1841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season Champion: Milwaukee Bucks on: August 01, 2021, 06:01:44 AM
Actually, I am more concerned about the health of Davis than of Lebron James, Davis is known to be a fragile big man that can be easily injured, let's look back on his past team, injury is the main reason why the team struggle and that shoulder injury of his is a big one. Lebron is also more careful now, he doesn't drive a lot in the paint like he usually does before, so they need Westbrook to do that and to lessen the burden of Davis.
I forgot that. Thank you.
AD had been on a mess ever since that shoulder injury and it's been going on for 6-7 years I guess.
I think it was May 2021 when it went back with a sprained shoulder.
It's like the Kyrie shoulder injury that messed up his attendance for a lot of years (Celtics, Nets).
Just how I am excited to see how Harden will fit with KD and Kyrie, this WB trade also thrills me to analyze how they are going to play with each other.
1842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season Champion: Milwaukee Bucks on: July 31, 2021, 03:11:29 PM
Westbrook is not 100% effective playing other positions, he has a bad field goal percentage, so he cannot be a spot-up shooter, he will have to carry the ball, drive and kick, that's his style. Maybe Lebron has to adjust if he wants Westbrook to be fully contributing to the team, maybe Lebron will play like how he played during his Cleveland Cavaliers seasons.
We are still speculating but I have high hopes that their newly added star will bring the spark back to the Lakers team.
They were damaged by injuries and Lebron is not getting younger. He will be prone to injuries if the same NBA theme will happen just like this past season.
Remember, he is the one who is talking about more players being injured due to fatigue.
I think it's just him and his health that he is worried about that's why Shaq answered him back with the "200 million dollars" card.  Grin
So, that's the reason I can think of for signing Rus, it's not just strengthening the team but also a backup plan for worse case scenarios.
1843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the pandemic is still going on.. on: July 31, 2021, 11:35:27 AM
None. I even forgot about the existence of airdrops.  Grin
Before, I was really active in joining different telegram groups and availing their airdrop by means of just sharing whatever they want to be shared.
But not anymore. I found it just wasting my time and effort for nothing. Years of doing it and I haven't got any good ones and so I stopped and just focus on different things that will really make profits rather than a few extra bucks from freebies that have no assurance.
1844  Economy / Speculation / Re: What have changed in BTC price on: July 31, 2021, 08:40:32 AM
No, 2021 is the year of pandemic.
It helped a lot for people started looking for ways or options to where they should their money.
Instead of it rotting in banks where they are the ones making more money instead of us we finally made the jump to give other things a try. Cryptocurrencies.
It's not adoption because that means there is usage. They just bought it as a store of value and that's the same thing that is happening years ago.
It just went to the wider field where average people even without the proper knowledge are buying already unlike before where most investors would doubt it and try to learn it first before the purchase.
1845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: July 31, 2021, 07:05:43 AM
Lebron has got some influence on this trade and this is some sort of his last dance before retiring for good. He can't win championships anymore if he relies on the picks. With WB on board, I think he will take over the handling chores most of the time.

Egos and prides are set aside for that seat of the Finals next season, they are pros so they are very good with that.
And I think he knows he needs more speed from his teammates so they could still make some transition plays like how he was used to doing.
Despite being 32 of WB he can still do a full drive using his agility and he can still play 30-40 minutes.
This may be the time for a higher chance to get a ring.
I see expectations are building in Twitter. Lebron fans and Lakers fans are ecstatic about the combination.
Let's see if they can live up to those expectations.
1846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will physical casinos accept crypto someday? on: July 31, 2021, 04:12:38 AM
I believe the first reason that you said is what they fear. A government crackdown.
We can't deny that if one physical casino starts it, a virus will be spread. Others will try to do the same that could lead to mass adoption.
They won't even try to scratch the surface that could lead to attacks from the government and would give them a difficult time from taxes to any reasons, even the unjust ones.
1847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Combination of gambling and trading on: July 30, 2021, 08:24:46 AM
In trading you can use buy or sell orders or stop loss, in these ways at least you can leave it and check it at any time and it doesn't have to be monitored continuously. In contrast to gambling, which at least has to be done manually, of course it will take more time. But yes, it all depends on what gamble you are playing, because if it is a sports bet then you can leave it after making the bet and go back to your trading.
Bot in trading and just need a little maintenance while enjoying the gambling industry.
That's what was supposed to happen but I guess TS mixed it up and the product was stress.

Do not make Trading like a day job. It's not really that complicated with the applications made easier by an exchange.
It's reading the market that you should put more work and it's impossible to get an accurate reading.
While gambling should be your escape from all the work you finished.
1848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long Term Investment Suggestion on: July 30, 2021, 04:58:37 AM
I like it better to put a higher percentage of capital with Bitcoin and Ethereum.
These altcoin goes higher when those two main coins pump up.
Also, there is like a grace period when a dump happens. Alts tend to drop instantly while BTC and ETH do it slower.
You can have some time to save your investment for the short run but if you do prefer long terms I'd still proceed with the better choice with low risk which I had already named.
1849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season Champion: Milwaukee Bucks on: July 30, 2021, 03:01:20 AM
I don't like the way the Lakers are doing things now. I get it, they are building a team around Lebron but they just keep on giving short contracts for players. It takes out the chemistry that is happening with them.

Yeah, let's say 1 time it was successful but Lebron is not getting any younger, they need a new face for the Lakers and if it's AD then build for AD and just let James be the veteran for the team.
The trade was done.

Westbrook is now a Laker.
1850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tokyo 2020 Men's Olympics Basketball Tournament on: July 29, 2021, 04:00:28 PM
This thread just caught a virus from Luka's magical smile. Ain't there anything else?
How about Luis Scola with his silvered-haired grandpa look making the 4th rank of all-time total leading scorer in the Olympics Men's Basketball with 548 points
Above him at 3rd place is Pau Gasol (Spain active) with 623 points. 2nd is Andrew Gaze (Australia) 789 and Oscar Schmidt (Brazil) at the top 1093 points.

1851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how can i find alt coins before they explod on: July 29, 2021, 01:30:31 PM
If I know that then, f*** me you would not see my posts here anymore.  Grin You are asking for the impossible.
We are all here expecting to have that kind of skill but we just can't. No one can really see the future.
We can speculate, share our opinion, and shill our bought coins or tokens but at the end of the day, everything is at risk.
You can't even sleep right thinking about the amount you invested.
1852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season Champion: Milwaukee Bucks on: July 29, 2021, 05:16:40 AM
Sounds today like Ben Simmons is trying to end up in Miami with the Heat. The Sixers are trying to get him to Washington for Beal or to banish him to Toronto for punishment. It will be interesting to see what happens. A couple years ago people were saying Ben Simmons was the next LeBron James and now they don’t even want him in Philly. Life comes at you fast…
Banish is such a harsh word.  Grin
Is there really no future for Ben Simmons for him to be just thrown away?
He looks good attacking the basket, it's just the shooting that becomes the eyesore.
Embiid can shoot, he is big with humongous hands.
What if this will be the biggest regret the 76ers will make if ever they let him go?
It's difficult to look for a guy who can handle the ball as he does and at the same time with height. But he really needs to punish those who don't guard him at 3 point lane.
1853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon Bitcoin Poll on: July 28, 2021, 04:14:19 PM
No. Large companies like that will have problems with the government and they don't like that idea.
Invest, yes. Used as a medium for sales, no. Not yet.
As I looked at the recent news, they were even reported as accepting Bitcoin as means of payment but they denied it solidly.
Perhaps, it will just give them more trouble than using the traditional way.
1854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything like excess gambling on: July 28, 2021, 03:02:29 PM
Based on my gambling experience so far, I can gamble for hours when I have more money. It's not really how bad my addiction is, but somehow I can't just stop when I have more money despite having to admit defeat in the end. This habits of gambling doesn't seem right, but I'm sure I'm never alone. There are many other gamblers who have worse gambling habits and it really depend on how much money they have.
The good part is you still know what you are doing, unlike OP which is having trouble defining what is happening to him.
I don't really gamble that much. I just input my bets for the day and let it be.
Check it back the next day even though I know what I already won or lost.
Gambling is supposed to bring fun to the table and not give you more problems in the long run.
That's what I just do and I am glad until now I neither have a problem about it nor my wife.  Grin
1855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IT IS NOT BITCOIN vs ALT-COINS BUT CRYPTO vs CENTRAL AUTHORITY on: July 28, 2021, 11:49:48 AM
One altcoin that I don't play with. Ethereum.
The idea of being at the top of all altcoins will always be there. But they are near finish switching to POS and many investors are looking forward to creating money using that version that's why its value is still going high.
I have experienced a lot of POS before but this one will be big and it could also flood the number of purchasers looking for a passive income. IMO, if there will be a success in that algorithm, I always wish it will be Ethereum.
1856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 28, 2021, 02:38:27 AM
Kemba Walker is out of the Boston Celtics line-up, what surprises me is them getting Al again, they could get someone that can really play 'true' center position, for me Al is not. Not sure why Celtics just keep trading their guard position though.
They might focus on Brown and Tatum this time instead of putting more guards in their lineup.
This trade is one of the big ones early before the Draft pick. Most of the time they do it after.
The other was Valanciunas being sent to Pelicans for Steven Adams, Bledsoe, and two future first-round picks.
https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/31891102/memphis-grizzlies-trade-jonas-valanciunas-new-orleans-pelicans-steven-adams-eric-bledsoe-sources-say
It's going to be a roller-coaster ride including the draft pick with so many good young players to choose from.
1857  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Crashes in History on: July 28, 2021, 01:08:01 AM
Based on your post, the next one would be $300000? How much is that going to be the all-time-high to reach that kind of low? Lol. Anyway, it's nice to think about it like that. Imagine reaching $1M per BTC in the next three years, and we all be rich AF. I hope we all get to that point in some way.
Amen to that.  Wink
Let's go back in this thread 3 years later with our Lambo.  Grin If these different variants of viruses will not kill us yet and see Bitcoin on that track. OP presented historical facts and it's a good way to stay optimistic.
We see FUD every day and I think it won't stop until 2024 so I  guess having a little positive vibe will be a great help to keep others holding their bitcoins.
1858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tokyo 2020 Men's Olympics Basketball Tournament on: July 27, 2021, 02:55:59 PM
Luka Doncic is the biggest advantage and disadvantage of the Slovenian team.
Sometimes it seems to me that Slovenia is ''one man show'' when I watch their matches which is not very good.
Slovenia depends too much on Doncic and whoever stops him stops Slovenia.
Yes, Slovenia has a chance for a medal but they are not the main favorites of the tournament.
Apart from the USA, I prefer France and Spain as more experienced and better balanced teams.
That's a good thing, imo. Doncic can lead and he brought the Mavs to the playoffs because of that rare skill.
Dragic is also the leader type so I think they are not just relying on everything to Luka although they let him run the play most of the time, that's different.

France is strong too. United States will need to bring their best game when they meet at the quarter-finals or it will be France and Slovenia that will most likely battle at the end.
1859  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need help with trading on: July 27, 2021, 09:24:30 AM
Why the sudden switch? You are already making some profits on the first, you should've continued it and make the most out of it first.
When you do, that's when you try to switch with a capital higher than your first entry.
I bet you tried the high-risk, high-profit motto which is not how it really works.
All you could do now is try to recover it without forcing your way. Go back to where you started make some profits there and try to achieve ROI or better profits again.
1860  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: July 27, 2021, 06:33:05 AM
Whatever they ask about the price fluctuation, you should not have an accurate answer for it.
Be on the safe side to avoid being blamed later on.
Tell them your history maybe. If you are still holding your bitcoin up until now then it should be enough reason to give them a positive reaction about it.
We don't know who manipulates it, we don't know if the market really reacts whenever they sell, we don't know how much amount they are holding to make the market move or not. No one knows.
You can recommend it but always tell them it's not your fault to whatever will happen in the future. They should still be responsible for what they are entering.
