Alot of persons, including myself expected Qatar to win the March yesterday simply because they are the host, and since as back as I can remember, South Africa is the only country that have lost in their opening match, many thought Qatar wouldnt want to join that category and would fight to win the game, but it's rather unfortunate that they ended up loosing 2:0 Ecuador. I expect a draw because Qatar is the host and doesn't have experience in football, and so more sure when kick off Qatar use a scheme 5-3-2 but my guess is wrong because Ecuador is much more solid on each line, their attack is more focus and there is no more obstacle on a center that make more freely to piece Qatar defense. the ceremony match has been completed, so I have to lock this thread, thanks for all post. |

It will be quite difficult for Arsenal to stay solid in the rest of the season while Manchester City are close to them. This is like the first season for Arsenal that they play this much dedicatedly for the league title after a long break. It has been a very long time since they last won this title as well. The supporters must be waiting for the title this time definitely.
As Manchester City have a much more qualified squad they might still seem one step ahead. It is in Arsenal's hands to change this by being consistent in the rest of the games as well. Especially the big games will be very important.

Last night they displayed good show but unfortunately Netherlands were too good to be beaten.
As I know, if only relying on 1 person, the team will not able to throughout the game because the opponent will take care of that person. In this case, even though Senegal as the African champion in 2021, they look depending on 1 person Sadio Mane, this is used by the Netherlands to dominate the match, without Mane Senegal is like the team who lost their way, their front line is blunt, and can't execute from the center. Usa team failed to get the three point in the first world cup game despite taking the lead as early as the 36th minutes, they had a good first half but then they backed down on the second one giving the opportunity for wales team to press them until they managed to get the penalty and secure the draw it seems USA players inexperience was a big factor in this result.
The USA player seems to forget that there is a great player in Wales so make them negligent in the last minutes. I agree with you. A big mistake by Chelsea management was to sack Thomas Tuchel. Chelsea won the Champions League title thanks to Thomas Tuchel. And it was totally incredible. No one could have imagined that Chelsea would win the Champions League title. Yet Thomas Tuchel has won it. Chelsea management should not sack such a coach. Chelsea have performed well in a few games since Potter took charge, but now Chelsea are once again a struggling team. I don't expect a better performance from Chelsea this season.

It's sad for Sadio Mane. Also I am not sure if Senegal can perform well without Sadio Mane. Sadio Mane is the most important player in the Senegal team.

 In the last 2 event world cup (2014 and 2018), the host (Russia and Brazil) was the winner in the opening ceremony match, but in the world cup 2010 South Africa as the host draw the match.
