Yes Shardul Thakur played very well there at end of last  two over he scored 22 runs in just 8 balls, it will help to india cross 200 mark and it is very difficult to chase to SriLanka now because they are already lost 2 wicket for 11 run.
SL needs 120 runs in 58 balls to win the match and they already lost 4 early wickets so it looks highly impossible for them to win at the moment but in T20 two good overs will make a big difference,if SL get 20+ runs in two overs then they will get down the required run rate to below 10 and then its possible to hit balls at the last few overs. And they have to do all these without losing any wickets.
1862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 10, 2020, 02:05:22 PM
India is scoring over 10 runs per over and didn't lose any wicket, both players scored equally if Dhawan stats get going another batsman can support him from other end so basically India is aiming for huge first innings total.

And also players like more chances given to the young players to groom themselves at international standards hope they will use it wisely.

All of this will depend on India's performance in T20 Worldcup. If team India under the captan cy of Kohli is able to win this tournament or become a runner-up team then I do not think people will question the captain. If not then I am sure BCCI under Sourav Ganguly will know what to do, not to forget the coach too 😀😜
I don't think there will be any changes in the captaincy of Indian team until the next 50 over world cup for sure.T20I world cup will not affect anything even if India doesn't becomes runner up they will move forward since they are better team as everyone knows.Sometimes on particular matches our plans won't workout so accept and move on is good for team.
1864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 10, 2020, 04:27:28 AM
I think India is not in need of replacement in captaincy since Kohli is still too young so India will not going to make any tests for the longer format captaincy and all the players were adopting to the style of Kohli captaincy so let it be and crush every opponents irrespective of how good they were playing cricket then only BCCI can make more money. Cheesy

Whether the fans like it or not, Kohli is going to be the captain for anther 6-7 years. So that means that Rohit Sharma would never get a chance to be the full time captain of India (unless he is planning to continue playing until he is 45 years old). So it will be better if the BCCI groom some of the players who are in their mid 20s such as Sreyas Iyer as the replacement to Kohli.

The same was told about Sourav Ganguly one of the best one day captain for India but, he got replaced by Dhoni very swiftly. You cannot underestimate these youngsters. Anyone can replace him in coming years, if the team doesnot win any big ICC tournaments under his captaincy, which by the way has not happened from 2013 he might get replaced.
Captains will be criticized when team is not performing well so possibility of replacing the captains if it goes for too long but as far now India is one of the best cricket team and getting more stronger everyday so the captain will not go into that criticized phase for new few years.

They are representing a country here so if a country has more wealth than other then they can show off them as better team by buying players from other countries? This is not the real success of sport, but this is not against the rules as per ICC rules so nothing to be discussed.
I am surprised with the level of patriotism showed here, everyone who is complaining about someone playing for another country because of money are they working for their own government or working for a foreign company, people usually migrate to other countries looking for a better living and if a sports man does that is it a big crime Cheesy.
I didn't said it was a crime because its not against the rules and we are living in democratic not in dictatorship but as a common man from a country we want fellow born citizen to represent his own nation because it is going to give recognization for their country along with individual as well.
1866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 09, 2020, 04:05:05 PM
I think a lot of the New Zealanders are angry that Stokes dumped their country and went to play for England. But you can't really blame him. Stokes migrated to England when he was a kid. You can't compare this to someone like Eoin Morgan (who first represented Ireland, and then switched to England). But to be fair to Stokes, he has always stated that he is proud of his Kiwi heritage. You won't hear that from those Kolpak players.
People migrating to other countries is not a new thing and if Stokes parents moved when he was a kid what is there to complain and not sure whether it has become a big issue as i have not seen any uprising against that and so is the case with Eoin Morgan where he migrated to a country which pays him good.
They are representing a country here so if a country has more wealth than other then they can show off them as better team by buying players from other countries? This is not the real success of sport, but this is not against the rules as per ICC rules so nothing to be discussed.
1867  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy bitcoin with credit card on: January 09, 2020, 11:41:57 AM
Technically, you should not use a credit card to pay bills because you pay a credit from another credit instrument, such as a credit card. It's somehow frustrating, but the fact is that you don't have any money or fund to purchase something like buying bitcoin to make profit. And back in the case of bills being charged, they don't allow it because you're trying to be in dual risk. Even though you might think you're just using it to have the chance to invest in something to get the money out of the credit card and pay it later. If you have a credit card, I think the best way is to apply for a cashback offer. Then use the cash to purchase bitcoin.
But there is an advantage of bitcoin with credit cards when your country completely accepted and regulated the crypto trading. If you got into any scam exchanges and used credit cared to buy then you can actually take this into legal side and never needed to pay the scammed amount to the credit card companies they can claim it via insurance but this will not be applicable once you bought bitcoins and store them into your wallet IMHO.

ICC T20 World Cup 2020 statement: Australian bushfire crisis

https://www.icc-cricket.com/media-releases/1562842

Good to see many of the global cricket stars tweeting about this crisis and requesting everyone to help. Let's hope Australia gets rid of this fire ASAP. Sad
Bush fire is getting unstoppable and not much support from other governments as I read, only people are busy with discussing Iran and US attacks they for get about 1.2 Million hectares were burning and still counting these tweets might get some attention but governments should help because they are the only one can.

1870  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: handling bitcoin volatility on: January 08, 2020, 07:00:21 PM
Keep eye on the market and trade till you are on screen,Make sure to convert your BTC in stable coins like USDT,DAI to save your BTC from dumps.
What if the price bumps in overnight like its happening for the last 48 hours or something we will lose the profits right.Saving the capital is good but taking the risks for making more profits is the mart choice so convert your profits into stable coins and let the capital as volatile coins like bitcoin,if price bumps then its your day.

No way, his presence in squad is not debatable at all. He is best player of all format. Seriously doubting your cricket knowledge.
He might have said that in the context when India is playing weaker teams like Bangladesh West Indies or Sri Lanka that the main players should give opportunities for new players. There is no doubt about the importance of Kohli in the team as he is the best batsman in the world throughout formats and he is performing consistently for India for a long time and his stats shows that.
India has started well though both the openers are back in pavilion and and now India just require another 53 in 46 balls and have 8 wickets in hand . It should be an easy chase unless India loses some quick wickets now and end up in a troubled zone .

There is no fun in watching such one sided matches. I was watching the South Africa vs England test and switching back to Star Sports just to check the score from the T20 match. I was expecting a slightly better performance from Sri Lanka (still expecting them to lose), as they are better in the shorter formats. But they failed in every single department.
Easy win for India and they won like a boss, with 15 balls to spare and 7 wickets in hand.A match to forget for SL and try to post better performance in their upcoming matches by correcting their mistakes of this match.
1873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 07, 2020, 02:05:31 PM
I think so today who will bat first they have more chances to win the match,  because of there has been heavy dew cover on the outfield for the last couple of days as per report said.
If dew is the case then chasing is always the best option as the outfield will be wet and the fielders will be having a hard time catching the ball and the bowlers especially spinners will be struggling to grip the ball and hence if dew is the case any team that wins toss will put the opposition to bat first and then chasing the score will be the smartest move in this situation.

You brother it is best option to choose the chasing when situations like that dew going to impact the match. Because it will be very difficult to bowlers and also fielding I am hope that if India wins toss they will choose Bowling first.
You are right,India won the toss and elected to bowl first.SL lost their first wicket for 38 and now they are currently passed 50 in the 7th over both seems pretty good at the moment. If Indian bowlers take two more wickets in quick session then they can control team SL to score any huge target later the dew will help India bot more and can get an easy win here.

At the end of third day England leading by 264 runs with 6 wickets in hand and Sibley on crease with 85 runs look like its end of test for South Africa and England on driving seat for winning second test and level of series just 70 to 80 runs could be enough for England as fourth inning never been easy for any team to survive with 325+ runs.
If South Africa still has players like Amla, Kallis and ABD then i would have given a chance from any situation but the players they have right now even does not have the shadow of these legendary players they had in the past and my bet on South Africa will be lost as England will level the series with the win unless there is some magic  Undecided.
Last match also looks too easy for ENG to win but they didn't so don't lose your hope anything can happen at any time.

Who knows there maybe a future legendary player is unspotted at the moment in their squad. If there is someone then its their time to show who are they to the real world. Smiley
1875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High price but no volume on: January 05, 2020, 05:17:29 PM
It's back to square one if you are holding a coin or token for long term and finally altcoin season comes and the token or coin surge in value but has no trading volume on exchange, all your efforts and pain while holding is total waste, do not hold tokens or coins that have no demands, real use cases are what makes them very demanding
The prices won't increase if there is no demand and if it happens with particular exchange they are trying to bump or dump but any serious investors should not hold the coins which got dying total marketcap value and less trading volume from time to time.

Once I had faced this situation where I am forced to sell my coins for 1/10th of market price but I am okay with that as long as I converted my asset into something which got real value.
1876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 05, 2020, 02:50:14 PM
England is turning the table in this test match as they have just lost 2 wickets in 2nd innings for a score of 163 runs and already have a total lead now of 209 runs. England may have around 400 runs lead and batting fourth on this track would put SA under pressure and to chase the score would be more difficult.
Eng taking time and conceding more balls that is really good thing while playing a test match, still two days left they have to force the match as long as possible to make RSA batsmen to struggle while facing balls. For wicket three already they posted 70 runs partnership now the lead mount to 216 and counting...

South Africa has really less chance in this match to be honest  based on the form of batsmen but its their home ground will they do something enormous to count this match as well into their side!
1877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 05, 2020, 07:19:49 AM
At the end of Day 3 OZ got 243 runs as lead with no wickets lost so they are going to make some quick runs on Day 4 and let the NZ to get trapped in middle of scoring runs or defending for whole one day to draw the match.Already I feel this is match for OZ.
1878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 04, 2020, 11:45:59 PM
Finally they lost 8 wickets and still trailing by 54 runs at the end of day 2 stumps. There is less chance from now for RSA to get some runs as lead which give little benefit for the england and also will be more difficult for South African batsmen to play on day 4 and 5.
If you think that the pitch will deteriorate in the final two days England does not have good spinners that could trouble the South African players and then the England bowlers too will find it difficult to bowl unless they find reverse swing, lets see how England is going to play in the second innings and then we will see how the match will go as 18 wickets lost in the first two days.
Both teams have a spinner on their playing squad but none of them are biggest names IMHO but England got part time blowler as Root the skipper of ENG can bowl as well if the ball starts swing so South Africa will be the one to struggle more because they are going to play the final innings of this match.
1879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020 - The Year Of Decentralization. Thoughts? on: January 04, 2020, 05:29:04 PM
It is going to be the adoption of decentralized service in my opinion,in the past years people realized about investing on decentralized currencies but they choose centralized services for using like trading but now almost all the exchanges got KYC as regulatory measure which forces lot of people to use decentralized servies means more and more projects are going to emerge in this year.
