Why not make our own system?

1862  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin with no KYC verification on: September 05, 2020, 09:50:00 PM
Whether we like it or not, it soon to come a moment that we can no longer buy Bitcoin or any crypto that never ask KYC. It is somewhat opposite to its feature being fully anonymous but for security reasons why it really happening in the coming days. Even small exchanges are now asking for it and much more in big exchanges. And if you are looking away to buy Bitcoin without this thing, it is really hard to find it.
Just a quick thought about securing bitcoins without having KYC. Buy a cold storage now from secured website or supplier, of course make a new email and have an alter address for the delivery. The next step is risky but it is all it takes to avoid any one knowing that you are buying bitcoins except from the one that you are buying with peer-to-peer, you just need to trust them but before that make sure that you can check their reputation. It is okay to spend quite higher at least you got what you want. Anyways why are you afraid of being known.
1863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain technology in universities on: September 05, 2020, 08:32:47 PM
Blockchain is not all about cryptocurrency although cryptocurrency seem to be the most popular of the use because it is the most profitable investment in many years.
LOL NO. Blockchain was not designed for cryptocurrencies to be profitable, blockchain is used to store unalterable data which combines with cryptography for better purpose, not because for profit but for securing information. Cryptocurrency is the most popular used of blockchain log should be made online and public.

As many countries are adopting blockchain in many sectors I believe studies from researchers will improve and enhance the use across many other sectors in the country/department. The technology is not as young but there is capacity for some developments for security especially
I guess there should be less worry about blockchain being taught in school coz you can basically apply for webinars about blochain, seminars and programs about blockchain, video tutorials about it. I don't think we should need a school lesson for blockchain, but it will be a great way to proceed.
1864  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without setting stop loss (Risky or Not)? on: September 05, 2020, 07:32:17 PM
Since 2017 even until now, I never try to use it honestly speaking. Because so far even without it, I can still able to earn good depending on the flow of the movement in the market or it depends on the coins you trade it then of course.
So you're manually monitoring it right? well stop loss is not for every one I guess because there are people who can't decide where they  should stop hoping for a good return, and also there are people who knows the value of quitting. Stop loss is obviously one of the useful tool in trading to avoid huge losses, by this they can gather it all up again and start a new trade with learned lesson.

And the risk was there whether we use stop loss or not, that's what I know about it,
Having no stop loss mechanics is riskier I think, but good for you coz you can manage it by yourself.
1865  Other / Meta / Re: Legendaries need love as well. on: September 05, 2020, 06:57:13 PM
I didn't even know you were posting specifically about health stuff. But anyway, if you like posting about health stuff and if you actually enjoy researching about it, then why stop? We don't really need merits as Legendary members anyway(though I'll admit receiving merits makes me feel good a bit).

Well he don't need merits to rank up because he is already at the highest possible rank and secondly he is not in any signature campaign which requires certain number of merits in the last 120 days.
I guess this is the reason why some members don't bother themselves to merit a legendary member in the forum coz they think that it's all about the ranking system. It is overwhelming for a legendary member to receive a merit coz that means that they are delivering good stuff in here.

An ohh Jet Cash, I think there were a few people who find you health posts convenient for themselves, don't stress yourself too much!

1866  Economy / Economics / Re: PornHub now accepts Bitcoin and Litecoin (News coincides with BTC decline?) on: September 05, 2020, 06:10:59 PM
Anyway, I doubt that huge amount of dump just came from this.
It must be something else.
Could have been something else, coz this was suppose to boost the price of bitcoin knowing that there are people who will buy bitcoin and litecoin for anonymity of their buy in pornhub. The huge dump we saw are just probably whales taking their money off to spend. People who pulls out their bitcoin after the hype of some projects could be a reason too, since bitcoin was just staying for quite long time in that range, people could have been bored and try these new waste projects.
1867  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Cryptocurrency rates especially BTC Fluctuate so quickly? on: September 05, 2020, 05:15:25 PM
What drives the demand up high is the decentralization, coz many people wants to be pseudonymous when transacting online and it happened to be found in bitcoin. Another thing is from speculation, when people speculates it creates demand in some point but it's not always going high. So if you are asking why the price of bitcoin is rapidly going up and down, that's basically because of the mass speculation.
1868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest Gambling Losers on: September 04, 2020, 09:19:37 PM
Everything is fine as long as you are losing your own money! When you lose money you loaned you are getting yourself into huge problems!
How could you spend in gambling a money that came from loans?that is a total BS thing. No one in right mind will do that unless addicted gambler.
The reality is addicted gambler does not know what they are doing with themselves, one day you'll find them in their room doing nothing, the other day they already loaned a huge amount of money to gamble. I guess this is time for the loan agencies to get rid of their addict clients.

Quote
These guys are losing millions, but I am somehow sure they have the money for that. High rollers have awesome wins, how not with high stakes gambling, but they as all other gamblers have their bad days, losing streaks, etc…
Obviously depends on the game that they are playing at, fortune cannot be yours all the time,  just like the cards it can be shuffled.

Imagine that kind of money being focused on a single city in Senegal, talagang makikita mo ngayon pa lang kung paano na mamumuhay ang mga tao doon.

1870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting: how much knowledge is too much on: September 04, 2020, 08:03:04 PM
More knowledge is never a bad thing.

The more you learn about something, you'll open your eyes to the new possibilities that other people fail to see.
What I believe is quite opposite, it is a bad thing when you know a lot of things, as you said it will be open for possibilities, countless of possibilities and that also mean that there is a lot going to your mind. Let's say you know a lot in statistics, you will always think of the highest possible outcome and will tend to forget the other side, that's what I notice when I played too competitive, there's a lot going to my mind that I can't see the things in my front anymore, I usually overlook easy things and I always make it complicated.

If you don't want to deal with information, statistics etc... dice is your thing.
50/50 chance of winning is better, I can say.
1871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is Going to "DEAD....!" Need Discussion..... on: September 04, 2020, 07:19:21 PM
LOL you did compare the year where the bitcoin was hyped by investors, and at that time bitcoin was the only coin that most people know in the market. You just can say that bitcoin will die, bitcoin will be down or whatever just because the price today is not what you expected. The bitcoin is swimming on a lot of people, speculations that made the bitcoin more balance in volatility, there is no one sided movement for now because every one of us is waiting.
1872  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now the 6th largest world currency on: September 04, 2020, 06:31:53 PM
You can't compare fiat currencies with bitcoin due to bitcoin just being powered by these currencies. In simple terms, bitcoin is any fiat in digital form.
Bitcoin was just a product of belief and fueled by fiat currency, I guess it is very pointless to compare bitcoin to fiat currencies, the only thing they differ is that bitcoin is running to a different network and decentralization.
1873  Economy / Services / Re: Roobet.com | Art Contest - $5000 Prizepool up for grabs! Ends August 31st on: September 04, 2020, 12:42:27 PM
As I monitor this thread the whole month of September, I've seen a lot of entries that is deserving to win the spots of top 5. I know all you guys want to win or be at top 5 but the thing is the taste of judges does not favor your artwork but I'm sure everyone's artwork is appreciated and that is more important than the money.

If you did not win, don't pull others artwork down, you don't know how much effort they inserted to build it.

And for those people who thinks that Drawings are underappreciated you guys are wrong, what you guys have in mid is that hand made is the best form of art when in fact there are thousands of artwork that can be made creatively.

Congrats to all winners, and for those who did not make it, make this as your fuel next time  Wink
1874  Other / Meta / Re: Is it time to have a Corona virus sub-board? on: September 03, 2020, 10:04:16 PM
sub-board: covid-19 boring.
Yeah, that would be my vote.  But seriously, no I don't think we need a coronavirus/COVID-19 child board.  Some of the threads in Economics make mention of it, but in those cases it's usually in an appropriate context and most of the threads are at least somewhat interesting.
[/quote[ I agree, some covid related threads are appropriate to the boards they are posted, those who are not or careless shall be reported. But these days like a week or two, I haven't see any covid thread for most of my posting sections, even in bitcoin discussion. If the thread did not caught your interest, leave nothing there.

The debates about conspiracy theories or whether (as Jet Cash mentioned) the government or pharmaceutical companies should be paying for vaccine research should stay in whatever section they're currently in, which is P&S/Off-Topic.
It should go in Politics and society, those conspiracies that involves the government and societal issues, not in Off-topic coz covid is affecting every country's economy, so put it either P&S or economics or just don't post coz yea its already boring to talk that stuff about.

1875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COCK FIGHTING: COVID-19 health protocols violators, caught on: September 03, 2020, 09:22:42 PM
everyone bet on this. when you stay in area far from the city, there is nothing left to do but socialize with what the people knew. the local have different things to do to pass time. people who bet on cockfighting will sure bet also on spider match.
I have watched a live cockfighting but it was not held in cockfight arena tho, but I must say that it is driven by the culture of a country, people knowing less of technology will surely love things within their area just like this. I never experienced betting on a cockfight, coz I think it is really a luck game, there is no better cock just a matter on who strikes first, I guess  Huh

but there is an online betting for this, you might be interested to download their app to bet. you can search "online sabong" i'm sure you will find it.
Probably from the Philippines because of the word 'sabong' , or maybe from Spain coz they influenced Philippines too. Would love to try this even once.
1876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulations in online Gambling sites on: September 03, 2020, 08:51:38 PM
There are so many countries that have banned online gambling, including the country where I live. But fortunately it still can
accessed using a VPN.
You have less chances of getting caught using a VPN however VPNs is also risky in gambling, you'll fall in not very ideal situation when the casino caught you using a VPN and found out that you are from a restricted country with strict ruling in online gambling. I call it not fortunate coz you can access using a VPN, I call it gambling yourself to gamble.
1877  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: DITO stocks - dapat ba mag invest na DITO? on: September 03, 2020, 08:15:27 PM
Honestly, it's too early to say. There will be a lot of adjustments.

Isa pa, ang pagtatayo ng mga signal towers o cell sites to cover the entire country will take years to finish. So, the competition will remain tight in the next few years.
Building cell sites will actually take years but with less people during these days? sa tingin mas madadalian ang DITO na magtayo niyan lalo na't suportado ng presidente ang isa sa may ari nyan.
1878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not so far from getting BTC globally accepted! Pornhub now accepts BTC & LTC. ;) on: September 03, 2020, 07:51:14 PM
You'd expect controversial "services" like porn sites would be the first to adopt bitcoin due to people probably not wanting to pay through their credit cards.
Controversial service? I don't find porn sites giving controversial services, it's kinda normal to me in fact they are getting billions each year. They only accepted crypto payments last year I guess, I'm not sure if it is last year, because there were some conflicts with paypal, and paypal stopped their operation with pornhub.

But noo they decided to add that shitcoin Verge(XVG) first. But whatever, better late than never.
There is a lot better crypto than bitcoin, I also questioned why they selected Verge and I got 2 answers on my mind.

1. With less popular coin the transfer will be instant as there is no traffic on the network, and less fees of course.
2. Verge offers anonymity, they got a public ledger and also private so transaction on sites like this can be hidden.
1879  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] Casineos Signature Campaign | Hero/Legendary (Payment rate update) on: September 03, 2020, 12:00:35 PM
I've received mine. You guys should check your XRP balance as well  Wink

I think they chose to pay in XRP coz the fee in bitcoin is too high compare to XRP as of the moment.
1880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's Image Is Getting Stronger by the Minute on: September 02, 2020, 11:07:29 PM
and what will happen after bitcoin stops mining? what will happen to its price?
Then also its price would increase as the demand would then also be continuously increasing but the supply would become constant and with more people forgetting their private keys or their seeds, supply will even decrease in the future.
We can't really sure about the increase demand in the future as there are many coins in the market which is better than bitcoin. What I'm telling is the pure belief of us towards bitcoin will get bitcoin that far, probably $50K in price? but the question is until when are we going to support bitcoin? The uncertainty of things in the cryptomarket creates the speculation of which bitcoin's price is built. But I'm one of you guys, I'm hoping for bitcoin too.

So there would always be a positive impact on the bitcoin price as the mining goes on and on...
I am curious to see how the miners would thrive when the reward becomes obsolete and also the transactions would become cheaper on the bitcoin network.
Create a bitcoin extension, BTCX. lmao just kidding. Miners will accept the offer or leave the house, that's all it takes.
