Is anyone else having problems with receiving his WOF spins from the premium membership? I was on holiday for 2 days so didn't login but can't find back my WOF spins. Maybe they will still popup later on but just wondering if there are some issues with it?

I don't think there's any problem with receiving the WoF spins from the premium membership.
I am getting it as usual. In fact I am also getting the free WoF spin in the email.
You can also track your WoF spins by going to premium tab and click on transaction history.
It will show you the credited WoF spins.

The FUN token should not be going down because bitcoin is going up in price, there are many things that are difficult to understand in the token and bitcoin, but it should go up, right? the free rolls are quite good because as the price of bitcoin goes up or down they decrease or increase the reward in satoshis, that is what it should be, without the free rolls we bet more the WoF should increase No?

There is a friend who wants to enter freebitcoin, but she has doubts because she says that she is doing poorly in Dice games, I told her that she could use freebitcoin as a wallet but that she should activate the 2fa option to have more security.

I dont think there is any strong relation between bitcoin and FUN price. Ideally, its about how you measure FUN value? Whether its in dollars or BTC, because that can impact it mathematically. Like if FUN is valued 0.0075 and bitcoin is fluctuating all the time then satoshi per FUN would change constantly.

Entering freebitcoin is not that hard and if you are old player then you know very well you cant stay away from the roll button for very long. Using it as wallet is risk, you already have lot of options out there to have private keys and more protection. Kee freebitcoin with what it has to offer.

I don't think there's any correlation for any of the coins in BTC pair. In fact I think that when coins are in BTC pair then it shows their actual growth.
That price is mostly dependent on project fundamentals and how good the coin is performing and providing value in the crypto community.
So if FUN token price is increasing in BTC pair then it is actually making progress from project fundamentals perspective.
1843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Choices: Gamble or Help the poor ? on: September 18, 2022, 12:44:54 PM
In order to understand the psychology of gamblers, i have decided to come up few questions for discussions, and here is the first one.

Suppose that you are a responsible gambler who have allocated a certain portion of money to gamble each month. Now you came across a poor person/family who is in urgent need of money. Will you quit the gambling for that month and give the allocated money to the poor family or will you prefer to gamble as you can't live without gambling ?

Why not both ?

If I am having some extra money with me then I would go for both i.e., I will help that person as well as gamble with the already allocated money for gambling.
If I don't have extra money with me then I will consider helping that person because we eventually lose money in gambling so I will consider that I have gambled and lost that money.
Also, when that person pays back the money I would have double amount to gamble which would be more fun in it's own way right.
1844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why going for 1.02 odds and below on: September 18, 2022, 12:36:23 PM
It is not worth indeed. You can make a lot more than 1% just from trading shitcoins. And somehow if you happen to make the wrong trade you can get out without losing your collateral if you used a stop loss. When you gamble on a 1.01 game and lose, you will lose everything you wagered there. It dont make the slightest sense to bet on those games. You are completely right there.

That is actually a really good idea. Cryptocurrencies have a good volatility and getting 3%-5% in a day is not that difficult.
So when we are gambling we must make sure that the bet returns are at least more than 1.1x to make a sensible bet.
Otherwise it's better off to put the capital and trading itself to earn those returns with more security.
1845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you being secretive about your gambling activity? on: September 18, 2022, 12:29:00 PM
Are you hiding your gambling activity from your loved ones, family or so?
Or are you being 100% open about gambling?

 Huh

To be honest, my gambling habits are known to my family especially because they know that I don't gamble with large amounts.
I gamble once in a while with small bets and sometimes my brother sit besides me when I am gambling.
So it's kinda cool at my place but I know that there are many people who hide it from their family and loved ones because they judge them.
There might be many reasons why they hide it from them and it's just that hide it or not it's their choice until it's not damaging them physically or mentally.
1846  Local / India / Re: Cybercell Hold Bank Account for Certain Amount Solution? on: September 18, 2022, 06:59:18 AM

I forgot my pass of idlipuri account.

I have checked all transactions few traders done third party payments like on child name and company name.
If someone makes a payment with different name(whether child or relative) ask for their ID. Try not to accept payments from accounts with company name.

same thing happened to me. you have to call the particular cyber cell and speak to the investigating officer handling your case in order to remove the freeze

Can you PM me how to overcome this.

Have you visited your Bank's branch?
They should have all the information regarding who or which jurisdiction requested the hold on your account. Talk to branch manager if clerks are of no help.

Act desperate & clueless when you are at the brank. You have to be stubborn to get things done in SBI branches.
Make the branch manager help you with the details and ask him the procedure to get the hold removed. Do as he(the manager) directs you. Try to get as much information as you can from him.

That's exactly what OP should do. If the amount in our bank is frozen then it is the bank's responsibility to let us know why it is so.
They should also provide a solution on how to overcome the issue and provide all the necessary relevant details.
OP should visit the branch and talk to the manager directly since he would be the right person to talk about such issues.
Also, OP should have all the details about the transaction and valid proofs on his end to make sure he didn't do anything illegal.
1847  Local / India / Re: Does cryptocurrency have a future on: September 18, 2022, 06:54:48 AM
The idea of selling a physical property to buy cryptocurrency might be tempting but there are things that should be considered before doing this.
Physical property is a good diversification of portfolio and buying a good physical property with good appreciation value is hard.
If you have such a property then it's better to hold it for long term since it provides a good diversification since it is stable and secure asset.
Also, crypto is volatile and so it is better to keep investing in it at regular intervals to get a good average price.
People get in a panic when they invest a big amount and start seeing it depreciate as the market dumps.
1848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why going for 1.02 odds and below on: September 17, 2022, 03:39:46 PM
On sportbooks, I have noticed some odds lower than 1.1. I definitely know that if people are not going for such low odds, bookmakers would stop adding such low odds. Even 1.08 is still better (understand me correctly, I am not saying it is better), I have noticed odds like 1.02 and 1.01. On in-play (live matches), I have even noticed 1.001 up to 1.005 to be included. Why are people going for these kinds of low odds?

Assuming I have $10 to bet with this week, going for 1.02 odd, the profit is $0.2. That means I have to bet 50 times of the same 1.02 odds to get $10 in return. But my $10 betting fund which I could lose in just a single bet. Is it worth it?

I am thinking it does not worth it at all. Why are some people going for non valued bet of such low odds? It would only encourage them to increase the amount of money they stake on a bet and yet losing it at once is possible. Not a good strategy at all.

What is your opinion?

When we are talking about such low odds then it also signifies that the outcome of that bet is having the edge towards that bet.
In case the odds on one side 1.02x and on the other side it's more than 3x then most probably the chances are that the winning bet would be 1.02x.
I know that the 3x bet could also win the bet and I have seen it happening as well but those cases are rare.
1849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Rise of Mobile Gambling Is Leaving People Ruined and Unable to Quit on: September 17, 2022, 03:33:13 PM
There are two things here. One is the mobile gaming and second is the mobile gambling. Both are interrelated and the fact that it has become more than easier to play games on your mobile devices these days have made youngsters addict to their mobile phones.
It has been observed that many youngsters are addicted to mobile gaming and stick to their phones throughout the day.
Adding to that, gambling has taken it's advantage and has made mobile gambling very effective way for casino owners to earn a hefty income.
As we know how addicted people are to mobile gaming, gambling at the same time has made many youngsters addict to gambling as well.
The problem arises when these youngsters are losing big amounts of money which they haven't even earned yet.
Many times it's either borrowed from someone else or it's their parents'/relative's money which they use for gambling.
The rise of mobile gambling has definitely increased the number of gambling addicts as well.
1850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Finding value bets on: September 17, 2022, 03:24:50 PM
For me, a bet where I am getting decent returns on a bet that is most probably about to win would be a value bet.
For example if I am placing a bet where I know that I would most probably win this bet and if the returns are over 1.5x times then I would consider it as a value bet.
The chances of winning the bet should be at least over 85% in this case. I have played such bets few times and won in most of the cases.

The odd is decent enough if you can repeat it over and over. You can earn huge with your initial capital. Though there's no assurance that you do it in every bet that you made, the chance to lose is still there even if you think the percentage of your chance is over 85%, there's still something that will ruined your pick and lead you to lose your money.

Yes ofcourse, as long as there is even 0.01% chance of losing we can't be sure of winning the game.
Even the slightest possibility could occur if we don't have a really good luck.
But having said that, if we do have a good luck then chances are higher for us to win the bet.
Also, it's kinda logical to place a bet on the winning team rather than randomly picking one out.

I used to remember the big failure that I made way back, a top caliber team was beat by an underdog, it was only 1.05 odd if I remember it right though not a huge amount of bet but it was a very shocking outcome, unexpected to happen but it indeed happened. So I guess there's nothing that we can say about that possibility and besides, you are in the gambling industry, so expect that losing is also part of this business.

Logically right, why bother to bet randomly if you have good knowledge about the game? You can use that to weight the bet and give your shot an edge.

But again, you need to remember that there's always a chance that you might lose that pick and you need to move forward.

Yes ofcourse, nobody can accurately predict the outcome of an even going to happen in future especially in gambling.
So even if we lose the bet it's still one of the outcomes that had happened and we should know that fact.
Moving on from a loss is definitely a skill that not everyone has. Many people chase the losses and end up losing more.
Moving on from it and planning out your next move is the strategy that everyone should focus on.
1851  Local / India / Re: Future of remote jobs causing stress on: September 17, 2022, 02:33:31 PM
Hello community as you know millions of people working remote jobs and earning huge money, it is positive step to comfortable life. But is there online work causing stress and disability in body? if yes how to save us, already you know its impossible to reduce attention from a huge money source!!!!!
See the truth is today be it any desk job their Job involves usage of Computers extensively which means even if the job was not remote the person would still be glued in front of a computer for a similar amount of time just in a different city, a different environment basically in an office. So it would have caused equal stress and disability. I do agree that working along with Peers might help you to rejuvenate you a bit as you might chill out with them for some time and relax but that would give equal stress of living in a different city and doing things by yourself staying away from your family. I think nothing can be done about this it's only you who should know how to keep yourself physically and mentally fit. Join a gym or Yoga or any hobby to keep yourselves mentally destressed.

That's a very valid point. Whether it be office desk job or remotely working from home, the amount of time we are glued to computers is almost equal.
So it all depends on one's perspective how he/she is taking it. Before covid I used to do a desk job and it was fun to be honest.
I used to play sports with my team in the morning and then start the work and after covid I am working remotely yet I hit the gym in the morning and start my work later.
So things haven't changed much it's just a different environment that's all. I kinda like working remotely though since it provide me flexible work hence a good work life balance.
1852  Local / India / Re: What payment processor are being used globally? on: September 17, 2022, 02:01:32 PM

Still, we do not see Bitcoin or any other Blockchain on this list. What do you think or what might be the reason those cheap transaction-based blockchains are not on it?

Isn't it obvious that most countries are still skeptical on using crypto based payment methods.
In fact most of the countries haven't even regulated cryptocurrencies yet and so none of them are using crypto as a legal tender.
Only a few countries like El Salvador are using bitcoin as a payment but even then the number of transactions are more in traditional payment methods than in cryptocurrencies.
The fact that even after declaring bitcoin as a legal payment method people are hesitant when using it.
So we can say that crypto will take a good amount of time to be on the list you have posted.

1854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So the ETH merge has finally happened on: September 16, 2022, 03:53:00 PM
Can someone please explain to me why did the merge cause the price to go down? I am not saying that people shouldn't sell or anything, I just do not understand the logic behind it and makes me feel like there is a good chance we just end up holding a little while longer and make a quick profit if its just about peoples perseption of it. There doesn't seem like any good valid reasons to sell right now to me, but maybe I am missing something, if people explained to me what seems to be the main reason why they are selling, then maybe I would understand and I would sell too, but couldn't figure out myself.

There might be multiple reasons contributing to the dump. Firstly the market itself is in a bear market.
Secondly, many people who bought ETH thinking they would profit out of the fork would now sell their coins.
Thirdly, merging to PoS network makes ETH more centralized now so may be people are in a fear and thus the selling.
So the chances of dump were high right from the beginning but to be honest ETH didn't dump as much as I thought.
Though we can see the dump ETH is still holding it well.
1855  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Going 3x this month for swing trading worth it? on: September 16, 2022, 03:46:47 PM
At this point it sounds like a good strategy. Also, if at all bitcoin price goes until 14000 you still have the option to add more funds to secure your funds from liquidation.
The chances of bitcoin going to 14000 are slim but as we all know, anything can happen in the crypto community.
But yeah, if bitcoin goes bullish then it will yield some nice profits from this strategy.
The op have a nice leverage and with a liquidation price of $14,000, it will take almost impossible for the market to pull back to that amount even though we're in a bear market and Bitcoin price is unpredictable. But this strategy looks decent to me although with high risk and potential profits. If you have taken a close look at the Bitcoin market since the beginning of September, you would have noticed that Bitcoin has built a strong resistance at the 20k level even though that benchmark have been broken last week when Bitcoin pull below $20,000 but even with that Bitcoin reclaimed back it 20k position and even touched $22,000 plus last week.

We must always have the risk mindset and only trade what we can afford to lose, future trading is hard for beginners, and there can easily lose money which is why it is better to trade with a small amount of capital.
Patience is the key to success. And I think OP has that mindset and a reason why he never uses stop-loss to protect from losing but rather they take the risk and wait for the ATH to come. It is how he strategies his trading and he must stick to it just to prove and make it possible, it is somehow possible as I believe it. Yet, it really needs more time to reach. So I guess OP must wait for another month to achieve his target and he really needs to be strong and committed to what he is doing, otherwise he fails.

With the current trend in market it seems it will take a while for OP to get profits.
At the same time it is hard to say if bitcoin would be able to sustain it's price at $20k.
Bitcoin is falling to this price again and again and I fear that once this support is broken then the next support would be near $15k.
1856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Solana be the next Ethereum??? on: September 15, 2022, 02:42:32 PM
Solana quickly became a favorite among many investors, Does it became the next Ethereum Huh Huh Huh

I was once a Solana believer. Although I still trust Solana to become one of the top rated cryptocurrencies but my trust has lowered because of frequent halts in the blockchain.
Halting a blockchain is definitely not good but I guess it was absolutely necessary for Solana to do it.
I still hold a chunk of Solana coins since I still has the potential to recover and gain trust of everyone but then let's see how it goes.
1857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / So the ETH merge has finally happened on: September 15, 2022, 02:40:02 PM
The long awaited ETH merge has finally happened today and thing went smooth as for the merge from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake.
I personally thought that ETH would dump as soon as the merge would happen and I can see that it is dumping in price but slowly.
There were also rumors that a hard form might occur but we didn't see any of that happening.
So what do you guys think, what's next with Ethereum ?

Anyone want to take a guess how long Freebitco.in will go without compulsory KYC (Know Your Customer) verification? It has become a trend for sites to go without it for many years and then suddenly they change business model or they make KYC requirements compulsory.  Roll Eyes

As long as it is still legally possible to run an unlicensed site and not to implement KYC. We opened other sites that are licenced as a sort of insurance against it ever becoming impossible because we don't want to change Freebitco.in.

That is truly the wow factor of freebitco.in. Being a traditional faucet site running without KYC for so many years is itself a big deal.
The additional benefits such as the WoF and increased interest are some nice benefits freebitco.in has provided recently.
I personally think freebitco.in still has many years to go without KYC. Give or take at least years down the line.

1860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC dumps on high inflation report.. on: September 14, 2022, 02:21:22 PM
Yeah even I was shocked to see bitcoin dumping today. I could see the red candle getting bigger and bigger in front of my eyes and I was like why the hell is it happening at a time when bitcoin was recovering so nicely.
I guess even the ETH merge cannot spike up the market now since its too close now and bitcoin is falling like anything.
But why is the inflation report effecting bitcoin price so drastically. High inflation should increase the price of bitcoin isn't it ?
