1861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 20, 2023, 08:37:37 AM
But their performance has improved a bit after being in the UCL, they played well against their opponents. Manchester City will try to achieve success this season, I know it's not easy for Guardiola, the player material currently owned makes Manchester City still in the ranks of the favorite team.

Manchester City's next match is against Leipzig. Leipzig is a relatively weaker team compared to Manchester City. So the possibility of Leipzig being eliminated in the round of 16 is very low. Moreover, Manchester City is in very good form right now. I would say Manchester City, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid will be the favorites to win this season's Champions League.
Even in the Champions League, a club like Leipzig will feel motivated if the opponent is a strong club. However, it seems that Leipzig will not be easily beaten, they in the Bundesliga were able to draw Bayern Munich game so this will be quite interesting because Leipzig is not a weak club. Make no mistake that Man City may underestimate Leipzig, but we will see slightly different results this time in the Champions League.

And one more thing, in the Champions League for the 2021 season, they were able to beat Man City with a score of 2-1 in Group A phase.

I think that anyone shall take what happened with manchester city, city can even goes very close to the arsenal in a short time. As long as MU still maintains to perform so well in EPL and im sure that MU has probability to compete for EPL this season.
We didn't know what kind of surprise that will come at the end of season. Arsenal may also able to get another bad result like the previous matches once arsenal lose the match a few times.
That will give MU and city huge opportunity to compete for EPL. MU is still potentially to win EPL even though the club was just having small chance right now. At least MU under ten hag is always performing so well.
The 3 big clubs that are currently in their best performance in my opinion Arsenal, Man City or Man United both deserve to be one of the Premier League champions. Because this season is quite difficult for me to choose, plus Arteta's competitive rivalry, Pep Guardiola and Erik Ten Hag clearly make his squad considered a team to be feared at the moment. The three of them will continue to make the opponents they face in the eyes of Man City, Arsenal or Man United considered a stepping stone that will not be allowed to go unpunished.

Chelsea's defeat is a disappointing result and it’s a shame that with the recent big money signings the team is still losing matches. This should be the fourth game in a row that Chelsea under Graham Potter has recorded 2 draws and 2 defeats which is so bad for the team and not encouraging. I think the end is near for Potter as Chelsea manager.
This result has proven that Chelsea's expensive players are absolutely nothing. Since the purchase until now, Chelsea has been experiencing setbacks. Successive defeats followed and were unable to keep up with Southampton's game. Graham Potter's hopes were far from expectations when he arrived because after all Potter was the key to whether or not Chelsea failed this season. Their opponents are getting stronger and next against Tottenham with their current condition should be put to good use by Kane and friends.
1864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 19, 2023, 10:51:37 AM
Firstly I can't trust Liverpool's performance this season. Liverpool is now a team in disarray. Compared to them, the Real Madrid team is much more stable. Ancelotti is also a very experienced coach. He knows very well what strategy is required to play on a platform like the Champions League. And so whatever the odds in this match, I'll bet Real Madrid to win. I believe Madrid will not make any mistakes in the first leg. they will win.
The atmosphere of the Champions League is clearly very different from the EPL. So from that, it could be that Liverpool, who are currently still inconsistent in terms of performance, but I hope that by facing Real Madrid both of them will have a large enough influence so that in this match they can motivate Liverpool's players to be able to keep up with Real Madrid. I personally would not bet, or maybe take the draw option in this big fight.
1865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bahrainian Hotel accepts bitcoin Payment on: February 19, 2023, 10:27:05 AM
This is good for adoption but there's one downside; the users must create Binance accounts if they haven't already. So if you have your BTC in your Electrum wallet, for instance, you can't pay and you must first transfer them to your Binance account.
That's quite a big downside if you ask me and one of the worst crypto payment implementations I've seen lately. I thought that Binance is there just to exchange crypto to fiat and not to be an actual requirement in order to pay with crypto.
Because they are affiliated with Binance so I don't think this is official hotel adoption. Because basically, it is Binance that benefits by depositing Bitcoins to Binance. Users have no other wallet option than using an exchange, obviously this is not something the worldwide Bitcoin community should be proud of when visiting there and wanting to book a room. If I had visited there, maybe cash would have been better and not the hassle of handing over my Bitcoins to an exchange.
1866  Economy / Economics / Re: Lebanese depositors smash up, burn Beirut banks on: February 18, 2023, 01:14:20 PM
Cases like this have happened frequently in Lebanon, and they can never be resolved easily. Government conditions that are no longer under control, the loss of power has long resulted in Lebanon becoming a country that has the potential to experience economic collapse. What's more, the protesters only demanded that their accounts be opened and they could access the money. Without granted access and the corrupt bank there I don't know if they really don't have any more money in the safe this would still be bad. Such as the theft is increasing and the worst is chaos everywhere just to get food. Supermarkets are the most ideal places to hunt.
1867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Satoshi every created some sort of back door to alter BTC? on: February 18, 2023, 12:30:58 PM
I know that sounds appalling, but do you think that it is possible that he did that? If he did do that, what exactly could he/they have the ability to change with so many people constantly maintaining Bitcoin core? If something like that was ever a possibility could BTC core developers reverse any changes made or prevent? I guess I’m just curious how many security measures are set in place to prevent things like that from every happening. Could they prevent or reverse a 51% attack as well?
Maybe it's just content that can be set up in such a way. But the point is that without any knowledge of Bitcoin if I were in that position I would take the same choice of $100. The reason is quite simple we can use $100 immediately, have physical possession and even at school we have been taught about the value and use of this money. So I won't blame him for not choosing Bitcoin it's just that when a content creator comes to someone who knows the value of Bitcoin and $100 it's clear he will choose Bitcoin.
1868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 18, 2023, 12:11:37 PM
Well , whenever a team makes a lot of draws , I cam to conclusion that is way more possible for that team to suffer a defeat than rather obtain a victory. Having a draw will make your team very confused because no matter if they played good or bad , a draw is a great result no matter how you look in it. You could make a draw in all of EPL games , and you will be relegated 100%. Liverpool on the other hand , are desperately looking for points and Salah after he scored again , he might do it against Newcastle too.
at least a draw is better than getting bad results for example losing a few games, of course that will make Newcastle worse off, but so far Newcastle is playing well even though the results are often draws and at least they don't lose points, against Liverpool later I think Newcastle can do it add 1 point from another draw
With Liverpool current condition, it is still quite doubtful if they can play optimally. Their current opponent is a club that has grown a lot. Newcastle has managed to improve their performance this season and for Liverpool, this is the biggest test because their target to continue advancing is getting narrower.

I would probably bet on a Newcastle win, it's a slim result for him.
1869  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If it was you on: February 17, 2023, 10:43:26 AM
Both have their pros and cons, and frankly I would not recommend a newbie to be trading at all, not until they can decide on their own which approach is best for them.

Even if you have been a market participant for a long time and you have never entered a trade, when you enter a trade, you are still a novice because you have no knowledge of trading.

Newbies can still enter the trade, we all used to be newbies and to gain experience, we need experience. I support newbies in trading as long as they are passionate and willing to accept losses to learn. As a newbie, when starting to trade, you should start with the smallest amount of capital to limit risks because what we are aiming for is not profit but knowledge and experience.
100% agree with what you suggest. Because of that I often give lessons to beginners who want to learn trading at my place. They must prepare minimum capital and use that capital within a certain period of time. It doesn't matter whether they will win or lose, because at the end of the session when evaluating, what I emphasize the most is what learning they can get during the process of learning to trade. That way we will know what kind of trading mentality they form.
1870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 17, 2023, 09:34:14 AM
Beautiful game yesterday and I think this was the best result that could have happened because both teams showed a great performance with me being impressed by Manchester United form and also surprised by the fact that the team with the best recent form in all Europe was not able to win in their home field in front of their home crowd.

Still though anything is open for the qualification as now goals that you score away has no more value so even if it ends 0-0 in Old Trafford we will go to additional time and maybe penalties but I still think that Barcelona will qualify further from this duel.
The caste 2 league now has quite a different atmosphere when there are big clubs in it. With the Barcelona vs Man United match already underway, this has attracted a lot of attention. Moreover, the performance of the two teams was in optimal condition so that the end of the game was dramatic.

Leg 2 which will be played at Old Trafford will certainly be a big test, especially for the mentality of the Barcelona players because at Camp Nou maybe Gavi emotions will not be as tense as today's match. Several times Gavi has been under the spotlight for playing quite rough, Xavi job is to keep his players under control and focus on playing to win. Because when a player's emotions are provoked, Barcelona playing strategy will automatically no longer be well structured.

I no longer consider him a human or a bot, but personally, he is an asset to the forum as well as a source of information. That's the picture I'm making for him now. a small example is when I need a source related to Bitcoin speculation knowledge etc., then JayJuanGee is the reference I'm looking for based on his posting history. I'm sure he's (JayJuanGee) reading this thread and laughing in his chair flipping his legs. JayJuanGee had a wide range of knowledge, always respecting the income of people who differed from him, but what he couldn't help but was that he was generous in giving awards, especially for posters that he could discuss with threads.
1872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 16, 2023, 05:04:58 PM
There are so many bad news was coming but will this news was affecting the performance from barcelona in la liga? We will see that.

I don't think that will reduce Barcelona's ambitions in Laliga, they will continue to consistently play Laliga matches until the end of the season, considering that they have lost the chance to win Laliga for the last three seasons.
It's not easy for Barcelona to reach this point, this season is a big opportunity for them to dominate Laliga
I am optimistic that the Laliga title will belong to Barcelona this season
Barcelona must focus on finishing what they started and what they are holding now. They have been in front of Real Madrid it will be very disappointing if they have to end empty-handed like the previous season where they could not even compete in the slightest. They also shouldn't be complacent with what they have achieved so far, because if they act like that I'm afraid bad luck will befall them.
1873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 16, 2023, 03:24:08 PM
I remember when Bayern Munich was playing consecutive and successive draws in the league not knowing that their points are being reduced. Although having 1 point is better than having no point at all. I don't think that Union Berlin can will the league, unless they take the advantage that Bayern is aiming  both Bundesliga and champions league.
In the Bundesliga standings it is now seen that there are three teams that can disrupt the top of the standings if one of them loses their next game. This is obviously very interesting because now Bayern Munich is under pressure and is a very worthy opponent to compete in this season, even though in terms of strength it may still not be said to be balanced. But this time Bayern Munich needs to play more focused so that Union Berlin and Dortmund cannot sit in first place in the Bundesliga this season.
Standings like this make the league more interesting to watch. Bayern Munich is under great threat when they are only a few points away from the team under them. Yes indeed that is the result of their 3 matches which only played a draw so that other teams can catch up with them with a little ease. So now is a situation that their competitors must take advantage of if they don't want to see Bayern Munich return to being champions for many years.

In the next few hours we will witness the match we have been waiting for between the two big teams in their respective leagues, Barcelona in La Liga and Manchester United in the Premier League. There has been a lot of speculation about these two teams going up, Barcelona being the favorite or Manchester United being the favourite. We will see how they will be able to answer the speculations and predictions that exist about them. I hope they can play an open game and make the game interesting to watch.

There are currently rumors that PSG has decided to sell Neymar Jr in the next season's transfer market. Neymar did have a bit of a fight with Luis Campos. We know Neymar's contract at PSG ends in 2025, but from local news, I read that PSG will soon release a low price for the sale of Neymar.

If this really happens I'm sure there are still big clubs interested in signing him. For example, if Real Madrid are interested, this could be a breath of fresh air for Ancelotti in giving new energy to the club.
1877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 15, 2023, 12:29:42 PM
Club Brugge will face quite a strong opponent where currently Benfica leads Group H above PSG. Benfica, which has played so far without defeat, is an advantage for them to continue to extend their position from PSG's pursuit. Meanwhile, Club Brugge can still surprise Benfica because so far they have started with an unpredictable game. Experiencing a 1x defeat for Club Brugge is still enough to be able to provide resistance for Benfica, who are now without Enzo Fernandez, having lost a bit of strength.

VAR took away PSG's comeback because of a 0.1 cm offsides - it's awful. I'm speechless after that. It's time for a new rule in soccer: "offside only counts if it's more than 10cm." VAR and offsides rob us of soccer, of adrenaline, of a comeback. These things are "Football" for us. It makes me sad that soccer is collapsing and I want soccer to be more interesting.
VAR is still VAR that is still controlled by humans. So it would be too risky if VAR rules all forms of regulation on the pitch where we have lost a lot of moments. VAR is increasingly controversial about its use. It is true that VAR is useful in helping referees to be more observant, but sometimes the use of VAR also causes quite a bit of controversy. Who controls the VAR and it depends on how it is used, it is difficult to avoid problems when VAR is already playing a role on the pitch.
1878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 15, 2023, 12:09:44 PM
To be fair City has one more game, which means that even if City wins, if Arsenal wins that extra game that would be 3 points. However, if Arsenal wins, which means so much to them, that would make the difference 6 points, and if they win that extra game? Boy oh boy, that is 9 point difference. So this game means so much, it could be a City leadership, it could be Arsenal inching away to victory, it means so much.

I do not remember any game this important for a while now, and even though there are still many games to go, not many will be as important as this one. I am going to avoid betting on this one, it looks too dangerous for me and I am not going to end up doing it.
So far, both teams will be quite difficult to predict who can win the match. Because Arsenal will definitely do their best and try to minimize mistakes. For Man City, this opportunity will clearly have a big chance if it can beat the London cannon. As you said, betting at this time is quite troublesome because taking into account the team's strength it is clear that it can almost be said to be balanced. I decided not to bet and switched to another bet.
1879  Economy / Economics / Re: Anyone here into passive investing (of their time)? on: February 14, 2023, 04:26:30 PM
Over the past few years, from 2015 to 2019 I have been involved in various fields such as blogger, fiction book writing, being a content creator on YouTube (in the internet world), as for other business fields in the real world, I once opened a screen printing business specifically for music band logos. and I also had time to work with several bands abroad but that didn't last long because the pandemic immediately destroyed my work.

And in 2020 I tried to enter the agricultural sector and so far it has been quite successful. By utilizing land ownership whose territory is still tropical so it is suitable for planting fruit and vegetables. Now for myself, this is my investment that has a long chance, because the level of profit earned from planting seeds to harvest has increased dramatically.

Liverpool managed to win, even Nunez made a good assist for Moh Salah. Although indeed he has not lived up to the expectations of supporters. Of course this result made Liverpool better after four winless matches with three losses and one draw. At least they were able to shift Chelsea while one point ahead. In addition they have a chance to shift Fulham because they have one game less. In addition Gakpo also scored, this is good news for him because it was his first goal for Liverpool.
With this win, at least Liverpool have managed to get out of the successive defeats they have had in recent matches, namely defeat by Brighton in the FA Cup and defeat by Wolves in the Premier League. the first goal was very fast and unexpected. because the goal was obtained from a very fast counterattack opportunity. Nunez and M. Salah put it to good use so that it became the opening goal for Liverpool's advantage in that match. But as a whole actually Liverpool have not returned to their best performance. but well at least now Liverpool looks better than in the previous game.
At least this is a warm-up for Liverpool because next week facing Newcastle who are in prime form this season will be a tougher task for Klopp and his squad. This victory can be the start of improvement but to continue to prove that they are worthy Liverpool must also be able to win against Newcastle. One more thing, Liverpool needs its players to be careful so that no one gets injured because their schedule in the UCL which will be held is not an easy opponent.
