1841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 26 days to the halving left, what are you expecting? on: April 16, 2020, 04:08:36 PM
I’m expecting a positive effect but not much on the price because it takes time. The hype for halving is not that huge, better no to expect too much from it. The halving will be big, but base on history we need more time for a big pump. Let’s hope for the best but if bitcoin fails and goes dipper, better to ready your cash to buy bitcoin.
1842  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where could i learn about trading? on: April 15, 2020, 11:45:15 PM
Hi. I am somehow new in crypto world and I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on where could I upgrade my trading skills? Any good website with this kind of info? Thank you.
I started my journey on trading with a help of youtube and you can watch many tutorials on that on how you can improve your trading skills, I also suggest to look for a good books to read about trading. You’re a best position now, make your time more worth it and don’t trade without knowledge about it, keep learning mate and be a good trader.
1843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Will You Start Buying Again on: April 15, 2020, 10:30:29 PM
I’m still buying on every drop and I don’t need to wait for the vaccine because I know if the vaccine was out and people will celebrate because of that, the price will start to go up and that makes bitcoin more expensive compare to its price today. We have to learn how to timing bitcoin, and don’t buy on the peak better to buy when there’s a panic.
1844  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving 2020 and Altcoins on: April 15, 2020, 03:54:38 PM
Hey members,

Wanna hear your thoughts about the upcoming BTC halving we will all see soon and the reflection it will have in both the BTC price and adoption, but also the major Altcoins.

Happy to hear ideas and speculations

Thanks

Its hard to predict the future movements of bitcoin because of the situation of many markets but if we are going to study the result of previous halving, the price of bitcoin doesn’t pump right away it took a year or so to reach its highest price. There are so many speculation about the halving, a month to go and we will see what’s next for bitcoin.
1845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will the gambling addicts do now that the casinos have closed? on: April 15, 2020, 03:05:23 PM
People who have been spending their time on online casinos and physical casinos have now begun to spend time with their loved ones. One of my friend who have been into sports betting has been spending time with his girl playing cards and chess. Even I tried the same, and truly speaking the time is passing like anything. Some has started to do craft works as we've got YouTube and other platforms giving classes and DIY contents.
I have so many realization because of this, and I don’t think if I can go to casino and play again. I felt the love, and happiness on my family, the thing that most gambler are looking into the casinos, the entertainment. Though I still play online, but not that much I’m more on focus to spend my time with my family right now.
1846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should bitcoin not perform now? on: April 15, 2020, 01:37:35 PM
A big threats to the government and the banking industries maybe, and that’s why they are blocking the people from knowing the real usage of bitcoin and cryptocurrency. The world is so busy fighting the pandemic, the $ is facing a big challenge again so I think people can start learning bitcoin now while they have still time and while the price is still down. Don’t worry about the delays, we will hit a big market soon and in the future.
1847  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: The elephant in the room on: April 15, 2020, 10:53:41 AM
ngayon lang? Dati pa naman na yan pinansin hahaha
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3168616.0

Kaya lang masyado tayong mainit ngayon sa Forum because of this, and nagpost pa sya na marami pa syang Alt Account. Nakakabahala, pero thankful ako kase may mga Pinoy paren na nagdedefend na hinde naman lahat ay abusado.
1848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheating or Not? on: April 14, 2020, 11:00:25 PM
Cheating or NOT Cheating?

Coming from altcoinstalk forum I've experience few projects going against their own rules like saying on promotion page that no KYC will be required and after promotion ends they tell promoters to go and open account on an exchange and pass KYC, what can this be called? Cheating? Any consequences for such projects on this forum? Thank you.

If they are talking about another exchange then that is not cheating but if they are talking on their own exchange I think something wrong with that project. If they are planning on Exchange that is asking for a KYC, it can still be a legal project because they are not connected to that exchange and that is the rules of the exchange.
1849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin is more likely to be 100X on: April 14, 2020, 02:35:49 PM
I want to buy some coins, the current alternatives are ogn, ankr, celr, one, and dnt. all on Binance Exchange
Which coin's whale is stronger than other? More speculative value?
I suffered a heavy loss in the bear market, I want 100X

You want an insane profit in just a short time, and remember that investing on Crypto today is totally different 3 years ago. Those coins are quiet new and small, better to go with the top coins like Btc, Eth and Bnb. If you lose big then you must learn something new, or maybe you don’t have the right skills and knowledge about investing in cryptocurrency which is risky for you.
1850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is not in healthy state yet on: April 13, 2020, 02:57:08 PM
More than half of the 2020 crypto conferences were either canceled or postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, while mining manufacturers had to stop the equipment production in China, how good is this for crypto?
We cannot stop the market from falling and we have to admit that many industries are affected, yes its not healthy right now but as a small investor, I still see a dump market as a good opportunity to buy. Crypto will survive, this can still be a safe place for us so don’t lose hope and stay a positive mind towards cryptocurrency.
1851  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [RESOURCES]Youtube's Interesting collection of bitcoin and blockchain videos on: April 13, 2020, 01:50:06 PM
I spend a lot of time on youtube, watching so many reviews, tutorials and some vlogs so for me, youtube is a great source of knowledge, lalo na kung tungkol ito sa bagay na gusto mo. Maraming ways para matuto ng bitcoin and things abouy blockchain technology, this is really helpful mate and sana makita ng mga newbie ito at mag spend ng time para matuto.
1852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are comfortable investing in government controlled investments on: April 12, 2020, 11:39:20 PM
People who choose government-controlled investments because they feel safe, and they think the government will protect it.
If its a government bonds then you will gain profit on that whatever the status of the economy is, and that’s why many investors still prefer an investment like this, no risk but small rewards. If they are comfortable with this, then so be it after all its their money and we can’t force them to take more risk and earn more money.
1853  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading, gambling and binary options. Which one you prefer? on: April 12, 2020, 10:34:14 PM
All those three things were different from each other on their operation and almost each has same amount of risk but I will choose trading over other things because trading looks profitable in long term while other two things are like hit and run with profits only for few times.
In trading you will not depend on our luck 100%, if you work hard on it then good profit will come and this is why I will also go for trading. Honestly, I don’t have enough experience ok Binary option but I know its risk, while gambling is pure of luck and I lose money so many times in gambling.
1854  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I sell bitcoin now? on: April 12, 2020, 03:07:55 PM
Everyone is telling that bitcoin is going to 3K. Every news and notifications points that the trend is going towards 3K.
Bitmex CEO is twitting he believes bitcoin could go even as low as 2100, so would it be better to sell my bitcoin now and buy for 50% cheaper?
Seems like everybody are trying their best to decrease the price, it might be better to move with the herd?
No one knows, those are just the predictions and they are also not sure about that. You have to know when to sell and when not to panic, those people maybe just creating a panic so they can buy cheaper bitcoin. If bitcoin becomes cheaper again then that’s fine, we have to buy on that level and wait again for the bull run.
1855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What matters to grow the price of an Altcoin on: April 12, 2020, 02:11:08 PM
We all know cryptocurrency. We Buying and selling different types of altcoins in different exchanges. Many of altcoins have the same features, total supply, blockchain, even number of decimals, But in their prices, there is a huge difference. So, there is one question that appears at this point that "What matters to grow the price of an Altcoin ?". Is it makes a high price by listing on many different exchanges or the team works behind that altcoin/project? Or something else. This is a big question which all of us want to know.
They must be active and different. Personally, I choose the altcoins for its uniqueness and its purpose in the market, if I saw an almost the same project I will not invest to a new one or I will go for established altcoin and make money there. We all have different thoughts about a coins/tokens, better to focus on that and focus on your standard before investing, altcoins are also a good investment.
1856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will do better in this Economic Crisis ??? BITCOIN or GOLD ??? on: April 12, 2020, 08:13:58 AM
Gold always move because of the seller and buyer, its not that volatile but I don’t believe that no one trades their Gold. We don’t know yet but since Gold is here ever since, and bitcoin is just a decade old we can see the history was in favor to gold. The market crisis will give a best opportunity to gold and bitcoin, and I believe its better to have these two asset, we don’t need to choose where we can buy both of these and I’m sure, they will go up during the recession.
1857  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy re-start 2020 in process 2025 crash on: April 11, 2020, 11:58:17 PM
We started the new recession this year but I don’t know your basis for a big crash on 2025 where every country will rise again after this pandemic. The dollar will stay even if its facing a big challenge right now, but of course it will give a good chance for bitcoin to take the market and people will be informed about it. The future is still bright for cryptohodlers, and if you predict this one then you must be ready for that.
1858  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: ETH - 1ST QUARTER PRICE PREDICTION GAME (2020) on: April 11, 2020, 11:46:16 PM

1859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would a global recession affect cryptocurrencies? on: April 11, 2020, 03:32:02 PM
How would a global recession affect cryptocurrencies?

Now we can slowly answer this question because we are on a market recession but the cryptomarket is not moving significantly and we are still retesting the support and resistance level. Many believes that bitcoin will be the best option during the market recession, this is gonna be the first time for bitcoin and hopefully to see a positive effect to bitcoin.
1860  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Should be subsubject in Economy on: April 11, 2020, 12:48:38 PM
In this time of Crypto Revolution there are some issues supposed to be studied and in my Opinion cryptocurrency supposed to be subsubject when teaching economy this will add many benefits in this revolution.
Well, crypto related literature is not just a sub-subject in my country, because some Universities are already offering a blockchain course and crypto related, we’ve already started the revolution and on time like this, its really good to start learning cryptocurrency. The Economics subject is too broad, and its good if crypto course are different from that subject but on the same department is fine.
