So ive ordered my equipment for my first mining rig.
ive started out with the following:
1x MSI Radeon RX 570 Gaming X 4GB (planning to get 5 more)
1x Intel Core i5 7500
2x Kingston HyperX Fury HX424C15FBK2/8 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 Black
1x Asus Prime H270 Plus Intel LGA1151 ATX Motherboard DDR4
My projected hashrate from the GPU is supposedly 21-25 Megahashes/s
I'm going to mine ZCash first up. not entirely certain the math behind transferring Hashrate to Sols (can anyone help with this?)
So far every time i use a calculator, it says im going to make a couple of cents per day, can someone help explain this? I'm assuming that theres a difference between my hashrate and what the pool will accept.
Reading one persons webpage about using the graphics card ive ordered, his page states the following hashrate for 6x my card.
Ethereum/Ethereum Classic/Ubiq/Dubaicoin: 162 Mh/s
ZCash/Hush: 1620 Sols/s
Monero: 3600H/s
That seems horribly low for what the calculators say my card will do. can someone explain this for me please?

Quite correct numbers. It's unclear what surprises you. There is no button "Give me money". RX570 produces approximately 270-280h/s RX480 - 316-320h/s |

Ну здесь хорошо, что начисляются токены, а не стейки. В этом и прелесть, что на любом этапе можешь выйти и свое получишь, при условии сбора минимума. Не нужно по полгода носить подпись и быть в подвешенном состоянии.
Да это тоже на самом деле обманчивая стратегия на мой взгляд, потому что в Спектре люди тоже ожидали серьёзных выплат, посмотрим что по итогу полчится в спектре, но я так понимаю, что все эти награды должны быть обеспечены хардкапой. Многие не совсем вкуривают что есть токены, они же могут потом стоить 1/10 о запланированный цены сборов и тогда лучше уже стейки меньше будешь переживать от ранних рассчетов. Вроде как мне кажется все таки должны собрать нужную сумму, но как будет на самом деле никто точно не может сказать. Может часть инвесторов попросят деньги и назад и тогда не хватит средств, идея интересная и самое главное уже все как бы примерно работает, но хайпа в сетях и инвесторов как не было так нет. то что они могут потом стоить 1/10 от запланированный цены сборов вообще никакого значения не имеет, так как в баунти оплата токенами по курсу ико все равно Так. Я тут немного не понял схему выплат. Допустим фулу 25 за пост - это максималка токенами на эту сумму если соберут хард, если в 2 раза меньше то 12 например в пересчете на токены. Откуда тут появляется 1/10 я немного не понял проясните. И монеты потом могут стоить как ниже цены исо так и выше если подождать так это везде так 1/10 это товарищи говорят о падении цены токены при выходе на биржи (в свободную продажу). Если не соберут 1,5М$ у нас не будет никаких выплат. Ни 12 баксов за пост, ни даже 6. Да если не соберут даже софт капу то выплат баунтистам не будет и инвесторам должны вернуть все 100% вложений. Забудьте вы про 25 баксов за пост - это все условности которые не понятно откуда притянули, на деле будут делить доли с собранных средств. Тут бы я не согласился, ибо в правилах ясно было указано что будет выплата в токенах в эквиваленте к доллару. И более того половину из этих токенов можно будет продать обратно в компанию лайвтри за эфиры. А особенно учитывая тот факт что многие подписанты слились - думаю обещанная выплата вполне реальна. Интересно только откуда они возьмут столько эфира чтобы выкупать монеты при таких вялых сборах? Конечно еще может наладится ситуация, но хардкап им 100% не светит потому возможность слить за эфир становится все более призрачной с каждым днем. Так основное ИКО уже идет? И как продвигаются сборы? А то сижу думаю, что не очень густое баунти получится у меня. Хотя рано огорчаться, все может быть, и лайв три еще покажет чего стоит. ICO должно стартовать 7-го января. Так что пока никаких сборов кроме pre-sale нет. Если не соберут 1,5 миллиона долларов никакого баунти не будет ВООБЩЕ. Об этом ясно написано в первом посте баунти-топа. |

Has anybody been able to get 4 GPUs to run on an Asus Prime B350-Plus? Ive tried everything. Help! See my post below for what Ive already done to try and fix it. Also now hooked up two psu's and both work fine. The secondary 1000W pushes one GPU, the main 1600W pushes two, the fourth GPU is on but not working (connected to the 1600W main). did you enable 4G Decoding and set pci express to gen 1 ? if you did and still doesn't work use hive os on a usb drive or something see if it brings other gpus up.
My mobo does not have the option to enable 4g decoding or forcing pci to gen 1. I don't have experience with Hive OS? Would that involve changing the OS to Hive or can it be done explicitly from the USB. Still fairly new to computer programming/troubleshooting. Hey everybody. I recently upgraded to a fourth GPU (1080 ti Hybrid) on my Asus Prime B350-Plus and Ryzen 7 1700, dedicated miner. I have not been able to get the fourth GPU to operate. When I have four gpus connected, the PCIe 2.0x16_2 shows this error: "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (code 43)". These are the things that I have done so far: - checked all connections to gpus, risers, and pci slots - plugged in the new gpu to all the different pci slots and different risers to ensure that it was working properly. - All gpus, risers, and pci slots work with up to a three gpu configuration. - updated the bios to 3401 version (current on ASUS website). - Connected gpus to all different power rails on the psu (1600w evga T2). - Updated driver for the new 1080ti (the update manager said they were the newest version, but I updated anyway) Any thoughts? There are not enough free PCI-E lines. The upper port uses lines from the processor. The lower x16 uses the lines from the chipset, which means x4 mode. And it is indicated that he divides them between x1 slots. Specifications: PCIeX16_2 slot shares bandwidth with PCIeX1_1 and PCIeX1_2. |

Try to boot from your RX580 (as an image output device) and start the sgminer again. At me such happens when all over again I extract ETH, and then I switch on ZEC. It is necessary to simply reboot the OS. |

So I picked up two of these recently for mining
I've got them both in the same rig on a sabertooth 990fx
Without any tweaks or bios mods, I'm seeing the first card get around 24mhs and the second getting only 19mhs.. using claymore 10.0 and I'm unsure why
Got the environment variables set up right, cards are clocked identically, static page file set at 16gb..
The only difference I can see is that MSI afterburner reports less frame buffer usage on the second.. approx 90% vs 70%
Any ideas ?
Most likely a low hashrate on the graphics card that produces the image. And that's why it shows a lower hashrate. Try to swap cards and check the result. |

anyone know the performance of a XFS Radeon RX 480 RS Triple X 8GB for mining Ethereum ?
Reviews about them are not the best. BUT: the chip(RX480) is the same everywhere. Everything will depend on memory. Come across Samsung. Issue 28MH/s. Recommend to take Nitro +. |

Ну что, ребята? Обновим ли мы этой весной хаи у альткойнов? Кто что думает? Лично я, как, думаю и многие, питаю большие надежды по стратису. У них отличная команда, поддержка сообщества и выполнение дорожной карты.
Да. Многие альты очень порадовали в конце года.  А stratis отличный вариант на долгосрок. Советую еще присмотреться к nem, deeponion, wings, waves и comsa ! Где и как купить deeponion? раздачу я пропустил, т.к. зареган тут после 25 июня список бирж где торгуется та или иная монета можно посмотреть здесь https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/deeponion/#markets я обычно пользуюсь Cryptopia тк там самые большие объемы торгов. а Kucoin кажется мне не очень удобным. Как там с верификацией? Можно ли сделать какой-нибудь базовый акк и торговать? Какие лимиты? PS Нихера себе на криптопии альтов торгуется, реально что ли больше 1000? ИЛИ КМК врет? Верификацию не требуют; двухфакторку включи и норм - бери и торгуй. По лимитам не скажу, но и не вижу ограничений в своей учетке. А альтов там действительно дохрена. |

I am mining with 1x1080ti and 2x1070's. I mine etherum using claymore miner for weeks with no problems. I switched to mining zcash using (EWBF)cuda miner and as soon as i start the bat file my pc crashes and restarts with a bios message stating there was a power surge. I have a 760 watt PSU and hero maximus 8 MOBO. While mining ETH with the 3 GPU's i use 580-600 watts of power and it never crashes and reboots my pc.. Any idea why its crashing "power surge" when I mine zcash with 3 gpu's?
I tested mining zcash with (EWBF)cuda miner with 1 gpu and that seemed to be stable. If i add the other 2 gpus it has a power surge and crashes.
I know the bios says power surge but why would 3gpus work fine when i mine ethereum?
For zcash i tried different miners and different versions
PCI E setting in bios is set to GEN1 (i tried gen 2 and gen 3 same result)
I set gpus to factory clock settings and same issue when mining zcash only.

ETH is demanding on the memory frequency - the higher the frequency, the more is the hashrate. ZEC is demanding on the frequency of the GPU - the higher the frequency the greater the hashed. But energy consumption also increases strongly. With ETH mining, power consumption is lower. Maybe your videocards start to use the boost mode and the PSU can not cope. |

How do one check if one has samsung memory? I got 4 cards. But i cant seem to clock them as much as i want to. They simply cannot handle it. Is there an easy way on the computer to check it? Do i need to download anything?
Use the GPU-Z for this purpose. It shows the memory manufacturer. Thanks. I have Samsung memory. Do you mean is 2100 a normal frequency? Yes I strongly believe my card has chip  Yes, to begin with, install 2100 and check the stability in HWINFO. Of course with included mining. And depending on the result, increase or decrease by 10MHz. |

I have Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 580, factory Overclocked.
I have couple of questions on GPU tweaks:
1) The stock Memory Clock is 2000. What is the safe max limit/range of Memory Clock setting in which there is no/minimal harm to the GPU?
2) The stock Core Clock is 1411. What is the safe min limit/range of Core Clock setting in which there is no/minimal harm to the GPU?
3) What is the safe min limit/range of Core Voltage setting in which there is no/minimal harm to the GPU?
4) Does BIOS modding inflict any physical damage (in the longer run) to the GPU?
5) Do I need to further Overclock it provided it is already factory overclocked.
6) On Claymore, my GPU temp is maintaining at 61C and fans are 53%. Are these safe numbers for longer run? Are my fans running bit fast?
Looking forward for your valuable input.

1. The working maximum is 2100-2150 (I have 2100). Memory errors will be higher. Everything depends on the success of the memory chips on this particular card. 2. It depends on what algorithm you are going to mine. The ETH and forks depend on the memory frequency, and the frequency of the GPU is not important. Therefore, it is reduced. 1146MHz for example. Equihash on the contrary depends on the core frequency. 3. For ETH it is reduced. 956 mV and below. Some even put 880mV. 4&5. Everything is possible. Just all settings - core and memory frequencies, memory timings, voltages - are set in the BIOS. This is the answer to question 5. 6. Normal and RTFM! Thank you. Its great insight for me to start. For how long you have been running on 2100? Is it a myth or reality that too high overclocking reduces the life of the card? Does Overclocking and Undervolting have some correlation?
