1841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy more ETH? on: August 16, 2018, 07:22:53 PM
I want to buy some ETH more, but the market is too bleak. What should I do?
If you are asking this type of question at this time that means you still will not buy no matter what we say here to you. At thus price is the best ether can go if you remember that it actually got to over $1,000 few months past. Now is a cheap time to buy if you want to know.

Vlad what has happened to the riddle thread? It was my only solace in the sea of despair and misery my daily life has become since all is crashing down around me  Cry
Despair and merriment are also part of life but you do realize that this is not the end of the market even with what is going on. It is a crash right now and that does not mean the uptrend will not come soon. Let us all be positive that prices will go up back. Perhaps in a few weeks time.

Will all that make price rise? Because the BCA is almost worthless at the moment.

I read in the other thread of a signature bounty for this project but I have not found it. Please, anyone know where the signature bounty is at?
1845  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook shares price fell -24% on: July 26, 2018, 06:09:07 AM

5 days back, I deleted my facebook account and yesterday facebook fell -24%

I was getting hundreds of friends request from porn/sex websites, prostitutes, homosexuals, nude people, pictures of people with AK-47 rifles etc....

Be careful on the internet.
You do not get friend requests from people out of the blues. You must visit similar profiles to get requests from such people. So your weird requests did not just happen. You asked for that.
1846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strong hands VS Weak hands, who will win? on: July 25, 2018, 12:40:28 AM
The way things are looking now it is clear that weak hands are already regretting for letting go even till last week. They will regret more as price has started rising. The strong hands have the win.

You can get a ban for putting your referral link here. I believe it is against the forum rule.
1848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: RollBurst.com Signature Campaign Only for Sr. Members on: July 20, 2018, 10:23:53 PM
This is a novice going into managing a campaign. Can't you get someone with a good knowledge to do this for you? Here is for bitcoin paying campaigns

Mistakes make a man perfect.  I would love to do mistakes and learn myself.  I am not lazy to just appoint some one. Every one made mistake initially and learned it.  If this is for Bitcoin Paying Campaigns, which section is the right section?
Kindly search the bounty section of Altcoins, and move this there. I love your spirit of learning it yourself but any mistake and confusion on this can get your account tagged for scam if posters do not get paid.

1850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will you still use MEW? on: July 10, 2018, 09:17:29 PM
Another day, another hack.  Basically My Ether Wallet was hacked via the chrome extension hola.  At this point it isn't known how many users have been affected or how many tokens have been lost.

https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2018/07/10/mew-hack-hola/

So my question to you is will you still use MEW?  Do you think it is their responsibility what happened?  The hack that happened a couple months ago was bad enough, but now another one?  I find it hard to believe that their credibility will be salvaged after this.
I still do not know why people still use the MEW or why companies and developers still use it for bounties. It is not safe. And with the stress of opening one you will think it should be secured. But it is not. It is the last erc wallet I will use or recommend to anyone. Coinomi is solid but not many use it.
1851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Australian airport now accepting cryptocurrency. on: July 10, 2018, 08:46:24 PM
So an Australian airport now accepting cryptocurrency, we see more and more places doing this... what are some places that need more Crypto atms? Is using these ATMs easy and quick?
News like this help to strengthen our faith in the growth and survival of bitcoin even when we hear the rapid negative news. It is a good one both for Australia and cryptocurrency. I wish this can spread across the world faster.
1852  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin the time last year, bitcoin this time this year on: July 10, 2018, 07:23:04 PM
This time last year, bitcoin was still around $1000+ and nobody could think or imagined bitcoin is going to rise from 1000$+ to like $18000+. There was a huge market rise of it when closing July, August up till December
This is July. Around July 2017 bitcoin price was above $2,500 and not $1000+ as you put it. Bitcoin had a nice run last year but has disappointed many fans this year 2018. All hope is not.lost yet. The price can still shoot up before end of the year.
1853  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook now joining btc? on: July 10, 2018, 04:21:41 PM
Is this a good time for Facebook to try new kinds of stuff. Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg has become the world's third richest man in the world and he has achieved all that just because of technology and a right idea, So do you guys think he will now at least think about experimenting to take bitcoin as a payment method in facebook. I think that will surely change a lot of people's mind around the world and they can freely put some money on facebook business.
Is Zuckerberg now the world's third richest? I thought he was sixth. Well it is a good thing for him to show interest in bitcoin after banning Cryptos adverts in his social media site. And allowing it as payment method will boost bitcoin no doubt.
1854  Economy / Economics / Re: stupidity is so close to poverty on: July 10, 2018, 04:02:09 PM
stupidity is so close to poverty, do you agree with such a phrase?
if it yes, means the poor are the fools.
I want to know your opinion.  Grin Grin
The expression is not completely correct but it is not wrong. I hope you know that 'the poor are the fools.' is not the same as 'the poor are the fools. Otherwise that will be an insult to the poor.
1855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goldman Sachs with the futures on: July 10, 2018, 03:12:34 PM
I could not agree more. Nakamato was trying to get rid of our dependency from the darn banks. I am hoping we will accomplish that in our lifetime.
Removing the depending on banks totally will not be possible in our lifetime just like you have expressed concern. Many people out there do not even know about bitcoin and there are countries banning it and making its spread difficult.
1856  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is this Phishing site? I'm afraid. on: July 09, 2018, 09:54:48 PM
I have same message from the other guy. How to avoid this message. I'm concern to other people here once they opened the link.
The best thing to do is not to bother clicking on the link for anything, not even for curious finding. I got that in the past and I simply deleted it at once. That is what I do when I get such.mails. This signature bots are increasing every day now.
1857  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver? on: July 09, 2018, 08:38:31 PM
People will invest in what they know and trust. And I believe that is why old people invest in precious stones because they think it is a more stable and established investment that has come to stay, unlike the cryptocurrency which is still a 50-50 chance thing.
1858  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency exchange got bigger on: July 09, 2018, 07:01:49 PM
I don't really see any point in creating that many cryptocurrency exchanges. Are we even going to reach so high volume that we will see thousands of exchanges?
No, it is a good thing to have so many exchanges so that traders will have options to choose from. Do you know how many brokers there are in the stock market? Numerous to mention. Brokers do the jobs of exchanges in the stock market. Let there be more.
1859  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency or Stock Market? on: July 09, 2018, 04:01:16 PM
For now, stock market.  Both are risky but at least we have a real thing if we invest in stock.
What is the real thing you have in stock? You think companies do not collapse and disappear on the stick exchange? They do too.

For me, I value cryptocurrency investment more than stocks. I like the risk and the expected high returns it gives me.

We could do a new post for merit on fit to talk
When is the forum going to move away from merit discussions? Are we going to have an anniversary around it. This is already boring.
