On my DSL connection, if my ip gets changed (usually pppoe reset), the connection count will drop to 8. Probably has something to do with the client not updating its external IP. The only real solution is to prevent your internet from dropping out. If you think your ISP is blocking bitcoin, an external port scan on TCP 8333 should tell if it's really the case.

search coin control Thanks! Side question, how do you keep the debug log file from growing to 5 gigs of size? Fucking annoying, as if the blockchain isn't big enough. even with timestamps, my debug files are only ~30 mb. Plus bitcoin trims them on start up by default. You probably have extra debugging stuff enabled in bitcoin.conf.

Why would you ask on a forum? There are very strong incentives for for other miners to mislead you. Competing miners using different hardware will want you to waste money on Avalon, whereas Avalon miners will want you to refund (so they have less competition).

fingers are NOT good for measuring chip temperatures. CPUs and GPUs can run well into 70s without any damage. Wikipedia states: At temperatures greater than 44 °C (111 °F), proteins begin losing their three-dimensional shape and start breaking down.[33] This results in cell and tissue damage So don't get worried if it's too hot to touch. It doesn't necessarily mean it's hot to operate.

2,4-D based herbicides (brand names "Weed B Gon MAX", "PAR III", "Trillion", "Tri-Kil", "Killex" and "Weedaway Premium 3-Way XP Turf Herbicide") are banned in Ontario. Canadian Tire has a 1L concentrate bottle for $20. If you live in a province where it isn't banned, I'm willing to pay a premium for you to purchase and ship it to me. PM me if interested. I strongly recommend Canadian residents only, because international shipments may be inspected by customs.

So for all of you miners out there, would my orders on average get processed faster?
orders? you mean "transactions"? And yes, it would be processed faster, as fees are taken into account for priority calculations. Just don't expect speedy confirmation with 0.0005 BTC fee.

There was no qt version 0.3.25.1-beta
There is however, a wxwidget version for 0.3.x. If by "qt" you mean "GUI", that would be the one you're looking for.

Are your cards overclocked? A stable OC for mining is not necessarily stable for gaming.

The plaintiffs, Kevin Gallette, Jackson Smith and Roy Han, allege that the bitcoin-mining malware required so much of their computers' processing power that it damaged their video cards Impossible. Bitcoin mining produces less heat than normal gaming. Unless the card are inadequately cooled, bitcoin mining can not cause damage.

Do you understand that before they get mined (which is usually never), or you restart your node, you keep them in your system memory? There is definitely enough small outputs out there to increase your memory pool size to X GB - where X is how someone bothers and has enough outputs to spend on making spam transactions. And why is someone still sending small amounts to this horse something address? It looks like a part of a bigger plan. I wonder how it will go. Everybody knows the key to these outputs, so we will all be able to spam the network - what a great world to live in oh noes, 100kb of your memory is used! unless you're running on a raspberry pi, it's hardly an issue. If you don't want that much "spam", set your relay policy to higher fees. Also, let's (for sake of argument), assume that a spammer is creating these transactions. He's paying $1 to "spam" 0.1 MB. Not exactly cheap.

there is no reliable to determine what fees the client will use. patches are welcome, but the preferred solution is to set the tx fee to 0.0001 BTC by default, and deduct that from your customer.

Bad idea. As you generate more blocks, more keys are taken out of the keypool. Eventually, one clone will have to generate a new address. At that point, the two wallets won't be synchronized. You still have access to all your coins, but now you'll need to backup those newly generated keys.

I have a question, how exactly does provably fair work? I've wondered for a while, and how can I verify if it is provably fair?
If you did some searching, you would know that provably fair works by publishing the hash of a secret before a game. After the game, the secret is released and can be compared to the result. Publishing the hash of the secret prevents the operator from changing the secret and by extension, the result of the game. It would be awesome if there was some sort of plugin for Chrome/Firefox that would automatically check if it was provably fair.
no one bothers to make it

nothing about the address on google.. you can not even get there with street view. sounds like a scam to me
How does not being on street view mean anything? If you check the surrounding area, the street view coverage is spotty too. What is suspicious is that I can't find ANY solar farms nearby on satellite view. fontera, can you produce the coordinates of where your solar farm is?

You do realize that those 99kb transactions need a shitload of fees to be accepted right? So it's not possible to spam for free, at least. And they are removed the moment the transaction is confirmed, or whenever bitcoind restarts.
