Weekly update.
o_e_l_e_o earned enough merits for ranking up to Hero Member but has no sufficient activity yet.
Flodner and BitcoinTurk have ranked up to Senior Members.
They are the new Full Members: MagicSmoker, F2b, Shitcointalk, Hellmouth42, cryptolord2077, coffeandtango, kerem89, easyboy, YumukluSucurta.
By the way, the last four users are active in the turkish local board and in my opinion look suspicious receiving and sending 50 merits in one transaction.
Congratulations on ranking up!

Well that was quick! Have you manage to retrieve already all the user profiles for all TXs right up to this morning in order to do this ?
Yes, I prepared the analysis in advance. I created this thread as soon as the new dump of merit transactions has been published.
Also, I'm not sure why their are only 53 on the top 200 list..
Now there are 200 members in the list.
Good job, you marked already the known or safe givers as well i see, so it will make it easier to run some check on these. I wrote the merit sources known to me in bold, now I just marked the red tagged members in italic.

Примечание: Основная тема создана в английском разделе Meta.

On September 17, 2018, the new enhanced restrictions and requirements for newbies have been introduced on the Bitcointalk forum. In particular, nowadays Newbie must have sufficient activity and earn at least one merit for ranking up to Jr. Member. A lot of meritless users were demoted to Newbies, and now they want to receive one merit for restoring their rank. It is predictable that the merit traders and account farmers immediately became active, and they started distributing per one merit for clearly garbage messages or reports. However, everybody knows that each merit should be given only for a useful post. Therefore I decided to create TOP-200 of the members who support decent newbies which make useful posts and contribute to the forum development. Of course, the list likely contains merit traders and account farmers, but I suppose that most of these members give merits to newbies well-deservedly. The table below shows the user name, his current rank and the quantity of newbies who were supported by this member since the new rules have been introduced on the forum. I will write the known merit sources in bold. The currently reg tagged members will be marked in italic, permanently banned users will be strikelined.
Members who support newbies (Sep 17, 2018 - Jun 7, 2024) Total supported: 24134 newbies (by 5321 members) [1] - the rank that is based on the merit amount regardless of current activity
The chart below illustrates how many newbies have been supported since September 17, 2018.
I remind, please do not beg merits from other members, otherwise you can be red tagged. This post is relevant for June 7, 2024, and has been updated on June 8, 2024.I will publish monthly statistics.

In fact, the price of any altcoin depends on the US dollar. For example, CoinMarketCap shows prices in USD, although these coins or tokens are not traded directly for fiat money or Tether. Such price aggregators calculate and estimate the price of any crypto currency using the current price of BTC or ETH in US dollars.
The ERC20-tokens are connected to the Ethereum blockchain. In addition, many decentralized exchange markets based on smart contracts have a bid/ask orders for buying/selling tokens for ETH, so this trading activity also affects the price in USD.

Currently Ethereum costs about $200. This is a new reality. Frankly, I don't expect this crypto currency will bounce back even to $400 in the near future. The big ICO campaigns are coming to an end and soon their teams will cash out getting fiat money, so the ETH price can fall again. I think that the current support level of Ethereum is $170.

Yes, with their tips you need to be careful, as with news from the media, they can skillfully manipulated by large investors and create a good point of purchase
You need to be very careful about all the information that you receive in social media, especially the information that it has to do with money or investments, there are many people spreading all kind of information that is not true and if you follow that advice without verifying it then it's likely that you are going to lose a lot of money, I know this should not happen because people should not follow the advice of someone that they do not even know but believe me it happens. Social media are the primary sources that cover news about the crypto currency world. Some of these sources are trustworthy, others deliberately spread FUD and fake information. Hence investors and traders should check these news before making their financial decision. I personally trust some sites that provide only the facts directly from the teams and do not try to persuade somebody to buy or sell a crypto currency.

Nothing can replace a human.
It is correct. Robots and machines can't be creative and can't create something new, therefore humans must use their brains and work as inventors. Moreover, the conveyors need to be managed by technical specialists, so smart and educated people will always be in demand. Technologies are improving very rapidly. Some programs can already visually recognize the elements and can analyze the speech. Undoubtedly, robots are evolving and I am confident that they will be widely used in many areas of the economy in the future.

I often buy some promising coins and tokens while the markets are red and people are panic selling, because usually prices recover after a drop. Then I sell these coins on crypto exchange markets. It is important not to be greedy and don't expect huge growth. In most of the cases I gain profits, so I like panic sellers too.

But on a fundamental level, decentralized exchanges seem incompatible with fiat money. A decentralized exchange should be trustless -- multi-sig contracts or similar can secure the trade. This can be extended to stablecoins, but stablecoins are funded with money that has already been deposited into the cryptocurrency ecosystem. We need to solve deposits and withdrawals to/from the fiat ecosystem.
How can this work with trusted third parties, like with bank transfers? How can a decentralized protocol verify that a P2P cash exchange actually occurred? It seems like these things require arbitrage mechanisms to settle trader disputes that can't be done on a trustless or decentralized basis.
There has to be a p2p step for fiat and then you can go into the properly decentralised bit. I've never used Bisq so I've no idea how their arbitration works. That's no doubt the bit that'll need plenty of refining. I don't think it can ever be A1 but it should become smoother overall. I think that decentralized exchanges can't deal with fiat money. Traders should use an escrow service to transfer USD, EURO, etc. The reliable way to exchange crypto currencies is an "atomic swap" function. I heard that Litecoin supports this feature. People often use the ShapeShift service to buy Bitcoins and other top rated crypto currencies without verification. It should be mentioned that the Ethereum ERC20-tokens can be exchanged on Etherdelta. Currently this smart contract holds ETH and tokens worth more that 1 billion USD.

Undoubtedly, these new enhanced newbie restrictions and requirements were expected. I'm glad to see 36 merit sources which were added today: There are 120 merit sources with a total merit generation of up to 23045 sMerit per 30 days I will detect them in my thread. I think that the posting images should be based purely on activity of a member, because nowadays newbies need to make a post worthy of giving at least 1 merit. Typically, a good post contains charts, graphs or other pictures.

The economy of the leading countries which pursue the correct policy is going up everyday, but the world economy isn't increase so much. Yes, currently the national fiat currencies of the most countries are significantly falling against USD and EURO. In any case, the overall crypto exchange market is still small compared to traditional stock markets. In my opinion, the crypto currencies have their own economical field for individuals from all over the world.

I think it should be noted that most of the large crypto exchanges have already emitted their own ERC20-tokens (for example, BNB, HT, etc). These tokens can be bought for getting bonuses and discounts. As I can see, not all the exchanges support the "trailing stop (TS)" function. Nice guide, good work.

The ERC20-token EOS was born on the blockchain of Ethereum and this promising project already migrated onto its own blockchain about five months ago. I suppose that this crypto currency will develop and evolve, and a new easy-to-use EOS wallet will be created soon. Nevertheless, currently Ethereum is the most useful coin in the ICO industry.
I don't see any solid reasons why the ETH price tumbled on the crypto exchange markets recently. Personally I treat this falling as a general collapse of altcoins.
By the way, Ethereum has bounced back to $220 (+7%), although other altcoins are still at low levels.

Many people still can't believe that the crypto currency which is so useful in ICO campaigns crashed down to $170. But now Ethereum has bounced back to $220 and it is growing +7%, hence as I can see, this coin is strongly supported on the crypto exchange markets by investors. Probably, the "whales" so aggressively dumped Ethereum, that stop-losses were triggered, therefore the ETH price fell so deep. In any case, each dip is a good opportunity to buy cheap coins.

No, you are wrong because there are no objective reasons for that. In fact there are several countries which are close to the default as far as I know it is Venezuela, India, Turkey, Pakistan as well as the current world financial situation may say "cry to us about the next financial crisis" but I cannot figure out why do you consider that crypto currencies will substitute national currencies? In my opinion I consider that in the period of the next crisis currencies of developing countries will be weak but the major currencies (like dollar, euro, yen and some other) will be quite strong because investors usually use them as a refuge. What about crypto currencies, their liquidity and capitalization is ridiculous small to use them as a refuge for a big capital. Crypto currencies will likely grow but they are not going to substitute any national currencies in the near future.
You are right about investing in strong fiat currencies (USD, EUR, etc), but the government of a country that is close to default can impose severe restrictions for exchanging them with the local fiat currency and vice versa. Thus crypto currencies can have an opportunity to be an international reserve asset in the crisis times for ordinary individuals. I guess that the probable world economical crisis can affect the crypto currency world, but it will be an alternative transactional payment system.
