Good luck to everyone gambling right now. I've been on and off without a block since ~December. After about 15BTC of rentals, my best share ever was ~22 billion.

you and me both.
Good luck all around.

Also I pointed one lonely s3 to the group address. GO S3 GO!

I still am amazed at how we are slowing down with so many negatives.   Here was last year in may:

May 24 2014    10,455,720,138    18.10%    74,844,960 GH/s
May 12 2014    8,853,416,309    10.66%    63,375,223 GH/s

A year ago I thought we would almost always see double digit changes.  But we seem hit pretty slow on growth.  Btc still is not extremely high I wonder how long till next gen.

Well Bitcoin was still pretty high at that point, and all the hardware that kept being introduced made mining nuts.

Businesses made some good profit while their hardware lasted...

Bitcoinwisdom says that we are 300 blocks into the cycle.

I would like to start off by picking -5.49 to -5.25%
with a pick at -5.27%

I wonder why I've never had problems looking at the pool stats with my phone, but now it says "this plug in is not supported"
Pool stats page has been changed slightly to autorefresh every 60 seconds and contains an object now instead of plain text. If you cannot access it, you can use the direct text output with this link:

http://solo.ckpool.org/pool/pool.status

I'm curious why people care about the pool stats, they don't affect individual performance/ability to solve a block.  Is it just curiosity factor?
A very good question.  to me this page is what counts.

my stats page is below

http://solo.ckpool.org/users/1CqbvmuJcLFDFzFewKmBVAaghXEtByzY9Y

I would say for uptime, and QoS. Making sure there are shares being shared, the amount of workers competing for a block.

Also how much money we throw away err hash at the pool in hopes of riches Cheesy
1846  Economy / Collectibles / Re: PaperSafe ..Secure Paper wallet with unique security anti tamper design on: May 05, 2015, 08:07:47 AM
I don't see the point.  If ppl started treating these like cash and accepting them as long as the key wasn't scratched out, the *original distributor would be able to sell the coins at any time.

* The private key was known when the address was created.  This places trust into a single entity.

A lot of Bitcoin users are already adopting bad practices, do we seriously need to keep creating more.

I would probably be interested if it is cheap enough. I personally would keep it as a collectors item. As it is different from all the coins produced.

Anyways who would ever use a physical bitcoin for a transaction?

We just pulled a nice share "bestshare": 1,018,415,785.48043}

we are doing about 96th at the moment.

Lets pop a fast block! Maybe before jonnyBravo lands...

I fronted his coin  as I did not feel like waiting on him to start.  So he owes me 1 coin.
As I trusted his promise of payment when he gets off the plane. Not much of a problem if we hit he gets paid.

So he could actually  hit the block without paying  Grin   Grin

Fun to see we have about 10 hours more on westhash than nicehash at this time.
With a warming up share at 645,321,862

LETS GO MINERS! *CLAP CLAP. CLAP CLAP CLAP*

1849  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Ezeminer's Clearing Sale on: May 05, 2015, 05:34:14 AM
Do the usb miners come with original cases?
Nf2 & 3 of the block erupters don't.

U2s & 3 erupters do.

Not trying to lowball you but I would buy the 3 block erupters and u2 with cases for $30.  I'm more a collector of these than a user.  Shipping would be to nj

I'll think about it.

ALSO UPDATE
Pictures have been added, some pictures include multiple items, thus posted twice.

ARGH Tongue Just pulled a 33G best share why does difficulty have to be so damn high!
Blame bitmain Wink

and bitfury and knc and spondoolies and Asic Miner and avalon .

 Grin

I am trying two 5th from westhash and two 5th from nicehash.

total of 20th for a day or so.

Good luck.

thanks  I have decided to do small orders pointing about .2 btc each  shot 1 or 2 times a week .

I can deal with a loss of .2 or .4 btc.

I can't deal with a big 3 to 7 coin pop like I did last week.

I think it's still better that we split the loss than taking it all by our selfs. I would do more but my list of people I trust is small.

I would be interested... If we all put in funds for a percentage cut.
1856  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: May 3rd to May 14th diff thread. not open for picks yet. on: May 04, 2015, 03:06:44 PM
Biggest thing we actually have passed 240 on btc.  Were at 241 with a little upward trend.
I'm hoping the trend continues.  My S3s are well beyond my initial expected lifespan for them at this point.  When I first got them I figured I'd be lucky to make it until December of last year before they became unprofitable.
Luckily there are not huge difficulty jumps anymore. And so far for the last 6 months there has been a total of 20% increase, which is awesome for us.

What do you think is the approx total Rental hash available ie via Nicehash, westhash, mmr, betarigs and mintsy?

I think I'm right in saying that the top 6 on MMR are also the top 6 on betarigs & maybe nicehash.
Westhash stays around 1.1PH total, Nicehash stays about 3-4PH and MMR stays roughly 5.7PH, so thats about 10PH or roughly 3-4% of the network.
1860  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: May 03, 2015, 03:58:30 PM
Is there some way to earn Bitcoins quickly?

Mining seems to be too far ahead of me, and faucets give out very little.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

If u r ready to take the risk, then u may probably try out investing in www.CrazyPonzi.com. It is a new game, with a very interesting set of rule, which makes sure that the operator will gain more by honestly running the game. Investment will grow 140% in 120 hour and after that It will expire, i.e. goes to next investors. Already 14+ BTC has been paid by the game. If u can play it calculative way, by controlling your greed, then u can make some coin in every 120 hour.
Its a ponzi scheme. And you must have a advance computer to mine. But in investment in crazyponzi.com is a good offer grow 140% in 120 hour is enough to save or a better income.

Ponzi's always fall though. Why? Because it is a ponzi, get in early or get screwed late.
How would you know when one to join? As in, how do you know you've joined early enough to be paid? As with most people, I don't want to lose my coins to something I know I have a great chance of losing my coins to.

My personal opinion is never do ponzi's, but it is normally day 1 or two. And NEVER do big investments into ponzi, that's when they are like "YES MY SCAM IS WORKING!"

That's just my two cents. Get in early, and get out fast. Another tactic is do one of your own investments, then use the bonus funds from that so you never lose your own money.
