Everyone hold fire, and error has been found and rectified, and an updated wallet is being compiled right now.
I will update when i get more news. Great! I am happy they act so fast. It does suprise me in a positive way. Boom selecta! I have even gone back onto IRC to help out, didint think I would be doing that.. but needs must and I am all ways happy to help out |

Fully unsync. I get one connection at start and it goes away. And I was stupid enough to send a chunk of LDOGE from bittrex to the non syncing wallet for staking
Your coins should be fine. They are on the blockchain. They will be waiting for you on whatever the valid chain ends up being. Thanks. Any idea why it is not syncing? I get one connection for few tens of seconds when i start-up the wallet, then nothing. It only processed the first two blocks I don't think this fork is working. Wait for a fix or see if old client is working. I think everyone is going to end up on their own chain using the new wallet. Here is the noob question, how do i move the addresses from one wallet to another? I have never switched before You don't. You only have one wallet and we will only have 1 valid blockchain once it's decided what that is. Backup the wallet.dat file in your appdata/roaming folder and don't lose it! EDIT : I'll come back in a couple hours and see if the fix is up and running. Ok thanks, we will get this sorted and as you have said EVERYONE BACK UP THE WALLET.DAT FILE ! |

I'm connected again and staked a few blocks. My limited number of connections seem to be cutting in and out. I will upload the blockchain if necessary, but I guess let's see if this works first or if it's necessary.
I hope bittrex has been notified because I see their LDOGE market is not frozen right now.........

I just staked 2 blocks. On block 138345 right now. Now I just wanna be sure I'm not on my own fork and other people are seeing this too.

Moment of truth. My plan is to stake up to the last minute, close the client, back up my entire roaming folder, cross my fingers, and fire up the new wallet. Let's see how it goes.........

@Heathcoin you really need to chill out. @Presstab I'm listening, please do not take note of hostile comments, if you can find the time please PM me with what you expect to happen @ fork and what can be done to solve the issue @old dev, please fuck off @everyone else, until we reach the fork time we simply don't know what will happen, MinerFTW says it will work, and until that is proved in correct then that is what I will believe will happen But in thread fighting is just plain silly ! |

Just out of interest what happens to those people that either may niot know about tomorrow or will be working/asleep when the fork happens.
I presume their coins will be safe yes ? I know they will fork off but all coins mined before the fork is safe yes even though they will now be on the wrong one ??
All coins mined before the fork will be safe. I thought as much, but I have had 3 PM's today asking that question, so thought we had better spell it on here for them |
