1841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: September 30, 2016, 04:56:37 AM
i think simply you need to make your mind internet in some other topic if earning money in legit way instead of earning in ponzi scheme like gambling and other betting like things . so in this way your mind will remain away from gambling .
I think we need to focus on other stuff instead of thinking of our loses in gambling, if we always think of what we have lose in it we can really actually think about to play gambling again.
thats right it just cycle inside our mind and it will look for another strategy to be build and will let us to play again then it will results for another loss i guess so many things that already been provided and most of them is to make our self busy in any how.
Changing your mindset is hard task when you are too attach with gambling but it is doable, I am sure as a person who want to change his lifestyle because he realize that gambling does not do good to him he can achieve his goal if he fully submit himself for a total change.
Yeah we cannot change our lifestyle as easy as that. It is depend on a situation.
I think if he can travel for 1 week or 1 month that is the time that he can forget gambling and change his lifestyle when he comes back from where he come from.
That would be a good suggestion, if we have the money to be use in travelling, we should do that so we will not limit only our world in gambling, when you travel you will have a chance to meet and greet with people, with that you can have a social life and you will realize that there are more important thing in life than gambling.
1842  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where u use bitcoins? on: September 30, 2016, 04:53:56 AM
I don't usually use bitcoins for silly things like mobile recharge or buying groceries. I have salary for that.

I basically use my bitcoin to increase my savings amount so that I can buy something big in future. Bitcoin has the potential to go up to any price in future, probably 5-7 years down the line, but if I waste my bitcoin for silly things, I will have to regret later. SO I am just storing bitcoin.

We are on the same path. Im not using my bitcoins too just to recharge my mobile or buy goods from anything. My fiat salary takes care of that.

In that way, bitcoins are just meant for investment or if ever  I need an urgent money, bitcoin will be my backup financial plan.
Having that kind of mindset will give you success in the future, actually if you are just using your bitcoins for load that would mean that you are not making great income with your stay, my advise is that we need to seek for the opportunities here while we are here so in the future we can accumulate a good number of bitcoins in our wallet.
1843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: September 30, 2016, 04:41:51 AM
Gambling itself is not very wrong but I must say that its also not very smart these days, I think that you should not do it too much right now.
Gambling is very addicting so if you are doing it many times you will get addicted and that is wrong indeed.
Because of smart people who uses very usefull script for gambling sites and is nog very wrong if people trying to play with it with fun and we must say that we enjoying everymoment we in gambling site where we lose or win at least we tried

If you are going to enjoy every single cent that you are gambling and it makes you happy then that is not a wrong way because you are enjoying it. And just think about that when you lose in gambling that is your payment for having fun as you gamble. Only the abusers or addicted ones are making gambling very wrong because they are using it in wrong way.
Just do not think that you can outsmart the gambling sites, they are created to outsmart us and we should accept that to know our side. Just play gambling for fun and nothing bad will happen to us, accept the fact that we need to spend our money in gambling to enjoy.

better to enjoy the gambling as an activity that really giving us some fun and entertaining rather than we play gambling with serious because this can make us getting big loss.
thats true, gambling would make you lose all the money to be honest, thats why i never do it for money
We can not blame gambling casino because its just a business its up for people how they are manage their money if they are just gamble for fun they should accept what their lose. and just regret after you and dont comeback if you are not satisfied in gambling.
For some religious its wrong because gambling is in the bible..
Exactly, when you are in a casino you should accept the reality already that you have a greater chance to lose your money because that's how the nature of gambling, the only thing you need to do is just to enjoy the moment so you can appreciate gambling rather than complaining of your loses.
The problem for those people they are looking for instant profit that he didnt know that they can make a good profit gambling is for fun not for source of making money for free.. but people thinking that they can easily make money in gambling..
Well, they have to suffer the consequences if they will force on making money in gambling, that kind of activity are only for those gamblers who are professional because they can make a good analysis to win as they are full time in gambling but for typical gambler like us there is not chance to win in the long run.
1844  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: September 30, 2016, 04:36:17 AM
If this becomes stable, it would be like fiat where the ups and downs are only in cents.
Unless a huge downfall or something can affect the price.

Then investing in bitcoin won't be that attractive since there is not much movement in price... Some people hoard bitcoin because it keeps on moving and they could take advantage of those ups and downs to earn in trading... But for sure if the price is stable many of those who use fiat in the internet or using their card might start shifting to bitcoin..  Smiley

No mate. It is still attractive. Look how active fiat trades today, PHP to USD, USD to EURO, YEN to YUAN etc.

Trades are really profitable even those have stable price. Even for a cents movement, the impact is really noticeable when you do fiat trades.
The thing is you cannot master trading if you will have to trader different asset, I think it is advisable to focus only on limited numbers of assets that you are going to trade in order for you to give your time and effort to study it, and the result would be positive with enough knowledge.
1845  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: September 30, 2016, 04:33:37 AM
If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house?

Ive been thinking if it went into very high figures i could cash out 80-90% of bitcoin and buy a house outright with no mortgage.  Is that even a good idea though? - basically 80% of networth in a house hmmm.  On the other hand i dont want to have a mortgage and im fed up with renting due to landlords, letting agents and lack of control.
i don't think there is any connection between this to increase price at its highest peak . but here your idea is not bad to get a house . owm control of what you want to do with house . if you have some btc then after increase price it would be better to buy a home .
A goal is really important, if your goal is only to buy a house then after you get it you will not invest anymore then I think it is better to start investing now since the price is still cheap, you can do invest even little by little because there is not minimum investment here in bitcoin, so the moment you have accumulated a large number of bitcoins and the price will also increase, for sure you can sell that for a big profit.
1846  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: September 30, 2016, 04:27:22 AM
No it will never happen. As you've mentioned about stores accepting bitcoins that is fine,we can even expect big players like Amazon or Ebay to star accepting bitcoins as an alternate paying method but they won't completely replace the fiat. The government will never allow that for obvious reasons.
You are right,  bitcoin will never replace fiat money in any country in this world,  it will never happen.  The best thing for bitcoin is to be an alternative payment for internet trading for people in around the world.

Yes and thats the  bitcoin limitation which it could be used  only on online transaction it may used for some countries  by currency itself but it wont spread or  adopt all over the world and also  bitcoin is   dependent  on the value of  fiat,  If he could surpass it maybe   it would  control but  it wont happen anytime soon.
People will only use when bitcoin will be legalize and the government will help on spreading on how to use bitcoin for the benefits of the majority, but what I am seeing is that there are some rich politician who protects the interest of the rich individuals, so if there will be a conflict of interest or they will see that bitcoin will be a treat they will not support it.
1847  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: September 30, 2016, 03:29:33 AM
well, first of all i want to say congrats for OP, you up ahead 7 btc from your total initial balance. i think you should hold your btc for now because btc price still rising until now  (but dunno if OP already sold all his btc). if you ask me how to do with your money now, im just can give you suggest ,"do whatever you want, because its your money" Grin

I think you have read it wrong after all this time he is down 7 btc but he says it's okay cause he would pay that price anyday for the experience he gained.
I wouldn't quit trading though cause that makes that experience a little less useful just keep practicing with tiny amounts!

Well thats the big problem when a person dont read or know what is the topic about, anyway, i had left trading in the past as well as it turned to be a nightmare, i had lost something near 0,50btc doing some trades, nowadays i do invest small ammount into some altcoins and wait.

There are really people who  dont  read the  OP queries and  directly comment or post without  any ideas about the topic which is already considered as  off- topic. As other said  OP didnt gain +7 btc but -7btc loss . If  im in his  situation i would  also quit since 2 years   is  long  enough time  but still you are  not profitable on your trading style.

I sometimes hard to understand the  OP ,but i read some previous replies of that topic then connect it to their quotations .
I think he just misunderstood what he reads cause he know that 7btc in the OP , well we are all people that make mistakes so we should acknowledge it and correct it .

Quiting is not the best thing to do for me , i should change my ways on trading and take risk again that amount of money.
Maybe you can do it but we have to accept the fact that not all people have the capacity to successfully trade, the OP just did give up because for trading a long time he does not make any improvement and even me I would quit if my record is like that.
1848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: September 30, 2016, 03:24:38 AM
There are a lot of people that kind of dislike bitcoin, but hate. No I don't think so. Don't be fooled with the trolls here. They don't hate bitcoin, but want the price to go down so they can earn with their trading. So don't believe everything what you read.

A good example is YoBit (in my signature right now), where people try to fool people to buy their coins.
It is a strategy of pumping and dumping. You would not gain anything there but only the coin creator.
So that is why you must choose an altcoin wisely.

I agree with you here, even  though  im participating with their campaign but i do notice those ways which many altcoin have been released there even a skip  a day or two then a new coin launches where bots  do  usually made  the  pumps for once then suddenly dumps forever which is  actually a bad thing for us because  we would sulrey loss money on this way.
Well, what more can you expect in altcoins, it is just a pump and dump game, some are thinking that it is easy to make money in altcoin trading because of the big fluctuation but in reality, you are just like gambling when you are trading altcoins.
1849  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: September 30, 2016, 03:06:48 AM
As long as you keep track of your earnings and your expenditure, you should not have much difficulty in saving. Try to keep a certain ratio between the two, like 40% of earnings go to saving and rest 60% to expenses. Emergencies may arise then you may need to spend more. But every month try to maintain it and you should do fine.

40% of your earnings is too  high of a target. Normal people receiving minimum salary will have a hard time keeping up and will frustrate them. Soon they will stop saving because of that. It is better to save small percentage but can be consistently done without straining too much your budget.

Yup, 40$ was too high, not all of us is high earners where we could keep almost half of out salary, mostly we just receive enough salary so keeping 40% of it might just compromise your living or might result to problem... I think computing about how much you will save should be after buying all your basic needs, the leftover money should be the target of our savings, that's the money where we could mess around whether we are going to save it all or spending it to something else...  Smiley
The most conservative approach IMO is just to save at least 10% of your earnings so you can still live a normal life, we are living in this world to enjoy and do our responsibility in the society and that is to balance of way of living as well. If we save at least 40% of our earnings we are not living a balance life.
1850  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: September 30, 2016, 03:03:27 AM
I  think the best investment is to buy some legit altcoin or more bitcoins and i am sure that the price of bitcoin will increase in the future.. because we are growing day by day..
If you know joining in ico of the reputable companies is the very good way for the investing your money, but always need more attention for that because that is so risky in this day. altcoin will aways become a good place for us.
Of course, that is our main concern when we are joining an ICO because there are a lot of ICO here that promises a good potential on their project so as an investor it is our responsibility to check and study of a certain ICO to make our investment profitable.
1851  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: September 29, 2016, 01:12:20 PM
2017 can be the year of the bitcoin, the future of the bitcoin is good and maybe its gonna grow so much that it will be the year of the bitcoin.
Lets hope on it, its most likely gonna happen people.
We cannot ensure that, although this year has been a great year for us because we have seen substantial growth on the value of bitcoins but the next year it will not guarantee that bitcoin will be successful as this year or can surpass this year's success.
1852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: September 29, 2016, 01:03:05 PM
I believe that people are entitled to their opinion as well as their feelings so they are at liberty to hate Bitcoin but the issue is not about Bitcoin its about the vices surrounding Bitcoin even me personally, one thing I hate about Bitcoin is irreversibility of transactions and this has made a lot of people being scammed of their hard end resources in which I personally have my own share of it... Every other thing I am comfortable with up to this moment...
Well, you might hate that but other people love it, that would only that all transactions online with bitcoin are already final. So with that being said that makes it more secured from from the transacting parties that they have finalize the deal and finishes the transaction in the fastest way.
1853  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: September 29, 2016, 01:00:46 PM
We cannot say if it will be still popular than but I think it will be less more popular because the profit will also be less more than.
I think that its also the power of the up and downs that made the bitcoin so popular.

the form of the popularity would have been different but bitcoin would have been still popular.

right now it is mainly popular because of the price and the fact that it is a good investment (on top of all other good things like being a currency) but if the price was stable it could have been used as a real currency and become popular that way.
Maybe, you have a point but I think it will not be use as an independent currency even this time become so popular, the government are very strict with the KYC policy to avoid money laundering while bitcoin is anonymous so government is against it.
1854  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: September 29, 2016, 12:58:51 PM
To get rich is not easy and need a hard work to do it. Get rich is not instant and it need proces, the only way to get rich without proces is gambling and it's very risky. Focus on your job and get promote on your job.
Well you can put "marrying a rich person" and "hitting lottery jackpot" on the list of only way to get rich instantly Cheesy Hard work cant guarantee you to become rich in future. Nowadays, investment is the common way for some person to get higher income instead of just working in some company.
I think marrying a rich person is more probable that hitting a lottery, really hard to hit a lottery due to less chances of winning but you can marry an old person but if you cannot take it you will be living unhappy for the rest of your life even with a lot of money. What is the use of money at all when you are not happy.
1855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: September 29, 2016, 12:55:03 PM
Make your day become busy and use your free time for reading and do something else that killing your time like playing games also good. So, you will forget about gambling.

Reading and playing games is good also to divert your attention from gambling to doing something else. Actually, anything that worth doing that you love like biking, hiking, and the like, as long as it is healthy and productive, those things are the best ways to stay away from gambling and going to a more productive and positive life.
Anything will actually do as long as that is your interest and it will not bring harm to you, in addition there should be no relation to gambling or even a little connection, with that you can change your life for the better and maybe quit gambling for good.
1856  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: September 29, 2016, 12:52:56 PM
Long term investing is good but investing with such a low amount is maybe a bit stupid to do if you are going for a long term you can better do it with a large amount.
The price is also high right now maybe waiting will be better.
Well, that depends on your status in life dude, maybe for you that amount is very low but for people who have a very simple life and who just want to grow their money a bit because of bitcoin, it that makes them happy and they are satisfied with the investment then they should go for it.
1857  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to manage money? on: September 29, 2016, 12:49:35 PM
Minimize your spending and maximize your savings, that'st the only way to manage your money and you do not need to make other method as that is just very simple.

Simple? It just sounds easy but you can't applied to that to every person here since we all have different earnings and status of living in our life.

Learn all those things first around the money status of a person or family to be able to know how uch they will save because only themselves will know the appropriate answer.
LOL that's right, advising is easy but doing is kind of hard thing, every person have various and different life and not everyone can do that thing easily,if a person is already doing minimize the spending but still can't saving then it's will become a problem for that logic that he's saying simple

Agree ! Implementing it is the biggest problem you encounter. It is easy to say that you do it but if you are in actual you cant seem that you can do it or you are lazy to do it. But if you are really eager to do that thing then you could do that. Just thing they can do that thing so why not i cant do that thing?
That's really the reality mate, sometimes we are easily tempted to buy things that we see because we though that we need those things and just when we realize that it is not really our needs when we are in desperate need of money.
1858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling get you into Bitcoin or did Bitcoin get you into gambling? on: September 29, 2016, 12:45:55 PM
Bitcoin did get me into gambling but I'm not often gambling because of the fact that its not worth doing it all the time, its just to enjoy myself so now and than.
Its not something that I want to do for the profit or something.
Good for you dude, at least you are on the safe side, can't risk your money when you are working hard but still we cannot benefit in the end. Most of us here are not giving more importance on their time spend in working and it is easy for them to gamble their hard earned money and that is not really good.
1859  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW MUCH YOU EARN/LOSE FROM TRADING on: September 29, 2016, 09:18:05 AM
I earn only a little bit from trading in total maybe 3 coins now but it's been a while. I don't trade super often and i only traded with small amounts.
I treat trading like gambling but with a higher chance to win than the house if you know what you are doing.
Well, maybe trading is not really your game, you need to look for other ways to earn that would maximize your income because you have been trading for long but still you do not see a good result.

Me, also I can admit that I am not good in trading so I would just focus in investing bitcoin.
1860  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: September 29, 2016, 09:11:48 AM
Trading is not that unpredictable if you are good at it. You need to analyze and study the market and find and predict the next moves.
If you are one step ahead on the prices then you'll have a big advantage look for returning patterns aswell very important.
But in general it is an unpredictable job, trading is good if you were able to identify the method on how to succeed but if not you are just playing a big guessing game and you will call that gambling and you will still subject to lose in the long run.
