1862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 08, 2023, 09:29:36 PM
The game is still 2-1 in the favour of Tottenham Hotspur. Although this friendly matches aren't taken seriously it's just to check the fitness level of players and for the coaches to experiment their formation.

We saw that as arsenal won Manchester city although that's the community shield, it is still not a game to determine if City are less than arsenal, we have seen countless times arsenal has won the community shield but did not do well in the season.
This particular friendly game nearly game a bad mode this evening because I had predicted the in favor of Barcelona 1x and over 1.5
I never taught Tottenham would even take the lead but that's football for you but I am still glad that Barcelona made the necessary changes that resulted to their victory.

Although it's a friendly game but it's still helps to keep the player winning mentality in check and since Tottenham Hotspur has a game at hand they will need all the motivation they need to kick start their campaign m
1863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone explain how $1000 btc turned to $100 in wallet on: August 08, 2023, 09:19:51 PM
I believe OP might be inadvertently promoting spam here. Either they're being deceptive, or their intended message isn't coming across clearly. This isn't aligned with how Bitcoin operates. To address this, it's important to provide a detailed account of the exact events and circumstances, including transaction details if privacy isn't a concern. Without this information, the threads could become inundated with spam, hindering any potential solutions.
After reading all what the OP said, I came to draw a conclusion that is only possible the OP is seeking for attention by creating such thread that request answers from members here but have failed to provide detailed information on how the possible result required might come to light. I think the OP should just either lock the thread or provide the transaction details (id).
1864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Please put your gambling threads in the correct section!!!! on: August 08, 2023, 09:10:55 PM
Most users that fall victim to this actually do it out of ignorance while some just don't know that what they are posting in the gambling board is actually meant for the subsection discussion board for gambling related stories and event. And I would admit when I was also frequent in creation of gambling thread I also fell victim to this same issue but mine was move for me and then other users advice me and since then I have surely took to the correction.
1865  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The best idea for every Nigerians on: August 08, 2023, 08:55:24 PM
Oboy, this gas-related stuff will be really risky for someone to do. From what I can tell, it even has the potential to badly endanger lives, therefore it's best to find an alternative or to live a somewhat normal existence under any difficult circumstances. Given the size of the country, I believe that there are times or days when things would be better. We should have supplies for everything, including gasoline, diesel, and other fuels, but I also believe that gas should have advantages of its own.
With what I have seen so far with this new development I don't see any risk that have evolved with all the stores and people using it. We currently install our own gas carburetor to our generator and I must say the thing dey work really fine and it's even environmental friendly I think because the actual flame thats coming out from the generator is white instead of the usual black carbon monoxide that's explode out from using fuel in the generator.
1866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Days you need to work your ass at minimum wage for a BTC, by country on: August 07, 2023, 08:24:46 PM

No one can guarantee that bitcoin will perform better, than options that you currently have available, but surely many folks do consider bitcoin to be amongst the best of asymmetric bets to the upside (if not the best).. so surely it could be helpful to figure out ways to invest into it.. and even perhaps increase your income in order that you can invest into it earlier.. and then hopefully all of that ends up paying off.. but you can also continue to learn about bitcoin and to study it and to maybe tweak some of your BTC accumulation and BTC maintenance strategies along the way.. while you continue to study it, and if you are ONLY putting $10 per week into bitcoin, you still might be better off then someone who had chosen not to invest into bitcoin... and yeah, even your options to avoid fees, (or to lessen fees) or ways that you choose to store your BTC so that you don't lose them, may well change over time, too.
Even as no one can guarantee if Bitcoin is the best option for an investment but the masses still choose Bitcoin investment over all other options (altcoins) and if am to be specific, I myself will probably choose investing in Bitcoin than any other coins out there even if Bitcoin investment is something that has to do with patience and proper planning. Some folks actually choose investing in other coins just because of the high pump volume that most of these coins potray but some of these coins are just been pumped by their creator and most of them can can get your investment drained up when they start experience big dip because their capabilities to recover is at the very minimal where as Bitcoin is just quite the opposite.
1867  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: August 07, 2023, 08:00:06 PM
It will be more worth it, apart from our safe portopolio on the other hand we can also still buy when bitcoin experiences a temporary decline and make our portopolio fatter.
That would be much better especially for those who do not really understand about analysis and only do based on the analysis and speculation of others.
I hope that what most of us of do to accumulate bitcoin but this days the decline movement is very slow so we are still waiting for the decline to go further so we can buy more. Many bitcoiners do not or can not read the movement of bitcoin so they only rely on other analyst to supervise the market and buy bitcoin to their portfolio and as you as said, most of them only check the present moment of the market and once they see the slide decline in the price they would store their portfolio with a good amount of bitcoin against the next bull.

Studying the market or following it up to get a potential dip so we can actually buy Bitcoin to add to our portfolio isn't a bad idea at all but I kinda feel having a target to the amount of Bitcoin you actually want to buy ahead of the next season is less stressful and caught all anxiousness one might inquire from following up the market on a daily basis, what I particularly mean is to actually just buy when the funds is available just like DCA  having it at the back of your mind that before X date you would have achieved your particular BTC targeted or even more depending on your purchase capabilities.
1868  Other / Archival / Re: How to manage bitcoin correctly? on: August 07, 2023, 07:48:50 PM
I don't know why you asked this question@Op, but with simple reasoning to what you said, I think you probably can answer the question yourself although you may seem confused due to lack of proper knowledge if not you yourself said you had already held your BTC till when the price actually got to 69k and didn't sell during that time so it would be odd to sell now that the price is 30k don't you think?
1869  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: [2023/2024 FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP] Thread and Discussion. on: August 07, 2023, 07:23:04 PM
Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: WAFCON in FIFA Women's World Cup/23. You nor need move this topic to gambling like other users don suggest because e go come be duplication of topics just simply lock this one.

Going through the OP's post history, he has not made any comments in the gambling section, which makes it obvious that he might not even be aware that such a board exists.

Since there is an ongoing discussion regarding everything Africa football, it will be best for the OP to lock this thread as you have suggested, and then he can copy this and drop it as a comment under the existing thread referencing this one so that the discussion can continue there as there will be a lot of members ready to engage on the women's world cup.
I was surprised myself on seeing this particular thread here although I don't know if OP drop it here base on the fact that our falcons were aslo participating so he thought it would be a good means for we Nigerians to follow them up. But  just like NWADA001 said there is always the gambling board which host this particular discussion. So it would be nice if he just locked this one.
1870  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Life of a Crypto man on: August 07, 2023, 07:15:05 PM
My broda, for this country wey we dey e dey understandable for someone to think of crypto as a source of getting income but a sad truth still remains which is the risk that comes with trading crypto. For a start if we wan dey use crypto for a investment then securing a real life job is very important because na him go let you safe your assets to acquire profits in the end but if na daily trading or doing airdrop then the risk of you acquiring loss sef dey big.
1871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: August 04, 2023, 07:49:32 PM
Morocco did pretty well yesterday against Colombia and they got the 3pt they needed to qualify to the next round, this qualification made Morocco the first Arab county to qualify to the round of 16. It will make them stronger to face any team that come their way.
With Nigeria, South Africa and now Morocco still keeping and giving Africans hope that something good can still be done, that alone is something to be motivated about, I just wish for this African countries to do well and get into the next round, it will be a thing of joy if these 3 countries are still in the tournament till the semis.
Good luck to Nigeria, South Africa a d Morocco.
Morocco and France were two very promising teams but unfortunately these two teams played against each other in the round of 16 so one team will be eliminated from here.  The team that survives, France or Morocco, will likely do well. But yes, Morocco has a chance to do well, it is acceptable because the Moroccan team is very smart and the womens can play very well. so Morocco is a slightly more promising team than France in the women World cup
Wow! That's a pretty high confidence for a team that just recently broke history by qualifying for this round in their first time. whatsoever Morocco is as a surprise to anyone watching this women world cup and I for one has been amazed by their excellent performance. Although it's quite clear that African teams have done pretty well this time looking at the likes of Nigeria and Morocco who has already qualifed for the next round.
1872  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your reasons for adopting cryptocurrency? on: August 04, 2023, 07:34:58 PM
Lately majority of people find theirselves within the crypto space, but many of them do not really understand the actual reasons for adopting crypto currency other than to make profit, what are your own reasons for adopting cryptocurrency?
Like the many hoard of people who have found Bitcoin to be an ideal source of an investment I aslo choice this because of the it's power of store of value . Bitcoin is a digital currency which one can use to pay online for all sought of commodities but many people today just prefer buying it and actually holding it.
1873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there real sports bet groups on: August 04, 2023, 05:38:41 PM

Even if a few of their signals turn out to be right, it doesn't mean that they are the ultimate experts in the sports betting industry. The research and analysis that they maybe do, can be done by an individual as well if they have an interest in a specific sport that they are willing to bet on.

The difference between paid groups and those patronizing them is that research and analysis which they have devoted their time on to do because they want to sell it out. It is laziness on the part of most bettors that make to to use such means otherwise if they put in time for more research analysis, it is the same result they will get and that is the result of winning some and losing some. No betting apps or telegram betting group gives an accurate result of 100% back to back, because it is not possible.
It's actually pretty stupid how someone would feel that some group out there in the internet will actually provide an 100 %  sure odds tag to deliver them victory because I for one certainly know that they is no such channel and the crazy part is that you actually gat to pay for such service. I was personal invited to one of these groups and I instantly blocked it because I am very certain that all these groups operate same way we do because no one actually habor any hidden secrets to a match before it's kicks off.

1875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: August 04, 2023, 05:11:43 PM
Currently Karim Benzema is the best striker in the Arab Champions Cup with 3 goals.
Karim Benzema continues to display his level, even after switching clubs. He has managed to score in every single game he has played for Al Ittihad. The competition at this new club may not much of a challenge for him compared he has been used to at Europe. As long as his body and fitness remain in good condition can break records there.
He will certainly break record looking at the caliber of player that he is and I must say Kareem benzema is really putting his efforts in his new Saudi club but what I think he will miss is the competition like you said, if there is one about soccer with competition that would be the fact that competition actually brings out the best in every player and I hope this league changellers him to be the best over there but at least he has C. Ronaldo to see as a competition over there.
1876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: August 04, 2023, 05:05:51 PM

Arsenal have a squad with young players and of course, I think that factor also has an impact on their mentality as well from time to time. Because after all, building a team to be strong in all competitions doesn't seem to only be about having young players. Because if the coach is not able to form the mentality of the players to become a winning mentality, then at least they will experience a decrease in performance from time to time. Thus, every player must have a winning mentality and excellent conditions, of course to be able to have consistent performance throughout the season.

Arsenal had selected the young player as compared to the other team, they had the youngest squad in the league. The Arsenal had change the team with younger players all the time,it’s their one of the strategy. They think building the team with the younger players will help to the best team, but some experienced players also placed in the team to handle the tough situation of the game. The coach of the Arsenal playing huge impacts in the team spirit and winning strategy of the team. The mentality of the coach and player should in the same manner to win the game. The coach should trigger the player to handle the tough situation and how to win at the last minute game. The potential of the players was totally depend on the team coach.
I don't remember Arsenal having any good success in the Champions League. Almost 20 years ago they played in the final against Barcelona and lost. Then a few years ago they played in the Europa League final against Chelsea and lost too. The younger the squad, the less experienced they are. So it seems to me that they will fail again this season.
Well  I suppose I get your point and I also feel the same way for the gunners moreover their Europa league participation last season shows that they are really amateur when it's comes to participating with Europe top teams as they are basically knock out by a sporting CP team everyone taught will be an easy game for them. Last season performance was one of their very best now for more than a decade but it wasn't when it came to their European competition. I just hope they manage to put things in order and play well in this season champion league or group stage will be their last bus stop.
1877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Sweat coin. Is this real? on: August 04, 2023, 03:20:30 PM
So am not all that into airdrop but some of my guys have been disturbing like hell to take part saying of these airdrop do actually pay so I later let me send me some airdrop link and I tried this one particular one {sweat coin} but for some time I have not done anything with this but I do get lots of notification on my telegram. And I saw an interesting message which I said I should ask the community how real is it about the message sent to me by sweat coin.
Here is a sample
1878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: August 03, 2023, 09:00:16 PM
Well, I have never had a reason to gamble with a loan because the only time I do take out loan is when I am in dire need.
Sincerely, I wouldn't advice anyone to do such unless they have done so before and it was favourable or perhaps they have the trickery up their sleeve on how to turn a minus into a plus.

~snip~
^Indeed, gambling with borrowed money can be risky to any one of us, and it is good to exercise caution and restraint.
Your concern about individuals who repeatedly take loans for gambling reflects a thoughtful approach. Persistent reliance on loans for gambling could indeed indicate addictive behavior. Seeking help from a therapist or counselor can be a valuable step in addressing and overcoming such addictive tendencies. It not only helps the individual but also reduces the burden on their loved ones and society at large.
Encouraging discussions like this can raise awareness about the risks associated with gambling with borrowed money so that possible they know the outcomes.
Gambling with your own money is very high risk then not to talk of borrowed funds, well I have one simple logic which I follow and that's everyone has their way to follow and that's why I feel throwing all these advice is not necessarily needed because the worst set of person to actually take your advice will be the addicted person.

I have friends who just can't stop gambling and this has lead them to be obsessed with the habit that any Advice you give is just like void noise in his ears so I just tell straight that experience is actually the best teacher.
1879  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin vs other Altcoins on: August 03, 2023, 08:42:17 PM
The rate at which other altcoins are competiting with btc even when Bitcoin is the most reliable cryptocurrency in the market but though considering how far the price has gone, so many investors prefer other smaller altcoins to invest because of scared to lose money, so they prefer a good potential and chipper coins rather than investing on Bitcoin, with the current price of btc investors that has a laser amounts of money will be scared to invest because any slightest negative move affects the capital, take for instance you have $3k for investment and let say btc price is at $30k would you invest knowing that any negative moves affects your capital deeply?, though the market will surely bounce back but the level of profit will be very small but in times of other altcoins that has a low price should be more profitable were as any fluctuation will not seriously affect your capital.

I no that Bitcoin is the master of all coins and other coins can fail but btc can never failed, but majority of people are going for more smaller coins.

I'm not an investment adviser that will tell you what coins to invest I only stated my observation why most people consider smaller altcoins rather than btc but I may also be wrong with my observation so please share your views I'm here to learn.
You know the problem be say everybody get choice because life na all about risking it all and that's why so many people prefer these altcoins because their level of pumping when it comes to bull is way faster and bigger looking at their price market cap. But the issue like you have already stated is that the risk involved is just two much as some of these coins might just die off resulting to you losing all your assets.
1880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When it's all set and done, do not forget those in need. on: August 03, 2023, 08:36:39 PM
I can give some OP but I have to reward myself for working hard before them. Because people will remain poor if they don't work hard and find ways, in fact, I can see some disabled people working but why these healthy people can't do it? Perhaps they are lazy and what they did are just asking for help and relying on the government which I think they don't deserve help. I'd instead help deserving people but of course, we never have to treat them like we are giving them all they wanted.
I understand the whole context on the OP thread about taking from here and giving and all that shit. Life is a battlefield and yes I know it's good to help but in course of helping I do inquire on the situation of the person asking for help some folks I know around you just like taking from you.
And also I pick up one line in your thread about Bitcoin actually losing its volatility someday and I don't know how possible is this because Bitcoin itself is base on volatility and this major has contributed to much of its fame today.
