1861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: October 18, 2022, 08:32:53 AM
Is KYC verification very important to crypto gambling websites or this has something to do with their regulations rule? Where can one gamble with zero verification requirements?

In crypto casinos (except the ones where KYC is mandatory) it's not so important if you don't gamble with huge capital. I play in several casinos for years without any verifications, you only need a mail and google authenticator, in some casinos you need it for withdrawing.

Maybe there are crypto casinos with zero KYC tolerance, but I am not sure about that. In ToS you will always find "Casino reserves the right to ask for additional info if they suspect you are involved in something shady"! As a fair player, without some big deposits/withdrawals, not even one casino asked me for additional verification... I play in casinos you can find on this forum, these casinos have their ANN threads so you can check them by yourself.
1862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the best time to buy Old Coin? on: October 17, 2022, 05:16:35 PM
The best time to buy is when we think the price is on the floor, and according to the advice of many experts that now is the best time to buy old coins such as ETH, Waves, Litecoin and so on, I'm sure the market trend is immediately rising so we immediately get a profit if we buy now.
this time the price was still on the floor and i guess this must become the best time to buy more tokens rather than waiting for that to go up again. I meant we must also aware with the fact that if these days people are always feeling worry to buy more tokens while the price was still at the bottom. It seems like that market will be going to be bullish again as soon as possible. I have expected a huge recovery for that.

I think this and the next year will be tricky for crypto, the prices as we see them now can drop more... or maybe this is the bottom! Anyway, if we talk about Bitcoin, there's some feeling around that in the next bull run we will see BTC crossing 6 digits prices! So is there a big difference if we buy now or for a thousand or two less?!
It's important when you get in, but it's even more important how long are you ready to wait...
1863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be influenced by your favourite celebrity? on: October 17, 2022, 01:44:30 PM
...

He is really using "real money"?
He is also a partner of that casino, maybe there is some agreement for showing such bets on a public audience?
I mean, generally speaking, we have any/real proof he is using money from his pocket ?
Make a bet with more half million of dollars seems a big amount even for a celebrity like him... it's around 1% of his "yearly" (gross) salary... just in one bet...

Quote
Many bettors now believe that the money Drake gambles on the site is in fact deposited by Stake itself. Some claim he can make such high-risk bets because he is not risking his own money.
Whether or not this is true is yet to be discovered; however, with a net worth of a quarter of a billion, it’s not unreasonable to think he has the bankroll to fund such outrageous betting habits.

Drake’s Stakes: The Canadian Rapper Who Wagered Over $1 Billion In 2 Months

Also interesting, from the same article:

Quote
Total Wins: CA$81.1 million ($62.4 million)
👎 Total Losses: CA$34.6 million ($26.8 million)

I'm not sure what to believe, it's not impossible that Drake is a compulsive gambler who raises the stakes over time, and he's definitely rich enough to afford something like that. On the other hand:

Quote
Some of his biggest successes occurred during live-streamed events as part of his partnership with Stake. In fact, a single spin on a live roulette table saw him win over $17 million in May.

Is this just an advertisement, or does he want to show how he is the biggest gambler ever and just goes crazy when he streams and front of the audience? I really don't know, maybe one day we will know more about that... I would say 50/50 at the moment, both can be true.

1864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be influenced by your favourite celebrity? on: October 17, 2022, 08:19:10 AM

Look at that bet! I guess just looking at the size of this bet makes you feel like "this guy sure knows what he's doing"! But Drake also loses a lot on his sports bet, as we could see in the past... so I guess Drake is not a good tipster, but he has enough money to bet, again and again, each time with higher bets or higher odds, and in some moment he recovers. Anyway, Drake also plays other games, we can say that he is a real degen, Highroller degen!

This time he was unlucky, and all the people who decided to follow him... Well, I wish them more luck next time.
1865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: October 17, 2022, 05:22:38 AM
~snip~
Based on this announcement, Twitch will update their policy on 18th October. They aren't going to allow the streaming of casino games. They have also mentioned the name of some casinos in the announcement, Stake is one of them. But Stake has announced that Drake will stream the casino games of Stake on his Twitch account on 17th October 1 AM GMT.

Drake vs Stake - Round 3
Drake is back on Stake this Sunday, live streaming insane high roller live casino betting!
Sunday 9pm EDT (Monday 1am GMT) on Twitch @ twitch.tv/StakeDrake
Drake will be giving away another $1,000,000! To enter the chance to win, ~~

Seems like Stake.com is trying to take the benefit of the current policy of Twitch to make their last stream there. I'm wondering what Twitch team will do during the stream of tomorrow Tongue

I also saw this announcement a few days ago, the last streaming... I didn't watch it, 1 am is pretty late for me! I was wondering if they were going to announce the next streaming place, did something like that happen? Was it DLive? And one more thing I'm interested in, did they force the story about the next place?

I guess Drake is really rich, but some casinos had pretty young streamers gambling with millions like crazy... with $10k bets and higher, buying bonus rounds with 6 digits numbers. And before they lose everything they "magically" get lucky and recover with a nice profit on top! I think that casinos will not quit this kind of marketing, the only question is where will they move after tomorrow?
1866  Economy / Gambling / Re: Regulations & Gambling projects on: October 16, 2022, 04:16:20 PM
Actually, as a user, we can't really feel much of this regulation except for the KYC part. But we don't have to worry as in most cases, KYC is just for big whales. That might be annoying for these big players but for us average players, nothing to worry about as long as we are not doing something unusual.

The problem is we don't really know how these gambling websites handle our private informations because even if we don't do anything suspicious, they can still be use on illegal activities once it's in the hand of criminals. Even if they are reputable in this forum, we can't guarantee that our credentials are safe. Do we know if their database of our information is safe from hackers? Are our information not being sold yet on the black market? Things like these are what scares many people about this gambling regulation.

That's actually the reason why most gamblers doubt and fear the KYC. One of the reasons why gamblers would want to avoid KYC is to protect their personal data and information but if we really want to continue our gambling journey, we still have no choice but to comply with it. We have to take the risk if we want to continue playing. The best thing that we can do is just to trust a reputable casino site of our choice will protect our personal information.

There are enough reasons for doubt in KYC, and that doubt started before crypto... Crypto can/could solve that, but some people still think that governments are creating regulations "for our sake". I am not sure how many crypto casinos have accusations (proven or not) of doing suspicious stuff with player's info, but there's a nice list of data breaches around the world: List of data breaches! As we can see these things simply happen, even with the biggest names... poor security, hacks, lost or stolen media, and even "accidental publishing"! So KYC is simply not good... nobody can give any guarantee that your info will stay safe, in crypto or anywhere else!
1867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: October 16, 2022, 02:38:27 PM
I dont think Qatar can make a surprise . They are really bad honestly from what i seen and i dont think they can even get one points inside their group. The only chance how they can surprise someone is if they park the bus and try to defend the entire time and maybe attack with a counter attack.

Maybe, but we will never know what will happen when the match is played. because after all, they are the hosts of this world cup.  they benefited a little from playing in front of their own public, the moral support from the local audience would really help them even though it wouldn't have much impact on their game.
Qatar vs Ecuador, became the opening match of this world cup show. and if we look at the rankings between these two squads, they are not far apart, Qatar has 50th and Ecuador has 44th. meaning, Qatar has a chance to win the game and conquer Ecuador.  however, so far Ecuador has more experience in the world cup event than Qatar.

well, let's just enjoy the show later.

Ecuador is the favorite by some bookies, I also think it's because Qatar lacks experience... and I definitely agree that we can't underestimate the host nation, support from the local audience is like the 12th player! And the last time they played 4 years ago Qatar won. So this will be an interesting opening, I guess both desperately need 3 points if they wish to have some chances for advancing, and this is the game when they can get 3 points! In later games against Netherlands and Senegal, both of these teams will have troubles.
1868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Survey] Do you still play or stop the game? on: October 16, 2022, 05:06:14 AM
The choice is always been on your mood or preference for that playing session, sometimes you got the urge to continue you are in the hype and you believe you can win more, it's the dopamine that urges you to bet more for more rewards, and sometimes you need to take a break and withdraw the money to chill up if you're coming from a series of loss in your recent sessions, stopping and enjoy your winning is more preferable and will give you a breather for a fresh start in your next session.

I voted "idk" because I agree that mood at that moment is important, I wouldn't call it an urge, simply it was a nice start and if I planned to gamble that night I will probably continue playing, of course, I would jump to another game most likely. But I had moments when I am in a hurry and after a few spins, I get a bonus and a nice payout! I just close the browser, and I am thinking that I have a nice balance starting balance for later. Probably it's how we degens feel about it.

Thank you for sending us an email about promotions, I was pleasantly surprised when I clicked on another banner from the promo and got one free spin of the wheel of luck and got 50 RP, I just didn't pay attention to it before. Smiley

Woo, I am surprised you did not know this before? I am not sure when did you enroll on the freebitcoin but WOF is available to every user irrespective of their status like premium or regular users. You should then see your mail box everyday because they will send you 1 free spin every 24 hours and you can play with captcha. That's the beauty of freebitcoin and that's the achievement of this website, they always keep giving us free stuff all the time.

Now imagine you have lost more than 365 free spins and opportunity to win lots of free stuff (RP's, Sats, Lottery tickets and GT's).

I have starred the freebitcoin messages and never miss single one on daily basis. I'm habitual to it. Fun!

Well, results from +365 spins, pretty balanced:

The Lambo draw is close, just 14h more, I thought I will get a few more Golden tickets but I didn't have luck this time. I guess 6 tickets are not much but as PawGo already wrote "Do not forget you need only 1 lucky ticket ;-)"!

Good luck all! I would like someone from here to drive that Lamburgini home! Smiley
1870  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you visit the casino while travelling? on: October 15, 2022, 08:41:00 AM
Before crypto yes, but in the past years no. Before it was nice to visit some casinos in some new towns, I usually played roulette and blackjack. But since I am in crypto I always have my laptop with me, so if I gamble I do it from my room. It's like that with kids, little kids... Spending the entire day with them, and they still don't sleep the entire night, both wake up at some moments, there's no point in thinking about visiting some casino. One day when the kids grow I will have more free time, but for now, I just wish to have a peaceful evening with some drinks and my laptop.
1871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: October 14, 2022, 11:27:15 AM
OWL prices have continued to fall to this day since the thread was created by the OP, no crypto or any token has survived the ferocious bear market, tokens from gambling sites are not profitable in my opinion, because there are some gambling sites that eventually abandon their tokens and become worthless

In a bear market where it is becoming difficult for solid top coins to survive, it is conceivable that such tokens will continue to be dumped. Gambling tokens have yet to make the impact in the market that big investors would be interested in investing in. These tokens cannot make any impact until they are listed on the big exchanges. And on the other hand, the big exchanges will not be too keen to list these tokens as gambling is involved.
gambling token only survive if its gambling platform survive , demand come from its user and actually when it dumped user should buy it for cheap price. they used it as regular usage  when gamble, so why should affraid with it. if we understand , gambling token was not for investment portofolio , so when ever it down or rise it have no influence to gamblers, except they hold it and hope could be another top cryptocurrencies. owl , moonbet could be example on how it dumped, as long as gambling platform user  needed they will buy it no matter in bearish trend.

If you hold and stake some casino tokens you get daily payouts. If the price of a token fell down pretty hard it can be interesting for purchasing, more staked tokens = higher payouts! As I said before, investing in casino tokens will get you some amount of tokens, but with the same amount of money, you can try to wager in the casino and "earn" a lot more tokens. Of course, always have in mind it's gambling, you can also get busted if you are unlucky or you don't know how to wager not to chase for profit!
1872  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading on: October 14, 2022, 07:24:32 AM
trading on a daily basis is actually very good to do in futures trading, because we can adjust the volume and level of profit,
If you are not a professional yet, avoid future trading, I know their is money in future trading which always push people into it, but you can lose all your money just within few minutes, you can easily get liquidated that's why I don't really advice people to trade futures. If you are in sport trading, if a coin dumps it will definitely recover if you can hold it, most expecially if you are trading bitcoin, but in future trading, when the price gets to liquidation price, you will be liquidated and all your funds are gone. We shouldn't always think about the high profits alone, but we should also think about the risk. I always advice newbies to avoid future trading or they might endup losing all their start up capital.

There's money in future trading like we can say there's money in gambling... but that comes with a catch. You really need to know what you are doing to make some profit because at the end of the day majority of people are losing just a handful of people actually make a profit. Day, future, and leverage trading are for experienced people, and even they are not in the green all the time. From my experience, it's hard to make money there if you are not 101% in trading and you don't have enough capital and time for that!
1873  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cashback VS Bonus on: October 13, 2022, 07:43:19 PM
I don't think it makes any difference in your situation. The goal is the same for both options (cashback or bonus): you can play longer.

Cashback pays off especially if you invest very large/larger sums and lose them (although I honestly can't imagine a casino doing that at all). With small sums, of course, this advantage disappears and even a cashback would be so little in your situation that you would most likely continue playing with it.

Cashback pays off especially if you follow promotions... in some casinos, there are days when "cashback" is higher, a lot higher, for playing some specific games.

I don't think we can compare "cashback" with "bonuses" in the first place... simply "cashback" is when you get some % of the amount you lost after your gambling session, and the bonus money is money you get when you deposit. Some casinos offer bonuses, but when you play with that "bonus money" there are rules, you are not eligible for other promotions for example. From my experience, there's always some catch with bonus money, there's no free money! While cashback is what you get when you are playing with your own money, % what you will get depend from site to site and your rank!

1874  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|BFG on LATOKEN|🚀Stake & Earn $BFG on BabySwap on: October 13, 2022, 05:17:46 PM
I cant answer what is generally good from being traded on Binance.

3 pages about listing on Binance, and speculations about it... nobody talks about the site itself, and without the site, there's no token. Smiley

Generally, people wish for listing just because they think it will raise the price of the coin/token they hold. They don't think about using it, or what that coin/token can do... and Binance can list some coins/tokens, but they can delist them too.

We will not get higher payouts if BFG gets listed on any exchange, for getting higher daily payouts we need to stake more BFG tokens... simple as that.

By the way, that in-house game "Triple" is just crazy! Smiley
1875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Parents And Their Children In Gambling.. on: October 13, 2022, 01:15:28 PM
Well, we can't compete with the Jordan family in the end! What is $5M for older Jordan? A few days on some yacht? Or $50k for his son? I guess nothing... people just have fun with what they can afford to lose!

Yes, Jordans can afford spending huge amounts of money on gambling, alcohol and stuff, but what's really interesting is that they are not doing it. The cases described by the OP were nearly the only such cases in their life.

Anyone can go off the rails at one point of his/her life, but what's important is to have this strength which can help you to return back to normal. Imo, Michael Jordan is a good father, who illustrated by his own example how to not become a gambling addict.

Well, I wouldn't call it "going off the rails either"! It's just fun! But fun for people with money (or lots of money (multimillionaires or billionaires)) and people without money is not the same. I guess there's no cap when it comes to how much money can spend a group of friends for a weekend in Vegas, starting from booking the presidential suite or shity room in some motel to playing games with $1 min blind or $10k min blind... and then everything that can come between. Smiley
Some people can repeat this trip often, and some a few times per year... But most people can only dream about it!

A bit off-topic, but it's Vegas. I watched a show some time ago:

Quote
The chef recently visited Burger Brasserie in Las Vegas as part of his show Gordon Ramsay's American Road Trip where he and friends Gino D'Acampo and Fred Sirieix tried out a burger that will cost you $777.
1876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Wallet for Storing Altcoins? on: October 13, 2022, 07:26:36 AM
What do you use with pancakeswap?  Do you use metamask with it only?  Is that all you need?  Do you link your nano ledger to the metamask?

Metamask works fine with just the extension or mobile wallet. A hardware wallet isn't necessary unless you need the extra security.

I agree with you, a hardware wallet is for people who wish for extra security, and when someone has a nice stash of coins buying a hardware wallet shouldn't be a big deal!

Binance wallet is also nice, I use it mainly for some services and I always have some coins there, never lets me down, and always works well without problems. Except for these extensions I like Atomic wallet, one of the first multi-coin wallets with staking feature, and they have their token as well. A pretty old project that is working fine for years.
1877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What contests do you want to see on the Dice platform? on: October 12, 2022, 02:32:20 PM
Look at other casinos and their daily/weekly wagering wars, some casinos have nice prizes for that. Other than that contests like "hit the specific number, the highest win, the same number in a row" is happening throughout the day, usually, admins start it and it lasts 20 minutes... more or less. Of course, with some symbolic prizes.

Well, I am looking forward to seeing that auto betting and your setting...

This week will be the finished integration of the automated bidding feature and we have been thinking about contests in this forum. T

Bidding or betting? Smiley

I saw that there is no auto-betting option yet... I love auto-betting, and can't wait to see what you are up to. Hopefully something a little more complex, with more options.
1878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 12, 2022, 06:22:18 AM
Literally disaster for Juventus yesterday. Israeli didn't have win in last 20 years at champions league and they won. I was expecting at least draw from Juventus. They missed Di Maria in match after his injury yet they really made it very hard to go 2nd round in champions league. I think they will probably replace manager. Juventus can't be like some middle rank Italian team, its results are terrible and they need fix as soon as possible.

With only 1 win and 3 losses, Juve lost any chance to stay in CL. I didn't expect them to lose, and for sure I didn't expect they will lose without even scoring a goal against Haifa... There's some problem with Italian clubs that started last season, it seems they can't do much. Milan lost against Chealse once again, in two games they couldn't even score a goal. I guess that early red card wasn't fair, Tomori was sent off for pulling back Mason, but that wasn't some "real pull" after I saw slow motion from different angles.

Well, today Napoli is playing against Ajax and Inter is going to Barcelona... Napoli is playing very nice with all 3 wins in CL, but Ajax desperately needs points if they wish to stay in the race. I guess it will be a lot harder for Inter... Bayern is definitely first, but that second place is for Inter or Barca, so I expect a very tough game tonight!
1879  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cashback VS Bonus on: October 11, 2022, 04:12:02 PM
As a gambler myself, I sometimes get confused about the difference between cashback and Rakeback. According to what I know and understand, you get cashback when you bet on games that a gambling platform has. Of course, if you don't play there is no cashback and Rakeback.

But anyway, what exactly is the difference between cashback and Rakeback, we're just here and we can talk about it on the topic OP made so that I can also know clearly, thanks to those who will answer.

Cashback is cash you get back for the money you lost playing... of course, when you win you don't have "cashback"! Smiley Rakeback is cash you get for total wagering, at Betfury: Rakeback = Wagers x 1% x Rank coefficient...
I guess I need to mention that cashback and rakeback depend on your rank, a higher rank means more %. I choose Betfury because there's a display on their main page in the upper right corner:

You can also get more info there about cashback here, for rakeback you need to open "rakeback" window and than go to "more details"!

Now most casinos have both, Betfury made it easy by having both on the main page and it's easy to navigate, you simply see them right there and we just need to click them, in other casinos you need to open a profile page, and look for them... or if it's easier for you ask some mod in the chat, he will tell you where to find what you need.

At 500 Casino, we have plinko battles so you could go against other players rather than watching the balls drop alone Grin

Very interesting. Considering that many casino games only provide plinko games to see for yourself, while on this site we can see many players. Really useful information for anyone, both users and innovations for other casinos.

I agree it's interesting to see this kind of Plinko, looks exciting, I don't remember I played multiplayer Plinko before! Definitely worth trying... especially that "Plinko battle"
