I notice your FinCen license only is good for Oregon...
Are all sales within the state?
Or do you conduct business outside/across state lines?

Hi Minerjones, you can feel free to call me on the phone if you like. We are in weekly contact with FinCen. 541-488-4312.

Bitcoin and this community have really changed over the years.

There have been too many sad stories in this space of people losing their funds to unscrupulous actors.  Many examples right here in the collectables section, so now when a rogue newcomer shows up out of nowhere looking to be the custodian of 10's or 100's of thousands of USD in value we are a bit weary.

This is pretty important actually.

You probably never will. I speculate that site is trying to fly under the radar to avoid being shut down. YMMV. People seem to be ordering and receiving coins OK.

Thanks for the feedback guys, it's under the terms of service on the checkout page. There is no flying under the radar. The site is owned by Blue Diamond Exhange LLC an Oregon Corporation you can check the registration with FinCen. It is possibly the only female-owned exchange in the nation. Thank you for this information. We will work on getting an "About Us" page up.

I have gone all the way to where I have to pay and have not seen this information.    Found it, yes you definitely need to make this information visible, it would go a long way in adding confidence.

I would not send btc to an unknown entity.  I was fine sending btc to Bobby and/or BTCC mint.   I would argue I am more trustworthy, and known, than RogueBitcoin.  YMMV.
1845  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will the bull run start? on: September 07, 2018, 05:36:24 PM
I give a low probability chance of a double bubble, like in 2013, but that would need to happen by this December.

I was there in 2013 doing some mining and I dont remember the term double bubble ?    Sure there was a rise in the spring and then it peaked end of year, so thats similar to 2017 isnt it where we fell back a bit end summer to autumn perhaps then really picked up into December.

2013 Bubble #1 was from 50 to 250, with subsequent crash down to 55ish.  April.  Build of base/support in the 100-120 area until 2013 Bubble #2 in November from 120 to 1100.

has anyone tried the US site for free shipping? .01 is a bit expensive and I heard they were going to give discounts to early buyers who paid 0.125 BTC on the 1/10th pieces.

No, and that site looks pretty scammy.

Shipping refund received. thanks Cheesy

I am curious about what is scammy "looking"  about our site?

Just had a very quick look.  I did not see an "about us" section detailing the background of the principals, explaining where you are incorporated, and how you handle the fiduciary responsibilities of acting as a money transmitter in the United States.

1848  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] 0.5 BTC & 3.7 ETH (Paypal or face to face in LA) on: September 06, 2018, 10:06:36 PM
0.7 btc for sale! Paypal only.
Pm me or hit me up on telegram @thenotorious12

What is your rate?  I have PayPal, want btc.  Given our vast trust differences you would send btc first.

1849  Economy / Collectibles / Re: bitcoin - physical coin £27 ebay auction on: September 06, 2018, 09:58:34 PM
bitcoin - physical coin – FREE POST - physical coin / wallet - Gold plated

I suggest much better photos.  With all that glare it is impossible to make out details.  Coin buyers care about details.

Best of luck with your auction.

When will the bull run start? Huh in 2018? i've lose a lot of money through bitcoin. because price went down. when will the bull run start and i regain my money?

My best guess is 6 to 12 months before the next halving. I expect the low of this bear market to be 2-4k.  I base these of previous bitcoin cycles.  I give a low probability chance of a double bubble, like in 2013, but that would need to happen by this December.
1851  Other / Meta / Re: Have we left "Bitcoin Discussion" board for spammers, forever?? on: September 06, 2018, 09:36:30 PM
P.S. My opinion is that it is necessary to introduce the KYC, with the provision of documents and selfi with a passport.
Once this is done, immediately 20% less will become accounts, trust me.
Not sure if you're really serious here. Do you really think it is necessary to introduce KYC here, in this forum, to reduce the amount of accounts spamming threads? Oh boy, oh boy, this, in my belief will never happen and will not solve much. Don't get me wrong. I feel you and I understand that you are trying come up with something to help the forum but this is just impossible.
I'll just add quote about KYC on Bitcointalk :
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3097811 :
I'll get right on that, just as soon as hell freezes over.

Introduce KYC, what a terrible idea.

That said, I do miss bitcoin discussion and the speculation sections.  Both are now pretty useless for information or meaningful discussion.

That cetainly looks like a case of merit trading to me.    They weren't even coy about it bumping such an old thread.

1857  Economy / Collectibles / Re: BITCOIN CASASCIUS 2013 - .5 BTC LOADED FULLY FUNDED on: September 06, 2018, 01:47:44 AM
If someone is interested & wants to give me a good offer, we can make a deal. At a certain point I should just crack this open I guess.

I don't get the whole grading thing with these, it does not look like PCGS or NGC does it right? In the coin collecting world if its not them its a waste $ & time.

I can offer you 3700 usd shipped to my US address.  I can pay via ACH/Wire or equivalent USD in bitcoin.  Given our vast Trust differences i would expect you to send first and I would send payment upon receipt.  If that works, great.  If not, no worries at all.

Edit to add: Offer valid only with bitcoin above 7000 usd/btc

Offer retracted. Good luck with your sale.

I am not impressed.  Good luck with your sale.
