1842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins to go crazy again once Bitcoin reaches 20k? on: October 29, 2019, 02:51:10 PM
Is it possible that we see another altcoin season, if Bitcoin breaches the all-time high and go above 20k? Do you find a direct correlation?
I think its YES! if that happen i'm pretty sure altcoins will breakout most of the time altcoins were followed the trend if the Bitcoin gains was solid, If Bitcoin will break its previous ATH that will be another milestone not just for Bitcoin but in the entire cryptocurrency industry.
1843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO Profitable than ICO's? on: October 29, 2019, 02:45:28 PM
I don't think IEO's are guaranteed to be profitable, its all the same as with ICO's! Investors are just speculating and buy the tokens, the only difference from ICO's and IEO's are the funds security since its was stored on the exchange while in ICO mostly it just stay in the hands of the team thats why its very risky for and exit scam modus.
1844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will China start Altcoin Season on: October 28, 2019, 10:53:39 AM
I hope so!

In my opinion many Chinese are feverishly opening accounts right now to invest
Chinese search engines are reporting the Chinese are searching this topic feverishly!
If these guys start investing in the projects that are on the Chinese list of preferred projects I don’t need to tell you what will happen.

As an example, I am invested in Cardano and it is on the list and they also have a solid presence in China

https://www.tronweekly.com/iohk-bringing-cardano-ada-closer-to-chinese-market/

I am not telling you to buy Cardano it is an example. There are many projects on the Chinese preferred  list.

List is here:

https://news.bitcoin.com/china-rankings-37-crypto-projects/
If that happens will that was a very good news! Altcoins needs boost since it was hardly affected of the price dump in the previous months, If the chinese investors will help and choose altcoins rather than Bitcoin alone its should be watch since its a huge pump if ever happen. but its just an speculation i'm not sure about it! lets wait and see.
1845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Would you participate in new project if it is not listed in ICO rating websites? on: October 27, 2019, 03:23:57 PM
If the project that conducting and ICO was legitimate then why not? At first when i use to invest in some ICO's before in 2018 precisely! I'm not consider to look on any ICO rating site, Since those ICO rating sites are just after the money thats why its not reliable at all. I was remember when one of the project that i was invested turn into a scam despite the truth that it has earned a good rating on the most ICO listing site how ironic!

1850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance could be Wash Trading Latest Statistics Show on: October 26, 2019, 11:41:39 AM
Well im a Binance user since 2017 until now! Base on that statistics im not surprise, Since most of all so called big exchange has doing that I dont think thats still relevant today, There were lots of exchange to choose from so why just single out Binance for that matter, Wash trading are exist in every cryptocurrency exchange thats my opinion.
For the better relief let those relevant audit firm do the check up!
1851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Unrealistic bounty allocations on: October 26, 2019, 11:23:55 AM
What kind of a bounty hunter are you? the one who is always eager to promote new projects? or the one who select the projects that appeared to be worthy? or for example you like projects with million dollars allocation like...

Well here is the fact, any bounty that gives out huge bounty rewards are unrealistic, we all know that we are in a bad crypto season but still they think this is the best way to lure you, this doesn't mean the project is scam but forget the dollar price tag and don't bother to calculate based on $$$$ because you can get 10$ instead of your 500$ worth of token, i prefer already listed and trading projects, what about you? do you agree or disagree?

Great observation and thats true still many bounty campaigns today that offering a huge bounty allocation like millions of dollars, and you are right thats too good to be true! BTW after those my previous failed bounty experiences im now carefully selecting bounty campaigns that i like to promote, not in quantity but in quality.
1852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet list for AltCoins <100+ AltCoins Covered> on: October 25, 2019, 01:40:38 PM
Hello Everyone, I see many of us face the problem of finding wallets for storing AltCoins that we trade. I am adding here the list of articles I have found for altcoins.

Will Keep on Adding/Editing this list When I find More Coins.

Great! the list of mobile wallets for Android and IOS I think its useful and it will help a lot for those in hard time to find available wallets for their favorite cryptocurrencies specially for Android and IOS, thanks for sharing your list buddy hoping to add more if it still available to share with additional wallets.
1853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: October 25, 2019, 01:16:40 PM
When up-and-coming DEXs become more convenient than Binance...

Projects like:

Stakenet
Komodo Atomic DEX
Nash
Blocknet
Bisq
Switcheo
Loopring
IDEX
WAVES
Bithumb
...And many more...

Why would anyone ever want to keep using centralized exchanges, especially when their volume becomes irrelevant?

Why would anyone voluntarily send their funds to a wallet on a vulnerable exchange where they don't own the keys and their funds could be frozen at the drop of a hat?

I think the days of centralized figureheads acting as gatekeepers are numbered.
I dont think so! Let me clarify my stand im not againts with any trustworthy DEX, But the problem of many DEX til today is the volume (too low volume) thats why many  traders still using the centralized exchange because it has more attractive volume compare to DEX. Its a long way for DEX before it will come up with the centralized exchange popularity and that was my opinion.
1854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asia can be the biggest crypto market on: October 24, 2019, 01:07:59 PM
maybe more crypto investors from continental Europe and America. but actually Asia is the biggest market for crypto because it has the most populous countries like China, India and Indonesia. and more importantly, Asia also has fairly stable internet access at the moment, unlike Africa which is still having trouble getting to the internet. many business models that can be applied there, especially in the financial sector such as payment instruments. but why the reality isn't what I imagined. at present crypto is only a notion and there is no real use that can really be applied to crypto except investment.

many think it's all because of the Regulation, but I don't think so. Regulations can be changed and there are currently no regulations that actually prohibit crypto. so this is not the main reason.

then what do you think?
I think thats wrong notion, I still believe that the regulatory issues was the biggest challenges of the cryptocurrency industry elsewhere, Because you cant apply decentralized finance on the centralized government finance and Banking system thats contradicting and opposite in direction thats why it needs to be balance first, But some countries are already created a unique regulatory guidance that allowed cryptocurrency to thrive for example the Philippines the government has not forbid its citizen to invest in crypto trading even some centralized banking system has own already a cryptocurrency ATM's, including a cryptocurrency stablecoin back with local currency. I think majority in Asian countries is now open to accept cryptocurrency except both china, India and some middle eastern countries, that always changing there minds.
1855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zuckerberg: we will exit from project Libra !!!! on: October 24, 2019, 12:45:03 PM
Zuckerberg: if legislators’ trust is not gained, we will exit from project Libra
CEO of Facebook in a hearing in front of the Congress said that Facebook is no longer in the position of project controller and the operation of Libra is independent.
What do you think about this?
I think thats weird, in the other article that i read, its contradicting, BTW Libra has a long way to go before they can convince most of the US politician, because the way these politician look on Libra is a treat to US$ dollar it should come up with another convincing idea that Libra is a not treat of US$ dollar, or else Libra project will be scrap, Regulatory thing is hard to do specially when involving cryptocurrency, i think thats unfair.
1856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people easily get scammed on the internet? on: October 23, 2019, 12:56:27 PM
What is Scam?
Scam is a dishonest scheme that is carried out by an individual or groups of persons in mode of taking away something that is valuable to others. Those who perform these acts are reffered to as scamers.

How do people get involved, how easily are people scammed and reasons?

Many individuals think of the internet as a get rich quick scheme and once they are exposed to any form of investment promising high ROI, witjout a second taught they jump onto it, you and I as well know how this will end? In a nutshell, GREED is a factor

Secondly the inability to conduct research and make real findings on our own. All this as a result of laziness.

Add yours!!

I entreat all of us to be on the look out for scan projects, make our findings and proof beyound doubts their scam intentions and also avoid been greedy when making an inveatment
Thats one of the main reason the GREED most people are after with the easy money and big profit scheme thats why it was easily fall for those promises that offered a too good to be true ROI modus,  and it was repeatedly happen so i guess most people are not yet learn from the mistakes of others when i was scam in ICO in 2018 i promised to my self that it wont happen to me again thats why im very careful now in terms of investing in cryptocurrency specially in IEO.
1857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ultimate List of Exit Scams & How to Spot One on: October 23, 2019, 12:38:02 PM
Exit scams have affected many people in the cryptocurrency world. In this article, we've gathered a comprehensive list of exit scams, and some tips on how to avoid becoming a victim. ❌ https://selfkey.org/the-ultimate-list-of-exit-scams-how-to-spot-one/

Did you experience being scammed in one of these?
I think some of information about Centra was missing, Im not directly scam with centra since im not participating in their ICO, But i was an early believer of its project when it was listed on Binance i bought  and hold CTR token on Binance, Since it was good project the whitepaper details are also good and even they are schedule to launch its own Blockchain The Centra Chain, but i was surprise with the news about its fraudulent way of raising money during and ICO, and base of the result of my own information gathering back then, there was a two sides of the story, Between the SEC and the so called celebrity indorsment and Visa,Mastercard lies. including its Team! I believe that there was a hidden agenda in both story and i dont know were to believe.
1858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Expectation And Reality In The Current Situation on: October 23, 2019, 12:13:12 PM
When 2019 started you have a lot of expectation especially when the price is moving up again from a very long bear trend, you expect that the price will reach another all-time high this year, because of a lot of great news like the Facebook coming in the market.

I'd like to ask the community, is your expectation close to the reality that we've experiencing right now?

IMHO! even in the bottom of my target price was not hit, My expectation since 2018 was really great but the reality was not even closer. As 2019 passing by im still optimistic that the market can recover, But i was wrong most of my altcoin holdings was experiencing a massive decline of its prices, until i was surprise when the Bitcoin price was reach $13K in july i was expecting a major bullrun along with altcoins but still my expectation was far from reality. Until today altcoin price was continue to decline slowly.
1859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HELP! I want to invest but don't know which and how. is DigiByte ok? on: October 22, 2019, 12:55:46 PM
im 18 years old and have $100 (Canadian) that I would like to invest. im not looking for a quick buck or anything, doing this just to see how it is investing in cryptocurrency. upon research, I came upon DigiByte and was wondering if this is a good investment for the long run? ive been following for the past 2 days and it has gone up in value and then down again. if this is not a good investment I would love to hear of others. thank you  Tongue
Well your $100 Canadian dollars was a good choice to start for trial and error and if its your choice to invest in Digibyte will thats your call, As a crypto enthusiast I dont easily give a negative remarks in any coins/tokens base on their trading price today, As we all know many good Platforms out there that has a true use case, product and services offered are still cheap due to the market condition. Let your experience teach you and learn how cryptocurrency investment works Goodluck!
1860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges Tokens on: October 22, 2019, 12:41:58 PM
I have seen many exchanges have launched their own token like Binance with BNB, Idex with IDEX, Hotbit with HTB, Yobit with YO etc. where exchanges use their own tokens as another way to pay fees to support token. In addition to it, different strategies are used to create a hype like decrease in supply etc.
But if an exchange goes through a hard period of time and shuts downs then ultimately that token will come to its end because there is no community other than that exchange supporting the token simply because it has no usage outside the exchange.
According to me exchanges should promote the usage of their coins/tokens outside the exchange to build a community in support of it. If your community consists of huge individual entities who believe you then a great community can be formed. Otherwise lack of applications would lead these things to disaster.
Luckily those exchange that launch of 2017 with its own coin or token, has already gain much value in terms of price, Like Binance coin (BNB) i was remember when i first  trading on Binance, I use BNB just for fees, and its the same with other exchange too! Back at those times Binance is just a raw exchange without any other token utilization or use but just for fees, But if we talking about with the new established exchange in 2019 with its own token/coin, I dont think it will be like a (BNB) in the future or just like IDEX. Since things has change a lot in the crypto industry. Other causes was the lack of innovative approach for the utilization and usecase of there native token/coin plus the unfavorable market condition that we experiencing today maybe thats the reason why some of the crypto exchange today are slowly fading away, and relying  much support from a so called community is just an option due to the strong competition between cryptocurrency exchange globally thats why we cant expect loyalty among traders. That was just my opinion and im not an expert!
