1861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where's the bitcoin hype gone? on: July 09, 2018, 05:10:48 AM
The answer is simple all the people wanted to become rich in 1 month with Bitcoin, and when they get here they get frustrated and disappointed, so they are gone, and spreading out some bad information, so other people didn't come.
This is so true. The greedy guys are gone after months of not making any profit and crying about their loss. But I know they will be back once the price begins to rise again. And they will loss again too because they are going to be coming in late.
1862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Now time to buy and hold altocoin? on: July 08, 2018, 06:55:37 PM
I think this time in mid-July is the right time to buy altocoin that has been popular .. to hold up its price rise .. because I observed already about 6 months bitcoin prices declined after the new year yesterday .. and now in the middle of the year when it will back up the bitcoin price.

What do you think?  is this a great time to buy altocoin?
That's a FOMO mentality. The best time to buy was a few weeks ago during the bloodbath in the market.

Still, should we buy right now? It's hard to say, I think we're not out of the bearish trend yet, we could still see some downward movement in the short-term. Then again, we could be very close to a reversal point, especially if the btc price goes past the 7k mark and finds enough support in that range in the upcoming days/weeks. If you think it's worth taking the risk (price could go down again) then buy.

You are correct about the FOMO mentality. And if he the op thinks now is the right time to buy in he will be making a mistake. The market has started surging already. May be he should wait for a reversal signal to jump in or jump in now for a small profit.
1863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 5 Altcoins Under $1 to Invest In 2018. on: July 07, 2018, 07:56:11 PM
Okay, here goes my choice of altcoins below $1 already listed on exchanges and coinmarketcap (which I have looked through. There can be many other good project I've not heard about)

1. Electroneum - They are in top 100 but comes in just 2 cents. Though had some trouble initially, they are a working, mineable cryptonight.
2. Ripple - 67 cents Seriously, I don't like them, but they have an active team with contacts to high level of people in banks. They can make a differnce.
3. Thekey - one and a half cent, they are on a steady ride with a steady project.
4. Docademic (MTC) - 21 cent, they actually showcased their hardware, app and seem to have real contact with doctors and hospitals.
5. Zeepin (ZPT) - 6 and a half cent They are too building their own blockchain, experienced group of chinese.
1. Electroneum - They are in top 100 but comes in just 2 cents. Though had some trouble initially, they are a working, mineable cryptonight.   Stay away from ETN. It's a dead coin.
2. Ripple - Yes, tick and buy
4. Docademic (MTC) - Yes, tick and buy

You can add Faceter, Iost, Dim. They are all at a giveaway prices now considering how fast they will rise.

If you want to invest in the $1. I prefer you to have check these altcoins.

1.EOS
2.XRP
3.WAVES
4.DEX
5.Doge
EOS and Waves are way above $1 per unit.
1864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: INDIA KEEPS BAN IN PLACE,ANY THOUGHTS? on: July 07, 2018, 05:57:32 PM
India is not Japan or China. India is a poor underdeveloped third world country. So, whatever happens in India about Cryptos is immaterial to me and has no consequence in the world finance. If the India government likes let it also ban bathing or eating, the rest of the world won't care.
1865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does crypto currency change the lives of ordinary people? on: July 07, 2018, 07:35:53 AM
Cryptocurrency changes the lives of people in two ways, namely: in terms of new knowledge and secondly in finance. We see the financial aspect more here and on the general market log with signature campaigns and ICOs.
1866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ATM machine for bitcoin reached kenya on: July 07, 2018, 05:53:45 AM
Bitcoin has now reached in some countries in AFRICA and this is very good to bitcoin users. An ATM machine for bitcoin has been launched in kenya and so lets call bitcoin a long last crypto currency for ever. it will stay.
Even though I think this is some cherry news for Kenya and Africa, I also will like it to spread to other Africa countries and more in the west Africa region.

I'm happy for Kenya and it's just the beginning. I wish more countries around the world to follow the Kenya initiative. In this article you can see more details. Kenya is the latest Country to launch its Own Cryptocurrency Atm
Thank you for providing us with a link to the site, even though the OP did not do that to verify the source of his information.
1867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian exchanges have announced that no crypto-fiat exchanges will be allowed . on: July 07, 2018, 05:25:39 AM
I do not know what the Indian government gains from banning crypto transactions in the country. Such a poor country should allow bitcoin in so as to enable the citizens have a level of financial freedom. What a pity that they like the Phillipines have bad leaders.
1868  Economy / Services / Re: [[[ -- BUYING -- ]]] Buying signature/profile picture spots on: July 05, 2018, 12:40:58 AM
Help this op promote a scam/ponzi scheme and get tagged. He has not made any explanation as to what service he wants promoted, yet people are showing interest and rushing over to him and not minding that op is a newbie. Newbie promoting such a service is a dangerous sign.

May be Canada just like in China has no internet access too. VPN may not help Darkstar.

If there was a demerit system in the forum I would have definitely given this person a -1 merit.
Then let us poke whoever is in charge to introduce a Demerit system.

1872  Economy / Services / Re: want to buy $30 porn account (using credit card) i pay $50 in btc on: June 27, 2018, 10:43:44 PM
The community is getting worried about the fall of bitcoin and op is talking about pornography in a bitcoin community. This is a shame.
1873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM Introduced in Kenya for the First Time on: June 22, 2018, 08:06:51 PM
The First East African Bitcoin ATM has been installed in Nairobi. This will enable the users to purchase Bitcoins and Litecoins instantly. Read on to know more!

This is unbelievable. I mean I could easily believe this story if it happened in South Africa or Nigeria but to happen in Kenya is an upset considering how SA and Nigeria are leading countries in Africa on Cryptos. Nevertheless, we can not take away the glory and attention from Kenya. This is great news. Enjoy Nairobi.
1874  Economy / Services / Re: 🔥🔥[SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN] BTCOON.COM 🔥🔥 on: June 22, 2018, 07:00:01 PM
Am not sinsure those applying here are bothered not getting paid. Otherwise I do not see why they should apply in this campaign run by a newbie and without escrow. Oh sure, there is no crime in free advertising.
1875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Manager Level = Campaign Successfully? on: June 22, 2018, 05:37:39 PM
As for managers, do you take into consideration the rank of the user who manages the campaign?
Because I've seen Sr members in campaigns promoted by Jr. Members, so I don't know if the level of user is a deadline between Trustful, Scam or Successfully  ICOs.
Yes, I have participated in campaigns managed by junior members but they are a risk if you know what I mean. I always make sure the funds are with escrow before I join. It is very important to choose your campaigns based on managers. Trusted managers will always prevent participants from getting scammed.
1876  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it the best time to buy cheaper crypto while Bitcoin is at high price? on: June 22, 2018, 05:11:27 PM
well with your logic then you should go ahead and buy grains of sand because they also are cheaper than bitcoin. and it just happens that there is a finite but huge number of them available somewhat similar to the altcoins that are cheaper than bitcoin!
Even grains of sand can be gotten for free. But am not sure that is what he means with his comment. I also support buying very cheap coins and hold for price to rise and then sell off. There is nothing bad with that.
1877  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain technology is not a trend on: June 22, 2018, 01:59:16 PM
Most of the people knows about the price value of a cryptocurrency but never understand its true technology and this is why many people are panicking. If this technology fully understand by the investors I’m sure we will go high as expected.
Do not blame those who do not know how the blockchain technology works because it is not an easy technology to understand. Let us enjoy the monetary aspect of bitcoin too as we learn to master how the technology works.
1878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Analyst say bitcoin will Obsolete one day. on: June 22, 2018, 01:33:00 PM
The predictor says its useful,  its visible, but one day it will be obsolete.
One thing I want to say people wants to says negatively.  this is a new technology, we can't appreciate new things.
 new link down below.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/geopolitical-analyst-believes-blockchain-will-become-obsolete/amp
People like to say negative things about bitcoin just to be in the news. They forget that technology comes and goes just like humans are born and also die. Nothing stays forever. But before blockchain dies, a lot of money would have been made.
1879  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to Bitcoin. Should I mine or buy coin with my $6000 on: June 22, 2018, 07:19:16 AM
Am not sure anyone will advice you to mine bitcoin at this time given the cost of mining and the cheap price of bitcoin in the market. Anyone who advises you the other way may not be telling you the truth of the market situation. So I think you are better buying bitcoin for a long term than mining it.
1880  Other / Off-topic / Re: Backup is important on: June 21, 2018, 10:53:17 PM
I was thinking about it also. Its really hard if you lost your phone with important details regarding your investments. I am not that techie if ever i lost my phone this might be a disaster for me. Maybe i will use the phone of my wife as my back up if somethings happen. And also back in email would be nice too. Using some hardware wallets is also a good option especially if you have big amount coins. Hackers will do anything just to have easy money.
I think we share the sane level of fear here. I know why I do not like the Google authenticator thing is because of stories about how users can not get access to sites or their funds once the device to which that authenticator is tied to is lost. I like sites that give option of SMS and emails and most websites are beginning to have this options too.
