Cant say Im surprised or anything, but one little thing to have in mind before u accept the current course of actions as given: what exactly is being taken over? Code base site, acceptance, community driven online services or what? Its doomed, what to take over. Its over, this is my take.

Yesterday buying today selling. I live the living life off altcoin fluctuations. Wait. I gained nothing on this one. Heck Im just wasting a precise time of mine on day trades and still, cant cap it all. Babysitting boring trades is like putting ur head in the mid point of a moving pendulum. U get hit every time u sway to the either side, microscopic trades is a filthy day waste and should be monetary charged to prevent dumb things from happening. If anyone, in reply to this post, tells me he been holding on yearly basis, I will hit them with my smelly sandals. Lisk must move up or down or else I will lose interest to living.

Yes yes it has never been greater than now. The question is why would people stake and show support to ur accomplishments when I seed doubts about the gloomy future being that this coin is not prone to success and wont have glory times. Sure people will listen to me. Cryptobank might close in january (monero pump will expel numerous companies from their places). And not only companies. All alts will fall. Not sure maybe somebody has encouraging prognosis for this coin for the next year. I would not expect this coin will last more than a months. |

Will tank much lower than it is now. I would pick an alien invasion as an event with higher probability of occurrence than a possible recovery of this coin on bittrex or wherever its listed. |

I still think he hasnt got enough technical savvy to do a paper. This tech is one of the most promising technologies being worked on in telecommunications and computer networks as of now. Sadly, its not gonna go along with the draft proposed in the OP and dev's commitment to it. |

Most of the shit coins you see are just copy/paste coins that some kids are pumping and hoping to earn a few bucks on unfortunate guys that invest in their scam coins. YoBit is exchange that adds a lot of that shit stuff so just don't look there if you don't really know how to differentiate them from potentially good ones or if you are new to altcoins overall.
Agree. The great majority of alt coins are just BTC clones, and some of them are even cloned from ETH, with a few only providing promising technology and good development team. If you take a good look at what's happening in crypto land right now, there have been a great number of ICOs emerging almost every day. But, it is up to debate whenever these projects may truly deliver as promised in their ICOs. That is why, if considering to invest into a new altcoin, you should first make a research about its community, development team behind it, number of premined coins, among other factors before regretting losing all your money at once. In my case, those new altcoins that look promising, I try to invest the minimum amount possible, as if the coin then gets dumped, I wouldn't have loss to much money. Just my opinion.  Sticking with bitcoin is the best thing to do for now. And If you want to get into Alt coins, I think it is best to go with the top 10 or top 5 coins based on market capitalization. The term capitalization means as much as pimps promise to fund a hawaii trip for his most meisterhaft whore. Nothing. Combined altcoin capitalization pumps to the skies with 0.01% of bitcoin supply. It can pump infinitely with an ease of drunkard's thumbnail cracking a beer bottle. Plot an altcoin index based on any given altcoin capitalization and u will see that a bunch of senior alts from poloniex graveyard can in theory outperform bitcoin and its killer multibillion cap. The least valuable and forgotten coins pump insanely with just few hundreds of btc despite holding no promise to future utility, and can outpace bitcoin many times just like eth did in february. This means that the lesser the audience involved with the coin the higher the chance the irrational growth will have a little to no backing. Now imagine 50 thinned coins outreach bitcoins cap by 100 fold, together representing a capitalization of 1.2 trillion. News sites rail a huge hype to this ever-spreading madness of altcoin pumps and everyone who invested in bitcoin and was lucky to dump in time starts buying into them cause if he/she misses out on the rise he/she will have a weak knee issue till the end of their life. And in the end of the day alts will remain the vaporware they had been since long before the massive pump started coz altcoin index is a zero-sum game against btc market. Nobody will notice the difference in bitcoin price when money flows back to btc, but altcoin trillion cap will collapse sending alts back to the stone age regardless of how high they had been pumped. |
