Release 56 has finally made be break 100 mh/s on quark. Virtual beers for everyone! Aliman, Your 980ti is beating the Titan-X The titans in this picture are to close to eachother. They will heat up and trottle. Bether to use 70cm usb risers and spread the cards. The titans are not good for mining. 12GB of ram doesn't help, and the prise is skyhigh. Wrong about the heat; servers tend to be cooled differently. Right about everything else. Cooled differently by magic I presume?

How's the power consumption on 980ti , compared to 970 ?
Lets see, this does 268 - 280W at the max, running at 1500Mhz. My MSI GTX 970 4G consumed something like 220W, given the custom PCB and heftier power connectors.

80 GH/s on Quark on nicehash even at 0.23 BTC/GH, how's that even profitable?

I gotta say,the concept behind the trust key is quite tricky.
Hopefully we don't lose all of our staked coins if we go past 30 days to update them (like if I'm out of the country to visit my family).......

just few results for new compiled git from sp_ on my poor gtx750 1gb lyra 1500/1600 1130khs quark 1500/1575 6030khs Other algos without improvements comparing to my old records. win7 64bit, ccminer 32bit, cuda 6.5, driver 353.30
quark on nicehash gives 7-8% rejects with ccminer and 1-2% on sgminer.
nice hashes ... i dont get that with the 2GB cards ... but then - i dont overclock either ... ... #crysx Bro, if you don't OC, you ain't taking much advantage of your system!

This is a brilliant coin by someone who knows the crypto industry. One small suggestion. As pos is developed and released, all will agree the tech is superior and will allow long term growth. However, 1 thing has bothered me about this great coin. Its name. Niro is not marketable in the real world. To illustrate: suppose you see a piece of art on the wall in an art gallery 50 years ago. Someone tells u its a Picasso painting. u say: this painting sucks. Fast forward to present day, same scenario. Someone says you are looking at a Picasso. U say, Man thats ugly, but i want it! Why? The name adds so much value. We live in a world where branding and names are absolutely as important as what you are buying into. As you move into marketing efforts, the tech will stand out, but people will always feel in the back of their minds this: Niro is a stupid name that will be hard to adopt in the real world. This is my humble opinion, but feel it will become important as this coin grows over the next year. Cheers RT
I believe that there was quite a bit of discussion when it was being renamed couple of months back, looks like you missed the train on that on.

If you want a working miner for cuda7.0 this is the correct branch: https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminerI tried to compile my fork for the cuda 7.0 and started modding a bit. But the compiler wasn't good enough. Not worth the effort.. Around 10% drop in hashrate in all algos.. If you have time please run tvprovot's cuda 7.0 version of quark and compare the hashrate with my 6.5 release 54-git and post your findings. Getting 71 MH/s using that miner compared to yours with 93 MH/s.

Sounds good man, could you clarify on the stakers vs holders part. As long as we have it in our wallet and with the new core, we'd be staking?

This is why we need recyclers kids.

Speaking of quark, thought I'd mention that the fastest is still just release 51 for 970/980's. With 3 970's and 2 980's, I'm getting 92.6-93 mh/s compared to a max of 92.5 mh/s on the newer releases.

It would be great if we could use the Viz pool for GPU miners and cestballot pool the way it is for the cpu guys.

If anyone wants to dump 1-2 BTC worth of niro slightly below the market, lets do this!

Been a while since I've seen it cross 1K sats.

Take your time buddy, I know a lot of people are pushing it, but you should just ignore them. I believe this is where it gets crucial.

Just a random question, how many people have been holding UNITY since it was launched last year?
I have and will continue tot do so. Increasing my investment on a daily basis I only recently started buying. When unity/supernet came out I was betting bear markets in crypto to continue so stayed out. Are initial investors underwater in USD/BTC? Not sure what was ipo price? ICO started at 0.01, and went till 0.0115. I'm assuming the launch of the exchange should may be give better value to UNITY. Edit: Btw, haven't seen james posting since a bit.....

Cpu pool down?
Pool is up, we just see an hardware forced reboot, so now pool is fully ok Remember if you need help to up a new pool, we can help you, My server is now too small for all cpu Channel mining power ^^ We are nexus I understand man, but it's all good. I only have one rig at the moment, so can't hold that as the server as that's my main rig. I guess after the new implementations, it should be fine.
