I have been thinking to buy some Sol. Long ago when the price was over $250 I bought some to buy NFTs but now when I look at the price I feel suck LOL. Since I am following this currency with the hope that I will be able to buy in deep to cover some loss, when would you guys suggest (who have some trading idea) to buy some SOL.

@OP, sorry for off topic to start.
It was boring to see all sorts of casino and gambling sites are launching every day with the same games, same sports offering. Seeing a different arrangement is always exciting. Let's hope you get popularity over the time.

May I ask what's the meaning of this? We can only withdraw our winning amount and would charge us if we withdraw our deposit money? Seems confusing.
Quote
You should remember that you can only withdraw your winning amount only. If you want your deposited amount withdrawn, then are nominal charges for on withdrawal amount subject to platform.
I am assuming it's to prevent their site to be used as mixer. Some sorts of wagering condition.

Crypto Confidence Soars After CEO Defrauds Customers Just Like Real Bank

https://www.theonion.com/crypto-confidence-soars-after-ceo-defrauds-customers-ju-1849773647
All sorts of crime is happening using fiat and that does not soars fiat confidence. Crypto is just a currency, a system of money that should be generally accepted to have value of exchange for goods and services. The difference between fiat and crypto is, fiat is printed by a group of fat fingers power seeker filthy rich powerful people and crypto are created by people like you and me to level the field for a better economy system.

These CEOs were never in crypto. They were after dollar.

I see you woke up after a long time and suddenly started asking so many questions (in new topics) as if you were not existed in the forum. What happened in between?
It's been a long time. What happened in between is a lot to write. You can read it in my autobiography if I ever write one Smiley Just joking. I have some free time for a few hours or more per week now. I want to be involved in a community again and I used to enjoy this one. Truth be told, there is an incentive to be on this community over others as maybe one day I can be a part of a signature campaign and this few hours of spare time per week can be a rewarding hobby. This is definitely not my motive, but it is an incentive. Why I am posting so much is just because now is one of those times where I have a few hours and decided to go online. I just post what is on my mind as I read new topics.
Welcome back.

Here's some evidence of no censorship and a thick-skinned Admin:
FUCK YOU to Theymos
If bitcointalk was censoring voices then all these scam sites, ICOs were censored before anything else. Just think once when Ethereum ICO was proposed and it was stopped by the forum then we would not see the ICO season LOL

Let's cut it short, @BenCodie, have you ever felt you were censored in the forum?
1864  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you think that there will ever be an effort to boycott centralized exchanges? on: December 28, 2022, 05:36:59 AM
Saying by using CEXs it helps bitcoin to be massively adopted is a joke. The currencucy has been designed without the need to a 3rd party and centralized. The only thing it does is to confirm the governments needs to regulate the market
Bitcoin and the entire crypto economy is far away for the real adoption. In my opinion the real adoption will only be achieved when there will be only crypto exists for your daily life trades. These days we have fiat as digital forms by paypal, visa/debit/credit cards and other digital wallets. When you are buying a bottle of water you are paying by either cash, or by card. When you are buying something online you are paying either by paypal, or visa debit or credit card. It's common for everyone. Only a very small group of people are trying to find alternatives and people like you and me and us are using crypto whenever we have chance to pay for something.

Real adoption will be when these small group of people will become the common people. Right now these centralized exchanges are just helping us to be in crypto and play with it only.

So now we can fairly say that, the server will know all addresses of an HD wallet will be know from the IP log or TOR circuit exit node information. No?
I'm not sure if I am correctly interpreting your question, but I think what you are saying is correct.

If your HD wallet software is connecting to a third party server in order to function (i.e. any wallet which is not running exclusively from your own node), then that software will query that third party server for the balance and transaction history of every address in your wallet. The third party server will then see a bunch of requests for different addresses all showing up at once from the same IP address, and can therefore be almost certain that all those addresses belong to the same wallet and are owned by the same person. If you are using Tor, the third party will see your Tor exit node's IP address; if you are not using Tor (or some other service such as a VPN) the third party will see your IP address.

If you then open a different wallet using the same software and query the same third party server, then that server will again see a bunch of requests for different addresses all showing up at once from the same IP address as before (whether that is a Tor IP address or your own IP address). It is possible then for the third party to link this second wallet to the first wallet by nature of the same IP address.

You can improve on this second problem somewhat by using a different Tor circuit and different third party server for each of your wallets. However, to completely mitigate both problems, then you must have your wallet software collect data exclusively from your own node.
You and me is coming from the same logic.

If I may clarify with you both - wrapped tokens that enable utility and are sufficiently liquid are still by default classified as shitcoins here?
Yes, because they are not bitcoin. They are some digits against bitcoin and running in a different chain.

I was hoping much on Brentford vs Tottenham match as my first exact score this gameweek with score 2-3. I literally spilled my drink when Kane headed the ball onto the bar lol. I mean, it would be an epic comeback if he scored. Wrong pick obviously in the end
I did not watch Tottenham match but 2 - 3 was really close for you to get another correct score. You already have 4 right now.

Quote
and had unlucky strikes on the next 3 games. Fortunately I hit exact scores in the last 3 games last night. Really need more than just a luck to be consistent during tournament
You are having a good run with Aviruns for the round. This gif is cool!

I think it was the same for me for the first 3 games. Started bad then was able to pick 3 exact guesses so far. Hopefully City will give a good result too. I already locked my pick and know who has what picks LOL.

The final goal tucked my exact score, I went with a 2-1 forecast and was almost there. Given the poor performance of the other pool participants yesterday, 7 points is not a bad start.
Don't regret for one or two matches. From the years of playing the pool I know to be in a good position after end of the season you need to be as consistent as City 😂. What I mean is, if you are able to score decent every round and don't mess up too bad even in few rounds then top10 or even top5 is not that hard.

Since you don't know what you are doing half of the time why just not going to websites like this one freesupertips.com and put the tips that they put, sometimes they hit it really big although most of the times they don't do well and with that I just told you 30% of my secret  Grin.
Fu*k you! 😘
I never used such sites yet LOL. PM me!!!!
1867  Other / Meta / Re: Request: New Local Board for Pakistan (Urdu) on: December 28, 2022, 04:47:21 AM
Fail to understand the exact reason for delaying board creation???
You must be not a regular in forum related discussions or you would see admin usually takes time (long time) before implementing anything that is new or any request. I am sure he does his own research before agreeing with something and he manages his own time in it. In this particular case for the local board, they need patience. The proposal has been given already now wait few days, weeks, months or even years to get it approved.

We have to be patient; one lucky day we may get up and see our local board created.
Exactly, wake up and you will find the desired board.
1868  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk censorship discussion thread. on: December 27, 2022, 01:15:09 AM
Firstly, to see if it is censored. Secondly, to allow people to share if they believe they have been censored. Thirdly, to enable discussion of the topic.
We are talking about bitcointalk right?
It's been long years and I can not remember I ever felt anything was censored to me. There are people sometimes cries but it's more like some discrete noises from members who had their conflict of interest either with an individual member or with the admins they way the are managing the forum.

Why would people cry in this topic instead of having their own topics like you picked at the beginning?

I see you woke up after a long time and suddenly started asking so many questions (in new topics) as if you were not existed in the forum. What happened in between?
1869  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you think that there will ever be an effort to boycott centralized exchanges? on: December 27, 2022, 01:02:44 AM
I think that this is the only way to majorly effective way to remove exploitative profiteers from the market, stop exit scams and increase transparency of trading activity.
Don't forget these centralized exchanges allow people to easily buy and sell their crypto. P2P is just not that easy.

Quote
As new perpetual/margin trading options become available, like GMX and Dydx (which is unconvincingly completely decentralized, however a seemingly better option than CEXs), the possibility to boycott CEXs becomes more possible.
Centralized exchanges are fine but we need to understand that a monopoly business model is not good for anything. I see some exchanges are having large share of exchange industry which is obviously bad. They will start manipulating the crypto users very soon if they have not started yet.

Quote
Do you think an effective boycott campaign against CEXs could happen?
If you and me start avoiding it then it starts. But before that we need to ensure that there are enough decentralized exchanges available and accepted by the community.
1870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 26, 2022, 10:14:40 PM
I had them 2-0 but as soon as I saw them down 0-1 I immediately got to my favorite sportsbook which happen to be also the one I am wearing the signature and put a both teams to score bet with an odd 1.25,it was 25% sure profit like somebody giving you 25% out of your investment in just 1.5 hours.I am glad I did so as Arsenal truly crashed West Ham as expected and so far it is winning 3-1 so you got the perfect exact score which in a pool of so many people it can only boost your positions.Just a few minutes remaining so I hope you get that correct score.
I hope the stake was big enough to get maximum out of your investment. If I were gambling then I would easily put some money for both team to score too and either in Arsenal or draw double chance or draw no bet for Arsenal. I don't care anymore about gambling.

Arsenal finished with a 3 - 1 which means another 3 points for me LOL.
After the break I must say I had a good start. If first 3 matches were going as planned then I could have more points. Jayce got 3 exact scores and now leading the leader-board.
1871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 26, 2022, 09:10:50 PM
PREDICTION ARSENAL 3-1 WEST HAM
I have the same for the match although Arsenal is 0 - 1 down. I don't think West Ham will be able to hold it until the end. Either this will be a draw or Arsenal will win in their home ground. In recent time they have not lost a home match against West Ham.

No matter, 3 points and we steady the ship, and Salah adds to his tallies.
Good to have these 3 points. We now need to ensure the top 4 position.

I had a rough start but having a exact score in Liverpool match covered up some lose of points in the table. Hopefully Arsenal wins by a good margin too 😂

Nunez's performance made me appreciate Timo and Lukaku even more; he's had 16 chances to score this season and has missed 12 of them. Whoever convinced Liverpool to pay 100 million pounds for Nunez deserves an Oscar. Grin
He is failing to finish all the time. Although the assist for the last goal was amazing. If Nunez was scoring then we could have half a dozen of goals today.

When loading it at the same time or even in different time then the server may know based on the IP log or the circuit information.
Correct. So although it may only know the IP address of your Tor exit node and not your real IP address, it can still link all the addresses to each other.

Based on the IP of the broadcasted transaction or anything else like from the input address they can find the master public key and know all address of the HD wallet?
With using TOR connection, there is no way for the owner of the server to know your IP address at all. But they can know that the generated addresses belongs to the same person.
All my confusions were with the response from hosseinimr93. May be this is a misunderstanding. hosseinimr93 is talking about the clear net IP only and I thought he meant both clear net and Tor circuit information as IP.

So now we can fairly say that, the server will know all addresses of an HD wallet will be know from the IP log or TOR circuit exit node information. No?

seeing that there are a lot of adults watching it live in their stadium, I'd say, yeah.
Do you consider these people adults?
I think it's more like spending a day out with your children or with your girlfriend/wife and refresh your mind. I would love to have such a day out with my child if she wants. May be a day out with her and my wife to see the environment. But I will never buy a ticket for myself and spend a day for it where if that's football then I will be more than happy to go in the venue and support my team.

But if I extract the private keys of all 7 addresses and individually load one by one address then server will not have any knowledge that all 7 addresses were a part of the same HD wallet.
This would require you to connect to a different Electrum server via a different Tor circuit in between querying each and every address. Simply loading each address in a new wallet one by one, while connected to the same servers from the same IP, would result in the same situation I have described above, and the server being able to conclude that all addresses have a common owner.
That's what I was asking. The IP or the same tor circuit. When loading it at the same time or even in different time then the server may know based on the IP log or the circuit information.

Owner of the server will know about 7 addresses, they will not know anything about the 13 addresses.
That's not correct. The server owner will know about all 20 addresses. The only reason your Electrum client knows that the 13 empty addresses are empty is because it sends those 13 empty addresses to the server so the server can check if they have transaction history.
It brings me the next question.
What about I create an offline wallet. The all online nodes in other words the blockchain does not have my wallet information. I understand when I will send any BTC to any address of the offline wallet, I can not see them on my wallet since it isn't sync. On the blockchain I can see obviously. How the online existed blockchain already figured out the wallet address belongs to an offline wallet that is already created?
1877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Privacy wallets on: December 24, 2022, 02:33:53 PM
My question which perimeters will tell them the addresses belongs to the same person, if it's not the IP history or master public key? In a HD wallet I can not even tell two addresses are from the same wallet if the address formats are same.
Let's say you have created an HD wallet and have generated 20 addresses.
For getting the transaction history of these 20 addresses, electrum sends them to the server and the owner of the server will know that these 20 addresses belong to the same person.
Sorry I am old school and trying to understand part by part.
I have 20 addresses in my HD wallet.
5 addresses have balance with 5 incoming transactions.
2 addresses had balance but now empty because they were spent by 2 outgoing transactions.
5 and 2 means 7 addresses have transaction history but 13 addresses do not have any transaction history.

Owner of the server will know about 7 addresses, they will not know anything about the 13 addresses.
They will know these 7 addresses because all these 7 transactions will send a single at the same time to the server I guess. But if I extract the private keys of all 7 addresses and individually load one by one address then server will not have any knowledge that all 7 addresses were a part of the same HD wallet.

Please correct me where and which part I got wrong and where I got it correct.

I guess it's not that widespread due to its scripted nature. But, it's never known to viewer.
Do adult even watch Wrestling? It used to be a good entertainment when I was a teen. Ever since I realized all are staged, I lost interest. There was the era of The Rock, Tripple H, Kane, Undertaker and many.

[...]most people do not like to bet on sports where people fight each other[..]
For UFC there could be a good betting market size although there are no such figure found available online but I think few Casinos on the forum can give us some statistics. Sportsbet.io heavily promotes UFC. If it did not have a good market then they would not spend time for it.

~snip

We are 3 days away from the resumption of the EPL, it will be great to watch the matches and enjoy betting on them. Don't forget to set expectations

yeah, it is probably better to put prediction before weekend, and eventually polish them after, than forget to put them at all after weekend
I already had my picks but revised them a few hours ago. Hopefully Liverpool will restart with a win. We need to be at least in the top 4. Still 23 rounds left so we can hope to improve on the point table. It's hard to race with City but Arsenal and Newcastle will start straggling sooner and later. Premier league needs consistency. City is doing it from years.

From middle of the January Arsenal will start losing point according to my calculation. They have upcoming matches against Tottenham, Man U, City, Livepool. They will be tested soon. Very similar with Newcastle too but from the middle of February.
