me in nuclear phisycs, aka none
even his logics is flawed not even talking about the validity of the argument
there is no histroical precedent either, we had three drops  80% or more already
and could be heading for the fourth one, after this there always was a new record high every time
1845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Luxury Car Designers Rolls Royce,Bentley And Bugatti To Accept Bitcoin on: September 14, 2018, 12:42:51 PM
great news , especially for the whales Smiley
luxury cars is the segment that only a few can afford to buy but this would do wonders for adoption, imho
now it excludes the link in the chain "convert to fiat-buy what you need"
also more retailers and companies will follow the suit, imagine going to Wallmart and seeing "We accept Bitcoin here" sign?
the more companies start to accept bitcoins, the faster it will become mainstream and challenge the corrupt thieving bank systems
1846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who controls the crypto market? on: September 14, 2018, 10:53:18 AM
whoever has the money controls the markets, easy as it is
as everywhere in a capitalist society, whoever has the resources and money is getting richer, the poor are getting poorer
crypto market is pure supply demand, if you have enough money to buy bitcoins en masse you could drive the price up
but the question is do you really need it? there is no control as in corner the market per se
more of the using the market to make more money, playing with the price
1847  Economy / Gambling / Re: CryptoBlink.com ★ Micro Lotteries ★ Promos ★ Player Referral Program on: September 14, 2018, 09:41:25 AM
Seems like a good game but the real problem is there are not enough users to participate. All the slots are open and waited for 1 hour to see anyone joining but, i couldn't find one. Is there a peak time to join the lottery?
It seems that the admin of the site might need to find another way to attract more players to play on the site except giving out the promos code which is not working very well at the moment, the waiting time for a few players to join a game is too long and usually the funds will end up being refunded from a game as the blink expired.

After one weeks wait time, seen some slots getting filled. But still there are lack of players on the website. I can see that twitter promo earned some new members to the website. Happy to see that some familiar usernames from this forum. So, it is obvious that people are interested in this topic. Keep up the good work.

with the faucet introduction it is easier for players to test the site, but to find even faucet opponents can take hours
then you are tired of waiting and also auto logged of by the site Smiley
what happens next-you close the tab, so the owners should promote more agressively to make sure there are players online
some suggestions: a weekly/monthly wagering competition where top spots are rewarded with some crypto or bonuses(like bigger faucet, rakeback etc.)
chat games and giveaways to make sure the social aspect of the site is used-people come to gamble and communicate too
buy some advertising at anonymous ads or the likes,it doesn't cost arm and leg but could drive more players
1848  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitPot.io the first Bitcoin live jackpot ! FREE FAUCET on: September 14, 2018, 09:22:39 AM
Faucet is not working for me, it gives me a notification that 10 tokens are credited to my account but my balance stays at 0. Used the refresh button next to the balance and even reloaded the page but nothing happened.

Edit: Got it after few times reloading the page. It seems that the refresh button (the one next to balance) is not really working or maybe it is a browser issue as I use Opera.

Hey thanks for your advice. I see that almost every player can claim the faucet without a problem. I think it is a browser problem in your case. I try to make the site more "Browser friendly".

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy DONT FORGET TO CHECK THE TOP PLAYERS WE ARE GIVING AWAY 5 mBTC TO THE TOP BETTERS IN 2 DAYS Grin Grin Grin ;

https://bitpot.io/leaderboard.php <-- Bets are very low at the moment !

I am having the same problem. I wanted to try the game by claiming faucet but the balance stays zero after the claim and I have to wait around two hours for the next claim. The minimum bet amount 0.0001mBTC and the faucet offers 10 coins per claim. What is meant by 10 coins?

same for me, I don't see anything in my balance after I claim faucet
nor the way to exchange the tokens to crypto anywhere
am I doing something wrong?
and how many top bettors are getting 5 mbtc,by the way? in case I wanted to deposit and participate

choose your margin for each game : 1-less risk 5 -more risk (10 for dice)
choose the amount you want to invest and your currency
press invest-easy peasy
if you want to learn more, read the investment tab-investment terms
you can divest at any time,by the way, so it doesn't hurt to try
1850  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitPot.io the first Bitcoin live jackpot ! FREE FAUCET on: September 11, 2018, 11:27:53 AM
you have a bot/cheater problem on your website
all the users starting with 1 in their usernames are bots/cheaters
they always bet 0.006mbtc like 3 or 4 of them on time intervals, i guess they collecting the btc

this game doesn't prohibit you using bots and you should get no advantage if it is provably fair by using bots
this will only allow you to bet a certain amount at certain times, nothing more
I don't see a free faucet there to abuse or anything, so the bots ,if they are bots are fine
the thing is I don't see too many players there at all now, the usual PVP sites problem
1851  Economy / Service Discussion / [2019-09-10] Citigroup works on new Bitcoin trading product on: September 10, 2018, 12:26:43 PM
Citigroup has started working on a new Bitcoin trading product to the market, aiming to be ahead of its Tier I banking rivals around the world

The company is getting legally ‘creative’ in order to offer customers a tradeable, physical Bitcoin asset, known as a ‘digital’ American Depository Receipt (ADR), which functions as a foreign security product.

1852  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Team FREE SCRIPTS, PROOF on: September 10, 2018, 10:48:44 AM
well I do not see hundreds of happy gamblers saying thank you for free scripts in the topic Smiley
but judging by the screenshots its a simple Martingale system
no idea if the OP is familiar with the streak calculators or not
but his "systems" will only work until they do not-the first long streak will wipe all of the balance
1853  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟 Bitcoin To SBOBET Game Casino 🌟 By SBOBTC.COM on: September 10, 2018, 09:56:45 AM
when I see something like this on a gambling site that is targeting english speaking audience

broken english to the max
it is obvious that the site doesn't have money to pay for a translator, so do you really expect them to pay you if you win?

oh and this looks extra suspicious too:

all deposits of 0.1 btc +, come on the new site and is getting 600+$ deposits without a single test one
there are more red flags, but hope this is enough to discourage you from testing the site with your coins
1854  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online Gambling - USA Player Cashout Help on: September 10, 2018, 09:18:36 AM
Hi,

After reviewing a few online casino's that accept bitcoin, I settled on mBitCasino. Of the reviews I found, they mentioned that they accept USA players.  Well, I've been playing and over the last few weeks deposited about $1K in total via BTC and lost. Over the last few days, I've amassed about $4,000 US on their site.  However, I'm now seeing that they may not accept USA players to withdraw.

Couple questions:

1) does anyone via the US use this site succesfully?
2) if they won't allow any US withdrawals, do I have another option?

it depends on whever they ask you for KYC verification or not
they will do it, most likely ,since 4.000$ is quite a big amount
if you were using VPN to hide your location and breached their TOS, they will have all the rights to not pay you
but it depends ,maybe you can prove that you are not living in the US or they process your withdrawal without KYC
but if I were you ,I would read their TOS carefully and make sure you are ready for the questions they may have about your location and residency
1855  Economy / Gambling / Re: CryptoBlink.com ★ Micro Lotteries ★ Promos ★ Player Referral Program on: September 10, 2018, 08:27:59 AM
Any alternatives that we should use?  We are going to start posting notices about faucet bonuses once or twice a day.
You could try to launch some of your site promotions on the games and rounds section, there are a lot of gambling sites that launched their promotions and giveaways on that section, I believe there are quite a number of users on this forum who frequently check out that section for certain casinos promotions and giveaways.

^^ this ,also Discord giveaway servers are cheap to set and pretty good in terms of marketing
if you are serious about your site, a blog , even  a simple Wordpress one,or a forum would be a good idea
and twitter giveaways are fine, just do not expect wonders when you are using one simple marketing tool
it has to be done on a regular basis and in conjunction with other social media promos too
PVP sites main problem-not enough returning customers ,this is why you have to think about retention-maybe use your on site chat more for some giveaways
at random times, faucet happy hours, affiliate bonuses (for example, increased affiliate comission for some time etc.)
be creative and good luck!
1856  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitPot.io the first Bitcoin live jackpot ! on: September 09, 2018, 05:59:29 PM
Hey thank you very much. Maybe i should make it a little clearer to register. But much thanks i really apriciate it Cheesy

not little clearer, but should change your password requrements-they are ridiculous

and this too, while you are at it: (250+ total bet to write in chat) ,really?
other than that- a cool site Smiley
but the idea is getting beaten to death with , what , sixth site this week with the same idea?
1857  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-09-07] Malware Targeting Bitcoin ATMs Goes on Sale for $25,000 on: September 09, 2018, 03:20:31 PM
I think this was some older piece of news picked up by CCN from one of the tech magazines (ZDnet I believe), [urlhttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4863623.0]month old thread here[/url].

As pointed out by our educated forum users elsewhere (can't locate it) the malware proved to be fake, just your everyday blackmarket scriptkiddie trying his luck with a bunch of useless code. I suppose it only takes one fool to believe he could rip off Bitcoin ATMs with a 25k outlay. That anyone with that much money would want to dip into financial crime (and theft, at that) keeps making me wonder what it takes to be wealthy.

I was wondering too who is stupid enough to code a malware that can steal people money/bitcoin and send it back to him. These days, the bitcoin transaction is no longer anonymous, the transaction can be traced easily. unless the attacker can use certain [BTC Tx Mixer Service] to cover his tracks, if possible.

I'm more than sure that many of the mixers are created for the sole purpose of tracking the stolen coins
would be unwise of the govermental agencies to let them mixers go unchecked
and yeah bitcoin can be traced easily, way easier than cash and even bank transactions
and aslo this piece of news is outdated and has long time ago been debunked
if the malware was real , we would have heard about it in the news like "Bitcoin ATM got hacked and funds stolen"
1858  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-29] Crypto trader: The bulls will be back if bitcoin holds above $7,000 on: September 09, 2018, 02:33:56 PM
the bulls are not back, sadly , we are now fighting to not get below 6000$
the resistance levels are holding strong around 6100-6300$ but all can change in a moment
look at the 1000$ drop from 7300$ to 6300$ in less than a day
historically, end of the year should be favorable for bulls, but given the wild growth of the past year I'd be happy if we stay in the 7000-8000$ corridor
always prefer a steady, gradual growth to the sporadic, inexplicable volatile spikes both ways
1859  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟Bitvest🌟 ☞Play☜ ▓ ♦️Invest♦️ ▓ ♠Games♠ ☞ Plinko♣Dice♣Slot♣Roulette♣Bitspin ▓ on: September 09, 2018, 01:27:49 PM
Whoa! Just saw that right after my post on 30th Aug this thread suddenly got filled with responses from players giving their love too. Never knew I had any ability to kick off love campaigns;)

Just here to say that site has been somewhat slowish for me in past 2 days, especially when choosing All bets to watch. My betting speed is set to max but autobet on plinko now takes forever with 32 bits dropping. Is this typical for everyone else too?

there was a performance update yesterday
the site was in a maintenance mode for a brief moment, maybe a couple of minutes
I see vast improvement in speed now,at least I have zero lag issues

and yeah, the site deserves much more attention from gamblers, slaman, its an awesome place to both gamble and chill in chat Smiley

Oh that's cool to hear. It wasn't that unbearable before obviously, or I wouldn't keep coming back, but yeah plinko was a big pain after a while and it is sometimes almost as quick manual clicking than it is with autobet.

Scaling is good, it means the site is getting more traffic, more players!

I'll be back in a couple of hours to check it out. Early morning when everyone's asleep and outside it totally dark. That's when I love coming online;)

good thinking, slaman Smiley early mornings are also when Promo is online (thats if you are East coast)
and the rainbot gets some love and extra bonus rain, haha
so it is both smart and profitable

1860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2018-09-04] Someone just bought a cryptocurrency cat for $172,000 on: September 09, 2018, 11:58:14 AM
...or maybe there was nothing else newsworthy to write about  Cheesy
600 eth for a digital tomagochi is crazy, but if you are into this kind of things and have more eth than you can spend in a lifetime, why not?
besides the kitty is rumoured to be very cute
cryptokitties are the pioneers in this business, now the sites like that are popping like mushrooms after a rain
so maybe an early horse or a hedghog bought for a tenner could make you a fortune later on,who knows

Personal interest or just risking out some amounts for potential fortune later on. This is how some people do have the money can put up so much risk on buying something.I cant even afford to buy a $10 digital cat and how much more if it do talks about hundreds of thousands?

if you cannot afford to buy a 10$ digital cat, then maybe rethink your earning schemes  Wink
but for some it is the soup thats too weak , for some its the diamonds that are too small - if there are people buying pieces of code with a cat picture for 600 eth
means it is worth 600 eth at that point in time  and that someone is willing to pay that much for it
this is the usual misconception about "oh it cannot be worth that much" same as cryptocoins prices and many other things
always the supply/demand model:if it is sold or bought at 6400$ now, means that it is worth exactly that today
it may cost 5.000$ or 100.000$ tomorrow or in a year's time but only if there are byers willing to buy it
